  1. LT the Polo Grill picture is almost next to nakedness. However, thanks for showing me what mindsets our current youths have back home in Zambia.

As for the Minister G. Mpombo, it appears he is so detached from the wife in this photo whatever was happening there.

Lastly, but not the least, mooba banyamata ku-Zed. Sad picture of how alcohol is mis-consumed in Zambia.

Anyhow, I hope we will improve as a Nation with time for the better. (:|

  2. I know Zambians can party, so there must be better pictures than these. Those girls at polo grill are fashion misfits. And Mpombo looks like he had quarreled with his wife before going to the party, ha ha..

  3. SO, LT YOU MEAN EVERYONE WAS LAVISHLY FEEDING IN ZAMBIA? WHAT ABOUT THE STURVING PEOPLE IF ANY. ACCORDING TO YOUR REPORTING THERE WERE NOT PEOPLE STURVING.

  4. A happy 2009 to you Maestro & congratulations for your award, you deserve it. I told these guys that Maestro came, he wrote, he conquered…:)>-

  5. 6. Nine Chale, thanks for everything. I just saw your encouraging and humble comments a few minutes ago. I couldnt comment as I went for a party and I only appeared home this morning around 7:30 am and staright away went to bed.

I wish you a prosperous 2009 and good health with your whole family. Take careful care always and be blessed.

  6. #5 Iwe man, even in the US there were people starving. You think when we say people are starving it’s the whole nation? No matter how Zambia develop, we shall always have the poor and every country has them. Ukutemwa controversy

As for Maestro congrats, you deserved the award and happy new year

  7. I wouldn’t be surprised if the dozing youth turns out to be one of the notorious bloggers on LT. Maybe it’s Prof. Mutengo Waminga:d

  8. 8. MMD Chief Bootlicker, thanks very much and please have a great 2009. All the best in your endeavours and may you please succeed.

  9. I Cant comment here one of the picture is weired.please allow me to wear sun glasses before nshilamone ifingi b-)b-)b-)b-)b-)b-)b-)b-)

  10. Iya, koma yeeee. I wonder where those disorderly chaps in a Police van are right now.

Hey award winning Maestro, congrats man. I agree with your comment (#2).

  11. i can see new year celebrations can make one forget problems of next day!go guys enjoy yourselves but remember ka AIDS kills…dont drive when you are drunk…dr!

  12. I wish those gals at polo grill could see themselves right now. What a disgrace. And the camera man also is something esle. This is what our young gals dress like in the nite. And what the hell was Mrs Mpombo doing? ‘day dreaming’ or saying ‘what the hell did I see in this man’. lol

  13. 16. Abantu Baya, thanks very much. Please take care of yourself. I will always do my best for Zambia and Zambians. :*.

  14. thank God my friend on picture is just dozing…
sincerely kuno chalilila russians drink out themselves and many die of the colds espcially nomba…so stop dozing boi and go home…you are innocent..happy200009

  15. Guys in diaspora, we see more than in picture 4 in the summer across europe and in the US. Even back home in some places in summer.

  16. Abantu Baya honestly the man looks ludicrous.

His got brown things covering his feet and he goes to wear a grey suit! :d

  17. One more comment before I call it a day. Hey ladies, are my eyes playing on me or is that really a bra that woman in the red top & white shorts is wearing over her top???
Dressing ya mu Zambia kwena ilasekehya…otherwise, I’ve seen better women in Zed. Now goodnite y’all…

  18. LT are these the best pictures about New year activities in Zambeziland. You are ‘our window home’
Mpombo-kudu tried to match his shoes with his wife’s attire. Good attempt :-. As for the revellers’ boots and bareback do not go together. For sure the parents did buy these attires. Ohhhh 🙁 Mufana wanga na wet trouser… nanga ni manzi ce aya[-(

Anwebo Maestro, Congrats… child of Zambeziland. I rejoice with you. Stay blessed:-\”

  19. #24… You do not need glasses for your eyes. There is something very strange about the dressing… this is special dressing for to welcome the new year 😕

You are dead right … Women of Zambeziland are better dressed, simple as their attires are.. bana Mpombo-kudu baesako. :d/

  20. #19 =))you hit the nail on the head bet that’s wat she was thinking.

Firstly it’s disappointin to see the kinda pics LT came up with. surely there werent any better places u would have gone to, to show us pics that will be nostalgic. Frankly those little gals at polo grill make me sick!!!

And the last pic, Awe mwandi. Am mauless…

  21. You folks whats wrong with the cowboy shoes Mpombo has put on? President Bush and many Americans especially southerners like wearing that type of shoes. If you don’t like it, then everyone must detaste it?

  22. The polo grill picture reminds me of my favourite song “cibelo wandetelela za yellow mbona yee.my bro kaks my your soul rest in enternal peace.

  23. No wait a minute guys! I know we are doing something right to blame the ladies pali picture,I think we should also ask cameraman waba LT why he/she just picked the fibelo why no umutwe or even umona.LT mwilansekesha :-j:-j:-j.Anyway tufwale ama sun glassesb-)b-)b-)b-)b-)before ba LT tabalatonaula.

  24. LT, Keep the bar high.If you would not want your children or parents you respect so much to see such nudity, then such a picture is below the bar.Higher moral standards foster mature patronage on the blog.Morality is the super highway to prosperity and leadership people envision.

  25. well, the photos are good but u can’t say tht those girls almost naked
we people who live in europe see naked women walking around the cities and we enjoy looking at them.Really they dress as if they are naked.
Anyway,we they must be better photos than those ways.the photos don’t show new year.it’s just like people drinking and dancing in the streets.
Do we really even use fire works at freedom park?
    hey zambian woke up!!!!

    not

  27. Our defense minister is wearing rocket shoes, check the position of those shoes, he is aiming at some young girls, that’s why his wife is distracted in trying to figure who the target is8-x

  28. 38. RUSSIA -MOSCOW compliments of the season. On your “the photos are not good but u can’t say tht those girls almost naked we people who live in europe see naked women walking around the cities and we enjoy looking at them.”, I hope you are not referring to my “LT the Polo Grill picture is almost next to nakedness” on #2 for my concern is directed to LT and not the girls.

Not all of us enjoy seeing nakedness. Who knows what other more pictures the LT photograph supplier took of that girl? LT can keep this place morally sound by avoiding to publish such PERIOD.

  29. 43. Happy new year, do you understand simple English my friend? Or has the Russian Language deranged your English abilities?

  30. #42 is right, that pic is porn, unless you are sick in the head then you can compliment such immoral behaviour.we need to help making zambia a better place,we have children that are growing up and they need to be trained in a way that will enable them to become responsible citizens.too bad

  31. 38. RUSSIA -MOSCOW or is it russia-moscow trying to disguise him-/her-self. Following #44, is it that you are always prone to making mistakes which you fail to solve. Abena Copperbelt akupashile kalya ka-JAVA PROGRAMMING QUESTION of which nanomba taula ka asuka. Apa nachilamona kwati you had a point by referring to others and not me, but you are showing continued ignorance in the things you invoke yourself into. Whats wrong with you?

  32. Mpombo be confident, dont show you home problems in public… The girls at Polo Grill…its not them they are ok and Innocent its the Cameraman he took a picture from underneath. what do you expect. if he stood straight in front of them they would look different. HAPPY NEW YEAR. BA ZED KA BEER ANYWAY HAVE FUN NI MWAMBO… what more if the Govt. cant keep you busy?

