Some Patriotic Front (PF) youths have called on the party president to step down.
Mandevu Constituency Chairperson Frank Lombe said the PF youths in the area are demanding that Mr Sata should step down within 30 days.
Mr Lombe said the PF youths are calling for a new president because Mr. Sata is undemocratic and will never lead the party to power.
The youth chairperson said Mr. Sata is an enemy of transparency adding that the ways he uses to bring money from donors are questionable.
He henceforth called on auditors to audit party account for PF.
And the PF youths said they were in support of ‘the rebel’ PF MPs who recently won an injunction to be expelled from the opposition party.
Mr. Lombe said case of the 30 rebel Member of Parliament who were expelled from the party should not be dropped as they were doing the right thing by attending the NCC.
They have also advised President Rupiah Banda not to exchange words in the media directly but through State House Secretary for Press and Public Relations Dickson Jere who he said has vast experience with the media.
Mr. Lombe said this when he addressed the media in Lusaka today.
ZANIS/AC/IS/ENDS/MM.
Prepare for hard times ahead.
Who do they want to take over? Hope they are not being used
uko !!!!
Another Lifwekelo type MMD hired youth. very full of hot air and no substance. Looks like the MMD under RB have started specializing in hiring mobs and thugs as their mouth piece
Zambian press is very cheap; anything can call a press conference
Fya Zanda ku PF…and Sata given 30 days??
Pa Bwato!
I agree with both of you True PF Cadre says and Njinja Yobweleka says. It is not just the government that needs overhauling; it’s the entire Zambian media as well!
Should read: I agree with both of you True PF Cadre, and Njinja Yobweleka. It is not just the government that needs overhauling; it’s the entire Zambian media as well!
I almost supported the call, but after reading the article nacinja amano coz these youths are have been given money to cause ifyongo.I thought the reason will be the Man is too old and that was going to hold water not,not the reason they have given ati the big man is undemocratic. Malabish.
Chewe where are you? Come and see the news pa LT.
iwe kalombe don`t wast our time we knw v been paid for such rubsh.we `v past that level short leaved life.
Valid points from the youths but the 30 days ultimatum is nonsense. Sata should be coerced to call a convetion so that the party elects leaders not the way Sata appoints officials unilaterally. About auditing the party accounts, well, let sleeping dogs lie!
LT should find some good Friday headlines other than this one please. It is called dress down Friday.
Hired assassins. What will mmd govt not do to silence opposition to their madness? Imagine paying the catholic women’s league to agitate for removal of selfless father bwalya! Puliz give us a break.
Sata should step down from what? His non existence Party? The man’s head is fogged up with all those nasty cigarettes he smokes.
Ati ama youths?Very boring,i thought they would raise sensible points, who do they want to take over-Eaustina Sinyangwe??Sata is PF & PF is Sata
The youths are right. This is indeed over due. Country men what good can come out of ba Sata? He has outlived his usefulness. Where do you think he can drive Zambia to? Let PF elect its leaders, not what we see where Sata is PF and PF is Sata.
Zambian youths.
Sata should step down but not for the reasons advanced by this disillusioned chap. The problem is not with the proposal but the way this guys has decided to handle it. On whose behalf is he speaking and has he attempted to follow party channels to remove Sata or is he merely showing the symptoms of one suffering from the contagious “RB Brown envelop virus”. He needs to keep quiet for his own sake
Whats with these ma ultimate??? everyone is being given ultimatums to do this olo else nothing happens, i mean what happened to Magandes latter which Sata gave an ultimatum to be released.
PF needs an overhaul with a leader that will have satas full blessings because its his personal to holder. Only he knows how to handle his members and cadres and like some ppl have said maybe its the whole of Zambia that needs an overhaul attitude with zedians yalibako bad…
I am not a fan of SATA, but such behavior from some chairman (in small letters) is utter comedy. Better reasons could have been advanced, any one can easily discern that its politics of poverty at play,.. hired chaps. If you are not happy with the system, the best way is to resign from that system.
these are just MMD hired thugs. I also blame the media, i know we have freedom of expression, but honestly this is nonesense! This crup of youths being used to fuel some political ambitions should come to an end, lets talk about things that will help us tomorrow, and not this rubbish! Next time they are hired to go and show ‘solidarity’ to RB they should ask him what his doing for the country’s economy, rather than just listening to “Ndani apika nsima lelo, ni Banda!”. Sata and PF are not in governement, so lets put the current governement under check and not wasting time with a social club called PF, until PF forms governement, the people to concentrate on are the guys in MMD period!
FOSEKE IMWE!! ATASE! MA LABISH!!
50 year old youth. Some so called youths don’t inspire conidence in me. I tell you fellow bloggers we are going back to the old FTJ style of politics. Solidarity matches, resignations and NGO’s will be the order of the day. Press briefings etc
#24, hehee. 50 years huh, I wish i was a dictator, i would round them up and take them to state farms.
What sort of nonsense is this? These so called youths who have no direction in life. They even have the audacity to say that. Can you join mmd and leave Sata alone. We dont want your rantings and ravings. And you mikonfwa, what ever you call yourself behave! Hahaha utu tatwakwata umuchinshi ayi.Ati Sata bla, bla.
it is shameful to alot of people busy supporting this rotten teeth of sata even when you know he can do anything to improve your life. sata must groom any young bemba person within his party to have any chance of visiting state house like he was doing the days of kafupi chiluba.
one of you mentioned some time back that pf and UPND shuld merge to have any chance of defeting MMD. this is just wishful thinking. sata he wants to be president, HH he wants to be president, who is better placed to improve the life of the zambia people and have morden knowledge about techniques required in morden politics. One of them will be living meeting to attend smoking, he does not need our support.
Useless chi lombe!MMD gives you money , you start talking nonsense with your rebel MPs.wake up before they chase you from the party.I thought you would give the reason why Sata should resign but you’ve shown that you’re very useless in Zambian society. So long as Rb gives you $ you’re ready to do anything.Awe sure Zambia will never develop.
PF cadres, please ask yourselves whether Sata has subjected himself to any form of election. He put himself there and the party is his personal club. We do not want such a person as president do we? Imagine Sata with all the presiidential powers- I tell you not even cockroaches would be allowed to cough. The country would be ruled like military barrack.
Those are desperate youths who have neen given SHAKE SHAKE by the MMD to distabilise PF. tamwaishiba ama politics yansala mu Zambia???
Hey some of you bloggers, you dont want Sata then vote for whoever you want. And stop talking nonsense about him.Its democracy.
