  1. :d/ 🙁 the man on the car,the candidate just looks so not confidante showing he has already lost, awe MMD has failed people please do not vote for them,if they vote for them fipuba fye seriously.:(,mr RB no words please from me to you:-?

  2. The boy in pic#15 is the real face of Zambia.. poverty at its best .. it really irks me… my foot!!!!!!!:o:o:o:o8->8->8->

  3. Pic15 – What a beautiful little boy. God Bless him. I hope he has a successful future.

It is not right for any child to walk around in tatters.

  4. Nomba ba LT ine mulan papusha nokunsekesha mwe. While your friend was busy trying to get the best shots of the event imwe you were busy taking shots of his a$$?? I think your camera man was admiring his posture!

  5. Humanity at its lowest. The politicians can spend many on big shows like this – the money to fuel the heli, the money to print shirts of ourselves, money for police protection, the list can go on and on. Money being spent that could be used to feed the ka little boy, send him to school and the leftover cash, buy him some clothes.

  6. Pic#15
Hunger written all over his face, already feeling a lump on my throat. And s.t.u.p.i.d minister called chilembo has even the courage to say inclunding a right to food is utopian, how f.o.o.l.i.s.h.

  7. Picture number 15 guys does not befit ‘One Zambia One Nation’ Does any of those twins for RB look as this kid on picture 15? :(( Am all tears

  8. OH NO NO NO !!! Please ba LT I need you to give me the correct address on how I can get in touch with the BOY in Picture 15, Phone Number if possible…. I can not accept to see this kind of situation in my life for our future generation… I presume the whole world has watched this embarassing picture. What a sad and an inoncent boy s life is this ? Nde pukunya fye no umutwe, Nshya lale bwino padi uyu umwana mwe !
Efyo life yadi chinja ba ZED ?

  9. :(( yaba…..utu nyau nato twalecinda pakumona ba mwine baisa nabekuta babikapo nama choaclate yaku NAMIBIA. one wonders what the poor Nyau dancers ate . this is what we call ICHIMPWENA nangu UKUFWILA ICHANYONGOLO apashili nefyo ulesendapo. ukushipula BA MUCHIME WORK UP.

  10. # 17 dont be surprised my brother /sister thats what you expect to see in our villages and yet they use the same poor and under norished people to rigg the elections POOR ME is there anybody to help? LESA AKATUKANDILAPO.

  11. Zedian Pipo just have a look at those villagiers in Milanzi surelly What can you say about hem? Come on guys

  12. Why is RB wearing chitenge with the words “Building on the promise”? What promise? I thought they (the MMD) made it clear that that they had done away with it

  13. #picture 15 and the feeding mother are a reflection of poverty in the land we call “land of work and joy and unity”. We have never had wars. what is wrong with us. Rwanda is even much better than us. God have mercy on Zambia. My hearts bleeds for these poor. Ba LT, open an account for the boy in picture #15 and display in here and I will in a kwacha.

  14. The pictures tell the story about development that has been done thru Banda FTJ and he rest, did he even see the small boy on the last picture. KUTI WATUKANA PALAST ATI THE ECONOMY HAS GROWN MY A.S.S

  15. pictures pictures is that all you can show us we need real life in zambia not only politicals real life that is what weneed

  16. Picture # 15 would really bring tears to many a dry eye! where have we gone wrong mwe Lesa! Suffer not the little children, mukayapya mwanya! You even go to claim your per diem after meeting such a boy. Chankalipa!

  17. Ba zzanimuone @ #22, I second your idea.. Ba L.T kaleza please do something about that boy. We will support him all the way.. I will send whatever I can as this pic makes my heart bleed… aweee, this is bad, in this modern world someone to live like that is totally unacceptable… Please L.T do something abouut this boy.. ala mwandi………..:-c:-c**==

  18. I wonder what goes in the minds of RB and his fellow MMD folks when they see that boy in pictures # 15 last picture.God please help us, there is seriously poverty in our Country and all those plundering little resources we have in the country have got no hearts for human suffering, and its very sad that same poor folks across the country continue to vote for their masters who ignore their needs and subject them to poverty like that, damn

Revolutionary salutation for the marginalized zambians.