  33. This is my first time on LT and it’s a good site.

My take on the pictures are:
    a) Mpombo & wifey-what a combo of ‘mapuling’ with open toe shoes & those faux snake shoes (where is PETA)?
b)The guy with arm in air in van is saying to 5-0/Police “nipelekeni ku ma cells ndimu hustler ine, nshilanda nabantu, naligomyaika ine
c)Ba sister in red stilettos seems to be holding a ‘Toto packi’ bottle while the other chic in white boots nama ‘tiika’:-?
d)Bafana ni Polo grill-no comment but next time solani vaseline ku bookosi please-ishy cheeks are so 2008
e)Drunk Brutha-Adidas has since dropped the endorsement deal with him (aka the jacket he is rocking)

  34. I agree with Maestro – these pictures are a disgrace – surely LT could have done a lot better than this.

Don’t lose the name Maestro, keep it for 2009!

  35. Firtly.. Mpombo’s wife looks far much young than him.. nalimo nimpokeleshi..(on second thought,ni kumeka uku)…
2nd.. picture makes me wonder how the night ended in cold Chimbwakaila for these creatures..
3rd.. picture shows fashion assassination+ drunkeness, the woman holding ? a gin bottle…
4th. pic. makes my heart bleed.. I have nieces.. I dont want to imagine this. and I mean it…
5th pic,.. scares me to hell, I have nephews.. to see this would be ‘hell on earth’.. scares me stiff…

  36. Reminds of a story concerning some Western journalists who threw a few dollars in a rubbish bin. Some nearby African kids promptly went to fetch the dollars and the journalists quickly took some photographs. When the photos were published, the headline went along the lines of , ” Starving African kids searching for food.”

Journalists should know that they have a responsibility to be objective, truthful and rounded in their reporting.

  37. ba LT where are the good pictures??why do u concentrate only on bad things??why cant u show us people who had prayers that night or celebrated decently. **==**==**==

  38. grill girls. imwe cameraman anaonelatu…ni mabala…chibelo chapazedi sichi oneka oneka, tafimonwa monwa…e twamonako…

  41. Hello LT family!

Happy new year and I hope that you missed me? I am in the United States of America furthering my studies in International Law at Washburn University School for 6 months.

Prof Mutengo Waminga LLB(UNZA) LLM MA PHd (Oxford),

  42. 59. Prof Mutengo Waminga, you wrote “I am in the United States of America furthering my studies in International Law at Washburn University School for 6 months. Prof Mutengo Waminga LLB(UNZA) LLM MA PHd (Oxford),” what happened to your Havard Degree?

Sorry, if I have mistaken you for/with someone else who had portrayed having a quaification from Harvard?

  43. Hello Prof.

Interesting? So what will you be able to achieve in 6 months time that you were unable to achieve with your current qualifications?

What is your ambition and strategy for the next three years and how do you intend to benefit the common man through the use of all the knowledge and experience you have so ably amassed to date?

  44. Forgive me but is Prof Mutengo Waminga your real name?

I cannot seem to find any research papers linked to that name on a google search yet friends of mine with simple Doctrates can be linked to numerous papers, conferences, conventions, speeches etc. I would expect to find some results – publications, research papers etc against a professor’s name.

I am genuinely interested in learning about the academic work by which you earned your qualifications. Perhaps you could point me in the right direction. I must also congratulate you on your achievements – well done!

  45. Thank you very much!

    Sirs and lady,
My concentration at Washburn University is supranational law which centers on regional agreements where special quality are laws of countries that are held inapplicable when conflicting with a supranational legal system.

  46. New year celebrations are pointless and pagan if you really knew what they meant. But of course zambia is a nation of band wagoners who celebrate whatever they are told by their masters. The same people crying that they are christians are number ones celebrating pagan doctrines of rome to honour a god with two heads[-(. And this is what new year is all about to celebrate the beginning of another 12 months created by julius caesar and dionysuus exigus .Sometimes I don’t blame the creator for making zambians suffer, it is like they ask for it

  47. No. 64

….And where to intend to apply this specialist knowledge – matters relating to Zambia or another jurisdiction?

  48. #61 Bro. Maestro,

here is your match. go Maestro goooo …

we are behind you this time around…..

Please don’t comment on this one .. just gooo Maestro gooo… =d>=d>=d>=d>=d>=d>=d>=d>=d>

  49. No. 64

The Washburn website is not too helpful on the Supranational, what’s the actual name of the course? Very interested in having a look at the content.

  50. #
    64. your flag Prof Mutengo Waminga, you wrote “My concentration at Washburn University is supranational law which centers on regional agreements where special quality are laws of countries that are held inapplicable when conflicting with a supranational legal system,” which appears like you have adapted well to the American English so fast considering that you spent a huge chunk of your time in Zambia and the UK where British English is used extensively.

Anyhow, please find time to answer my querry on number #61. By the way, Prof. congrats in your winning of an LT Award yesterday. Nice seeing your resuscitation just after the Award announcements.

  51. You see young man,
In the United States of America in some states they do not accept any bar applications from any graduate law school. One has to be accepeted by the American Bar Association. So since after UNZA and Oxford and after coming here, I realised a Law degree awarded in the United States of American law educational institutions is a Juris Doctor.

  52. No. 73

I cannot find you on the Oxford University Alumni website either, have you registered? For a professor, you are very elusive.

  53. #
    73. your flag Prof Mutengo Waminga, it appears you are a bit tired for the construction of English and spellings doesnt seem to be up todate. I am just curious in light of you comment, so why are you pursueing something that appears as if you covered when you were at UNZA/Oxford doing a LLB/PhD?

    Consider:
Juris Doctor is the “modernized” version of the former LL.B. or bachelor of laws degree that all American law schools used to award upon …

  54. Hey Jaroph, thats not his real name. I did the same and I can’t find an publications under that name except for a blogger who calls himself by that name.

  55. #
    77. your flag Sarah Jones, happy birthday to you on your 50th birthday! I thought you were in the 30s though!

On the Prof, he seems to be avoiding my questions.

  56. Sarah J, I think our professor might have the same qualifications as FTJ because the course he is referring does not exist at Washburn either!

Disappointing, I thought we had found someone to rival Dr. Roger Chongwe, among others!

Please explain professor, surely you are not a master of arts in the mould of David Blane?

  59. Young ones,
You seem to be hungry to criticise anything I say. I have these qualifications and you can have a cup of tea for all I care. You can goggle all you want.

Which of you has any qualifications online for me see? Show my your trails?

Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere

  60. 79. Thanks. I will never tell you my real age on this blog, but for now am 50years old. This professor, is he for real?

  61. #
    80. your flag Jaroph, I am wondering about this Prof too as he seems not to correlate with the Prof Mutengo Waminga we knew previously.

  62. #71,Sarah Jones,

    Wanisekesa maningi,

Come on, be fair. We are not the ones branding qualifications we cannot explain or justify – you are.

Maestro HHe hhe hhe hhe (aka Physicist G~la_fj) can explain his qualifications. Why brag if you cannot deliver? I am genuinely interested in reading your research if it is there. Why the sudden shyness?