I tend to think that, Mr Lombe.Mr lifwekelo and Mr Chewe(MMD lusaka youth chair) have common ancestral lineage with great propensity for money, even if to a point of disgracing themselves. As for president sata, it is time he realized that ,he is now living in the evening of his political career. It will be wise to prepare some one that will be accepted by all as his successor.
People should leave the “youth” Sata alone and send the Shikulu RB home! Mulekeni umwaice akatekeko! RB Zwa and go to the village!!!
These Youths are using similar tactics Sata used to expell MMD rebels in 2001. These Youths should have justed ended at addressing their concern on Sata instead of having additional comments that seem as if they are in support of R.B.
LOMBE WHO ARE YOU, MWAICE? DON’T WASTE OUR TIME WHEN WE WANT TO READ ABOUT REAL ISSUES IN THE MEDIA.
I have the long time ardent PF cadre from day one but realised, with Ba Sata PF is heading no where other that squicking in fantasy and valueless insults. The man pulls dollar funds and pockets it while the cadres wallow in empty slogans and peddling bath tubs in street corners. No skills, no future. Its no secret that the Madimu Mudimu Dykers will never live to let a day of Sata in-charge of plot one.Yes he needs to go but the 30 day is too short to transfer power orderly.A modern technocratic thinking politician with sound education must be found to replace the hopeless brusing politics that has trapped PF.Look at what leadership of Mazoka achieved. Its time to let go & nurse heart.failure.

FOR SURE THE MEDIA IN ZAMBIA IS VERY CHEAP. LOMBE NGA WAIKUTA KALUNDWE KUYA FUKUMWINA UKUTALI NOT MULUKUNGU, MWAICE. FILANUNKA.
This youth is not a PF but MMD meant at weakening the party.Who soever is not happy with SATA must form his own party.Viva SATA
Party politics are cheap, immature and too intoxicated with power. Yes Sata has to stepdown. Too old, too self centred, misguided and too far left. His is still dwelling in the past. Time has move on. He has to think like a head of state with a vision of how he can propel the country to prosperity.
Guys lets late Sata continue. He can fight and he is known as a hands-own. he can make the ggovernment seat up. I just luv Sata
Hhmmmm, People let us be faire. Who does not know in Zambia that PF has no members? The members of PF are only three. Guyscott, Lubinda and Sata himselve. Sata formed the party alone. In the 2001 elections he was alone and campaigned alone till guyscott joined him. People were laughing at them until they saw their relentless fight. In 2006 the wolfs (rebel-MPs) capitalized on Sata’s fight and today they are enjoying. It is really a wonder for PF to be receiving such big number of votes despite having no structure on the ground. That’s why in PF there will be no convention due to the fact that no one is interested in being a member of PF but almost every in the urban areas has assured PF…
but almost every in the urban areas has assured PF a vote. So if PF has no members, why should you ask for Sata’s step down coz this would mean end of PF. Please leave this 3 members-party alone. Since you Lombe are not a member just form your own party and attract all the people who vote for PF. That will be nice of you coz you will have all the party structures in place.
What I see is that you guys against this 3-members party’s President Sata have felt his impact and he is a force to reckon with in the Zambian political arena. So I wish to advise you to leave him alone and if you want to be president just form your party and fight as every one does. Sata, Guyscott and Lubinda have…
So I wish to advise you to leave him alone and if you want to be president just form your party and fight as every one does. Sata, Guyscott and Lubinda have changed the politics of Zamba. They are not compromised like others. LONG LIVE 3- MEMBERS PARTY……Pa bwatooooooooo!!!!!!!!
The political history of Zambia can not be complete without the mention of Sata, as a governor, minister of local govt, minister of health, minister without portfolio, MMD secretary general and winding up as PF party president . Zambians will live to judge his failures and successes. What is clear however, for now is that, he needs rest on account of his age and health no malice about it.
they are all the same! Sata’s tactics are being used against him. what goes around comes around. yea give him a taste of his medwa!!
Do you bloggers think that Sata can comprehend Dr Moyo’s reasoning?????
About time….. pave the way for a younger generation of leaders – HH, Chirwa, etc.
Now Sata be wise and take a deep breath. We only got a few months to go until 2011. You have to check the PF members properly and sort things out within the party. It is hard to be criticized by your own but this is the time to prove what you stand for.
Chirwa is not serious . He wants to be given the seat just like that. No people that is not the way we operate politics. Let Chirwa go back home and start campagining like his friends do. This is the only way people are going to know him.
Kabongolo, how do you know that he won’t be doing that? Perhaps he doesn’t appear ‘serious’ to most because he’s busy working instead of engaging in political bickering. Honestly, what kind of profession is being a ‘politician’? We have people striving for the country’s top position who know nothing about economics, law, development etc. We need highly skilled and educated people running government. That’s why we have all this nonsense of the Zambian politicial scene, which detracts from more serious issues of national development. Judging by most of the comments on this blog, it looks like a lot of PF bloggers exhibit the same tendencies as their leader – intolerance for dissent…
#48,Chirwa belongs to MMD while HH has his UPND so I see no reason why SATA should give chance to these two gentlemen. So leave SATA alone with his PF
Chirwa for PF president. With Sata MMD will rule for another term with Nyama soya in the groove. Time to quit Mr Sata . We will still respect you, as one of the founding fathers of PF.
GC, I never said PF should adopt Chirwa. I said let Sata step down so ANOTHER party i.e. can start amassing political support. As long as UPND and PF continue contesting the same position, they’ll continue splitting votes. To Kabongolo, how do you know that Chirwa won’t be doing that? Perhaps he doesn’t appear ‘serious’ to most because he’s busy doing a real job instead of engaging in political bickering. Honestly, what kind of profession is being a ‘politician’? We have people striving for the country’s top position who know nothing about economics, law, development etc. We need highly skilled and educated people running government. That’s why we have all this nonsense on the…
Since when did Chirwa become PF?
Zambian political scene, which detracts from more serious issues of national development. Judging by most of the comments on this blog, it looks like a lot of PF bloggers exhibit the same tendencies as their leader – intolerance for dissent and divergent points of view, and using insults unnecessarily when far simpler and more civilised words can get the point across without making a blogger look uncouth. If this is what I can expect from a PF government, then I’d rather have the MMD. Chirwa is not for PF though.
#50 Prof Chirwa is very serious about campaigning. He has just outlined the plan he has for Zambia.Maybe you need to check the UKZambia website.
(continued from 52)… Zambian political scene. Chirwa or HH for President. Enough of this tomfoolery.
