  1. this money can buy a generator for UTH instead of making innocent babies dies.I cant believe nobody is doing anything about that incident, wateva happened to speaking for the vioceless. An incidence like this happened in the UK and a newspaper was intrumental in putting in petitions to have management sacked and they WERE sacked its time pipo started to take responsibility,we cant have pipo walking away with hefty salaries while we watch innocent defenseless babies die 🙁

  2. [-( pathetic. how many clubs are you going to form??? hope foundation, mmci, now ministers wives club next it will be wampuno ikulu club. you should have stuck with hope foundation & jus change the chairperson when a new president comes to power.

  3. Us the gilfriends of these ministers seriosly want to join this club. This is a money making venture and we don’t want to be left behind.Zedians, such clubs pray day and night that we keep on sleeping as they fatten their bank accounts.

  4. Ome director is foreigner while the other one is a Zulu. They are are interested in making companies popular to RB, nothing else. Why not donating directly to the orphanages?

Pauline Mbangweta refuted the story as false in todays, Saturday Post. She went on to say that the three babies who died on that day, died not out the power loadshedding, but to natuaral causes like natural asphyxia. Mbangweta said, its the policy of UTH not to respond to stories about patients in newspapers, but was this time she was forced to do so on the grounds that the topic on LT as it were was a severe misrepresentation of the facts on the ground. I could not believe that and was saddened to what lenghts we can go to, just to secure our jobs. But God will one day judge all of us harshly as the story was about life and not just any other thing. The baby had a right to life.

  12. babies are dying due to power failure and you are busy buying toilet seats for UTH? pa zambia awemwe :(( Why is UTH refusing that babies died. All nurses and doctors know what happened that day and many other days in the past. What is Mbangweta saying? Instead of soliciting for funds you are busy denying. God help Zambia. NGO’s wake up and be a voice for the voiceless. Those low esteem people at UTH are too scared for their jobs to say anything.:o[-(

  13. iye imwe that picture was it taken in 1993 or today? the dressing. ama skirt kwati ma curtain.are there from kandu luo club?

  14. Folks I’ve started to get worried. Do we really have a presido in Zambia. Iam sensing that RB is just to sleepy and has no vision for Zambia. He has never opened his:(( mouth to tell the Zedians of what he intend to do for them. He looks to be too daft to be presido.[-( what do you think?

  15. “UTH management categorically refutes these allegations as the hospital has not experienced electricity problems in a long time as we have seven stand-by generators, all in perfect working condition, primed to pick up power immediately there is any power interruption in the hospital,” Mbangweta stated. “Additionally, no complaints or grievances regarding any death of a baby or babies as a result of power outages at the institution have ever been received by the hospital.”

She however, admitted that some of the general wards were not connected to the generators, but sensitive and essential areas such as the theatres, ICU, D block, mortuary, X-rays and labour ward were connected.

  16. Wives are natural allies to their husbands and usually do end up as first suspects in case their husbands become wanting .Its easy to see here how these spouses are using this leverage to gain more milage for their lovers in the RB govt.Shame

  17. Nosense. In the UK the Govt takes care of the needy. Not criminals donating to fellow criminals. This is crap. stop it.
Govt should take care of the needy.

  18. I used to work at UTH years ago and its not the first time I’ve heard of babies die due to power failure. But power failures were not so much then. The ventilators they had then were so old I think bought in the 70s or 80s I hope they bought new ones by now.Sometimes even with electricity those ventilators would not work properly ,risky when a life is depending on it aint it?

  19. it is a sad (UTH)story that the govent is that reckless while calling itself a christian nation.akakanda mukalapila.bamambala
    🙂

  20. These ministers wives if at all they are genuine and want to be helpful they need to take their husband’s ,business’s money to donate to the poor. Companies should be donating money to reputable NGO’s to donate to the poor. This is not about making names. The CDF (Community development Fund) money should also not be used for donations by prominent people but should be given out as loans to Local investors .