  64. #
    82. your flag donya donya, thanks very much and keep well with good health in 2009 as well as the future future in general.

  66. #
    87. your flag Jaroph, I had forgotten to change the username as I shifted onto my laptop from the Desktop PCs.

    Here we go again.

The Prof hasnt yet answered why he is doing an equivalent of the LLB he did supposedly at UNZA let alone the more big PHd from Oxford. I however need the answer to my questions.

  67. #
    89. your flag Prof Mutengo Waminga, I have asked somewhere as to whether you are tired, what is happening with your British English especially that you learned English as an LLB student in 1st year at UNZA? Check out your “I am still happy and I still Prof Mutengo Waminga LLB(UNZA) LLM MA PHd (Oxford),” which seems unbecoming of an UNZA LAW graduate.

  68. I think this professor chap must have qualified at Kabova University. Perhaps he meant Supernatural law!

If he got his Phd from Oxford it can be verified in seconds, perhaps he does not know that.

  69. Young man,
Yes I am tired after New Year celebrations. I am not perfect so once in a while my english may slip.

Prof Mutengo Waminga LLB(UNZA) LLM MA PHd (Oxford) and soon to be J.D (WU)

I may have pointed out earlier that I am in Topeka for 6 months, my module is shorter than usual as I got excepted from certain modules of LLB.

  70. #
    94. your flag Jaroph, it appears that the Prof is fake and simly wants to usurp the Award LT gave out to the real Prof Mutengo Waminga yesterday on:

    ======

Nevertheless, I will continue asking him to stand up to his claims if he is the true one.

  71. In No. 73 you said,”In the United States of America in some states they do not accept any bar applications from any graduate law school. One has to be accepeted by the American Bar Association. So since after UNZA and Oxford and after coming here, I realised a Law degree awarded in the United States of American law educational institutions is a Juris Doctor.”
In No. 95 you said,” may have pointed out earlier that I am in Topeka for 6 months, my module is shorter than usual as I got excepted from certain modules of LLB.”

Spot the contradiction O’ great lawyer!

  72. #
    95. your flag Prof Mutengo Waminga, nice knowing you are tired. On your “I may have pointed out earlier that I am in Topeka for 6 months, my module is shorter than usual as I got excepted from certain modules of LLB,” I reckon it MUST read ‘… I got EXEMPTED from certain modules of LLB’.

Anyhow, have a good rest and I will ask you more when you are ready to respond confidently.:-j

  73. Young man,
I am tired. We (International students at Washburn) went to see Fire works at the city hall at mid night.

  74. I think we can close the chapter on the professor and leave him with his dreams.

    1. His English would not pass GCSE law let alone Phd level law at Oxford
    2. He fails to explain how a professor deos not have a single research paper to his name
    3. He contends that he realised a US law degree and yet he now says his course is 6 moths because he is exempted form most of the LLB modules – a course he has already ‘realised’!
    4. There is no mention of a course in supranational law at Washburn
    5. He does not seem to exist at UNZA either
    6. As a lawyer, it seems he cannot follow an argument or his own logic
    7. We should have mercy and let him be! We are too illiterate to understand his brilliance

  75. Professor Mutengo Wamango is just a conman….Katondoboys graduate..just one of the lusaka thamangas…you can see him in one of the pictures above..thats him dozing lol

  76. #
    101. your flag Jaroph, =)), hhe hhe hhe hhe. I just had to laugh.

Anyway, lets hope he will be fine next time to keep up with the questions we (seem) to have for him – Prof Mutengo Wamiga.
    ======================

I have been sending some New Year Photos to the people I was partying with and now I feel I had done a good job so it is time to sleep. Later!

  77. Young man,
You realise that it is human to err? You just said “moth” instead of ‘months’. Does that mean you are not educated? No! LT has no spell check.

If I may ask-what are your educational qualifications yourself? Is Jaroph your real name? You represent the UK flag though your english does not seem so-check your typos in 101 ati ” deos not ” but young man I cant judge you simply on that.

  78. People sound smarter thesedays beacause of computers..they read alot and sound like real professors and yet they the lusaka joberg kaponyas

  79. It seems you cannot read either Professor, I checked my own error in No. 102 above. Unlike you, I did not need Maestro to do it for me!

And moth is a word and so it does pass the spelling test, in case you did not know that either!

  80. No. 107

Professor, no one judged you on spelling errors. Your construction does not sit well with a man of your reputed qualifications was the point I was making. And as you cannot explain the qualifications, it leaves us to conclude that you are making them up!

As for my own qualifications, as I said, I am not the one who appeared on here bragging so I have nothing to prove. I am merely Jaroph – nothing more, nothing less.

  81. Prof Mutengo Wamango i know you asked Jaro fimo fimo about his schooling….he does sound well schooled anyway

  82. Thank you young man,
For asking my question and for been sincere and civil.

We both agree that noone should be judged on spellings.

Now to clarify your quest-I am currently in Topeka, Kansas at Washburn University for 6 months. As a qualified Lawyer recognised in Zambia and at Oxford respectively, I enrolled for a specific module in WU called “Supranational law”.

  83. I have been watching this gradual roasting of professor Mutengo and I sense a lot of saltiness . It seems some people are very bitter about other peoples qualifications. Common sense have been substituted for googling .Some of you are just showing your idiocy and do not even know what LLB means instead you run to google. it just shows that some people from inferior institutions of learning will always be forever intimidated. Why would somebody’s qualifications have you salty and bitter as hell, don’t worry about what other people do worry about yourself.

  84. Jaroph I see no mention of your name in my post, one wonders why you attribute it to yourself or maybe it’s just that hit hits home

  85. No. 130

Please re-read my question, it asked who you were referring to because I could not recall anyone here being confused by the meaning of LLB.

Nothing hit home, how could it? Just trying to fully understand where you are coming from.

  86. Sara P

You can see Russia from your backyard!

    You are darn right

The Republicans called as they want their 150 K for the clothes you used during campaign

  87. At a rally on Saturday, Sarah Palin attempted to recite a quote from Madeleine Albright that she read off a Starbucks cup. She then summed up her views on energy by claiming, ‘America runs on Dunkin’

  88. Dont bring the gender card here. You want to play then let’s tango. Is it me or you who is Sara Palin?

You choose that name on your own

  89. That’s a good one 138. I have one too:-

John McCain wants to suspend his debate with Barack Obama until the economic crisis is over. And Sarah Palin wants to suspend her debate with Joe Biden until she can find Europe on a map

  90. Bloggers, these columns are not meant for us to be exchanging cheap talks about personal issues but are meant to express our views to banyandules. Use emails for ur personal issues and dont congest the comment columns. Lets see change in the new year.

  91. Listen I dont want to get u in trouble. Let’s not congest the thread. Hala on the blog when u see me.

    Gud night>:/

  92. What gets me is how Zeds do not know their languages well. If prof. Mutengo Waminga was real, his name would properly be “Mtengo Waminga”. Mutengo is Lusaka Nyanja.

  93. Ladies and Gentlemen, here is another shocker. Former First Lady Maureen Mwanawasa will be getting an honorary doctorate degree in Los Angeles,California this coming May. Why she is being honored is not because of her works at home, but rumor has it that they made huge donations to expensive and prestigious Pepperdine University before her husband died. Who is next? Thandiwe and RB? Money is being used to buy honorary doctorates while people sleep hungry in Zambia.

