Nkana Chop Forest To Mainatin Good Start

Nkana maintained a bright start to the new FAZ Super Division campaign with a 3-2 win over Forest Rangers in Saturday’s away Week Two fixture in Ndola.

Albert Mwape opened the floodgates in a five goal thriller with a 16th minute goal before striker Reynold “Sate Sate” Kampamba converted a spot kick after he was brought down by Forest’s Jonas Phiri in the 24th minute.

Green Mumba pulled one back for Forest seconds before the half time break.

Nkana stretched their lead after 75 minutes with a headed goal by striker Festus Mbewe.

Second half substitute Spencer Sautu ensured that the early kickoff match at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium ended in dramatic fashion when scored Forest’s second goal on the nick of full time.

Nkana have streatched their tally to six points after a round of two matches in the new campaign.

  1. Nalelo Ba Nkana bawina.Nkana Nkana Kalampa that’s the way to go.GO NKANA GO.

  2. watched that match.
nkana need a holding midfielder in the ‘claude makelele’ making, otherwise they wont go far in this league.
you cannot be defending with your natural back four when under intense pressure as any slip up will definetely result into a goal… and thats exactly what happened when forest scored the second goal.
i had expected the coach to note and rectify the error committed by his midfielders but alas…
the typical zambian coaches, no imaginations whatsoever.

    • Right and some creative players. I was shocked the way Zesco played. No technical strength displayed. Just grt Fighton back before the team is disgraced more.

  3. go nkana ,you are the only o to say one of the teams in zambia who makes zambian football to be there in the world of football.lets come back to old days of our football ,pa ka red here we come.GO KALAMPA GO

  4. All days i dream about Nkana. This is our time, believe me you. We are beating Kalulushi Morden stars in the next game at Nkana good stadium to go to the top of the table and the league will end with Nkana on top.