#41 wanganizer, thats why most people would like Sata to be president. Its for the sake of hard work and discipline. Those ministers would sweat for their money in the real sense of working. Sata wants results, not stories. MMD has seen the nearing of 2011 and they haven’t done anything to show to the people. So, the only preoccupation people will be witnessing from them is to distabilise potential PF party in waiting. RB, you are pressing wrong buttons. We need some minimum discipline in Zambia. Pabwato.
Sata is a dictator. His way or the high road. How many elections has he lost? What makes you think he is gonna win next time. Moreover, the chap is very old. Leave it young blood with ambitions. Not recycled politicians.
I agree with you #56.SATA should be given a chance to serve. Viva pabwato
Peter, you forget that Sata was in MMD for 10 years…. it didn’t seem that he had problems with the party then, and he even tried to force Chiluba on us for a third term. What change do you think he will be bringing to Zambia? Those who forget history are apt to repeat it. Minimum discipline? If a government minister can send machete-wielding youth to force us to accept Chiluba’s third term, what more is he capable of as President? People should think before taking things at face value.
Dont you have better things to say? Why talk of Chirwa now? The man has been in the UK for a long time,he doesnt really no what is on the ground in Zambia.Dont we have capable leaders in Zambia for us to wait for people like Chirwa, who dont really understand Zambian problems.
guys continue dreaming that sata will win elections..if he just step down,he will be respected and remembered 4 a long time, but if not he will end up being a looser and end up living in shames till he chases the horses.
We are talking of 2011, which is at the crux of all issues about presidential candidates. If we already have capable leaders in Zambia, why are we poorer than ever? Has knowing about Zambia’s problems made our current leaders more willing to act in our best interests? People like criticising Chirwa for ‘not knowing Zambia’s problems’ yet those who supposedly do are not doing anything about them! Evidently, you’re the one with no idea of things on the ground Chewe. Being away from Zambia brings with it the added advantage of exposure and new ideas, which are seriously lacking in our country the moment.
whatever?
Stripper your leg is very nice mwe.
HYPOCRITES! HYPOCRITES! just today on the other thread I was saying that some blogers, in one breath they say they want educated people like Dr. Dambisa Moyo in the next breath they want Sata who does not even know what a preface of a book is! #60, now you are even saying Prof Chirwa does not understand Zambian issues coz he has been away and yet on the other thread you were praising Dr Moyo for solutions ho ho ho! I think people supporting Sata, support him for something else not developing Zambia!
If pf will remain with one follower, that will be me.Ba Engine mwa nsekesha.
#62 You are right on.
If we had capable leaders, our country would have been at par economically with smaller countries in Europe like Belgium . With all the riches in zambia, We need visionaries, not dictators like Sata. We have capable Zambians abroad thats need to be given a chance to execute the transformation from porverty to empowerment. Doesn’t mean if you live and work abroad then you are a lesser Zambian.
Stripper how are you?
why this worry about SATA? I think there is a lot of meat in him thats why you always talk about him. Sata does not matter so just forget about him. But you cant coz he his a great political force….hahahahahahahahah.
Between Prof Chirwa and Sata, then someone choses Sata! this world indeed has many wonders! who says there were just 7???? Between Jesus and Barnabas, people chose Barnabas….when people are brain washed, you can only marvel at their decisions!
As a Zambian voter , I have every right to question and critically scrutinize every aspiring would be President of Zambia. Pro Chirwa undoubtedly has excelled very well in his field and reading his writings in the area of his field is very inspiring. As for having charisma and ability to move both the elite in other fields and common man , there is work to be done. Sata 2011 presidential election at 75 years old given his long political history since the 1970s he will be too exhausted. HH should seriously consider image builders. As a voter……thus my view.
#69, yes we have every reason to be worried about Sata, because there are evidently enough people failing to see through his populist rhetoric who may vote him into power. I am yet to be be convinced of any positive change someone who was once Chiluba’s right-hand man can bring to Zambia. Do people not understand that the last thing we need right now are smooth-talking, crowd stirring politicians, but people who can actually do a good job? When are we going to demand some meaningful changes in the political arena and start supporting younger candidates with new ideas and broader visions for the country? The good intentions of older politicians will in my opinion, be limited by lack of…
exposure and new ideas. We should not be electing people whose sole profession is that of being a politicians. We must first and foremost, elect educated and highly-skilled people, of which Zambia has plenty of currently developing other countries because of our politicial nonsense – engineers, economists, entrepreneurs, lawyers etc.
Indeed educated leaders are required , who value and are able to appreciate professionals as the corner stones of development. This, would be leader of Zambia will not work alone .He will need a team to work with ,people that wont boot lick and hero worship. I do not know whether Pro chirwa has that support in MMD??? If he has well and good otherwise there is work for him to do .People should not cheat him , I would advise him to go home now
All you children stop this wahala. Sata is a nice man and democracy is best viewed as a competition for power by means of regular elections hence lets wait for 2011 elections
bobobobo , it seems like these youths they were hired
Democracy based on manipulation , people`s ignorance of true characters of candidates, some times election rigging is no democracy at all. In 1991 , any wannabe could have been president, 1996 UNIP boycotts the constitution is manipulated,2001 Political Engineer at it, 2006 somewhat free ( for fear ,limited choice ) , 2008 the marriage of all sorts ……….when do we have a leader of our choice??? My thoughts
Wiseman, given the internal wrangles RB is facing at the moment, I personally don’t think the MMD offers any realistic hopes of advancing Prof. Chirwa as its candidate, but I could be wrong. I’d prefer to see him join forces with HH, which might help expand HH’s tribal platform as well.
Citizen, There are many possibilities , the MMD might use Pro Chirwa to unit the party as they might fail to pick an insider from NEC. On the other hand joining UPND, it may take humility as who takes the lead to plot one .UPND got divided in 2006 because someone new was brought on board. In whichever way time is of essence for all the three major political parties , namely MMD , PF and UPND.
…………is sata the only man who can deliver?????????. Or is it that u have no better options???
PF is one show.
#78, the best that Prof Chirwa can do is joing HH. In UPND, he will have an oppotunity to work with people of like minds and competencies. Imagine a cabinet with Prof Chirwa, HH, Fundanga, Magande, Masebo, Criticles Mwansa, this Dambisa Moyo wants, why not?….surely Zambia would start to move…..but then, these are just my wishes…..
If only wishes were horses!
Unfortunately wisehs are wishes. Otherwise the poorest would be riding in Zambia. lol! I love LT. It makes people wish.
You’re right Wiseman, and that’s the reason why we’ll again have about at least 10 political parties contesting the elections in 2011…. everyone wants to be in plot 1.
The way you do things? [-x
TEACHER:good morning class
CLASS:good morning sir

KAMBONGOLO:it is to habour an illusion that MR SATA will ever become president of zambia
TEACHER: walipena mwaiche iwe.
