President Rupiah Banda
President Rupiah Banda

President Rupiah Banda has dissolved parliament and cabinet, and has set 20th September as the date for this year’s tripartite elections.

President Banda says after consulting the Electoral Commission of Zambia on all logistics for holding elections, he is satisfied that the country can hold the polls and has signed statutory instrument number 76 0f 2011 for holding the presidential and general elections.

President Banda has also signed statutory instrument number 77 of 2011 for the Local Government elections.

This means that both the Presidential, Parliamentary and Local government elections will be held on the same date.

But president Banda says he and the vice president will continue running affairs of the nation and representing Zambia in international affairs until another government is ushered into office.

The president has says state functions will continue to operate normally.

Mr Banda says the decision made is in line with the Zambian constitution.

He says permanent secretaries will help him run government while the police and the army will continue to safeguard Zambia’s sovereignty.

President Banda says Zambia’s stability is underpinned by peace, unity and economic development and there is need to ensure that the elections are violence free.

Mr Banda has called on all candidates and players in the elections to ensure adherence to election guidelines.

President Banda has drawn the attention to the revised electoral code of conduct to ensure that there is harmony during and after the elections.

President Rupiah Banda’s FACEBOOK STATUS

Rupiah Bwezani Banda:
“I am really happy that the country will be going to the polls on Tuesday 20th September. Why not join me on Monday for the MMD campaign launch at the Intercontinental Hotel here in Lusaka? Nafuti nafuti!”

=====================================================================================

President Banda says International observers are welcome to come and monitor elections in Zambia.

And President Banda says government has managed to develop the country.

He says the Zambia of 2011 is different from the Zambia of 2006 as the country’s economy over the last five years has grown to 6.6 per cent.

Government also managed to implement prudent fiscal and economic policies that saw the inflation rate plummet to a single digit.

The country also witnessed two consecutive bumper harvests under the leadership of the MMD government.

President Banda has thanked all cabinet ministers for their contribution to the economic gains made during the period.

President Banda also reminded the nation that over the period 2006 – 2011, the country lost two presidents, Dr Mwanawasa on August 19th 2008, and Dr Chiluba on 18th June 2011.

    • Don’t be too sure, are the ballot papers serially numbered?? who is in charge of printing them, last time they were printed in Durban South Africa VJ paid them a visit and MMD won, one would have expected someone from the ECZ to visit the printers. Not forgetting dead people are able to vote in most villages!!! will RB behave like Bagbo !!??? are we using transparent boxes or will the boxes come with votes pre-cast?? pray for our democracy

  1. According to my calender, there is no such date as reported, its either 20th sept or 27th sept which are tuesdays or it must be wed 28th sept, so which is which

  2. WELL DONE RB…TIME YOU ONLY HAVE A MONTH A WEEKS LEFT BEFORE YOU PACK YOUR KATUNDU. LILA LIMO MUKALAMBA WANDI PANTU THINGS WILL SOON BE BAD FOR YOU. VIVA PF VIVA SATA

  3. On my calendar, 28th September, 2011 is on a Wednesday and not a Tuesday. I think the president said Tuesday 20th September and not 28th. Anyway, whichever date is ok for me to go and kick Sata out of politics

  4. Much better as all the political players can plan ahead with their limited resources.May the best part cary the day………!

  5. Lusaka Times, the correct date is 20th September.

Whatever the case, GO MMD GO….This year MMD is winning with a landslide victory. NAFUTI NAFUTI.

  6. I head September 28, 2011 Tuesday. But when I checked my calendar, 28th is on Wednesday. Which is which. September 20th which is a Tuesday or Wednesday 28th which is a Wednesday? Ine siniziba manje kaya.

  7. In spoken language 20th may sound as twenty eighth. PLease see the written hand out, don’t confuse those who need to buy our tickets from far away lands to come and endorse the Real Change that has alluded Zambia for years.

  8. RB back to the farm with his old farming ideas ,running a country is not running a cabbage farm, UNIP is finally going

  9. Game on. Finish all your interviews in your homes and lets have the real battle . Let the battle for truth and destiny for Zambia begin. We are ready and our well oiled machine is already up to speed.

    Indeed let the battle begin

  10. Confusions already – 28th September is Wdnesday, is it Tuesday is 20th or what? If you cant beat them – confuse them!

  11. He said and I quote 28th September 2011 which is a Wednesday, RB and MMD are confused that their time to be bureied is finally known. Its like some on a death role who knows the date and time he be excuted, lelo lelo, PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF lets fo flat out into the rural and liberate our people. 12. WHY TUESDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER, IT SHALL BE A HOLIDAY ON TUESDAY, COUNTING AND DECLARING MP’S STARTS WEDNESDAY, NO WORK HEART ATTACKS, THURSDAY WE START GROUPING IN OUR SMALL ENCLAVES, FRIDAY POSSIBLE VIOLENT CRIES AND GNASHING OF TEETH. THE WHOLE WEEK WE SHALL BE AT WORK, BUT VERY LOW PRODUCTIVITY. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN THURSDAY SO WE REST AND PRAY FOR THE WINNER OVER THE WEEKEND.