  19. PICTURE 15 TELL THE STORY OF GOOD GOVERNCE OF MMD. Senior Citizen, MMD chief bot, Mr Capitalist,kc and other fellow MMD cadres is not true? Come on guys

  20. L.T. Please help me to find ways to get in touch with this boy pic 15. Please I’m on my knees. I know that a lot of people are suffering in Zambia but he has caught my heart. You have my email address. Please if you can manage. When I saw it, I wept.

  21. Very informative pictures.

I’m glad LT featured pic 15 for everyone to see the other (bigger?) side of reality in Zambia. I personally appreciate the emotions and sense of responsibilty aired by fellow bloggers upon seeing the pic. It is only when people feel moved to do something that the whole purpose of information on this site makes sense. Let those who can do something for the suffering do what they can and God help them. It is more blessed to give than to receive.

  22. # 15 How dare these *****s even fly in Helicopters amidst such poverty ? Do they not see the people suffering ? my heart bleeds

  23. LT, my wife and I are deeply touched by picture 15. We would like to find ways of getting in touch with this boy just as Kadya has mentioned. Please email us. You have our email. We believe this picture has been put on your site for a purpose.

  24. LT I take full responsibility for what I wrote about picture 15 and I meant it , How can we have such poverty ? Its un acceptable

  25. And to make matters worse, obviously this boyin #15, walks bare foot, no shoes, one wonders what he covers at night, if he has a blanket at all… this is not good… the gap between the poor and the rich continues to grow wider…… why ba Zambia kanshi??:o8->

  26. the little boy really needs help! Politicians and pastors have seen this 4to but it doesnt bother them at all, I just dont like these words that starts with a P………………….they ve no hearts 4 the poor while they live luxury lives at the xpense of tax payers and tith pays!!!!!! God help Us!!!!!!!!!

  27. Do we have anyone here with aviation business knowhow, please give us rough idea how much it costs to fly this king of a chopper per mile. In uk Brown is campaigning to be re-elected in 3 weeks time, now despite his country being light years ahead of us he would never make a mistake of flying a chopper because that would the end of him. Ever since this dude came into power he’s stopped using other modes of transport other than flying. A proper leader would have opted to go by road to experience first hand whats happening on the ground but that would be expecting too much from’ Mr Holiday is forever’. Poor us we dont deserve this man surely.

  28. LT balance is the key.IS mmd the only party having rallies in Milanzi? Its common sense that you are for MMD.15 PHOTOS MMD,RB AND CARDES

  29. People who are in MMD on this blog, the staunch supporters that is, i think we all know them, last time LT carried a story on the economy of Zambia, and many of you talked about figures that didnt make sense to some of us engineers. But the bottom line is that you implied that the economy had picked. Does the last picture in the photos above still make you say that the economy had picked? Did your former MP of Milanzi do anything to upgrade the standards of living of that boy, and yet you shamelessly still go back to ask the mother to that boy to dance for RB and after that vote for him! come on guys lets have human hearts!

  30. Its great not to have views of MMD Dogs bachimwe as these pictures illustrate the failures of the ruling hyenas veteran and the likes,u all know who i mean.#1 engines shut your smelly mouth.i wonder y the dancers covered their faces.Got some info stating that big nose RB would be arrested if he ever came to the uk as he is on sex register offender list.I just want to reiterate that big nose RB has never been to the UK,one of the most important countrys in the developed world, given the love he has for travelling.

  31. Let them stay poor, they deserve it! Lazy ass ppl who don’t work hard and always expect the govt to take care of them. It is these illiterate people who always vote for non-performing bastards.

