Guinea down Zambia at CAF U17 Cup

Zambia have lost their debut match at the 2015 CAF Under-17 Cup that kicked off today in Niger.

The Junior Chipolopolo lost 1-0 to Guinea in Niamey in both sides opening Group A match on Sunday.

Defender Aboubacar Toure scored the game’s lone goal in the 26th minute.

Zambia are third in Group A after the defeat.

They play hosts and bottom placed Niger in their penultimate pool match on February 18.

Niger lost 2-0 to early Group A leaders Nigeria in the tournament opener in the early kickoff.