Not funny at all. Try next time yekapondo.
Who paid these youths? lets give sata a last chance mwebantu, just this once puliz. coz if he steps down MMD will forever reamain in power
#80,Bo Wisemanfimo fimo, Zambia has to wait for the right man to surface. No shoving/manipulation by party cadres to influence the public to vote for their leader will ever work . Regionalism or not, people have a right to their choices. At the moment Zambians are making do with ‘peace’ as their voting right.(They say the lion can eat grass if there is no animal left in the bush)… All the 2008 presidential candidates are not worth their salt. not at all , none of them, maybe and except Gen. Miyanda , that is maybe…..
By the way Bo wiseman fimo fimo…I am non partisan and I am not Bemba either. lol.
No way, let SATA continue, more free comedy assured with his continuation.
Who else will make us feel jolly good as he does? Who else has the audacity to climb into a bath tub in full view of the public, later on pretend that he is the twin brother of OBAMA? NO CHANCE, I SAY LET HIM CONTINUE, I cant afford to lose this kind of comedy.
I mean, who else can coerce full grown men to part with thier yet received income for the sake of a halucinatory prize? Let PF continue, viva PF, viva comedy VIVA.
Who else has the capacity to weave out a sense of euphoria, creating pies in the skies, capable of glueing his audience with his dupe? No way, I cant miss that kind of comedy!
I mean, GUY SCOTT enjoys him and cant afford to do without him. I cant do without him either.
Is it me or everyone sees it, SATA’s head is outgrowing the rest of his body, is he turning into something else or what?

I have failed to distiguish between him and his cobra of late. Is it him or it.
the day will come when instead of a word, a hiss will blurt out from his mouth. Watchout, for poisonous saliva!
Kindly tell those crazy hired youths by MMD to leave sata along and join MMD before nshilafulwa!!!!
check out the cobra at his office desk.
Chacine ulikapondo.
It`s amazing how certaion parties have more support on LT than the votes they get when it comes to elections. Unfortunately the trend looks to continue. Roll on 2011. Another term for RB! Way to go babe. Amigo!
Prepare for hard times ahead!
Again I ask why always talk about Sata? Its democracy and no one has been stopped from forming a political party. Every person in Zambia is at liberty to do so. If Sata has his PF , let him be with his PF. If some one has seen that PF and Sata are nothing why should this be a matter? One will die with pain just coz of Sata. Zambians have eyes to see how evil Sata is. But they vote for him and always elections are rigged against him…indeed you have felt his weight and impact which I suppose you are always troubled about in your sleeps. I guess you spend sleepless nights thinking about Sata.
They are being used and these are cheap politics.Who do they want to be their president?Shame on them. Its so sad Lusaka Times has even published these thugs’ baseless ,uncalled for utterances against Mr.Sata.They are just being used.Thats Zambian politics at the moment.Somebody tries to put check and balances for Rupiah’s administration they say his corrupt. Its so unfortunate.May we as Zambians please try to reason and do whats better for our country and not just getting a few dollars and you open your mouth wide just to discredit development.
2011 third again! Prepare for hard times ahead!
Its a fact that the real threat to the ruling Government is Sata. Its a fact that Zambian work culture needs a bit of dictation for things to move. We need a charismatic leader for work to be done in Zambia. Like it or not Sata has a proven record of being a good minister, what will stop him from being a good president? Its a fact that age is catching up with him.remember Mandela ruled South Africa at 75.The truth is God knows who the next Zambian president will be. You all have your opinions to express and you are fully entitled to it.
ELECTIONS ARE NEVER RIGGED IN ZAMBIA AND NO VOTES HAVE EVER BEEN STOLEN FROM SATA.YOU SATA’SYMPATHISERS JUST NEED TO CLEAR THE MYTH THAT ZAMBIA EVOLVES AROUND BEMBA SPEAKING AREAS AND URBAN LUSAKA WHICH HAS BEEN INFILTRATED BY THE KABOVA IMMIGRANTS WHERE COMRADE SATA IS POPULAR.IMMEDIATELY YOU ACKNOLEDGE THE FACT THAT SATA CAN NOT WIN IN SOUTHERN,WESTERN,NORTH-WESTERN,EASTERN AND CENTRAL APART FROM KABWE URBAN.AN NORTHERN WILL BE SPLIT BETWEEN THE BEMBAS FOR SATA AND THE NAMWANGA AND MAMBWES WHO ARE ANTI.IT WILL HELP YOU UNDERSTAND WHY YOUR DEAR SATA MAN STANDS LITTLE CHANCE OF BECOMING PRESIDO.BY THE HASN’T HE GOT A FARM WHERE HE CAN RETIRE AND START WRITING HIS MEMMOIRS
SO THAT PEOPLE…
This is the most sensible talk that has come from any PF member in a VERY LONG TIME!! Its the only way forward if PF are going to get into government. Well done Mr Lombe
BA LT nabamituma.
Akapondo 111….Are you not ashamed of yourself. Who is talking about tribalism here. Kambongolo is talking about the facts on ground. You call Sata evil but people vote for him. You call him uneducated but he beats the most educated people in elections. I can imagine how you live in mental pain and torture coz of one man Sata. Check the statistics at CSO, do they confirm that urban areas have bembas in the majority? Does speaking bemba mean majority of he bembas in urban areas? Know that in Zambia bemba is just like English that is used as official language for communication. I think Zambians have found it easier and fitting to use bemba as a quasi – official language. And no one can…
114 conts
And no one can change it coz it has happened naturally. Know that languages evolve. Every country has got its own major language . Grow up man.
Its really shame that we have so many youths today who are uncultured, immoral and unprincippled.
Kambongolo walasa. I we we chipondo walipena get the facts right and know the Zambian politics well
Its really shame that we have so many youths today who are uncultured, immoral and unprincippled. They are easily bought with just a few pieces of silver, then used and discarded like a cheap piece of chitenge material.Look at Cosmo,Silaupwa and LIfwefimofimo to mention but a few they are a total disgrace to this generation.Lombe is another new jocker,he is asking a leader of a biggest opposition party to step down, which could be a noble thing to do,but look at the reasons he has given us.There is definately no substance at all. These are old UNIP tactics of trying to silence and disorganise the opposition.LOMBE SHOULD SHUT UP.HE IS A STINKING ID**T.
who is talking about chirwa. who is chirwa by the way? some of you , just write in this colum to show dullness instead of confusing things that affects our people. the bottow line is that sata believes no one can rule zambia than a bemba president!!!!!. it is the perception to the other provinces such as luapula, nothern, copperbelt. if you went to school you will agree with me if you are the same kaponyas. if sata and HH agree one of them to contest, MMD could be history come 2011, but chimuntu chanu chi banda, will continue distroying you. HH must be president, sata vice president and minister without portipolio. that way we could be talking.
