Headlines Zambia's COVID-19 cases rise to 16

  1. While the cases in other countries are doubling or tripling by the day, ours seem to be stuttering up slowly. We can only hope that all those that were on that plane from Pakistan are responsible enough to adhere to the restrictrictions in place and quarantine themselves. Like almost every country on the globe, we’re being taken to the test, but I’m confident we’re going to pull through this crisis.

  2. If you follow all other countries, its normal that the cases will double every 3-5 days. But its important that ALL ZAMBIANS KNOWS ABOUT THIS OUTBREAK; our grandpa on the countryside knew about there was 2 cases, but he dont follow the news, we then told him its 16 now. I/we believe many on the countryside do not even know about the Corona Covid-19 especially the older. SO WE NEED TO SPREAD THE WORD; BY PHONE CALL`S

  3. Useless lazy thieves! They have no clue how to deal with this situation. Foote is cursing Zambia for chasing him. The man was right to say that the PF are a corrupt bunch. They used homosexuality as an excuse to get rid of him and yet ignored all the issues he raised about corruption. As a gay man I find that so cheap and low. Using my orientation as an excuse to justify your evil actions is pure evil. This is why i will never return to that forsaken country called zambia.

  4. How can anyone tell if a person has been asked to self-isolate ? I hope cabinet members were observing the social distancing requirements.

  5. Believe me that the real number is 10 or 20 times over the number they are currently reporting. The can is lose good luck to all and may God intervene. We reap what we sow.

  7. Please buy ventilators for all hospitals in the hospitals in the country. We need at least 50 ventilators in small hospitals and 200 ventilators for UTH and other big hospitals. Stop kidding and yapping without taking action

  8. Is that tarino ?? I always knew you were a loose cannon but never thought you would be gay. I advise you to stay wherever you are because if you bring that dirtiness, ifiko, here we will finish you.

  10. Thought, an earlier report assured us that port authorities were testing every person arriving at airports. Now…..there is a Nationwide hunt for other travellers from the same Pakistan flight?

Can we just get serious, right now please. Everyone knows there is more than 16 in Zambia. Gathering correct stats will be difficult if not impossible. People should just stay at home. No use self isolating and going out again, you CAN get cov-19, again a second time. Antibodies is no guarantee against reinfection. Stay home and stay a distance from each other.

  11. The incompetence and ineptitude of this PF gov’t has directly led to Zambia’s Covid-19 case increases. They didn’t shut the nation down nor forcefully isolate/monitor those already infected returnees.

  12. SELF QUARANTINE WILL NOT WORK. QUARANTINE EVERY SUSPECT BY FORCE AND TREAT THOSE BREAKING THE LAW AND PROSECUTE THEM WHEN THEY ARE HEALED. HOW CAN SOMEONE WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE QUARANTINED WALK IN THE BANK HALL. IT IS DEVILISH AND MUST PUNISHED FOR BREAKING THE LAW