  13. Actually elections have been set for September 20, 2011 not 28th. Whatever the case,  its ramble in the jungle. MMD is battle ready while others are still scrambling for who to nominate in constituencies around the country. They are busy imposing their kith and kins; tribesmen and women without a cooling period for their mess.

  14. He has also started packing his bags and refurbishing his farm house in Chipata and also servicing his jalopy.
    Wishing you happy retirement!

  15. I think RB’s pronunciation is at fault on the election date. I listened in and have recorded the speed. Sounded like 28th, but was 20th because of the Tuesday.

It is the way he pronounced twenty -yeth sounded like twenty -eighth

he needs a coach on how to speak clearly.

    SO Date is 20th September

  16. OOPs i’m also confused on the date of elections. The president said i repeat the elections will be held on 28th september,2011.But 28th is wednesday.20th is tuesday so which date is elections LT.I listened to the speech and 100% sure RB said elections will be held on 28th sep,2011.tuesday.ha ha ha Sata told u elections will be held on 27th september,2011 now rb is confuesed of saying it that’s why he said tuesday 28.

  17. Hey u guys dont comment if u dont understand chizungu,(The elections will be held on Tuesday 20th September 2011) and (President of the Republic of Zambia, has today Thursday July 28, 2011)

  18. All these muppets ranting above , will not even vote like me, just barking without any purpose, ridiculous if you ask me

I shall be in Paris that time shopping for my wedding clothes
Most of you will still be going to work in your jobs that dont pay as much as mine does

    Thanks

  19. 1 MONTH AND 23 DAYS ITS FINE FOR RB TO REST…………PF COME AND PROVE YOUR ACTIONS AS YOU COME WITH THE MAN OF ACTION MC SATA.

  20. 1 MONTH AND 23 DAYS ITS FINE FOR RB TO REST…………PF COME AND PROVE YOUR ACTIONS AS YOU COME WITH THE MAN OF ACTION MC SATA.

  21. Where are the PF kaponyas getting the date of 28th September 2011? Koma Zoona ndimwe masilu! Read correctly Its Tuesday 20th September! Sha amambala imwe.

  22. Could someone give us a timeline if the elections are to be held on the 20th

When the results are to be expected. The swearing expected and the cabinet named by?

Anyone smart enough to throw dates to the cause, I am hoping it does not affect my wedding date to my scottish fiance

    Thanks

    • That’s an impossible question to answer as results will likely be delayed, should the current president be trailing behind. Chances are they will finish counting the urban areas and push ghost voters in rural areas to ensure that RB goes through. But I hope your Scottish fiance is loaded and not too old, well he must be seeing you are going to Paris for shopping, its the age that worries us the!

    • Yah do you honestly have to insult, this is what Katele was talking about, political maturity starts from people like you! You are demanding political maturity from politicians what about you!!! From such comments its really sad, be objective and grow up!!! ati mwaba mu diaspora!! bad manners!!!

  23. The Opposition have been calling for it, and he has given it to them, less than 2 months away.
Most have not even announced lists of parliamentary candidates!!!!
Lets hear them complain , again!!

  24. Defections from the collapsed MMD are now starting to flow, no allegience to anyone its wako niwako, lets go PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF, lets go Sata your time is here. To my PFFFFF brothers and sisters, lets go to ALL the rural areas this time around so that there is no excuse by MMD. North, South, East, est and Central, Copperblet, N/Wesrten and Lusaka nipa bwatooooooooooooo fye. Ama infi yatampa nomba. Bye bye ba MMD mumbwes…………Viva Sat viva PF…… I hope Dora is ready to face the judiciary, Zamtel mwalaba shani?

  25. # 44,
Kudos! I actually watched him live too. Indeed he said “twenty -yeth” which sounded like “twenty -eighth” but to clear it all, he mentioned tuesday September twenty-yeth. All in all PF kaponyas say they don’t watch independent ZNBC and ready balanced Lusaka Time, the Zambian WD and SUFZ. How come they are confusing themselves with what came clear on ZNBC?

  26. I heard the president say TUESDAY, I REPEAT TUESDAY 28 SEPTEMBER. Is it that there is no one to advise the president or write his speeches? He is actually using last year’s diary (2010)  when 28 September fell on a Tuesday. The old chap is living in the past, and you wonder why the country is not developing

  27. Its just simple ENGLISH here LT is right. Today its 28th Thursday when the announcement has been made saying elections will take place on 20th Sep, a tuzde. Wash your faces and go back to read. VIVA HH. He is the next President. VIVA 20HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  28. will miyanda manage to organise his coalition in less than two months? i dont think so.The battle is between RB and MC.RB has his own weakeneses and strengths.Same applies to MC.But which one between the two on agregate, is suitable for the top job?
As much as we need change, in my opinion, RB is better.

  29. Indeed H.E said elections are on September “twenty -yeth” which like anybody else to me it sounded like “twenty -eighth” but to clear it all, he mentioned tuesday September twenty-yeth. A Check on September 20, 2011 confirms i misunderstood his “September twenty -twenty-yeth” for September “twenty -eighth”

  30. The dice is cast. RB has another guranteed term. Now, we don’t want any noise after elections…we don’t want any disturbances….from those bus stops. The corps should be merciless with trouble makers.

