Zambia fall on FIFA rankings

Zambia heads to the 2015 Africa Cup placed 50th on the FIFA rakings after falling four places in January.

Honour Janza’s side is ranked number 11 in Africa after moving down from last month’s number 46 to 50 in the World.

Zambia was ranked 62 in November and 78 in October.

Meanwhile, Chipolopolo’s Group B rivals at the Africa Cup, Tunisia are placed 22nd in the World and second in Africa.

Cape Verde and DR Congo who are the other Group B teams are ranked 40th and 57th respectively.

Algeria is the best ranked team in Africa while World champions Germany tops the global ratings.

    • That’s because you are too lazy to calculate how these rankings are calculated. ..when your friends are strategically playing teams that highly ranked than them you go and play Galu’s team RSA so he can make a bit on the side.

  1. Those rankings don’t mean anything in Africa baba. At AFCON we’ll shine like my uncle’s bald head and everyone will be honking on Zambian streets!!!!
