The Second Gentleman of the United States of America, Douglas Emhof  show cased his Nshima cooking skills. He joined the launch of the “ALTERNATIVES TO CHARCOAL (A2C) PROJECT” under USAID in Lusaka’s Kalingalinga area.
During the launch Mr Emhof the took time to interact with the people and even picked up a cooking stick as he participated in cooking Zambia’s staple food Nshima using the clean cooking fuels and technologies that were being showcased.
During the launch of A2C project, six Zambian companies that promote clean cooking fuels and technologies have received grants totalling to K21 million .
