Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations Amos Chanda says President Edgar Lungu intends to make a state visit to India in the near future to tap into the country investments.

Mr. Chanda says the Head of State is impressed with the quality of Indian investments in various economic sectors of Zambia.

He says the country’s geo- political interest is to get maximum investments from India.

And Zambia’s High Commissioner to India Judith Kapijimpanga says an Indian company Nava Bharat Ventures Limited intends to venture into sugar plantation in Luena Farm Block of Kawambwa in Luapula Province.

  1. Just come back with some Bombay Sapphire Boss … thats what you are probably good at. Thank you

    • The bottom line is to reduce unemployment rate to a single digit by 2020. We want zambians to give us another mandate in order to make our country the best in Africa.

    • Somehow I get happy for Edgar when he go away from Zambia, with Mumbi Phiri, Dora and Maggy.
Inonge gets chance to have productive cabinet meetings.

  2. Why do we have ZDA? This Utterly Lazy Sausage is just looking another all in one holiday…medical, luxury, erotic etc
He has no shame whatsoever…no shame

    • It is all about allowances. Lungu does not get his $100,000 over 3 days allowance when he is vexing at State House about HH. He needs Mickey Mouse foreign visits to justify getting those allowance.

  3. Japan is the Nation that Zambia should be forever eyeing for investments. Frugal and honorable people the Japanese are.

    • True, but the Japanese are the most un-Bemba like people in the whole world. No PF leader aspires to learn anything from the Japanese. They prefer the safe and chaotic familiarity of Zimbabwe, Uganda or Sudan.

  4. Government should be inviting investment of innovative village level technology from countries like India to raise living standards among rural populations and in bilateral assistance request for educators in science based subjects.

  5. SIR. HOW MANY INVESTORS ARE WE GOING TO HAVE IN ZAMBIA? MAYBE MEDICAL DOCTORS YES SO THAT EVEN WE THE POOR CAN GO AND CONSULT AND GET TREATMENT.

  6. Lungu is going for personal Medical Treatment to India and running away from the HH Treason Fiasco. The pressures are high and the man wants to buy time in India leaving HH languishing in Jail. That is what u can expect from this Sadist? The man is obsessed with establishing a One Man Party Dictatorship and want to Rule Zambia with an Iron Fist forever. God will punish Lungu for mistreating HH and the co- accused. Time will tell.
