Former First Lady Christine Kaseba-Sata has said that President Edgar Lungu has carried on with the vision of late President Michael Sata.

Dr. Kaseba-Sata has since advised people criticizing the debt that Zambia has accumulated, to also look at the infrastructure that has been built using the same borrowed money. The Former First Lady said that she is surprised to see many roads that have been built in different districts of the country.

Speaking to Journalists in Lusaka today on the sidelines of the sixth memorial of late President SataDr. Kaseba-Sata said that it is the same infrastructure that will help the country to make more money in the long term and that it will not be possible for the country to make progress without proper infrastructure.

Dr. Kaseba-Sata added that Zambians will one day appreciate the importance of the infrastructure that the PF is putting in place.

President Edgar Lungu was among several Zambians who attended the memorial. The President was joined by Cabinet Ministers, PF officials and opposition political party leaders among others.

And Catholic priest Father Charles Chilinda urged Zambians to love one another. Father Chilinda said late President SATA promoted love among Zambians.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Chanda Kasolo thanked President Lungu for the support he has been rendering to the Sata family. Mr. Kasolo who is former information permanent secretary urged the PF to continue serving the interests of the poor.

He said the Sata family is aware that the PF was formed for every Zambian and will continue supporting the ruling party. Mr. Kasolo further said the Sata family has found a home in PF and wants President Lungu to continue.

  2. KZ you haven’t done anything’s worthwhile nor anything credible. What you stand for is a bonafide worthless chap.

Look in the mirror and ask yourself what one thing have you done that has made a positive impact.

You and your corrupt ex boss need to be caged once HH forms government. I assure you change is coming unless the elections are heavily rigged just like 2016

  3. So 30 pieces have blinded ba Kaseba this much? No Zambian hates infrustructure development, what we hate is the inflating of the costs for the benefit of the thieves tasked with the job, that was not Sata’s vision madam. When you say don’t look at the borrowing, are you for real? Which parent borrows K300 to buy a K15 loaf of bread? Would you advise the children to look at the bread and not to worry about how one loaf will deprive them of K285 when they need it? The fact that you were given a job should not blind you to the fact that millions of youths are unemployed.

  5. What???
    a) Sata was not going to authorize the purchase of the Presidential Jet , 4 other planes for millions of dollars (All in the name of Zambia Air Force) while poor Zambians are suffering
    b) Sata was not going to authorize the purchase of second hand fire fighters for millions of dollars while the majority of Zambians are suffering
    c) Sata was not going to send his Wife with an entourage of over 25 people in all to collect Fire Fighters. A bedroom attendant, cook, cleaner, waiter, seven police officers, three secretaries, two fire brigade officers, a communications officer and an accountant were among those accompanying Lungu
THE ABOVE WERE NOT THE VISION OF SATA, BUT LUNGUS VISION PERIOD

  11. Mr. Kaizar Zulu I am not young anymore, I am 55 years and a grandfather. Other peoples wives will wait until I become the first black African pope lol

  12. Kaizala Zezulu was unceremoniously dismissed by late president Sata, though not my cup of tea but had principles – he would not tolerate the pandemic rot in current PF.

  13. But Justice boyi naupompa!! Why lifting inshimbi as if you have nothing to do like a PF cadre?
I stopped lifting nshimbi because my 2 women, that time 3 women all stopped screaming from my size.
    I do alot of running.

  14. KZ my parents worked hard to make a living not from your corruption or from brown envelopes like you.

I studied abroad got a degree and I have a decent job. At least when i go to sleep I know I am content. The salary I earn makes me happy. At least I know it’s a honest income unlike you.

Like it or not you are a waste of space. You are nothing. For your kind of information I will always be a Zambian. I was born and bred in Zambia.

  15. I think it would have been fine to just come and observe the memorial and quietly go back to Paris. Vinangu ivi ninkunkhala ziii…

  16. Laughable! Sometimes it’s better not to say anything. MCS never received questionable gifts of land in eSwatini and I end there. Saboi Imboela will tell the rest

  20. She can’t say anything bad about the hands that’s feeding her. Otherwise she is well aware of the misrule that her husband stood for. He destroyed Zambia.

The current leadership stands for all the wrongs in this world, the don’t fight for anything with integrity, they are hopeless. May God open our minds.

  21. Njala this lady.

Hunger can make someone say anything.

What was Sata’s opinion on Zambia Open?

Please do not disgrace the memory of Sata. At least he made us proud to be citizens.

These days, you can not even enter a Chinese restaurant unless you are the cleaner.

  23. There’s a presumption in PF that Sata’s vision was a Nationally accepted or approved vision for Zambia. It is WRONG, and Can you guys stop imposing this notion on Zambians, coz Sata was equally clueless of modern day management of government and public institutions? He was just LOUD – and arrogant to be honest.

    10
  24. That is not true Madam Kaseba and you know it. This is not the way Sata would have ruled this country, very far from it. Guy Scott and Sylvia Masebo saw something in the current President that the rest of us did not see