  31. #55 (Mushota), I can already guess the timeline….voting commences 06hrs to 18hrs..but extended to 20hrs in some remote areas (power cuts, etc)..results start pouring in from Lusaka and line of rail around 03 next morning… by mid day Sata is leading, by 20hrs RB catches up, by 04 next morning RB is leading..by 10 he’s sworn in. By 10.30 Sata wants to beat up a BBC journalist and threatening legal action against ECZ or something like that.

  32. That gittery and confused RB said and I quote, “elections will be held on Tuesday 28th September 2011 but 28th September is a Wednesday. I challenge the vuvuvela ZNBC to replay that clip, MMD bye bye, twaya nomba mu field tukabwela pa 2nd October 2011 in preparation for the inauguration for our President of the Republic of Zambia Mr Michael Chilufya Sata of Patriotic Front VIVA VIVA SATA Nipa bwatooooooooooooooo, mwamukolo DONT KUBEBA iwe…

  33. I thought I was the one confused, because on ZNBC he said 28th September Tuesday.which is which here?please help.

  34. H.E.R.B posted on his facebook page that the election date is on the 20th September 2011.

  35. are Zambians so thick or you just can’t read. The heading of this article reads Zambias election date:Its Tuesday 20th September 2011…. so why are people still debating on whether its tuesday or wednesday and whether its 20th or 28th …..goodness with such IQ levels no wonder your country is in shambles!

  36. Lusaka – PF, Copperbelt – PF, Northern – PF , Luapula -PF , Eastern – MMD , Central – MMD , Western – MMD , North western – UPND , Southern – UPND.

    • Lusaka – PF, Copperbelt – PF, Northern – PF , Luapula -PF , Eastern – MMD , Central – PF , Western – MMD , North western – UPND , Southern – UPND.

  37. Pipo, LT is right on the date, what they are saying is today which is the 28th, thats when HE RB has announced the election date to be on tuesday 20th 2011.

  38. It’s true these are the last days of MMD surely. RB is even getting wrong advice on a simple thing like date of election. Who reviews this poor man’s speeches, kwena chachine its KUYA BEBELE. I think Sata and PF are winning by a large margin going my congregations opinions..ya ya ya its difficult for RB. We hear defecions will be the order of the coming days thats why he was pleading with injured souls yesteday at Mulumgushi not to leave the broken house MMD, its too late MMD ….

    • I THINK AS A MAN OF GOD YOUR DUTY IS NOT TO BE PARTISAN BUT TO PRAY FOR BOTH SIDES OF THE COIN.SUPPOSE YOUR CHURCH MEMBER IS MMD AND YOU ARE PF, DO YOU THINK THAT MEMBER WILL RESPECT YOU?BE NEUTRAL AND PLAY THE PEACE MAKER’S ROLE SO THAT WEN THERE IS A FIGHT PEOPLE WILL RUN TO YOU FOR COUNSEL.

  39. is Mushota a Virgin? he keeps talking about his wedn..sad..any way apa the date is set..so its time we went all out and campaign for our president RB

  40. #55, so mulachinjanya ukufwala ama skirt or kilt??? hope you help him brush off the dandruff that falls on his boots chi color!!
Back to the topic, traditionally Thursday has been the election day to give people time to mull over the results over the weekend and come back to productive work on Monday. This is strange, but with RB who said things would be normal.

  41. Now those who have been very vocal in the diaspora I hope you can now plan your flight to Zed to cast your votes assuming you registered to Vote. May the best candidate win. No violence please it’s not a war and we don’t want one at all costs. Peace! I’m out:)>-

  42. Good listener, I was about to say wat you ve stated. Its the proununciation issue. Even at my workplace when I tell someone that my phone extension is 5-1-2-8, they end up calling 5120. When you say 2-8 it rhythmes 20th. And when you say twentieth, that rhythms 28. so bloggers the date is 20th Sept, announced today the 28th July. So just go & Vote. FULL STOP.

  43. @55 mushota The president elect according to the Zambian Constitution must be sworn in within 24hrs from the time he/she is decleraed winner by CJ. Meaning by Thursday midninght all results from remote areas will have been transmitted and by friday or Saturday swearing will be done. Stay blessed keep up your conravesy

  44. Iwe ka Kyamz, that’s the old way of doing things and we the PF youths will not allow the ECZ to announce results starting PF strongholds. You think we are going to allow what you did in 2008? NO, NO! Mulongoti and Chitala the experts in the pattern of announcement of results are pa bwatoooooo in PF. This time we have advised them to start announcement of results starting with MMD’s perceived strongholds if they have any at all left. We have sent this message very very clear and this time one will lose his or her throat DONT KUBEBA. This is 2011 bwana..