KIzito I doubt people will take you seriously with that kind of icisungu.lol!
Prepare for hard times ahead.
HH will indeed be president but not because you guys want him to, in 2011. Its not then that he will be president. His time is coming I did not like it but i saw it and it has happened. I, mind you, am not even HH supporter but he will be president after yet again another MMD term.
Roll on 2011 and 2016. MMD will not let go. I can put my money on it.
The problem is sata. if this old man can talk with HH. I think things can different in 2011.
3RqU you said to me people will not take me seriously with my glammar, are you working as care worker in UK champ……..who can not see that sata is not a presidential material.
That`s even worse Kizito. I am not a care worker. I am a bin man. lol!
Kizito you should respect yourself okay!
what is a problem chewe !!!!! respect yourself charpsss…..aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
am from tanzania where good president is chosen, not this rotten teeth of yours sata…..see u..
KAMBONGOLO,you have got a very big ailment.logic eludes your small mind always.i just outlined the voting patern in zambia and i was only being factual.ok let me admit that tribe also plays a part in zambian elections that’s why HH only wins in southern province.Agenda for zambia president the AKA only won in western province.RB is too strong in eastern province SATA can win in nothern but not in Nakonde,Isoka, mbala and Mpulungu and in all SATA with or without rigging can win.i know it realy grinds you inside and am happy it does.yes the man can beat some educated people during elections but with your small brain and minute level of understanding of what you so call issues on the ground.do you think zambian polls are issue based or are they about any credibility? if they were,…
The truth is that PF cannot survive without Sata. PF actually needs Sata, quite frankly. On the other hand, SATA will never gain enough votes to be President. And that is the honest truth. The reason is because of his track record and many people have not forgotten that, even if they don’t talk about it loudly…they speak quietly through their votes at every election. Even Sata himself knows about this and he probably regrets some of that past history. However, I think that what has gotten Sata in a lot of mess is that many people do not understand his sense of humor. A lot of things he has said in the past were pure humor but spoken to the wrong crowd and at the wrong time. Unfortunately, he has to pay for that and that is life!! Sata is a good man just misunderstood by a lot of…
I think the idea that SATA should stand for presidency again in 2011 smacks of desperation. Doesn’t PF got other younger fresher and viable people? Only a dull chap can vote for him! We have a lot of other fresher people to vote for in Zambia. He better listen to his PF people and not be in a state of denial. NOBODY in Zambia is indispensable. Any way I don’t care, I’m not a PF member. Whatever! The problem with PF and UPND is that they are both behaving like religions or churches where Sata and HH are the Gods. Guys that era is gone! MMd is weak and ready to be knocked off, but alas, the opposition is still busy wa***king!!!
KAMBONGOLO, KAMBONGOLO, zambian polls are not issue based neither are they about credibility.because if they were, pretenders who have a past janjaweed character wouldn’t have been coming close.but because they are about populism that’s why a character can butcher you, support the most corrupt system the country has ever seen.kneel before and prop up a ka tin pot dictator like ka FTJ,then turns around and present himself as a presidential candidate and you fools are there readily accepting him.turning him from villain to instant hero.shame upon you and on any interlectual platfoam young HH surpases SATA by far.
RB re-elected in 2011. The whole hatred the opposition show against each other just works perfectly for RB. Prepare for hard times to come.
There is no way Sata can win looking at the way people have voted the last three elections. A waste of time to think UPND can win. On the other hand, MMD are the lesser of the devils! Cuts through the tribe barrier!
AKAPONDO.
Thanks for your insults. In fact its true I have very small brain as you have observed. But the truth remains that the uneducated , evil Sata has confounded you highly educated people. This means Sata’s uneducation is better than your education. Because if education makes good leaders than managers, then you would have undone Sata but this you have failed. Kambongolo will be watching in terraces at the folly of the educated.
This is clearly another desperate effort by the MMd to try and de-stablise the PF Political party. If these youths were serious they would have undertaken a more diplomatic approach to the whole issue and conduhcted themselves in a manner that would in the end lead to a democratic decision in the party. Anyway it is clear to everyone that the president is a desparate man at the moment for he has no visible ideas of his on for the progression of our motherland and hence he and his team are now employing uunderhand tactics to rid themselves of competition. We need a strong government and this one has to surely go. These uneducated youths have probably been bribed, a typical occurance in our country.
You can not say sata is good man. remember well what sata did during third term debate.
are you new in this colum charp. sata is a snake……uneducated, smoker, many wives…
be informed that sakwiba left PF becoz he saw he was cheated by sata. the man you say is good in your eyes….nerver trust sata, he is popular to his bemba speaking provinces, I would love MMD rule than sata. what new ideas sata can bring, he was in politics for over 30 years.
this is the man you want to bring change…!!!! look at your self, you are pathetic you know charp.
shut your beck.. who appointed sata those position you are mentioning? is it not his few bemba chiluba and a thieves. kaunda just gave this thug of yours governor and nothing else.
if sata was coming from other tribes, how do you think, could have been by now. shut up!!!!!
No way, Bemba is not the mos popular language spoken in Zambia. As usual the alkative Bembas would have us believe a lie! I foe one dont understand Bemba a all. Go o eatern, southern, western, provinces and find out what language is spoken by the majority. Bembas like hallucinating indeed.
The vast majority of Lusaka dwellers speak a language oher han Bemba. The only problem is tha Bembas are loud speakers, like SATA. Sata would have us believe hat he is popular but facts on the ground have proved him wrong three times. If you listen wihout thinking, you could easily be duped by these PF people. Pa kamwa ba PF. I have come across many such fellows who try to paint a igger han real picture of almos everyhing. Try alking about a car, a FIAT 131 and if you have never seen one, they will paint it with much elation into an H2 hammer. Bembas are just too talkative for nothing.
sata lost elections becoz, he goes to north-western province and speaks bemba, he thinks everyone knows what he is talking about!!!!! sata thinks that bemba is the major laguage and use it to other provinces, he is limiting his changes of votes, exactly what happened. I told you long ago that sata and HH can emrge, but how, they believe bemba speaking provinces always brings change but it wrong motives, join hand and appoint HH as the president to show that i=he is true national leader, other wise prepare for another kaponya riots…..or appoint lubinda…
It is very unfortunate that SATA has managed to bring a level of regionalism into he Zambian Politics. SATA is simply for Bembas and the reason they support him is to have the pride hat even the Bembas have managed to have a President. If people were honest enough, that is the honest truth. But it aught not to be like that. There is surely nothing positive ha sata can bring to zambia. To e lieve that he can is simply to be deluded. Just look at issues and not tribe.