  94. Now, LT you have started behaving like The Post; Do you know that your site is a public site which can be visted by people of all ages?
Dont you know that places like Polo Gril have got certain limitations for entry and that only certain type of people with certain mindsets get in there?
LT, you have have not put any warning sign or message on you site that limits the groups/class of people to view it; why do you get awkward pictures from a restricted place and put them on your site which is open to all public?
I would like to ask you LT that you remove the Polo Gril pictures immediately or put a WARNING! message on your site as the opening page of your site, stating age limits.

  95. Please LT

Remove that Ka Picture for polo grill am scared.Iam tired of wearing my sun glasses b-)b-)b-)b-).

  96. I can not believe how naive people can be! I have gone out to night clubs with a chief executive of a reputable company very well known in Zambia since I came to the UK. Yes the Polo Grill may not be up to the standards but for goodness sake that`s what there is in Zambia. It`s like compairing Shinde stadium to The Emirates!

Those women are not naked. I have seen worse. Zambians are hypocrites. There are people here who back home would never enter a pub because they were christians. Here they are always in the fore front when there is a Zambian party in the pub. Yes in the pub. May be pubs in the UK are not “evil”!

  97. Matworld-Nice guy!, Long time man. how are you? I think those pictures are just ok to show those people who dont go parting what goes on there. ali na mendo yamushe

  98. Fine!, How are you? I dont see anything wrong with the pictures because thoso two ladies are not naked. you cant call that nudity.

  99. #180 contd.
People who never wore a pair of trousers back home because they were Jehovas witnesses wear them everyday here! Hypocrisy!

If you do not like what you see, do not look. I have seen a few comments from girls on here on the dressing in picture 3. Girls Zambia is Zambia and it is in Africa. That is all these girls could afford! You are lucky you wear designer clothes but do not laugh at others. Say a prayer instead.

All those who are not happy see thesun dot co dot uk.

LT I can not see anything wrong in the pictures other than the s i l l y shoes that minister is wearing and a van rounding up offeders-not safe in my opinion. It is only in Africa you get such.

  100. Rashid Jones

Mudala nilipo lipo,How are you big man? manje mudala am worried mwati mwaonesesa mendo.I think i help you with my spectacles pantu mendo ayo…anyway one man’s meat is another man’s poison. :-j:-j:-j:-j:-j

  101. #183 Contd.

LT people should be talking about Police having proper vehicles and not a van rounding up offenders. Nite clubs are there in developed countries we admire day in day out. You either go or you don`t.

This hypocrisy by Africans! We used to wear imibinde why don`t we still do the same upto now?

    Keep it up ba LT.

  102. LT I think we can make the job of our Brave Police officers easy by providing them with equipments to do their jobs,Open truck to transport offenders is a joke. The minister of Home affairs is not doing his job or he must be fired,Zambia has 95% of men and women in offices they are not suppose to be, just look at the way the country is.

  103. #180. Zedian
Yes you may have seen worse things than these pictures, but does that make you feel evryone must do what you have done?
If you are a thief and have stollen and probably killed people does that make stealing good for everyone?
Let people who want to see worse things like yourself follow these things to places where they aught to be found and not bring them to public consumption.
If a thief enjoys his stealing let him not loby for everyone to join him.

  104. Matworld-Nice guy!, Rashid is always fine because he takes good care of himself. Its because she is fat so you expect that last part of mendo to be darker.Dont worry about them, they believe in “enjoy in the days of your youth but ………………”

  105. #182. Rashid Jones
You see nothing wrong with those ladies; I dont blame you.
I talked of mindset. What that means is that you are confortable with that kind of appearances. That is why I said there are classes of people with different likes and tates. This is the reason why you dont find those things everywhere, but in particular restricted places where people of particular mindsets go. It does not matter whether one is chief executive or not, what matters is your mindset.
That is why you have people from all walks of life ranging from ‘grass root’ to high profile politicians and from cleaners to CEOs go such places when others of simillar portifolio can’t do so.

  106. Fine!Get me right, im not saying there is nothing wrong with those ladies. all im saying is that those PICTURES are just ok because i cant call that nudity.

  107. Matworld! i was telling 3RqU on wednesday that your computer had kilashed or the xenophobians were at it again. We missed u man.
And for Maestro ….. Wabonwa mudala, ili buti new yr?(my tonga is not bad)

  108. #189 Fine it`s a matter of choice. If you think it is not right then pack it in! You`ve just given me an example of a thief yet you go to speak against yourself.

There are night clubs everywhere in the world and if you think they are not for you fine!

Stop coming onto LT if you feel offended. These girls are not even showing their boobs yet we see girls in Swaziland during that ceremony even more naked than this. Something you rpobably sit down and watch with your children.

    :o:o

  109. Imwe pipo ninga cameraman waba LT is also naughty, why ukukopa amolu out of all the body parts.Iwe cameraman when I come to Zambia you will be in hot soup :-j:-j:-j:-j:-j:-j

  110. Morning Matworld and UMUGAZEBO.

Happy new year guys. Matworld ati computer yali kililasha!:d

Not my fault:d UMUGAZEBO thought it was me!

  111. There is no reason why you need to defend imorality.
Now, whether you defend it successfuly of not it remains imoral.
I wonder why some people feel so proud to defend such pictures.
Anyway, that is why it is said pride can be found in anything.
I look at the boys on the street and to them if he can sniff more petrol/diesel than others then he will be a proud boy.

I must also say here that, where as some people think that womanising or sleeping with every man you find makes you more important in society there are those that think such conduct is imoral. Now, let not these womanises or restless women think that such behaviour should be liked by all.
If you approve of it, go on.

  112. Matworld naimwe! You were in Durban the other month and I bet you saw more than just those legs. If anything you must have seen better ones ala! :d

  113. UMUGAZEBO and FAMILY

Happy new year big man.I saw your your comment big man,ala bwafya. The account for the internet(ADSL)expired,I will say we have a fixed accout loaded with 2gigs every month so it expired before a month.I was watching zambian Music/comedy on youtube, its like videos consumes alot of space.so iyifyo big man.

  114. 3RqU

My dear whenever I see those mendo I close my eyes.ala nakunokwine dressing imo ine.Iam just concerned of the last part(dark part)it is scaring me.

  115. Umugazebo and family, Matworld, 3RqU, Rashid, and the rest, morning

What do you think about those legs in the picture????

  116. #195. Zedian
You are failing to get a straight point here, i dont know why.
I have not told LT to remove night clubs, No!
I have told LT to remove these pictures and not to put any such pictures in future again.
We all know night clubs and what is expected to be in there, that is why some of us dont go there, and that same reason is why some of you go there.
But to bring out what is in the night clubs to those who dont go there so that they may also see is and will always be wrong. Night clubs to disguise themselves as shopping malls, they are clearly stated ‘night club’ so that people make choice to go in or not.
LT has never put a message here thatsuch pictures may be brought.

  117. Pinkly

To be frank with you I dont like those legs, they are scaring me especially the dark part. :-j:-j:-j:-j:-j

  118. 3RqU, Matworld and all concerned.

It was I yesterday.I was my brother’s laptop, but dont know why the flags kept changing.

