  1. If you are sure of an easy victory then stop nagging Sata and HH. and where are you going to get voters who will give you an easy victory? In mars or Jupiter?

  2. Zambian presidents really enjoys keeping election date as a secrete, it happened with Lazo,Levy and now RB.It seems MMD has a very bad contagious disease. It doesnt matter wether elections are held before or after September,as long elections are held this year, it is bye bye to the corrupt thieves!!

  3. People please use your vote wisely you need change in Zambia we do not not need any one to play drums o understand this, change is happening near you why not Zambia?

  4. If u are not wise this year, corruption will even reach your household. Hope there is change this year. Campaign through your relatives.

  5. As long as VJ is still alive, MMD will win this year’s elections. After all, they have succeeded in breaking up the PF-UPND PACT. With the PACT out of the way, and VJ around, it is victory for RB and the MMD. If you do not believe me now, let’s talk about it after elections

  6. The intelligent PF leader Sata was right when he said the election will be held before October 2011. Spot on Sata, you know what you are doing man!!!

I am proud of Zambian democracy!!!!

  7. Change cannot come to Zambia with old and recyled politicians like Sata, what a change. Sata has outlived his usefulness and should be thinking of retiring and give chance to young people like HH with progresive ideas to run the affairs of this country.

  8. 5…London …………..Yes we need cange especially in the opposition. Time for RAFFIANS like SATA are not needed but intelligent people like HH, Milupi and Chipimo. Sata is a disgrace to the Zambian community and i can assure you he will never be president.

  9. Kadobi.

Then why do you blog using alias’s?

Senile old man who thinks he will never be found out.

    LIAR!
    Go retire old man.
    Solwezi still laughs at you.

  10. 7 time for change……………..everyone talks about corruption, can you define corruption and for your own information, corruption will only end if the Church stopped it and not any president around. Today the church is the most corrupt body in Zambia. Never cheat yourself that sata will end corruption when he himself is the most corrupt person in zambia, refresh your memories….who caused the resignation of Mwanawasa from government in 1994???? who caused expulsion of the MMD gem in 2001? Dont use hatred but think soberly and objectively. The only politician who throughout has demonstrated maturity free of corruption the person zambians dont like becoz he tells the truth and this General Miyanda(you will never find any dent throughout his tenure in govt.) wake up sata is not the one

  11. No.1. HH is an undercover MMD member. Wake up you chaps and read in between the lines. After RB wins this years election in a big way, HH will be vice president. Then RB will hand over power to HH in his fouth year of re-election. Watch the space ba kapuli. I know politics is not for every Jim & Jack open you eyes bane…or ask VJ.

  12. Sata is not presidential material, though he uses his rhetorics and populist approach to appeal to many of us. Believe me no one president can give people money in their pockets in 90 days, create jobs and end poverty within three months. We are a big population, What strategy and how is that attenable? Not even in the US or China. Food for thought, if Sata can convince me how, i guarantee him my vote and if only he changes tones down, no insults and jokes on serious times

  13. From reading blogs being posted HH seems to be winning the elections. However, I have not heard his campaign strategy to reach all the areas of Zambia. HH can carry the day he has so many factors indicating to this possibilty but he needs strategy. There is no time please identify UPND parliamentary candidates in all 150 constituencies now and sell your ‘Zambia Forward’ plan. People need to know where you are taking them

  14. # 15. You are spot on. General Miyanda would have been the best person to rule Zambia. It is very unfortunate this will never happen. He is too straight to be appreciated by Zambians. My heart bleeds for mother Zambia. For now, of those that have come forward HH is more appealing. HH draw out a serious campaign plan and cirulate. There is no time

  15. sata is a waste tribalist supported by fellow tribalists and good for nothing lazy loafers. why does sata fail to get votes from west south central east north west its bcos pipo know him as a bemba lumpen

  16. #1 mule says- The Mungomba Commission recommended that the date should be included in the Republican Consititution, but the money mongers rejected it at the so cdalled NCC. It is one of the RIGGING steps by the MMD. They can only announce the date when it suits them, like now that the PACT has crumbled. He has tentatively put September in order to give him chance to assess, HH and Sata as Presidents of their respective- parties how much chance each has of winning the election. Should he sense danger, he will defitely push it to December so that the opposition will have difficulties in their campaigns because of rains. If the situation favours him he may even call the election as early as August or even July.

  17. #16
Tonga Bull- There is more to it than you have stated. Watch out for the next 3 days- business matters- I end there

  18. Do we really need politicians? Imagine the huge resources going for elections, campaigns for all parties. If the monies could go into development what a great nation this would become. May we all start thinking in these lines. We have the civil service which is capable of doing the mandate. The rest is duplication of duties. This has been proved beyond measure each time parliament is dissolved. In fact let RB continue just vote for MPs ne need to waste resources for companying when its obvious mmd will carry the day. Reduce the ministers, no need for DCs. RB your term work hard and find a suitable leader may be HH…….I know FP hates this… fine

  19. Zambians!!!!! Vote wisely. Vote objectively. Or else posterity will never forgive us. “One Zambia One Nation”

  20. #24 you are talking good, tell the Diasporas above to keep quiet, coz they aint gone vote, but vote for their own sh.it in toilet. tired of their blogs

  21. Seriously election date shouldn’t taken like rocket science, everyone and all stakeholders must know this very important date. All Zambians are important stakeholders who must plan ahead for this date and so are all political parties who need to do the same. So govt must stop being elusive about this issue and simply enshrine this day in the republican constitution possibly make it a public holiday as well. RB kuyabebele, zwa!

  22. My appeal to my brothers from the Nothern parts of Zambia to stop supporting Sata,he is not material for president. Find someone better please. Groom some young men and start scouting now, in the mean time since its late to sell anyone for this election Vote for HH in this year’s election.