  62. Congrates! Its RB Nafuti-nafuti. The results for 2008 will repeat except that this time arrpound, RB will get landslide. Luapula, part of NP, Some districts on C/Belt, Some districts in Lusaka, Eastern, Central, Some Districts in Southern, Western will go for the mighty MMD. Pa-Fwaka is likely to be ranked 3 and the mighty UPND will go to number 2. Weldone Mr. Presido.

  63. change your thinking people,DON’T TRUST ANY POLITICIAN IN THIS ELECTION BUT TRUST YOUR INSTINCT AND YOUR INTELLIGENCE.A POLITICIAN WILL ONLY GIVE YOU A POLICY NOT A JOB.

  64. Laim, @76, We have a few “literacy and numeracy” challenged citizens. Did I say a few? I meant quite a lot actually.

You are right to wonder why they can’t read the article before commenting on it.

  65. The RB-MMD victory match starts from here all the way to 2016. This victory is anchored on a solid foundation of unprecedented national wide development delivery to all hardworking Zambians.

Hereon i declare RB, MMD and all rational Zambians its a victory match.

  66. We cant go on, troding the same path and expect different results. The bembas say –“umwana ashenda atashiya nyina uku nayia bwaili”

  67. IT DOES NOT MATTER WHETHER ONE IS ON ARV OR NOT BUT WHERE IS UNIP AND ADEDOZAMNO? AND USELESS PARTIES LIKE THIS ONE WHICH IS BEING RUN BY SIULAPWA? ICHI PARTY ICHAMA YOUTHS AT……NECHI ICHA KWA MAGANDE VIVA RB OSAYOPA!………

  69. I think its evident that the party that wins will rule this nation for at least the next 10years to come. It better not be WWD…….

  70. but RB WILL WIN BY 20,902,011. VOTES.HH WILL UPSET THE MOST PROMINENT POLITICIAN IN THE LAND BY BECOME SECOND BEST BY THE ABOVE NARROW DIFFERENCE.

  71. #117 its not about reading the article, its about what was said. The article is the not the blue print of the speech.

  72. #121 its not about reading the article, its about what was said. The article is the not the blue print of the speech.

  73. PF are now complaining that RB should not have announced the election date, he should have waited for their nomination process.

  75. thank for retiring health than before.lets see now these guys if they will pose in there DXs,COROLLAS,STALLIONS and SUZUKIS.HH there we go.

  76. With the daily mess Sata is creating in his circus party, he has no cooling period to transform into credence and miraculously galvanize his insanity into better good.MMD is battle ready from border-to-border and has successfully finished its party logistics in all constituencies, wards and Branches. Losers are still plugging in their relatives and sending snob Patrick Mwanawasa to provinces accessing their imaginary popularity.

The electoral system is not about pockets of tribal votes but winner takes it all from the aggregation of cast national wide votes.

  77. 20 Years is a long ass time, enough with MMD aka unip reincarnated already!!!am not voting probably be high as hell that day but as long as MMD is out I will be happy hell PF can win the dang election for all i care!!!RB must be the luckiest chap this side of the Equator all his stars aligned and by fluke/luck he became President of Zambia! but enough is enough!!

  81. Will the ballot papers be serially numbered?? who is in charge of printing them, last time they were printed in Durban South Africa VJ paid them a visit and MMD won, one would have expected someone from the ECZ to visit the printers. Not forgetting dead people are able to vote in most villages!!! will RB behave like Bagbo !!??? are we using transparent boxes or will the boxes come with votes pre-cast?? pray for our democracy

  82. Zambians, lets ensure these guys respect the Electoral Code of Conduct, if you suspect someone is using a Government vehicle but changed their number plates, effect a citizens arrest, check the Engine and Chasis numbers and confirm its a GRZ vehicle!!

All Parties need to use their own resources before we give them the job of running the affairs of the country!!!!

    • And what’s going to stop the Ministers driver/ security  blowing your head and then accusing your of attempted car jacking!! LOL!

  83. vote RB,for continuity of developmental projects such as schools, roads, hospitals, housing projects job creation, for continuity of economic growth

  84. Unfortunately either way, Mr Sata will have a heart attack. If he wins he will have a heart attack in disbelief. If he loses he will have a heart attack because he will understand that that would be his last chance and the end of his dream. Are we willing to take chances for another by-election. Vote wisely. Either RB or HH.

  85. PF take your candidate to for medical review before it gets hot. We do want excuses at iyayi benze bwina ba mudala sitiziba chatika mwe. Take him for review, we want him to witness his clean defeat, hopefully the last one.

  86. @YOUTH FOR CONTINUITY WITH RB where do you work? You leave on hand to mouth and because you don’t have a job you a busy licking RBs toes and come here preaching about schools, roads, hospitals, housing projects job creation, who the hell do you think we are? Fools?

  88. one can not deny tha fact that RB has done so much..the man has worked hard and he has my VOTE ..RB 2011

  89. @150
How can you define building schools, roads, hospitals as development projects the gov’t is mandated to that…that’s the reason you pay tax…some of you chaps were born in the MMD era and you clearly haven’t seen anything else…next you will be saying patching up potholes and handing out free water heaters  is development!!
    WAKE UP!!.