Reason to vote MMD then. Well done Zambians for voting RB. Please do the same again in 2011, 2016 and beyond.
#143. 3RqU How are you my brother? Please don’t talk like that you will make not to go back to my beautiful country,Iam looking forward to a day when we will no longer be ruled by MMD> I really tired of this govt.I know leadership comes from God but this one yeve Iam tired mwe.
Lombe, his colleagues and the PF rebel members of parliament should form their own party or resuscitate PUD instead of trying to push Mr. Sata out of PF. Mr. Sata has worked extremely hard to get PF where it is. The rebel MPs campaigned against Mr. Sata and are very unpatriotic.
I’m impressed that many bloggers see through Sata’s populist rhetoric. #131, Akapondo. You’ve hit the nail on the head.
Firstly Sata is PF and PF is Bashikulu Sata. I just hope te Undereducate continues leading PF/Sata so that I can enjoy listening to his political comedy. Otherwise, I need to see the Undereducate to lose clean again in 2011 elections. Also, let elections in PF/Sata determine whether he leaves the position of leader or not. Otherwise, when he shall decide to help Zambia make progress let the Undereducate disband PF/Sata and join the mighty UPND as a cadre. This way he will help Zambian politics to progress in the right direction.
LOMBE you are man of the week.i like your courage not even winter kabimba given lubinda or bonaventure mutale can tell the old man to pass it on to the new generation let alone to tell him to face an election.PF makes democracy look like a mockery.imagine no organ of the party has ever undertaken an election yet they parade their president in democratic elections.and suprising enough they even have a following.you get comfused as to weather you are the one who is dull and does not understand the meaning of democracy or the other way round.you know what i mean.
The fact still remains that the uneducated Sata has confounded the educated and they are now in their final convulsion as they don’t know what to do next. MMD has MPs in Luapula and Northern. In fact the votes are just shared but look at southern, is there any MMD MP there? So, which province vote on tribal lines? Just go hang , the Man you always talk about does not hold the key to presidency. As educated as you are why cant you find a winning formula? Its really sad that you will are even getting thin coz of your being obsessed with Sata. Let me smile at these life failures …hahahahahahahahah .,,
To those bloggers who constantly denounce aspiring presidential candidates like Clive Chirwa for not knowing Zambia’s problems because they live abroad. If you read the article on Dambisa Moyo, you would see that international exposure can only benefit Zambia. She’s in tune with the larger picture by virtue of having been out of the country….. bloggers are quick to praise her, but just as quick to cry foul when Prof. Chirwa shows an interest in contesting the presidency. These are the kinds of people we need in government, and not populist politicians stuck in old, narrow-minded paradigms who cannot take us anywhere meaningful. Get over yourselves and look at the bigger picture. Zambia’s problems are bigger than Sata, and bigger than the bloggers here on LT, and they need big minds,…
in tune with our globalised world, to solve them..
Let 2011 elections results teach the Undereducate and his supporters that undemocratic tendencies are not welcome in Zambia any more. Otherwise, welcome on the Zambian political scene Prof. C. Chirwa and I am there to support all educated Zambians to carry the Nation to another development level. Join the hard working president HH and the UPND to offer real oppositon Prof to the President RB Banda Administration in any way possible even by coming up with your own political party and just let the PF die a natural death by supporting their unneeded undemocratic practices since their coming into being by the Undereducate Bashikulu M. Sata.
Citizens #150 ,Yes we need them in the country and govt as technocrats not presidents , find the book by peter Williams called the wreath for udumo. some one who , stayed and lived away from home for many years and wants to be president and returned home…. only to be a total misfit in a turbulent environment different from Europe …..
Bro Maestro , welcome back fro holy worship……..
Yes Wiseman, the same can be said of Kamuzu Banda, but education does not necessarily impute autocratic tendencies. Limiting them purely to technocracy will continually ensure that the only time many of them are engaged is through national indabas, rather than absorbed into government. What we need is a complete overhaul of our system, and some new people in every sector of government to get the machinery working at its optimum level. @Maestro – why not get in touch with your leader and propose that he start contacting Prof. Chirwa now. Perhaps they can form an alliance in the run up to the next elections. That will be one powerful combination, and provided PF lose some of its political mileage, I’ll certainly be casting my vote in that direction.
NIPA BWATO FYE!!!!
you chaps, do not say pabwatoooo….you are pa ….idots..with your rotten teeth… bemba thieves..
KIZITO!!!!!!
Now you have resorted to insulting the bembas as thieves. I fail to understand you guys. There is corruption in RB, there was corruption in LPM. Since in these two gonvts names of those involved in corruption are not bembas, the fight against corruption is dragging. Dora, Mabenga, mwanaumo, etc, these are not thieves coz they are not bembas?. Come on guys !What a fight against corruption? You hate Sata for no reason at all. Since Sata is uneducated why cant you the educated take over Zambia? Know that leadership qualities are not correlated to education, but managerial qualities are. This is the difference you educated chaps have failed to assimilate. I can assure you that if you continue ranting like this, the old people will be ruling Zambia till Jesus comes…….Fallen…
Fallen are the undereducated Zambians who just rant and have failed to come up with concrete formula for winning elections.
Kambongolo Do you think SATA can bring about a difference? You are simply tribesmates and that is why you support him. Look at his CV and you will agree that he is the wrong type of leader. Soon, mark my words, even the Kaponyas, especially in Lusaka will not back him. They know what he is. The duping that they have been subjected to will not linger any more. The reason that good people fight this SATA particulary is the capabillity to hoodwink the weak minded of our society and the unexposed with his rhetorical garb. The Lusaka Kaponyas are definitely are sharper than their counterparts on the CB and it is just a matter of time, they will come around and see SATA for who he really is.
Kambongolo The majority of sata’s supporters are Bemba and that is simply the fact. They careless what his CV is and will support him regardless. This is very dangerous for our Democracy and it is encumbered upon every good citizen across all political parties, including PF to fight him.
Look at SATA’s arrongance, he dares to use Bemba in Lusaka where the majority speak nyanja. He dares to speak Bemba in NW province when the majority dont use it. The same in other provinces. Most Bembas back him for one reason only- tribe. There has never been a shallower Politician in Zambia as SATA and yet he has support, why? The answer of course is Tribe. This SATA was supporting the third term bid of chiluba and how on earth has he become a hero? ( He is a hero to his tribemates only). For this reason alone, if he wishes to continue to stand, he will ever lose.