  32. # 43 that’s rough and a hard one but to say the truth these people are only remembered during voting time after elections everyone forgets them. The homes for street kids are very full if the church does not do anything about it then they are left to die with hunger. people have been singing to the government to bring back the or turn the national service camps to home for the homeless or poor, then they can work on the national service farms in that way they will be taking care of themselvies and increasing production of food in the country. But no one cares they only think about there pockets

  33. FACE OF POVERTY! WHAT XACTLY IS POVERTY? NO NICE CLOTHES? THAT KID’S MOTHER HAS BATHED HIM AND HE LOOKS LIKE HE IS WELL FED. NOW, YOU TELL ME THE MEANING OF POVERTY? ZAMBIANS! KAPONYA BALI MUPELA VISA YAKU UK NA KU STATES AND STILL NI KAPONYA AND KOMBONAS FULLU PA LT! THE REAL ZEDIANS LIVE IN ZED STILL NOT WIPNG AMAFI. ABENA.

  34. Well said toko.you never understand y these people always vote for the same idi0ts always. Poverty is really bad and MMD has been bouncing back because of poverty.by promising people food and other developmental items that are not even achieved, MMD has been able to take on these people easly. Our country will never see change if MMD continues being like this.

  35. Picture #7 should not have occupied the space. Twilasebanya abafyashi. The one who took this picture should look for other things otherwise I don’t like the picture period.

  36. Picture # 15 is also about exposing ubupina bewsu. Honestly, in a Christian nation, full of people who profess to be Christian and Bible believing people, can we fail to obey Christ’s words where He says “I was naked and you didn’t dress me” If the boy was my child, I would sue the photographer for this.

  37. To the Cameraman who braved the heat on LT assignment. Kindly reach me on my log in email with details of the youngman in the picture.I pledge to sponsor this kid until his UNIVERSITY.

  38. #15 is really touching. How many of such young boys and girls are there in mother Zambia? We need to do something and if anyone who has the know-how can start a fund that will go to help such, I will surely sponsor without thinkinh twice. Very sad picture indeed

  39. Pic 4-Ba LT naimwe why just photographing amatako yamuboiz uyo of all things shuwa.Awe kwena limo mulampapusha.:-?

  40. I even lost my appetite Ba LT was the tit shot in pic 8 necessary? Miss Daisy that was really funny you made my day

  41. THERE WAS NOTHING LIKE THAT IN KK s time amagage its terrible i almost went into tears that innocent boy if educated can make a very good doctor or layer and somebody is cheating people that he will build schools hospitals and what so ever come on that photo ? 15 needs to be taken to parliament and to RB of course so that he should see look at these MMD they came to power only to bring sufferings street-kids , cholera and high mortality and death rate mmd you have failed don’t even argue you guys you are satanist who enjoy seeing the under prevailed in rags and die of hunger i don’t belong to any political party but am just concerned with the welfare of the Zambian people its so terrible and heartbreaking Zambia…

  42. LT please fall up this picture 15 for a boy, contact my email address, I need to offer something for the boy. Kindly identify this child’s parents and send me details together with the picture in July 2010, I am travelling to Zambia for a holiday.

  43. LT,
Please please please ASAP contact me with details of the child in the picture you got from Milanzi. I earnestly pledge to sponsor this kid into hope so help me God.Will be added to the list of those on my active World Vision support. To whom much is given, much is expected. Faithful God has spared me from such and i have the moral duty to remember this life.Though truth must be told that this poverty is not allien to those of us that have travelled and lived in our villages. To say this poverty is new, is lying. In the 70s through 80s i saw same poverty among the underprivileged villagers. But its time we collectively fought this poverty for common dignity other than playing the holy than though gigs.

  44. Senior Citizen ## 53
Day dreamer. the other day you were saying RB has brought development the economy is booming. Today you are now teasing that the youngman in the picture.I pledge to sponsor this kid until his UNIVERSITY. So many street kinds in Lusaka go there and sponsor them until UNIVERSITY with you hardworkin MMD Govt

  45. Come 2011 MMD will lose elsewhere except in Eastern province. The people in that province take time to appreciate change. Torn clothes and dirty water and all, they will still retain Bwezani. I know because I come from there!