  90. Hey Zedians!!! Vote wisely in the forthcoming elections. U have seen economic development that the country has achieved in the last few years. This is because of prudent fiscal policies that RB and the past on Presdo( Mwanawasa RIP) had put into place. For the country to achieve what it has achieved its because of good leadership of RB. Lets maintain this government & peace in the country. No Kaponya, Call boy in govt. Don’t trust Satan to run the affairs of Zambia, if u do make this mistake of allowing call boys to run the affairs of country, it will never develop…..VIVA RB. Nafuti nafuti…

  91. IWE CHI 151 – KOLWE. Do you have spares for RB he can also fall sick and die even. He can’t survive without politics. The guy was living in a house without windows and suddenly the guy has a highly mechanised farm. His children are rated among the richest in the country. Awe bane

  92. 156 Chief- MMD 1// I agree with you, only those whose eyes are tinted with tribalism will fail to recognize RB’s contribution. He sustained the poor nation’s economic growth into middle income, stabilized all macro-economic parameters. Massive infrastructure developement: schools, hospitals, railways, roads etc. Zambians what else are you looking for that RB has not done? Mind you these are achievements in two years only. Tribalism down, the old man is good.

    • #164 iwe wechipuba, which hospital has RB built? which railway has he built, KK built Tazara, which railway has RB built, you talk of middle income?? what is the unemployment rate in Zambia 750,000 employed out of some 3,000,000 eligible employees??? most schools in Zambia were built by NGO’s so which school has RB built… kwena ulimbushi iwe and this is after 20 years of MMD and you still want to continue living in poverty kapena banaku pasako tiuze!??

    • You know your talk is like trying to explain a color to a blind person. We are not blind and insane. Late President LPM put those projects on the ground and not RB all of what RB has done is Hide Money from the State Coffers and use the money to paint already done projects. and claim Glory. Glory is earned not Claim. Let this RB go and rest. Viva MCS

  93. Mr. M Sata please urgently adopt your MPs for we have no time to waste .I know you’re always ahead of MMD coz you even menthioned election date while in kabwe .
people of zambia need change and we are behind you .Dont kubeba will work this time around. adop sellable candidates to represent zambian

  94. So why leave george Kunda as Veep?is that in the constitution of zambia?Let NGO’s organise peaceful protests against the abuse of public funds using G.Kunda.imagine the guy will continue drawing fuel, using Gov cars, security, funds, airplanes all to campain and visit developmental projects.Zambians are already tired and poor to see there resources going to waste. If RB says cabinet is dissolved that includes GK,so we appeal to GK to leave office nows.Zambians are already tired and poor to see there resources going to waste. If RB says cabinet is dissolved that includes GK,so we appeal to GK to leave office now

  95. MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA MUSHOTA, I HAVE DONE SOME INVESTGATIONS AND I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT YOUR REAL NAME MARY MULENGA AND YOU DONT STAY IN EUROPE BUT YOU STAY IN MATERO NEAR ZESCO SUBSTATION. YOU ACTUALLY WORK IN ONE OF THE TIMBER PROCESSING COMPANY AND THE PERSON IN THE PICTURE IS NOT YOU BUT YOUR FRIEND WHO STAYS IN OLYMPIA PARK NJOKA ROAD HSE NO. 78 CALLED LYNDA. DENY THIS AND I WILL BRING MORE DATA. I THINK LETS LEARN TO BE CONTENT WHERE WE ARE

  96. Aka bwato kalichita capsize last week pa Kafue river ku C/belt killing innocent children. The kabwato was being paddled by a teenage boy. People who want to jump onto kabwato, come September 20, chililo. Paddlers have a plan to capsize that boat, sure!

  97. #164 iwe wechipuba, which hospital has RB built? which railway has he built, KK built Tazara, which railway has RB built, you talk of middle income?? what is the unemployment rate in Zambia 750,000 employed out of some 3,000,000 eligible employees??? most schools in Zambia were built by NGO’s so which school has RB built… kwena ulimbushi iwe and this is after 20 years of MMD and you still want to continue living in poverty kapena banaku pasako tiuze!??

    • unless of course you mean those mobile hospitals!? in which case your perception of massive infrastructure development is quite shallow (myopic)

  98. # 167 Boss mwadiga kwisa data iyi??? is it reliable?? please substantiate your claims or leave our controversial sister alone..

  99. Zambia is at crossroads! Reelecting RB will not be a disaster for the country, although he has failed to stop corruption and has undermined the other branches of government (Judiciary). Managing of revenue from the mines is a fu@k up! However, Sata does not seem to offer much, him being from MMD with the other rejects from the same party. HH is potentially a good vote but to me he seems to have delayed branding himself and telling Zambians what he can do. Apart from his youth I do not see any positive attributes or what he brings to the table.

It is a difficult call to make for Zambians and I feel that the youth in Zambia have been systematically excluded from participating in national matters. Hence the shortfall in high caliber candidates in presidential and parliamentary elections.

