  1. that sounds great. a man whom almost everyone thinkto be violent is denouncing violence. thats a nice a move. keep it up. good luck to your candidate.

  2. Power really makes pipo drunk and hey!!Satana now is sober right !coz he’s not in power …hahahahahahaaaaaaaa….Firtsly, the same old cobra introduced violence in Zambian politics in 1990s…..just shut up coz you know u r losing the seat tata!

  3. its great to hear mr cobra is promoting peace in the forthcoming kanyama bye elections. I hope he is going to continue advocating for peace whether PF loses the elections.

  4. Ba #3 ala mwali fulwa sana bakamba!!hahahahahahaaaaaa….mulimpofu sana kwati tamwaishiba ati chishinka chocholi alelanda po.king cobra is very violent in all his dealings…even selection of candidates..

  5. Honourable Sata is doing a good job promoting peace. I remember in the aftermath of the announcement of last election results he was a major factor in ensuring that peace prevailed in the country. Even ZNBC went against all odds and aired a clip about the big man denouncing violence every 10 minutes on TV. No other leader did the same. A lot of Zambians credit him for this kind of spirit. But of course even views to the contrary (usually from non-objective Zand eternal antiz..)about the man should and are welcome. This is the essence of democracy.

  6. Country men and women, why do you use abusive language on each other? Be calm and support those advocating for peace and traquility in our country.
Stop insults pliz, but love your neigbour! we are brothers and sister share the same air,Country. If you not happy your brother commented or giving his opinion, advise him or her lovingly and brotherly by not using strong language! twapapata Ikaleni muchibote noo mutende! Lekeni ukutuka ensele, our children reads and it not ok mwandini!! be reasonable!
    Lets talk peace,eat peace,sing peace,walk peace behave peacefuly!…….

  7. People supporting Sata are simply not sincere. Everyone knows the type of character Sata is. The supporters of Sata are the same people who praised Chiluba and turned their backs when things were laid bare about his dealings in government. Sata is known to be a liar, a thug, a tribalist, a dictator and above all an advocate of violence. You need not go far into history to trace records of his misdeeds. Certainly in this day and time, Sata is a spent politician wasting Zambian resources and time.

  8. #9 I support you my brother.let’s learn to grow and come out the shell.Satana is not a well meaning politician in our times.we don’t need him right now!he acted like a child on Muvi TV lastnite.pliz erase him from our politics.let’s not support the bagger even when we know he can’t make a good president and he’s a total tribalist.

  9. Mwe bantu tamutasha kabili tamwaba nafisuma, the man is promoting peace in the country, you still condemn him. What do you want him to do or say? Do you want him to continue promoting violent through and through. Pipo change and the man has changed or he is on the road to change, give him a credit for once, men!

  10. Despite him being a hardcore tribalist, dictator, etc as someone has said but this time around let us give him credit for denouncing violence. I have never supported him mainly because he is a tribalist but on the issue of denouncing violence he is right.

  11. $13 Most political leaders are tribalist, HH came on as leader of UPND bcoz they wanted a tonga at any cost to lead that party and he supported it, is that not tribal. Look at chuchu’s govt, it is full of his tribe men (family tree). Saki’s party is full of his tribe men and women. The list is endless.

  12. #14 I did not say Mr Sata is the only tribalist among Zambian political leaders. Most of them if not all are. The only difference is that some of them practice tribalism more brazenly than others as a result it is not hard to notice such leaders. Of course some tone it down with the “tribal balancing” tag like was the case in the 2nd Republic.

  13. I have no problem allowing people to express their oppinions. It is wonderful, however, criticisms must be objective and founded on the truth. It is not enough just to pass comments about people, but to tell the truth about them.
For me, Sata has been very hard working as a minister of Health and of Local Gov’t. However, he is not perfect as much as other leaders are, those currently in power. Sata has got good intentions even though at times, his methods of carrying out such intentions betrays him. One needs to understand his personality. We thank him for promoting peace on our Land. Keep it up Ubaba Sata.

  14. In my view we must acknowledge that tribalism exist in Zambia, but Zambians have no stamina to face it head on. Once called a tribalist is like being smeared with shit and dash under the bed to hide. For a politician it is even worse, to clear himself of this shit requires large financial investment and time in campaigns. Tribalism has contributed greatly to underdevelopment of the country and in my view it is time we stop shying it away. In the above comments one thing comes out prominently – we acknowledge that the current political setups are actually tribal clubs (or groupings). Is Zambia going to let this trend at the cost of development and poverty alleviation- equal opportunities

  15. Contiuned from previuos submission

I would suggest that we tackle the issue of tribalism the way we have tackled other problems in the nation (corruption, aids, drug trafficking, money laundering etc). I know that the CRC will be mute on this but a commission significantly similar to “UK equal opportunities commission” must be set to smoothen tribal groupings and employment favours.

Now coming back to Sata, what worries me is how the inconsistence in Sata’s behaviour. Today he calls for peace, tomorrow he sends his cadres to roughen those who have crossed his path. There is simply nothing to believe about this man. He changes colours when it suits him.

  16. The call for protests especially coming from SATA is a shame! why do i say so, i dont understand him because during Mwnasas term at Zesco projects were in the pipeline for Zesco to construct new power stations and increase the power level in the country but did SATA and Chiluba heed to the suggestions. They used to milk Zescos cash for their personal benefits. Today after pool planining from 1991 one will start calling on demostrations. wheres the morality????

Otherwise demostrations would be good but being called by SATA aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah am not sure

  17. I agree with alot of you guys people behave as if we were not around during chilubas time in Power!!!!!!!!!the chap ahd over 28 MPs from Luapula and Northern Province. Satas party has over 30 Mps all from the same province, similarly UPND is damn Tonga….so lets not talk as if we dont know where we coming from. Its just that SATA is more tribal. Sources say when he was instructing Secretary to the Cabinet to take his nomination to Independence stadium he requested for a list of all Lozis and Tongas in high Govt positions………what do u think was the motive?