The horrible nature of tribalism as exhibited in SATA’s PF be loathed by all. Look at that insane Priest in Mwewa, what else motivates him to support SATA besides being tribes mates with him? Check the bloggers who openly support him even on this LT site. Kambongolo, chewe, matworld, chale and whoever else, they are all Bemba and they dont hide this fact. This is tribalism at its worst.
This open alliance based on tribe in PF should be condemned by all Zambians including balanced and democratic Bembas.
The idiocity of believing that one tribe is better than the other must be condemned by all peace loving Zambians.
Yaku Mayo!!! Who are the PF youths? Zambian cheap politics of political anyandule! So this is how cheap the chap called Frank Lombe is up stairs???
SweetZED
Are you not Bemba as well?
chewe stop writing in this colum…. if you keep on I will scan your ip direction and trace you to teach you a lesson…
chewe, respect your self, you are bemba charps, supporting this rotten teeth. let him rule northen, luapula and cb. not any other province.okay……..chewe you need new tyr man. u should know that people in zambia are suffering becoz of this tribal politics.it is becoz of this rotten teeth is trying to bring in our country!!!! you try to bring this type of brains in this blog charp…I wish I know you…..you are dead meat charp….
154 wiseman-reborn thanks. Sorry, I had to travel home from my earlier posting place and hence my delay in responding. keep well.
155 Citizen which leader are you referring to on “@Maestro – why not get in touch with your leader and propose that he start contacting Prof. Chirwa now. Perhaps they can form an alliance in the run up to the next elections. That will be one powerful combination, and provided PF lose some of its political mileage, I’ll certainly be casting my vote in that direction”?
It you are writing about president HH, he already had a meeting with Prof. C. Chirwa and even the PF leader unless I am mistaken. This took place some time last year I think. So, just keep your ear to the ground and you will get the whole truth.
“158 Kambongolo, on “Know that leadership qualities are not correlated to education, but managerial qualities are.” this is COMPLETELY NOT true. Whatever the case, managers learn their skills from formal education. Leadership qualities are no where near managerial ones for leadership only provides a great direction for the benefit of all while the leader gives tasks to his subordinates to do them and ensure that those tasked to carry out the work do it accordingly ad promptly. On the otherhand, managerial qualifications and qualities are an added advanted to a leader if he happens to have them.
KIZITO, Zambians now know who are the real tribalists and so do not waste your time on this issue. Just help us teach those who are bent in this evil thing to be freed from it by showing good examples of love to them. Very soon they will come round and join us who are doing a great job for Zambia.
you must arest sata….very soon zambia will be a war zone country, becoz of the so called sata.
so called big tribe, look at the other country like sudan, rwanda , ivory coast and many other country becoz of having politician like sata……
I surport Maestro,Kizito and Fein Viva HH
@171 Maestro. Yes, I meant HH. I thought that would be a given since I’m not aware of you supporting anyone else. Anyway, I would be ecstatic about some sort of coalition between the two. Hopefully, they’ll also keep a firm grip on weeding and keeping out opportunistic, party-jumping politicians who would want to join the party once it becomes formidable.
i really wonder what people see in this old serpent called sata. zambia need to move forward and not backwards. what can sata bring to this new economic world? whether the youths were sponsored or not, what they are saying is the truth. this old crocodile has to retire and give way to young fellows in PF.
Thanks all for writing to me or about me, for I am humbled.
176, Citizen, great stuff. On my soc-alled support for president HH, I would like to clarify that I do not support him alone. I am just interested in giving the truth that the Zambian Media (especially Government and the POST) does not give all Zambians about HH and the UPND.
Otherwise, I am known as someone who supports everyone in their respective capacities. For example, I support the Undereducate Sata in his capacity as a Grade 6 school drop out who need to improve his formal education just like Mrs Maureen Mwanawasa wants to do a PhD although she will be conferred with an Honourary Doctorate this month by some university from USA.
178 continued.
I support the PF MPs of all sorts like Given Lubinda and Chishimba for even positions of one day being PF party presidents.
I have been in clear support of Prof C. Chirwa for he is educated enough to be able to reward educated Zambians with good wages that can motivate them if he is to be Zambian President.
Ialso give acknowledgement that the might UPND Team is the only strongest opposition political party in Zambia bearing in mind that it has 22 consistent MPs in parlaiment while the so-called biggest opposition PF has about 40 MPs of which around 30 MPs are termed rebel MPs which means it has only 10 MPs that are consistent with its party’s activities.
I also respect all Zambian in their respective capacities and not their tribe. One typical person I have…
What ever names you may call the bembas…it is now well known fact that the fight against corruption was and is for the bembas. All tribes in Zambia are corrupt but ACC and TF are quick to hunt the bembas than any other tribe.
Tribal voting has been shown in black and white in southern province for the four consecutive elections but you wonder how people say northern and luapula vote on tribal lines? Sata gets a big share of votes in Lusaka and copperbelt…..all its bembas voting for him. What horrible folly is in you guys. We need good leaders of course but this will not come if you continue harboring this unfounded hatred on one person. Its democracy, undo Sata in a democratic manner …not through hatred of his tribesmen. No, this will not work I can assure you.
177, linda, I would like to address your “i really wonder what people see in this old serpent called sata” in the following simple way. Most Zambians were convince by the POST for a long time as it released itself as a printer of GOSPEL TRUTH news with its associations with many churches and some powerful foreign groupings. This has created a situation were many people read Daily Mail and a Times of Zambia just for the sake of seeing what is contained therein, but accepted whatever the POST issued. However, the bubbling of more transparent news media outlets especially the electronic media has provided Zambians with an opportunity to get fast information on who is who. This means that the much sought after CHANGE of GRZ ruling party by Zambians which almost saw the Undereducate M. Sata…
177, linda, this means that the much sought after CHANGE of GRZ ruling party by Zambians which almost saw the Undereducate M. Sata into State House by serious Image Rehabilitation done by the POST will not work easily in the 2011 tripartite elections, simply because the POST is slowly but surely losing credibility with all the recent cases that have arisen. Hence, support I see former Sata support which only rose by the death of UPND’s Anderson Mazoka will go to someone else especially president HH who peole have now seen as noble after the POST did serious mud throwing on him after he won the UPND 2006 presidential elections. I write so because Zambian people now know president HH by themselves and not by being feed useless data by the media especially the POST. So, join in the winning…
So, join in the winning team of technocrates and leave the Undereducate in his current state of being a Zambian political exclude after he lost 3 country presidential elections in a roll.
