  1. You see, even their own Govt know these crooks !! We Zambians fall for anything !! This policy must be revised before people become victims of money hungry investors.

  2. Is this not what we have been telling our own government? May they Good Lord give us wisdom to stand up for what is right, and knowledge to work hard for our nation.

  3. With that said the Chinese gvenment should open up channels for Zambian business men to invest in Chinese companies in China and Africa; lets say the whole world.

  4. Whether you like them or not, we all have to admit the Chinese have done alot for the Zambian infrastructure.

  5. We must expose Banchwii for the sly little punks that they are. those chaps can reproduce faster than rabbits. by the time you wake up, they will demanding an autonomous region

  6. Sounds good. I know that so far credible Chinese mines like NFCA have so far not retrenched any worker unlike other mines e.g Mopani and KCM who have kept on sweet talking our government that they wont retrench but goes on to offload as it happened just yesterday where more than 500 people lost their jobs at Mopani.

  7. I regret the status of things in my country. Why cant we learn to do things for ourselves? Out of that abundance we have in natural resources and the rest yet its our people who are victims of poverty, abuse and all that. Iam now lost and without words because thats the only country i have…but now largely owned by chinese.

  8. These pipo are horrible, let them leave Zambia alone. I just dont like the way they treat the workers, zambian work force.

  9. Mopani lied to the GRZ that they were not going to retrench any workers, but news has come that hundreds have lost their jobs today

  10. The Chinese must understand that while the country might be going through difficult times currently its people are from a proud nation. They must learn to respect the people and culture of Africa and Zambia if they want a future in this country.

  11. Comment: Lyk they say, there are many ways of killing a rat. Its high tym the Zambian government knw hw to handle issues. Copper prices, load shading & depreciation of the kwacha are nt reasons enough for more than 4,000 people to lose their jobs. Is their load shading in Congo D.R??? Wat abt its currency in relation to the kwacha??? coz Glencoe wants to suspend operations in the two neighbouring countries. Political leaders b4 u start politicizing this issue look at a mistake by (1). learning frm it (2). admit it (3). ignore it.

  12. Comment: The Zambian government shouldn’t sale this country which was given to God by our first Republican President Dr. Kaunda & Our second Republican President F.T.J Chiluba may his soul rest in peace to people who don’t respect the biblical principals upon which this land is layed Jst for bread. Poverty levels are increasing everyday when the Chinese investors are coming everyday. Can’t u people c that they are coming with rotten groundnuts which are pleasant to the eyes & noise bt they’re poisonous to the mouth & the stomach????