  119. Pinkly, morning dear. those legs have become part of our lives because to tell you the truth a day cant pass without seeing a lady puting on such. Its only that the lady was busy dancing and the dress went up abit.Pinkly, nanga madizi ya pa last picture wayaona?

  120. Matworld, nothing wrong with the dark part. I am more worried about the genele man in the last picture. Didn`t he get mugged or is he the wum himself?

With Cholera around he shouldn`t be sitting there!

    Pinkly I like the picture:d

What happened yesterday? Were you in Norway or what?

  121. #205 cont’d..
If LT’s content is non-segregative let them sate openly so that we can make choise.
This why I am asking LUSAKA TIMES to put up a WARNING MESSAGE! that content on this site may not conducive to every age group.
People make choices about bars and night clubs because they can see the labels and know what such labels stand for.
If we consistently continue to see LT bring imoral pictures on this site, definitely we will stop viewing it based on this knowledge. This would mean that for a new visitor he will have to see awkard staff also before discovering that the site has questionable content. That is damage caused already b4 choice is made. That is why a warning is needed.

  122. Fine. #205 Why do you want LT to remove the pictures? Because they are showing what happens in Nite Clubs? Yes you`ve rightly said there are people who go to Nite Clubs and those who don`t. So why do you want those who don`t to win?

Fine that kind of reasoning is very dictatorial!:d:d

    Stop coming on LT.

  123. Rashid, you are very right.I dont know where we are heading to.

    3RqU

No Papa. I was within. Was using another laptop not my usual one and i kept changing locations , maybe that’s why. I knew, you certainly thought i was a ka fake one.

  124. #211 Fine.

Now that you have seen this, are we going to see you around again? LT are not going to remove the pictures and as I said there is nothing wrong with them.

Ba bwana mwamona utumolu utushili notusuma imwe cashupa? :d:d:d:d:d

Hope it is the last time we are seeing you on here because chances are LT are going to publish such again in future. If you keep coming then either you are happy or you are not principled!:d:d:d

  125. b-)b-)b-)

I can`t see “nothing wrong” with those pictures. Simple legs tha`s all!

Pinkly sorry on this one we are not fightinmg the same corner babes!:d:d

  126. Pinkly what`s wrong with that dressing?

I will try and dissect it for you.

Pic 3 has poor girls trying to keep up to standards
Pic4 has two girls who are enjoying themselves then a certain cameraman takes a photo. Nothing wrong there!

Like Zedian said, I am more worried about that police van loaded with lives and the man in the last picture. It is not safe to take people in a van like that. Yes that`s what we should be discussing here.

  127. #215. Zedian,
If I were like you I would have been selfish and just say well since I have seen this picture I will not comment but quietely back off. How about an under-age who by law is not even suppose to get into the pub and wants to vist LT in future only to find ‘pub content’ on LT? Will I be wrong to speak for such children. Will I just be selfish and say because me I have stopped viewing LT I am safe and whoever vists it unknowing it is their fault?
Will I behave like you and say as long as I like the content it is fine I dont care?
LT can error by puting this picture here, and if we call on them to show them this is wrong and they refuse by continuing to place such pictures then

  128. Ba LT there is no need to be putting PG25. These people coming on here see these things in there homes.

When I left Zambia, people were blubbing about channel O because it was on ZNBC. I hear even people in Kawama have digital TV now and watch these music channels (barring amalaiti) everyday.

I know where you are coming from though. There is no democracy in Zambia. Some one might wake up and close your site because a certain Mr Fine has complained. Hypocrisy ku Africa!

  129. Look at Mpombo and his wife, they are not even looking at each other. It’s like they are all in their own little world thinking! but about what??.

  130. Oh Fine please shut up! Immorality does not always come from pubs. The UK has this law about pubs and kids.

Yet Africa has the highest number of HIV and AIDS.

  131. The women confronting alleged pickpocket are dressed fine. The one on the left is not wearing a bra over her top. its a cropped halterneck waistcoat – proving she is a lot more fashion forward than some on this forum. The assumption that one cannot keep up with fashion just because one is living in Zed is flawed especially when one considers how badly some people dress in the west even though they presumably have access to better quality. Access to trendy clothing is a double edged sword as evidenced by people wearing things that are wrong for their bodies. Living in the southern hemisphere the trends reach us later but that gives us time to really incorporate them into our personal style

  132. #220 cont’d..
LT can error by puting this picture here, and if we call on them to show them this is wrong and they refuse by continuing to place such pictures then we will stop viewing their site and warn those around us of meeting the unexpected on LT so that they make choice b4 they meet such pictures.
LT should put a warning as opening page of their site if they think getting pictures from restricted places like bars and pubs and putting them on their site will be part of their practice.
I expect LT to understand most of the reasons why such places as bars and pubs have got age restrictions, and to go and get content of the activities from pubs and bring to public defeats the purpose.

  133. 3RqU

You can still enjoy dancing in long, decent and fancy clothes.

Ok man… can you allow your wife or girlfriend to dress like that????? I need an honest answer!

  134. Pinkly my wife is older than RBs:d:d:d

When she was that age yes!
Moza valid points but if you look at the picture it is cheap stuff those girls are wearing bless them!

  135. Fine, I really dont know why u are goin on about this picture! This is nothin compared to wat we see at Arcades or Manda Hill even during the day. You dont need to go into a night club to see how the standards of dressin have degraded amoung the youth. I also dont know why LT has even bothered to put “Viewer dicretion” For what???? U take ur kids out on a weekend afternoon and thats all u see!!! LT is only tryin to bring to light wat is on the ground to the pipo out of Zed so they can see how bad things have become. So, LT…Keep posting them, wewant to see, and to the parents….please keep watch over ur children!!!

  136. Pinkly
That’s a good question. It I think this is were we are wrong as Zedian,Ukukopa.it should not be like this ati pantu pa south africa,uk,america nakumbi balafula so we should also do the same :o:o:o:o:o.3Rqu please answer Pinkly’s question.

  137. By the way bloggers,do youknow that most of these ladies who dress like that come from well to do families? its not all ladies who dress like who are prostitutes(hookes)

  138. Pinkly

Iam not statisified with 3RqU’s answer, but thank for the :o):o):o).this is pinkly I know:-j:-j:-j:-j

  139. Rashid Jones

Bakamba you are right, but why should someone love to be called a prostitute when she’s not.Iam not condemning the dressing nor the ladies in pali ka picture, but cameraman why of all the body parts he was only interested mufibelo? :-j:-j:-j

  140. #223. 3RqU
I wonder how you aks me questions and expect answers after telling me to shut up; to me that looks like by-passing logic.
Anyway, you say that, “Immorality does not always come from pubs”. You are right; in fact you have admitted that pubs are one of the sources. Since you have also spoted it as one of the sources, it has to be restricted and not advertising its activities to the entire public by putting such activities on LT for indescriminate consumption.
Why should you affinity for indescent exposure be so deep that you have to sweat trying to defend the indescent pictures?
Is that the way you would enjoy to see your sisters to dress and be proud about it?

  141. Pinkly aha!:d

Matworld we copy everything that comes from the west purposely sometimes forced on us.

Not everything they do is wrong and not everything we do is right. I like their idea of having a licence for children and a play area for them with eating facilities. Keeps a family as a unit.

