Chipolopolo coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has disclosed that he will be holding a high -level course for all top-tier goalkeeper coaches.
Zambia is in a goalkeeper transition period with no clear heir to Kennedy Mweene who has taken an international sabbatical.
“The first activity that we shall make once this covid-19 is done is that we shall have a course for goalkeeping coaches,” Micho said.
“It is a very crucial aspect because you cannot speak about goalkeeping coaching if goalkeeping coaches at their clubs are not at the required level.
“I have brought a goalkeeping coach that is one missing factor that has let down Zambian football so much. We have set up a Zambian football academy that will have an identity.
“This goalkeeping coach that I have brought Miroslav Istonic has set a very strong standard in five different countries that I do not want to speak about.”
Meanwhile, five goalkeepers have been tested in competitiveand friendly action since Mweene’s last appearence in November 2018 that has seen Green Eagles Sebastian Mwange and Toaster Nsabata of Zanaco prominent in that rotation.

Galu should learn from these foreign coaches, whenever they are given an opportunity they always bring another country men with them to be employed. But when Kalusha was at his peak he even made sure no other country men could compete with him no-wander he does not see eye to eye with likes of Charles Musonda, Emmanuel Munaile etc. Unfortunately for Kalu it is too late for him. The best he can do is dance some more dununa reverse in 2021 hoping PF can give him a job. Even small boys like Kalaba have made substantial investments.
Galu is big disappointment. He’s too selfish. He even failed to donate anything to his childhood club, Mufulira Wanderers! He doesn’t see eye to eye with Charles Musonda because Galu is very a very selfish and individualistic person! Look at young Sadio Mane, he has constructed a hospital in his home district. A small town in Senegal. He recently donated towards the fight against Covid-19 in his home country, Senegal. That’s the way it should be, to remember one’s roots! But for Galu its too late the hero!
@Manganga; how can u compare Sadii Mane and Kalu? You pipo when u hear of Kalusha Bwalya u think it was a person that for played for Euefa? The man was in Mexico all along & only featured here & there in Europe. That is a Copperbelt hero who chanced a player of the year award from scoring those corner free kicks.
