Woman strips naked to prove her innocence

Share

Business at Senama market in Mansa District came to a halt last evening when a pregnant woman stripped naked in the market shelter after she was accused of stealing a Fifty Thousand Kwacha by her fellow trader.

The woman decided to strip naked after she failed to convince her accuser that she had not stolen the money.
The duo was selling vegetables at the market when they picked up a quarrel after one of them lost a K 50,000 and accused her friend of stealing the money.

ZANIS reports that after a prolonged argument, the woman who accused her counterpart of having stolen the money demanded that her friend produces all the money she had so that she could identify her K 50, 000 note.

It was at this point that the accused woman decided to strip naked in the full view of people who had gone to watch them argue and those that went to buy assorted items.

She told ZANIS that that she stripped naked to show her accuser that she did not steal her money. One of the on lookers who sort anonymity said it was shameful for a woman to resort to stripping naked in presence of men and children at the market.

She said it was unjustifiable for the accused woman to remove all her clothes in public even if she was pressurized by her friend.

Meanwhile, other women expressed displeasure at the event but condemned the woman who had accused the other of stealing the money for not listening to her friend’s explanation.

They said it would be more important for the women in question to settle their wrangles at the police station than reaching the extent of stripping naked in public.

  1. Is it by coincident that this market where the striping took place is called Senama? And by the way, since there seems to be women in Mansa so willing and eager to don the king’s new cloths (birthday suit) in public, maybe Sata should go there to find candidates as opposed to asking the MP for Matero to strip naked for him. Atase, chi Zondwe, what a s’e’x.u.al pervert!

  2. what the ****! honestly how can a normal woman strip, bushe libangeshi bapepa nangu bushe mano yachepa absolutly gutted men

  3. # 4. Leave LT alone. These Bembas are destroying the name of our country. In the morning Bembas this, noontime, Bembas this, evening Bembas that. Malabishi ya bantu! The one who stripped I think is not Bemba, it is only Bembas who think every one in a Kapoko. Even when you tell them am innocent, no one will hear you.

  4. Iwe no 3 you are an idot. How do you bring in either RB or Mr. Sata in this incident. If you have nothing to say ,keep your stinking mouth shut. This site is not for fools like you.

  5. When consequences of poverty and hardship show signs, some Zambians ignore and see it as fun. You judge a country from the way people live and treat each other. These are signs and symptoms of a failed state. when people are pushed beyond limit they are able to do anything to save themselves. When people lose trust of the police who then can save them. It is this times that we should all feel sad and sorry the way our people are now living. Every woman is a mother and we all should be guilty when things start turning this way. God have mercy on mother Zambia. Why mention tribes when something so sad is happening? It is a shame for all Zambians and men for failing to provide for women and children, making them vulnerable to abuse.

  6. kapachulu then practice humanism part I and one zambia one nation, no hassle. quit the tribal number, puleeeze!

  7. There was no need for this woman to strip naked. Probably the other woman was just jealous of the other woman’s daily takings and her marketing merchandise… kalijo ako.

A sad story and embarrassing story indeed..

  8. #9, I did not bring RB anywhere in my posting at #3, you must be a deluded imbecile seeing things that just aren’t there you lunatic. Further, Sata did ask his MP for Matero to strip in protest at the government’s suspension of the Lusaka city council so it was a logical parallel to draw between Zondwe’s instructions to his MP and this woman in Mansa’s incident. If you’re devoid of the ability to reason logically, and most of you silly Iturian moneys are, leave me out of your gutter, wabe tole pa musana!

  9. Iwe chikala “Ngombala Muhapi wa Linaha”dont think that you are sharp who can see all things, you are just an ***** who is a dangerous tribalist!
Am not Bemba but leave them alone-stanyoko!

  10. LT fetch better articles than this unprofessional unmerited story, are you sure she even pulled her pants down:-?:-?

  11. Maybe it is the latest fashion statement pa Zed, what about Given Lwensha and Mwenya Matafwali, these are men Ka!

  12. @ # 7 and 10 ulichipuba. Why do non BEMBA bloggers on LT have to owaz single out Bemba’s when someone with a name like Musonda,Mwape commit a crime?Do you morons understand that these names are also found in Luapula and Central provinces and there are no Bembas in those parts of Zambia.
Do you morons understand that FTJ is not Bemba as you claim to have given plot 1 to a Bemba.Did you morons do your Social Studies at School or do you even know the Map of Zed?
Grow up,its not our fault that we have proven to be more clever than you.

  13. “the on lookers who SORT anonymity said it was shameful for a woman to resort to stripping naked in presence of men and children at the market.”
Zambia News and Information Service (ZANIS) well, you have exceeded my expectations! Now the past tense of ‘seek’ is ‘sort.’

  14. #S 16 and 18, you are just like a stupid dog backing at flying birds. If you are thivies you have nothing to cover it with. Make ur crooked ways straight otherwise ur grandchildren will reap bitter pills. Where is Roman, Great Britain, Pesian, or Lunda Empires today? everything that goes up comes down
#29, all I can say is you know what you are talking about. Let those with poor self image tribes stand up for themselves than hiding in the Bembas.

  15. why do people always pick on bembas? leave bembas alone, there important isues in the country to talk about than all the time picking on bembas this shows how important bembas are in zambia. Zambia can not be a country without bembas please have some respect for bembas let me remind you that politics were born in northern province the province of bembas and today you can enjoy the freedom because of bembas full stop

  16. An innocent story turns into a full-fledged tribal fling! This is the tragedy of allowing grannies to run a country while the younger ones have no preoccupation but to go backwards into Cha Cha Cha and revive what is now an obsolete art. No wonder the Rwanda genocide happened in the 20th Century with 18th Century savagery. Kapachulu and his ilk are still dragging this 18th Century behaviour right up to the doorstep of modernity and progress. I am saddened indeed…

  17. to prove your innocence, some people go into extremes, its sad only a 50 pin, this is what poverty can do.

  18. This is what poverty can do. RB,GEORGE Leteni ulupiya lwa NCC.Poverty yalenga abantu baamba ukufula in public.

  19. LT, make me understand, do you really need to publish all these insults? I dont think there is anything cool about it. ‘course we all do cuss sometimes, but really printing these things is backward… Where the ef is the editor?

  20. LT you have removed my blogging where I blogged that JEAN AND SATA were not condemned by SATA/PF supporters when they advoted strpping by our hounarable PF MP and mother Jean Kapata. Are you one of the achictects in Zambia of what is to happen in future like what is happening in middle east by stffling right to free expression? I did not use insulting language.Have you also taken a position for SATA/PF against the rest?

  21. no11,i commend you for yr indepth thinking.for sure this is no laughing matter.its an index showing the levels of poverty in zambia.

  22. Lady Kim # 29 and Akapondo # 33. Why are you insulting? Is the blooger responsible for ur tribe? it is the history you have made for yourselves that is backfiring now? too bad! no place to hid. What goes up comes down.

  23. its also possible that she stole and hidden the note , where ladies? a woman who can do such a thing can also do what ??

  24. Kapachulu (7)

There is nothing tribal about the woman stripping and Mansa is an urban provincial centre and it si therefore unreasonble for you conclude it was a Bemba. Whatever the case, it is always useful to drop your biases and treat issue on a case by case basis!!!

  25. mwa kosamasana pakwamba pamuntu wavula stupid *****s dont even put this on the web you think you are running away from the creater? ba kolwe imwe mwanya amafi yenu. blue naked fools of all baboons in the amazon penisula.