  142. Matowrld Thanx man. Am not equally satisfied with his answer.

February is the month for your…..tell me, when is the actual date???

  143. Matworld was it a brainer?

Sometimes you have to dig deep! :d Look at it again.

Not every answer will be straight!:d:d:d

  144. Matworld-Nice guy, obvious the cameraman couldnt resist the temptation of looking muma belo.Man i was by Hollywood city and it was worse than what you are seing in that picture.

  145. #234 Fine

There is nothing immoral with pictures above. All you have seen are legs. Yet you people watch miss world and all that crap with your children.

I used to watch athletics back home on telly and unless you are telling me girls were running in overalls!:d

That is even worse than the picture above. Why are people excited about the picture above?

  146. Pinkly you watch Olympics, you`ve been to Brighton:d and yeah you used to watch King Mswati (?SP).

Look at the photo above again and tell me which is worse.:d:d:d:d

  147. Pinkly believe me, this man Fine obviously has digital TV at home and he watches these things everyday.

They now have almost all the channels we have here and you have seen the crap we see on Sky.

Ba Fine mulekosa no kusulafye sometimes. It is just dressing. They girls are not showing their P parts are they?

  148. 229. Girly
If you are a woman do you dress like that?
If you are a man and have sisters, do they dress like that?
If yes, then I understand why you seem not to see anaything wrong, but if no then why?
You say LT wants people to see how things have become that is why they brought the picture. But who does not know that things in the pubs have always been bad?
If if LT found a man in the very act of defiling a girl and got the picture showing details of exactly what happened. Will you be very happy if they posted it here to show the public exactly what happens during defilement so that people can know how bad defilement is?

  149. Pinkly, to tell you the truth i go night clubs to have fun. started from club vegas in chilenje, northmead then finally Holly wood city.

  150. 3RqU

Hmmmmmmm! Iyakuma olympics nabena muswati…yaliko bad. But that girl in the dress is as a good as naked bacause of that ka dark part.

  151. Pinkly

You are right. Its like 3RqU tabeshibe why we are against that ka pic.The dark part scares me :-j:-j:-j:-j

  152. Matworld-Nice guy!, bro obvious you have been there for you to say that. its nice to have fun and to be cautious always man

  153. Sure 4 me the offending pic is ist one cos of the dressing of those in it (Mr. & Mme ‘Pombo). I wonder which planet those creatures belong to. This is not my idea of the looks of my Minister of Defense at an official public gathering.

  154. Rashid Jones

not at all,but I have seen that at the university,am even scared to open school coz february that’s when girls dress like that coz of the weather.

  155. Guys sure! It looks worse because it`s a black girl. If it was my wife it wouldn`t look that bad. Pinkly don`t you buy magazines which have worse pictures than that?

    Please she wasnt naked Matworld!

  156. Pinkly, i did have fun and i was just wishing that you,Matworld,3RqU, Girly,Man Kunde, nine chale,Cutey, sony eric and the rest could have accompaned me.

  157. 248. 3RqU,
If you found your sisters or your wife dressed like that will you be very impressed and tell them ‘you are looking nice’?
I have told you that you see nothing wrong with such because your way of thinking enjoys such. have you ever seen anyone who enjoys something turn and say this is bad?
I have told you before that take for instance a person who sleeps with any woman or man they see, do you think they will say that is wrong or right? Your values and what you enjoy will determine what you call bad or good.
I have told you already that if you enjoy that kind of appearance, you are free; go to the pubs and see them. But dont bring them to the public so that others may also see.

  158. You dont talk about your wife like that on a public forum. if she ever saw that, she can even file for a divorce straight away. Understood?????

  159. #270. 3RqU
I have already told you that normally when a person enjoys a certain practice there is a tendency to think that others to the same.
If you are here because you are enjoying the pictures dont think others are there for the same reason.
When a doctor is working on a patient dont you think he enjoys seeing sick people, his agenda is to resolve the problem of the illness.
In the same way I am here to resolve people’s wrong mind sets.
I still urge you, if you enjoy these pictures go get them from where such activities take place, dont encourage the idea of transfering the acts in form of pictures to the public, No!

  160. 3RqU

You said “Guys sure! It looks worse because it`s a black girl. If it was my wife it wouldn`t look that bad”. It is the last statement which i dont like Papa. I dont know, maybe am just being naughty!

  161. Dont worry am not, but fine is. Now why do you keep eluding my question? want an answer..i might as well suprise you with a car, who knows

  162. Rashid Jones

I think ni munyaule nafuti petersen.

    Pinkly

muh huh…errrr…anyway give me time I will answer you.is that ok with you?

  163. My name is Mpombo – check out my crocobile skin shoes! Cool, no? I got them for 50 pin from confiscated salaula from Lusaka City Council.

  164. Guys i think the lady shud have more careful bcoz her outfit was a bit revealing. Its called fashion mishap! i have nothing against short skirts or dresses, but i wudnt allow my girl to dress like that, largely bcoz of the attention it might attract and what niggaz wud start thinking ….

  165. *277 Come on, let’s stop pretending. Those pictures have only brought to light what we already know. We all know were such girls are found and what they do there. Just because such a picture is displayed in the Zambian media doesn’t make it any worse than one in playboy magazine.

  166. Sorry blogger. I have been away partying all this time. Let me tell you that this drunken guy in the picture is Nine Chale. Thats how he drinks.LOL

  167. Umugazebo it’s all about perception. Celebrites fight to be on the Playboy magazine cover naked. Does that make them less descent than the Moslems women covered in robes? No man. It’s all about the way you perceive life and circumstances at the time.

  168. Crucify the camera man. Why did he position himself underneath the skirt. He’s depraved.

LT should self-censor themselves. This is zero out of ten for LT. We know nakedness is out there but please not for public consumption. Pornography is addictive. Save our minds.

  169. Norah

    Happy new year!

Ma! when Nine Chale comes on the scene and reads that, he will swallow you alive! lets ask LT to do us favour by deleting that post

  170. mosko guys ninshi na imwe!!!!?till now you dont know that russia is not in europe?
russia is in russia guys….so go to church and stop watching those photoz…u had enough of Natasha..yasna!

  171. mosko guys ninshi na imwe!!!!?till now you dont know that russia is not in europe?
russia is in russia guys….so go to church and stop watching those photoz…u’ve had enough of Natasha’s

  172. #299

Thats nothing compared to friday’s post, entertainment pages. Besides the post is reached by many readers compared to LT.

  173. I was resisting the temptation of saying it looks gross because it is on a Zambian site. We have people who are more than “culturally” correct yet they read magazines and newspapers.

Like I said, people in Zambia have digital telly now and I bet they see worse than this why the excitement?

Fine your children back home are busy watching more than this trust me!

LT I am very disappointed that a certain miserable person called Fine has forced you to even put that PG thing there. But then again, like I said, you have to follow what te masters say lest they shut your site. It`s annoying! %-(

  174. Pinkly

Sorry to bother you,Iam about to answer your question, but before I do that.Three quick questions,
1.Where are you at the moment?
2.who told you that i was born in feb?
3.is it you who want to know or someone is using you?.