  46. The point people miss is that there are hundreds of kids like that in milanzi thousands around Zambia. This week a read an article one of the participants in TOUR D’AFRIQUE which is donating bike to some african countries they have been cycling from kenya. the man said ZAMBIA HAD THE MOST DEPRESSING POVERTY and they have been through kenya Tanzania and Malawi, the man was depressed from the sheer level of poverty in rural areas.
#43 IF THAT BOYS PARENTS ARE LAZY WHAT CAN HE DO ABOUT IT REALLY AT THAT AGE?
AND IF THEY ARE ILLITERATE WHO SHOULD WE BLAME? ITS NOT EVERYONE WHO IS LAZY MY FRIEND SOME ARE BUT SOME ARE VICTIMS

  47. # 60,
Your lack of reasoning is self dehumanizing. Nations are systems and the development they realize are systemic other than sporadic. Which miracle Presidency can overturn the 45 years old social upheavils within 1 year????? RB and his administration has demonstrated beyond argument that he belongs to the rational actor model any systemic analysis would prove right.Keep holding on to your utopia that there is a magic bullet to the many challenges Zambia has been trapped in.It will take rational actors with a systemic approach in national economic development. Its not populism, xenophobia, tribalism, barabarism, insultology or 90 days utopia that will unlock our country. The liberation era damage and marxist groupthink failed us and cannot work in contemporary society.

  48. The country is on the right path of prosperity and hope is about to be with every citizen.I challenge PF Kaponyas to debate on how their utopian populism would do it better than RB. Explicate how you would overturn the 45 years old Grandscale national wide social upheavil from border to border of this hospital nation.

  49. LT, could you please find the boy in pic #15 for me. I would like to help. The picture of the poorly dressed boy has made shed tears. There is a very sad story behind that face. I know there are other children like him sufering. Please quote “Boy in Picture”.

  50. Fellow Zedians what you have seen in pic 15 is a very common site in our rural areas. even adults dress in tatters. You find adult male with trousers that are torn on the backside. When we complain about poverty others give us book theories about GDP growth, chinese coming to Zambia bla bla bla. How are we developing if others cant afford decent dressing.

  51. Those who’ve pledged may God bless you including you SENIOR CITIZEN i.e if you’re not just playing pranks as often. LT please follow this case and update us in due course. Please don’t just stir people’s emotions and forget about the boy, i’ll keep on reminding you.

  52. #15 This is reason I hate African. Look the mug is flying in a chopper in another picture yet we have this boy who shouldnt have even been at this stupi d rally. This boy should have been in class or revising in a cosy classroom wearing bling bling.[-([-([-([-([-([-([-([-([-([-([-([-([-([-([-(

  53. #53 Guys bushe ichicimuntu chaliba normal ichi? Sponor who you idi ot? How many children like this boy in Zambia are you going to sponsor?

Where is chi MMD Chiefbootlicker? Where is the dim Mr Capitalist? Hypocrites who only comment when it suits them? How about the stup id economy growing crap?

  54. There is no drama at all into pledging our responsibility into the boy in picture 15, LT must take this serious and I will be more than happy should LT contact me. This does not take on counting our GDP with our fake theories, we must be concerned as Zambians for the love of God.

  55. #70 Mangelepa. There are plenty children like this boy in picture #15. You don`t need LT to find one. Chances are they won`t even find him or they will find 5000 with this area. Stop rubbing it in. If you go by road to Milanzi from Lusaka and find less than 100,000 kids like this, I will take over paying for this child.

This is not funny at all and to ridicule people like this by asking LT to find this boy is plain stup idity I think.

  56. LT.. YOUR TRUE COLOURS COMING OUT NOW! YOU AN MMD MACHINE! WE ARE TOO SMART THIS TIME AROUND, WE KNOW WHERE THE REAL VOTES OUGHT TO GO!

