Chansa- Zambia will mix it with Japan

Zanaco midfielder Isaac Chansa believes Zambia will not disappoint in Friday’s friendly against Asian champions Japan.

Japan host Zambia in Tampa, Florida en route to Brazil for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

“Japan are a great team, they have got players who can change the game but I believe we do have players that can change the game for us,” Chansa said.

“We got the experience and with the mix that is there of 2012 and now, I know we will give Japan a good game. We had a good training programme, and all we need now is to go out there and play to win.”

Meanwhile, the 22-member Zambia team left for the United States on Tuesday afternoon ahead of the June 6 friendly.

This will be the two sides first-ever meeting.