    Please answer me :o):o):o):o)

  175. #299 i have heard about pornography and i have never seen any pictures til today. so pornography is not bad afterall though pipo in Zed are arrested for having pornography pictures or videos etc. kansi ni poridge.
    **==

  176. why is it that people are crying so much about the dresscode of these poor girls, you make me think that you are seeing this for the first time. for instance on On Websites of Zambians living abroad ie USA, we see such kind of dressing when these ladies go for their so called get togethers. what is the difference? people are just trying to critise for nothing….
and besides everyone has the right to dress the way that the want. When our neighbours in Malawi (ladies) were being barred from wearing trouser, it was the Zambians who were laughing.
    Ni kuvala mwamene iyi nvelela,

  177. Matworld

I can see you are dead scared!! You told me yourself. Remember, when you you told me that you have a problem…..hello …. and i asked you to spit it out, so that we help you out…?????? ~X(

  178. #297. Prophet
Yes these things happen in certain restricted places.
If you enjoy such, we encourage you to stop but if you can’t stop then go to these places where such activities take place.
Why would you want to go take a snap so that you bring it in public?
There are many things that happen in private places but you dont say because they happen let us put then in public domain.
It will be imoral for a couple to say since people know that we are married, let us take snaps of what we do in our bedroom and take them to public places since everyone knows we are married and we do such.
That kind of reasoning may not impress many people, even when you might think it would.

  179. 3RqU

I already know it is my opinion.

If you are going to argue against it then kindly do so in a constructive manner.

  180. ba gelo benzu ku chifankisa chabe! whats wrong with puting the dance. imwe bantu ndimwe bama issues. :(. looks like imwe ndimwe ba Jesus Christ. if you destest such, please trying checking out other topics, as for some of us, this is a small issue.
if anything this is fashion, not even made in Zambia and that is why you see the two ladies wearing nets, this is not to expose their flesh as in direct. :)):)):)):)):)):))**== chinalila,

  181. Imwe ma brothers in despora, ine chanivuta. some of the brothers abraod marry bazungu but when the return to Zambia with the imported wives, they start envying brown mamas, brown kids etc. why chili so? like ba Danny Pule, he had to divorce his wife of 27 years just to have a brown mama and brown child who could have direct entry to Presidential elections. (please not, as bazungus are not white but pinks, we are not blacks but browns)……. **==

  182. No. 319

You have stated you view, and others should also be able to do the same without being lambasted with words that are out of context and extreme. Yes, some will detest the picture in question from a religious or spiritual perspective, others will do so because they have principals they wish to uphold, others because they worry about the type of men such girls might attract and so on. Perhaps it would be more beneficial to try and understand why people hold a particular view rather than dismissing it out of out hand with little comprehension. That way our exchanges can be an adaptive learning process for all of us.

  183. Hmmm Ka Mpombo nakabika umuswema ayi, that’s a nice show,i thought it was Koffi Olomide before i could look at the face elyo na dabwa ati bena Mpombs. LOL
    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

  184. Mwebanthum shilekeni abakashana bafwale. I am sure the pictures are not obscene. Most of these armchair critics have done and continue gnasty things that those girls dancing out on new year’s eve. Banyamata, just enjoy that chibelo, its your only chance. I am sire those girls didnt want to expose like that but may be its because they were dancing.

  185. # 323, say what you want to say, thats my view. am saying so because i am trying to figure out which planet some people live. it seem to me that this kind of life is only in Zambia…. maybe if it is i should close the chapter. worser things happen in various communities and find it strange at how people are reacting to the dressing and dance. obviously with me its not strange….. i work and once in a while when i feel like enjoying myself, i chill, i go to Shantemba, Times Cafe and tichiliza with my friends. And i wear the gear that makes me feel good when i dance. then i drive home and sleep in my big bed. Dance ni dance and there is no better word or bad word. **==

  186. Bloggers, LT is just doing the journalistic work of informing, entertaining and educating. Its all up to the public to come up with their own conclusions. LT dnt relent. These guys depress me. They cant appreciate anuthing good. I am a lady myself and I know what it is to dress and dance like that. Its not indecent exposure.

  187. #332 Norrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!! am a lady too. Wani nvesa bwino, waitaka.
ndipo ine nivina, and i know how to do it.
    **== ikati fendela funduzi

  188. Iam happy people from home were having some good time somewhere. yes there are people starving somewhere, its the whole world so its not in zambia only. The fressing is fine, unless one wants to entertain his or her mind to strange ideas. The minister dancing, not bad though, he could have been a little closer to madam, nichifye mu zambia nomber ba pungwa they are scarce, they can only be found in some places. So dont cry over trivial issues. Theres freedom of dressing everywhere now. Fine lastly, to my fellow zambians where ever you are, the monkies of northern, eatern rat, lozi crocodiles, tonga bull luapula thieves, lamba cabbages and namwanga bean, happy Prosperous 2009, and good luck

  189. Where’s Lady Chiza’s Legs….. hmnhmn
And fellaz lets not just dwell on the dancing ladies, how about the last pic of that embarrassment of a man. The waldrobe malfunction is even better if you ask me.
BOTTOM LINE bloggers love legs. If you dont believe me compare, the number of posts on the Communism article and this one.

  190. the Minister was just following the song – mwamene uyi nvelela. it was like…
    Shelela Shelela
    Shake your body,
    kabiya ichanuma,
    Shunguluka, shunguluka, shunguluka
    Kabiye chantanshi,
    Shelela, Shelela
Mpombo emoali, nachipampa, abakashi emobali, nachipampa, nachimpampa
    Shelela, Shelela

nowonder that gap between him and the missis.

  191. #329. Anonymous,
You guys who keep saying worser things happen in many communities so we should not condemn these pictures shock me with your way of thinking. Its like telling a family that has lost a loved one to stop crying because afterall many people die in other families as well. You tell a mother who has lost a child who is 10 years to stop crying because hers is nothing, afterall his collegue lost an even bigger child of 25 years.
Anyway you are typical Zambians who when they become MPs they start to tell people to stop complaining about potholes in their constituency because in the next constituency potholes are even bigger.
Such mentality causes roads to finally become unusable.

  192. 193. UMUGAZEBO and FAMILY ndalumba musa. Mwaka Mupya (New Year) ucilikabotu calino. Inchito buyo iyakuvula invwiki iiboola (next week).

Please, enjoy yourself and be blessed. 😡

  193. #338 Nora, nawishiba ati Shakira ashala kuli ine. mwana niyesako – i just fly like an eagle when i dance. i flow – kaya ngati ungafikeko. **==

  194. #341, your fellow man had to strategise nicely to ensure that he short just the bottom of the girls, really looking for trouble. you are the same chaps who see chibelo chamu girls and you get an erection. Be man enough and discipline yourself, atase!

  195. #332. Nora
Do you dress like that yourself? Or do you have sisters that dress like that and that makes you very happy?
If that is what you enjoy that go to the bar and do it. There is no logic in the law puting a restriction on the entry to a pub and then you go in and take out to the public what was restricted, I dont see journalism in that kind of think, to me that is simply ‘error’.
Dont tell me that your parents would enjoy seing you and your sisters in that type of entire. If they would be happy with it then I would almost have an idea of what type of parents they are, and what family you could be coming from.
But then, it would be wrong to want all families to be like that.

  196. yaba! pa Zed, thus why Zed will never develop because its like most people think UNIP way. Civilisation guys please.