  57. Am not against the idea of supporting the boy in pic 15 but one thing we should remember is there are thousands if not millions of children who are in that boy’s situtuation.I recommend that befor someones flies Eastern province to see hom kindly pass thru Chibolya compound its just few metres from the main town and see the situation for your self. How i wish someone could come up with a proper solution that would cover even those who are not ‘previledged’ enough to be captured by LT

  58. “And so president Levy Mwanawasa figures that poor Zambians who cannot afford to educate the children they bring into the world should keep their zips up. He cannot understand why the majority poor people in the country do not know better than to involve themselves in activities whose by-product is children. Leave sex to us the rich damn you …”

“if people can’t afford to take care of their children, they should not have children”. “Next they will be asking government to clothe their children,” President Levy Mwanawasa, Post Newspapers 26th August 2007

  59. Pic # 4 the guy is stepping on the wrong part with his right foot. That thing can break. The Vehicle has ladders where his left foot is that are to be used for getting to the roof rack.

  60. SC #63: Out of those 45 years of arrested growth and retarded development, 22 have been under MMD’s watch. So your overnight claim is pure manure. Go back to grade school!

  61. I’ve just shown pic number 15 to my son who’s trying to behave spoilt, and it has taken him aback. Thanx to you ba LT he has finally put a face to the hardships of this earth. That poor little boy has just reminded me to be even more grateful for all the things we take for granted. God bless his heart.

  62. poverty poverty poverty. There is alot of kids like that in Zambia, that boy in tatters even looks kasako, there kids in Zed that are worse of than he is. MMD’s economy is growing, yeah right, building a shopping centre is not development if you ask me.

  63. #63 Senior Citizen. Your political party has been in power for almost 20 years now, can you please tell us what your s.tupid party has done for the people in terms of poverty eradication. You keep saying RB has only been in power for 1 year, so what? Your Rb campaigned on continuity, that means poverty eradication was already in progress but surprisingly we still have people like the boy in pic#15. So please spare us from the Bull.$hit of saying Rb has only been in power for one year, it doesnt matter who the president is, what matters is what the ruling party is doing, RB is simply the `face` of that group of i.diots that cant come up with soulutions for that boys pathetic situation. 20 years is enough time to change the face of a country, but has MMD (Not RB) done that?

  64. LT like other bloggers i’m interested in helping the boy in picture 15. No child should have to go around in tatters without any hope for a future.

  65. Ba Mumbwe! Abantu bamipela ama votes elo muleikalika abana babo nensala sure? PIC 15 is very heart breaking! umwana ne chani ku kamwa sure? Chi RB you’re even bragging about being a president, you can’t even feel ashamed of yoself. Mwatwala kwisa insoni kanshi? if i were u , i wouldn’t even go to ask for votes that side bcoz my guilt can’t allow me, nomba imwe mwalibula insoni mwapela imbwa! shame!!! [-([-([-([-([-([-(:-\”:-\”:-\”:-\”:-\”

  66. Pic 4. What is the photographic importance of a guy climbing a pick-up vehicle and showing us his back-side?
Pic 15. A grim reminder of why we need to stop politicking and focus on developing our country.

  67. Kindly Please Can you give me the Name And Address of the Boy No- 15 What do you think you are doing by expossing this Boy like this. Violet Sydney. Australia

  68. LT thanks for your professional shots. A call on you please, aTrust Fund people like baby girl in pic 7 and for the boy in pic 15 would a noble cause for a company like yours. We shall support you. Whoever was the photographer should take this as compliment and challenge.

  69. bloggers you all have at least one relative like this poor child in zambia. some are you own brothers or sisters. what have you done to help?
of course not withstanding the government’s overall responsiblities

  70. Please stop pretending 92 is right, its not like all this will go away when Sata comes into power. That is what I hate about most blogger rubbish sympathy which is politicised, however we should upload those who want to make a difference in the boys life, not those who will attack RB for flying because the boy is naked Nonsense. Come here to Mzansi and you will see that child is even more dressed than some boys here. That is reality and dont try and make a mountain out of an anthill. God will judge you harshly for being hypocrites. I hope all your relatives are dressed and warm before you go and become heroes in other peoples homes.
