Here is a selected wrap of how our foreign-based players fared at their respective clubs over the weekend.

RUSSIA
Striker Lameck Banda came off the bench in the 85th minute of Arsenal Tula’s 1-0 away loss sixth placed Rubin Kazan on Sunday.
But 2019 Zambia Young Player of the Year Kings Kangwa was an unused substitute and has yet to see any league action after six games played for the seventh placed side since he joined them this season from Buildcon.

BELIGIUM
Striker Fashion Sakala played the full 90 minutes for ninth placed KV Oostende in Sunday’s 2-0 away loss at fifth positioned KAA Gent to sustain their second successive league defeat of the season after four round of games played and currently sit on 6 points.

SOUTH AFRICA

-SuperSport United: Striker Gampani Lungu was an unused substitute in SuperSport United’s 3-0 away rout of Bidvest Wits in Sunday’s Top 8 Cup quarterfinal match.
Defender Billy Mutale did not make the short trip to Johannesburg.

-Orlando Pirates: Striker Justin Shonga played the full 90 minutes in Pirates 1-0 Top 8 Cup quarterfinal home loss to Highlands Park on Saturday.
Midfielder Augustine Mulenga also started but was substituted in the 75th minute

-Mamelodi Sundowns: Goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene did not make Sundowns team in Saturday’s 3-0 Top 8 Cup quarterfinal home win over Bloemfontein Celtic

FRANCE
Defender Stopilla Sunzu played the full 90 minutes on Saturday for promoted Metz who stunned ailing giants and bottom of the table Monaco in a 3-0 home victory to stay unbeaten after two rounds of matches played on 4 points and at number four on 4 points on the Ligue 1 log.

AUSTRIA
Striker Patson Daka and midfielder Enock Mwepu were unused substitutes in leaders and defending champions RB Salzburg’s 6-0 away win over second from bottom St Polten.