  100. # 171 That so true, of the 3 stooges currently contesting none of them is quality material.. lord have mercy on us. personally i would vote Sata and pray he suffers a stroke halfway through his term…

  101. 169 BA ZEDI// I do not agree with you my dear. But advise that you to use current statistics and avoid misleading readers. You seem to be using the 2000 census figures. Which NGO built which school? Be realistic my friend. However, I jet into Zambia to give my candidate a vote a day before poling date. Chwee chwee chwee chweee.

  102. god knows who will win – just pray and have faith so that a agoodman is choi-sen to lead us peacefully not in pieces.

  103. Wait, wait. There are no candidates from PF and UPND. They have not even campaigned. Caught sleeping. They have to rush rush to adopt candidates. You know what happens when you rush anything. Both Sata and HH kept on crying for the election date. Now it is here. And they have no candidates yet. PF UPND WHERE ARE YOUR CANDIDATES?????????? The President did everything according the constitution. PF UPND YOU HAVE ONE MONTH AND 3 WEEKS TO CAMPAIGN IF YOU HAVE SELECTED CANDIDATES TODAY.

  104. The first response from the illiterate clown was to say they were the ones who forced RB to announce the date due to a letter they wrote him! Atase! And this is the buffoon some people think is fit to be Republican President. Each time he opens his mouth garbage comes out. Typical of a Kaponya! The first response from the illiterate clown was to say they were the ones who forced RB to announce the date due to a letter they wrote him! Atase! And this is the buffoon some people think is fit to be Republican President. Each time he opens his mouth garbage comes out. Typical of a Kaponya!

  105. Time is up for RuBish Shrek and his minions to start packing has really come becoz whether you like it or not you RuBish hardcores change is coming. • Good point … most of us are not voting….we are seating ducks…I have to sample opnions from my home boys in Lusaka and on Copperbelt to gauge the political pendulum….at the moment depending on who u ask, you get different answers…..

  108. Bonse bafikalah you are dull. There can be no way competent english speakers can be arguing about 20th or 28th sounding the same. It can never sound the same to me. This is where the very important aspect of intonation comes in. Its either the listener or speaker is dull, or both are. Go back to grade four, mwaba amatozi.

  109. Remember we are all from God, adam as our first father and so no need to say these/that to any but to V O T E nicely either HH , Heritage, Unip if it there, MMD, PF etc. With defectors we welcome them like Mhabi Lungu former Unipist who acted as if Unip will not die, where was he all the years and come to MMD which is sinking. Join HH, PF Heitage. or a Small part ygp of SIulapwa 2016 which is childish who thinks God can spare him up to that time. shameless creature – do you go to church or you want to be known that you can be on the platform 2b seen like your childish friend C. C the3rd who needs a favour of MMD. you are man find a source of money somewhere not in the way you tell the nation. Grow in you head , mind u Govt change always but bright brains shine most. 110. Thanks RB for the date you have decided to pick your bags. It is PABWATOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NO MATTER WHAT MAY HAPPEN. GOOD-BYE RB:d

  111. #177, man I asked simple questions, which hospitals, which schools, which railway, which infrastructure?? RB has only started commissioning projects in the last 3 to 4 months what was he doing the last 3 years?? Tell me please, just responding to the issues you raise in you blog on # 164. There is a Charity
    1. Schools for Zambia registered in Germany that supports the constraction of primary schools in Zambia
    2. Friends for Zambia is a Canadian NGO also raising funds to build a school in Lilayi
Are u sure you want me to continue, All I ask is one school over the last 20 years, kwena abena Zambia!!!

  112. OKAY NOW – PF. GAME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  113. Thanks, come now let us reason together and boot out these tyrants. YES WE CAN FIRED RB AND HIS CORRUPT MMD THUGS!!!!!!!!!!! NEW GVT HERE WE COME.

  114. Nafuti Nafuti………….Sata will die with BP akamva kuti RB has done Nafuti Nafuti. VIVA RB VIVA Akulu Mpuno.

  115. I am not a Hule

A Hule sleeps around, I have only slept with the same guy for almost 3 years now, so I am nothing like what some of you are hallucinating

Respect me, If you dont respect me, you do not respect your Mother, because i have everything some of your mothers could never been, how about a little respect?
.”I will not change my mind- you are delusional and insane. You throw the word Hule around like a crutch, to alter your limited capabilitiesyou’ve earned. Alright, have it your way. You’ve earned whatever it is you seek through your twisted “hard work.” I’ll accept it, and I’ll be taking my leave. This is where we part, O superior being. Where ever you go, whatever you do, in the future I wish you… Luck.”

    Thanks

    • Mushota don’t go some of us enjoy you controversial and antagonistic comments.. true some bloggers are crude in their jibes at you but make no mistake you have a large following. Some of your blogs are true and strike a sensitive cord with most readers and they lashout, though tact on your behalf would resolve most of these.

  116. Iwe ka mushota n.y.i.n.i what is your sickness? How do you connect elections to your wedding and your voting in Zambia from  Paris?

  117. # 199 Mushota don’t go some of us enjoy you controversial and antagonistic comments.. true some bloggers are crude in their jibes at you but make no mistake you have a large following. Some of your blogs are true and strike a sensitive cord with most readers and they lashout, though tact on your behalf would resolve most of these.

