Wezi released her latest single “Nthenda” that features Jay Rox

“Nthenda” means disease in a few languages from the Eastern part of Zambia.
This song questions the love of women who stay in abusive relationships. Domestic violence and gender imbalance come as a result of social perception of women in relationships.

  1. SUNTWE YOU ARE ASKING FOR TOO MUCH IN TERMS OF MUSIC PA ZAMBIA. EVEN EARL KLUGH ADVISED THEM TO PLAY MUSIC WITH MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND NOT SINGING TO THE BACKGROUND COMPUTER MUSIC. IT’S LONG OVERDUE ZAMBIANS STARTED TAKING MUSIC SERIOUSLY. THE MEDIA DOESN’T HELP EITHER. THEY ALWAYS PROMOTE RUBBISH. HAVING SAID THAT EKO BABA ABENA UNCLE REX AND VERY FEW OTHERS WHO USE INSTRUMENTS TO PLAY MUSIC.