  197. Zambians are highly fashionable & they really know how to move with time. The clothes that these girls are wearing are in fashion and it all depends on how comfortable someone feels. You dont have to call parents names because because if we did we would be insulting all parents. no parent chooses to have a child for a robber, a prostitute,a womaniser, a defile and so name them & its wrong to think that if one person dresses otherwise then its the whole family at stake. otherwise it would be such a wonderful world to live in. we have some rich in society whose children a dander- heads & would you blame it on their parents? would you blame a parent for a child who gets pregnant while stil sku

  198. Fine, you are not a parent so you dont know what it is to be a parent. when you have children you will know that not all your children would want to be what you are. Its like someone busy into farming and saying he is doing it for his children and when he dies the children sell it because the dont wanna be farmers.
The girls in the pictures are above 18 and most likely dont live with their parents so dont insult their parents. Its good that LT is opening some people to some places where some dont touch otherwise people would live a lie.
anyway, you are entitled to your own opinion!

  199. traveling to JOZI and as soon as we reach Beit Bridge, Zambian ladies run to the showers b4 imigration proceedures. The return fresh, good breath, tender faces with makeup and lip stick as if they are just boarding the bus from home. Some have even changed to fresh clothes. And South African imigration officer says, “Zambians are smart, they are clean people, you want to enter their busy to inspect”, these other buses want to eat their rice and drink their tea that they carried on the bus from home before brushing even their teeth”. True story but typical of Zambians, please dont degrade us, and colonise us – we want to move with Fashion and time if we can. whats the money for?

  200. #296 Nora, you’re lucky it’s now 2009 & I don’t make war with women, I make love to them, so I will forgive you for those remarks. If it was a dude, I would make sure he regretted to have ever started a fight with me. Live good.

  201. In any case, the choice on how to dress is one’s. Some of you pipo spend time the whole day on PCs whilst on duty, and the same pipo complaining about low production, instead of putting more effort on to your work than spend company’s money online just blogging silly things. Some of us internet is very affordable ni nearly free broadband the whole month no seperate fees. So stop wasting company money and time to be talking rubbish on the intenert. contribute constructively. This is not a chat site., Utulo.

  202. #348. Rashid Jones
So when you look at those pictures what you see is civilisation?
No wonder we can’t move forward, we tend to think anything observed from western imorality is called civilisation.
What civilisation do you find in indecent exposure?
I cant blame you, it is the person who defined the word ‘civilisation’ to who misguided you.
We embrace everyhting with no understanding at all, and we come up with all types of definitions.
I would like to believe if the western guys came up with walking naked in pubs and called it ‘pub fashion’, we would take is to the street and call it ‘modern fashion’ replacing the word ‘pub’ with ‘modern’.

  203. #354. nebo
I have said it before on this discussion that people tend to think that what they do others also should be doing.
Who told you that like you, everyone on this blog uses company money.
You view everybody as an employe? Anyway that is how most Zambian have defined educational success; if you can find good employement.
We have never, viewed it differently that is why we are calling on investors to come and employ us.

  204. # 356 Fine!, that is civilisation at its best if you dont know. allow people to put on what they are comfertable with. You can only advise kids on what to wear not big people like those in the pictures. Please nakupapata, leave those ladies and the picture alone.Twapenga badala

  205. ..For the MTV generation standards of decency are not ‘cool’, and to conform is to exist!

Next they will be campaigning for legalisation of prostitution and the removal of censorship on TV, not to mention pornographic magazines and books. All in the name of democracy, progress and modernisation of course!

  206. I hear all those saying it’s fashion.

But let us protect weak men. A lot of otherwise decent men have committed sexual crimes after being aroused by such dressing, especially after drinking. We men are moved by sight. Once those hormes flush a man’s blood, the mind is confused and all the chap can think of is sex.

Please cage such women or put chitenge round them. They are a danger to men. I guese they dress like that to provoke men. A married woman would not go out dressed like that. Would you say she is not fashionable?

  207. Thank you Rashid Jones. Will you marry me? and be father to my children? i dont want no man who can colonise me.

  208. Men should learn to be men enough. some men see baby in diapers they get aroused. that is no passport or excuse to crime. i will go campaigning for such evil men to be castrated otherwise they are a real danger to society.
i will call for Vitendeni, Vijubeni! **== it should not take the world to impose bobbit belts for such culprits.

  209. #360. Rashid Jones
I have completely been unable to follow this discussion, or you are easily getting lost.
No one has descouraged anybody from wearing what they want. What we are saying is that you dont get atire from the pubs or any othere restricted place and bring it to public domain where viewership is unrestricted, a site like LT where you find all age groups viewing and visting. My contention is not those ladies and their collegues whose morals are already damaged and vandalised. We talk for the sake of the young youngs and those that do not want this staff brought to them.
You can’t stop any creature that enjoys swimming in mud, but you can stop it brushing mud on you.

  210. “You can’t stop any creature that enjoys swimming in mud, but you can stop it brushing mud on you.”

    Excellent!

  211. #365, no Gender Crises here…. where have i said i am a man? i am a woman through and through. indeed these loose and wicked men need to be caged. Being drunk is no execuse to raping or defiling. Why not stop the lager if its failing you. its common especially of HIV/AIDS infected civilised and uncivilised male defiling babies hoping for the cure. its because of the looseness and drunkness that they got infected and cant accept the consequences of their past deeds. Some do it for riches (lazy bastards!) others for pleasure! shame! some have it at home and cant just go have on a silver plate.**==

  212. Suppose Mr Mpombo was dancing with the scantily dressed woman (assuming it was the wife). I am sure they would be an outcry right now.

Mrs Mpobo is decently dressed. She’s married and rightly portrays a typical Zambian woman and culture. I am sure every decent Zambian man would like to go dance with a wife dressed like that. I wonder how many men on this blog can take one of those half-dressed women to be their wife – “I do thee wed, till death do us part” Oh boy, you surely would die fast.

  213. I read #369 with interest. Mrs Mpombo can not go to Pollo Grill dressed the way she is and i dont think Mr/Mrs Mpombo can go watch Kmillian, JK, Petersen and them, til downs do us part. They would definately feel out of place. Those who live in Lusaka can bear me witness that the Mpombos can not fit in at Times Cafe but we have young intelligent young couples enjoying themselves, its their time. Young couples go to Shantemba for the dance and too it depends how you are the hubby relate and love to do your thing. i had neighbours who are now in Chicago, him and my hubby would arrange for an outing and true story we would go for the dance and meet with matured couples there, so good & nice.

  214. Any one remember when Tshala Mwana gave us a peek?
As disgusting as picture # 4 is its not any different to what my local paper THE SUN has on page 7 of a drunk english girl with her dress up to her waist in the name of new year.
Thats this generations ways of celebrating.

  215. Is it in Norway or Finland where men who BUY sex will be prosecuted.
How many men do not kerb crawl in their red light districts?

  216. “Is it in Norway or Finland where men who BUY sex will be prosecuted.
How many men do not kerb crawl in their red light districts?”

    No373

    In Norway/Finland or generally?

  217. None a di gal dem pon di fotos ready fe me. Dem look worse than second hand! Me coulda neva slam dem, not even after 2 spliff & some Smirnoff Ice!

  218. #355 girlie girlie, I’m afraid LT is the wrong forum for me to go into such details…meet me in the club if you’re really interested.
