Kanyanta salutes victorious Manyuchi

Zambia national boxing team coach Kennedy Kanyanta has hailed Lusaka based Zimbabwean boxer Charles Manyuchi for defending his World Boxing Council- Welterweight title.

Manyuchi defended his belt after defeating Italian Gianlucca Frezza in Italy on Saturday.

The Oriental Quarries boxer won via technical knock-out in the sixth round of the fight.

“It’s a sweet victory and so elating. I am so happy as it is always difficult to win outside your yard,” Kanyanta said.

He added:”The young boy is proving to the world that he has what it takes to be World champion one day.”

Kanyata further saluted Manyuchi’s handlers.

“Congratulationss to the Oriental Quarries Boxing Promotions management for this victory,” he said.

  1. All day I kept skipping over this article because I thought they were discussing Uhuru.

    Anyway, it’s still a useless article as boxing is a primitive sport.

  2. Lets go for the americans (Garcia,Lamont,Devon,Porter etc ) now Manyuchi..Thats when you’ll make serious Mulla $$$$ my Bro.Congrats on this one though.But please stop show boating during your fights,it’s disrespectful to your opponents and to the sport.

  4. Now the Zimbabwe Revenue Authourity heding on to Manyunchi’s passport they want a Trophy there are they the ones who were training him you can be surprised ,thts why Bembas say invest in yr own children .PROBLEMS.
