Muna Wins Zambia Intl Rally (updated)

Muna Singh breezed past Muhammad Essa on the final stretch to win this years Zambia International Rally.

Essa had enjoyed the lead in the race over the last 72 hours but a broken driveshaft saw him lose his 6 second lead over Muna drop to number two and see the latter win the Zambia International Rally by 15 seconds.

Muna clocked a final round total 2hrs, 43 min and 37 sec to collect his third Zambia rally crown.

Essa on the other had finished crossed the finish line in 2nd place  with a time of 2hrs, 43 mins, 52 sec.

3rd was Africa rally Championship leader Jamie Whyte of Zimbabwe with a time of 2hrs, 50 mins, 09 secs.

Whyte leads the ARC drivers leadership table on 30 points, followed by Muna on 23 while Essa is 3rd on 15.5 points.

The next ARC rally will be the Zimbabwe Rally from August 28-30.

  1. These are old cheaps driving, some should even be in a oldage home, if there was one in Zed, Jamie Whyte and Muna were racing when , I was 7 years old, and now I ‘m almost 34.
