The Export-Import -EXIM- Bank of India has offered to advance an additional line of credit for the completion of the 650 health posts in Zambia.

EXIM Bank Chief General Manager, Nadee Panjetan says the bank is simply waiting for instructions from the Ministry of External Affairs of India.

He says loopholes have been sealed off to prevent a recurrence of the termination of contracts in future by choosing the right contractors.

The Chief General Manager, who was flanked by EXIM Bank Managing Director, David Rasquinha was speaking when he called on Zambia’s High Commissioner to India, Judith Kapijimpanga.

According to a statement availed to ZNBC News by First Secretary for Press at the Zambian Mission in India, Bangwe Navilley, this was at the Zambian Chancery in New Delhi.

And Mrs Kapijimpanga said Zambia appreciates the Indian government for extending the line of credit to construct health posts in the country, which have already started saving lives.

  1. So these Indian prefab clinics have not been completed…what happened to the original loan facility and they are willing to add on top.
Meanwhile you have some silly foools in govt wanting to invest a billion dollars of taxpayers money in the airline sector and busy window shopping for useless soviet passenger jets…no shame at all.

  2. awe sure in Zambia. is it a case of poor planning/projections? is it stealing at its best? is it a combination of these two factors?

  3. sO THIS is a health post worth to be commissioned by a VICE president of a COUNTRY? QUITE LAUGHABLE

  4. At least you can see the buildings which are being built not when we were being promised the light at the end of the tunnel.