With the likes of Prof C. Chirwa and the Dambisa Moyo’s releasing data which many Zambians never knew but will be proud of, Zambia is set into a great road to normalcy as the tribalsits are left to wonder and join us let on when they will be convinced by the TRUTH.
On an interesting note, PF MPs Jean Kapata (Mandevu) and Mumbi Phiri (Munali) have castigated the Youth Leadership of PF in Mandevu as being backed by ‘rebel’ PF MPs and also challenged the people behind the moves announced by Mr Lombe to come out in the open respectively. Also, the Undereducate himself asked the PF Youth Leaders to sue him and report him to the relevant authorities over alleged misuse of party funds. He has mantained that “he will not to step down”. Mr. Sata associated the campaign against his leadership of PF, without having elections since patry inception in 2001, to some PF rebel members of parliament. This has been reported by MUVITV.
Maestro can make a good leader.Viva Maestro,Maestro for president.
Maestro Hhehhehhehhe for president. The man is educated Physician, and he can bring a lot of divelopment.Viva Maestro,Kizito for Vice President.
185, 186, Tonga Bull thanks and I am humbled. On “The man is educated Physician, and he can bring a lot of divelopment”, I am actually a PHYSICIST by formal education but rightly also a PHYSICIAN by using LOVE as portrayed in the Holy Scriptures’ 10 commandments of God to humans that bring in a health life to all those that accept to follow our Creator’s instructions for He is our designer.
With these few words, surely, it is fitting having Maestro for Zambia now and in the future. have a blessed day.
Physicians are medics like me not physicists( though there are great people ) …there is great ignorance to of most Zambians , which translates to our voting pattern , based on misinformation, but not factual truth ,, please can the young rule regardless of tribe not the old , yes not the old …..
Honestly, what else can sata do apart from politics? He doesnt have a farm at that age. He is only known for his movements from from one court room to the other. From the POST newspaper offices to the PF secretariat. From one wife to the other. What kind of a human being is this? Yet he wants to be a president for Zambia. God forbid!
LONG Overdue Lets face it bane SATA is tired and needs to rest.Do you tell me that PF soes not have any intelligent person like winter kabimba/Given Lubinda or Chiti mukiuku to take over SURELY??
Those matero youths need our surpport.
Bamundala batushi, its long overdue. We need flesh minds like those of HH,chirwa,Dr Dambiso,Fundanga, Mangande to mention but a few.FACT:Sata wil never be President,why-because they are no Bemba Kaponyas and Kambovas in western ,Southern ,North-western and Eastern provinces to vote for him.Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
Makes me laugh. But the man will be second again in 2011. Third as always-UPND.
3Rqu,yes i agree with you.Sata is so popular thats why people talk about him.He has caurage.Thats why he always comes number two. These young people like Chirwa,HH must be seroius for 2011 other wise king cobra will be number two and people will still be morning.
If the global crunch has really hit Zambia, they should have been no money going round to pay these groupings to attack ba Sata and calling for him to step down. It is a shame one to hold such indaba and invite many credible people while misusing money to pay out to cadres and other young men to write articles to discredit other people and all that try to advise the govt. There is BIG MONEY! Zambians watch OUT! Now with this hunger who is going to refuse such offers if people with money already can fall for this temptation!!!! Especially the youths be careful these guys are just swaying you away from serious business that could take you further and lead this nation. But how can YOU when you are running for these carrots being dangled (tempting you with a plate of porridge!)
193 . Tonga Bull, was the Undereducate MC Sata number 2 in the 2001 presidential elections? What does the word ‘always’ mean? In case you do not know:
The table below shows the results of the 2001 elections as compiled by the ECZ:
Tilyenji C Kaunda UNIP 175,898 10.1
Gwendoline C Konnie SDP 10,253 00.6
Anderson K Mazoka UPND 472,697 27.2
Dr Inonge Mbikusita-Lewanika AZ 9,882 00.6
Godfrey K Miyanda HP 140,678 08.1
Dr Nevers S Mumba NCC 38,860 02.2
Levy P Mwanawasa MMD 506,694 29.1
Benjamin Y Mwila ZRP 85,472 04.9
Michael C Sata PF 59,172 03.4
Dr Yobert K Shamapande NLD 9,481 00.5
Christon S[sic: Christone] Tembo FDD 228,861 13.2
as given by the Zambianwatchdog on there website.
Clearly the Undereducate Mr MC Sata was the 7th placed an not number 2. So, please, stop living in a world of non realistic news but follow truth according to the way it is. The same way same obtained support in Lusaka by the death of then UPND president A. Mazoka, someone may take his Lusaka support even when he is still alive in the 2011 tripartite elections especially that the Lusaka people have realised that the newspapers have been manipulating data to make some characters win support which they clearly do not deserve while they have promised president HH that they will vote for him.
Then lets wait and see what happens in 2011! I can not see anything changing. I love Zambians. One can not force them to do what they don`t want. Only Zambians know what`s best for them. Of course I appreciate they do not want another Rwanda. Keep it the way it Zambians-PEACE. Hope we see the same pattern of voting again. As long as peace prevails!
192 3RqU, on your “Makes me laugh. But the man will be second again in 2011. Third as always-UPND” and later “Keep it the way it Zambians-PEACE. Hope we see the same pattern of voting again. As long as peace prevails!” on 197; thanks for recognising the truth and stopping the way of trying to cheat people who know more statistical recorded information. It is nice that you responded while to education that I have provided you on Sata and his not being number always in Zambian elections. Have a great day and PEACE.
Third again!
kizito get that arrogant neopotic rubish out of your head. you seem to be very short sighted and you also tend to focus your thoughts way too much on hind-sight. look yes sata might not be the best of candidates out there but for the love of my country i would rather he be president than the incapable man that is in the seat now. a president needs vision, needs goals and saddly for us the current presidents were to become president and nothing more after that. so please wake up and smell the coffee and do some ready please because then you will realise that the man leading your country was at the healm when a certain bank he was head of collapsed and he was also in massive debts before becoming president and how can a man who does not have order in his house rule a country.
then you go on to attack sata’s so called many wives. well if i may ask is this a crime in our beautiful country? i for one does not condone but why should it be an issue because he is in the political lime light at the moment. see that is you straying from what is of importance at the moment. look you seem to have been brain washed and had the ideas of tribalism deeply imbedded in you which is really saddening indeed. but please wake up and take a look around. then let me know what good has come of the current government. all we see is in house bickering. its really sad because how can you have a party that can not voice out against their leader, isnt that a dictatorship? funny enough i see you support it with open arms. maybe you love queing up for hours just to get a bag of sugar…