  118. # 195 Pa Zed You must be living outside the country and only jet into Lusaka from time to time. I am not a supporter of any political party, but I can safely tell you that schools, hospitals and roads (new) are being constructed over the country by GRZ. My work entails travelling around the country and I can attest to this fact. Most rural districts had Rural Health Centres but now District Hospitals are being constructed, Technical High School for Girls are being constructed as well-the Ndola one has already been opened. I travelled on the Senanga-Sesheke Road in December-contractors were busy working on it. RB will go with his head high if he is voted out!

  119. mushota, do u know da person calling u a hule? i think he must b pf. he is a very frustrated being like his fellow pf clowns. never mind them

  120. Thank you Mr President for Announcingf Elections Date.My Only advice and Prayer is that All political Parties should campaign peacefully no violence before and after Election. Secondly let every Political Party Accept the out come of Election .
Let The Body Christ Stand up and pray for peace and that God gives us the President who will rule this Country and who will have the fear of God. Do not pray targeted Prayer Because your plans are not God’s plan.

  121. Only fools will vote for Sata, RB, HH, dont just vote for the sake of voting. This is your future and your childrens future, vote for integrity and development vote Magande.

  122. #199 finally you have thrown a towel….please disappear forever it still hurts with your first blog you wrote regreting you were born a Zambian guy or sorry shemale….never come back…enough of nonsense…. time for PF to rule…20 MMD is like liking Mushota on the blog

  123. Mushota the problem you have is that you have no respect and talking tribal is not right. We are all Zambian, Bembas, Lozis, Ngonis, Tonga etc. Just support you candidate, but respect other candidates and other tribes. Be humble even with your great achievements academically because we have equally done a lot academically. Ask for my name at Stirling Uni, they will inform you that I was left that place with a MSc.

  124. I am sick and tired of receiving pathetic texts from my auntie in Ndola, most of them asking for my money, It is very moronic auntie suzan.
Probably because her texts lacked capitalization and/or punctuation, are very difficult to read, or looked like it was typed by a 12-yr old.
If that’s still not enough information, I wonder if she and a lot of people here consult the following (incomplete) list of unacceptable words:
    1. *coz
    2. * u
    3. * ur
    4. * lol
    5. * lyke

    • on second thought… respect your elders that it may go well with you in life.. she’s your mother by default… eish ukupunama!!!!!

    • Mushota – is your name Mary Mulenga? And do you live in Matero, near the Zesco sub-station. And is that photo of Lynda your posh friend who lives at No. 78 Njoka Road Olympia?

  125. At the recently opened Hospital RB said “it does not matter whether we don’t have doctors or nurses we still have a hospital” How can anyone waste their vote on such a senseless president. Fellow Zambians dont waste your votes on RB, think wisely and vote with conviction that the person you vote for loves Zambia and has every interest to develop the country. I can only think of one person MAGANDE.

  126. Oooooohh no under 5 already knocked out of the race! Mupipeni ba nyina.
Ba rb ni false start…..20..eeh! Brain jam pali date fye.
    Nasula ba MATIPA MATIPA DIVERS.

  127. I now wish to adress the nation……. today 28th July 2011 I declare my home a middle-income- home.

By definition, if you have a middle that I can come in then you get paid!

  128. Sata must not fool himself regarding election victory. Let him quietly leave the position for young ones. We need him alive not dead from heart attack.

  129. Kwena Mushota chachine walishota mu brain! Any way you always make me laugh in this solitary confinement I am. Good day and never give up, I personally enjoy your contrary to the topic blogs.

  130. I have formed a new political party it is called ZAMBIA PEOPLES PARTY (ZPP) i will contest for the presidency and will field candidates in all the 150 paliamentary constituencies and all the wards throughout the country and l will win by a lanslide victory. MMD, PF, UPND you are history. Come 22nd September i will be in state house!

  131. Mass defections. The would be defectors had better do it quick so that we know who’s up against who. Getting exciting by the minute

  132. ba mushota bosting mulechita ubu ule kubasungu mwise muchite boast pano, wats a wedding got to do wth us ata chikala hule iwe waba amaso mukanwa

  133. Sata is now complaining that he has been caught unaware, he need more time to had pick candidates and he has run out credible kapoyas.

  134. Mushota, only one guy for 3 years, really? So you dont count casual stuff, chifukwa tinakuchita ndise wambili……..

  135. The end of Satan’s unsuccessful political career. We have rejected you 3 time and this time were sending you packing forever. You will never rule Zambia you grade 4 policeman

  136. Thank you Batata for the date announcement. That makes part of the history that we had democratic leaders who followed the path of righteousness. Looks simple but great.

  137. Am from Kenya. it appears Zambian president has absolute powers to determine when to dissolve Parliament for elections to be held? too sad for democracy in Zambia.

  138. I missed the speech and I was so dumb that I could not guess when I heard what people on Cairo road were discussing this morning. They went on like this “That man has a kind heart, he is the one we should have given 27 years, not this 5 years”. Now please keep this away from Mr Sata, I do not want to be the source of trouble.

