Zesco United Stay on Course

Zesco United yesterday bounced back to stay on course to keeping their
league title defence ambitions alive after wining 3-0 away to
relegation threatened Chambishi.

Goals from striker Enoch Sakala, midfielder’s Kondwani Mtonga and
Clifford Chipalo in the 3rd, 32nd and 85th minutes of the match
respectively handed Zesco the 3 points.

Zesco, who last week suffered their first league defeat at home in two
years after Power Dynamos beat them 2-0, continue to lead the table
rising to 41 points.

They are 3 points ahead of Green Buffaloes who defeated 3rd placed
Kabwe Warriors 1-0 away at Nkoloma Stadium thanks to a Morgan Hanjeema
goal.

4th positioned Zanaco finally got their revenge over Lusaka Dynamos
when after three competitive losses to the latter when they won 1-0
away at Queensmead Stadium courtesy of a Given Singuluma goal.

Power Dynamos meanwhile lost 1-0 away to Konkola Blades who got their
winner through striker Felix Sunzu in the 38th minute.

Elsewhere, Red Arrows drew 0-0 away to City of Lusaka while Nchanga
Rangers finished 1-1 against Nkana in Chingola.

Young Arrows and Nkwazi played out to a scoreless draw at Nkoloma and
there was a 7 goal thriller at Kabufu Stadium in Luanshya where hosts
Roan United beat Green Eagles 4-3.