  139. Why now have they began to extend internet facilities to strait jacket strapped psychiatric patients who are in solitary confinement?

    • @#239, the answer to your question is that its because Zambia is now a middle income country, so the hard working MMD Gvt can afford to extend internet services to those of us in solitary confinement.

  140. Mushota, you are addressing the wrong forum! Try R4M season 3 on MUVI TV, where your sord is heard! I tell you you would would be a interesting case! Check out muvitv.com!
As for RnB mambala you should pack yours and the red lipped snakes’ bags. You have just signed your retirement, KUYA BEBELE and we will vote enmass!

  141. the world would be boring if there were no foolish people like mushota….please, dont go…some of us enjoy your madness

  142. The battle has just began only the strongest will survive,as at now its clear that RB has done 3/4 of his campaigns before announcing date of election by launching number of projects we have seen in the last two months, unfortunately that is not the only basis for keep him in power, coz even the PF have done some background home work to come victorious. The battle has just began.

  143. If Mushota can still type while restricted in a strait-jacket, she may, after-all, not be psychiatric patient.

  144. At last! Now opposition wake up. Your candidates’s list for both parliamentary and local govt has to ready by Thursday 04th August 2011. ECZ may announce date for filling nominations to be NOT Later than 15th August 2011. This is to enable ECZ capture candidates’s data for preparation of ballot papers in South Africa. Time is NO longer an ally for opposition. Forget about Pacts, for these attract unnecessary debates on choosing candidates. Let us fire MMD. NOW!

  145. Where is the list of hand picked candidates that Sata has decreed for us to sample? I can’t wait to see. Will GBM, Nsanda, kambwili, Judge Ngoma, Mosquito Mulongoti, absconder Weluzani Mangani (tie) feature on this list? Whoooooh, scary stuff, but….

  146. We need to advocate for a true constitution, why should the nation leave with uncertainity about election date. Come post election 2011. The new leader should be put under pressure to give us back our proposed constitution. And not the Kunda lead constitution making process. This will serve as a lot of time and energy in future. we need to progress as a nation.

  147. Mabenga was evacuated to SA as a deputy Minister, now he is not, so he must start paying for his treatment and costs there!!!

  148. from the above messages RB has been declared winner!!!! Opposition have to up their game to beat RB and MMD.

  149. Take this as serious prediction PF- 44% , MMD- 33% . Where will Wiliam Banda, Dora, Chanda Chimba, Lifwekelo,.. go there after? Keep well receipts, if you have that you used to create hatred towards MMD through your ZNBC programs. MMD miscalculated, you don’t win people by scandalising but by befriending.

  150. @255 BASHI LULU “MMD miscalculated, you don’t win people by scandalising but by befriending”. Watch the recording of Mr Sata’s rallies on Chanda Chimba III’s Stand Up for Zambia, see and hear what Mr Sata had to say about Levy Mwanawasa, Sylvia Masebo, Panji Kaunda and many others. The tragedy of PF and Mr Sata is that they cannot criticise anybody without people saying “look who is talking!”

  151. @250 Poor Zed People, “We need to advocate for a true constitution, why should the nation leave with uncertainity about election date. …The new leader should be put under pressure to give us back our proposed constitution. And not the Kunda lead constitution making process…….we need to progress as a nation”. The writing is on the wall for all who can read. Among his many misdemeanours if Mr Sata cannot allow a single ballot at his so called national convention, are Zambians so gullible that they expect him to give us a true constitution?

  152. We are on the ground. The other day I found myself in a debate with a PF cadre (he was alone otherwise I would not dare). I said something about Mr Sata’s negative record and history and the cadre asked me whether I thought that people don’t change. I said of course people do change, but Mr Sata hasn’t, he is the same old foul mouthed and deceptive politician. I pointed out that even the Post has never stated that Mr Sata has changed from the picture that they painted about him in their past editions. When I challenged the cadre to state what he thought had changed about Mr Sata, he looked away almost with tears in his eyes. I couldn’t help but sympathise with the poor cadre for the lies that he has to absorb before someone tells him the truth.

  153. The truth of the matter is that there is poverty in Zambia, we have schools without teachers and no teaching aids, we have hospitals without medical stuff no drugs and equipment even in old hospitals. very few roads are being done as copmared to the number of roads required to be done. the money used to do these projects by the last kicks of a dying horse is borrowed and will have to be paid back through the nose. The so called investors are getting our copper without any meaningfull tax. Thats why we are for change for sanity. Corruption nipamishi!

  154. @259 kangwele, “The so called investors are getting our copper without any meaningfull tax. Thats why we are for change for sanity”. Well, I have news for you, Mr Sata has categorically stated that he is quite satisfied with Zambia’s current mining tax regime and would not change it if he came to power. Now this is not my opinion, and it was not reported by the public media but by an independent and internationally respected news agency, Reuters. Your comments please?

  155. Yeeeeeeessssssssssssssss! its time. I am here at the border of northern and luapula province where people are enjoying the fruits of unpreceedented growth and middle income status. There is a shiny new rural health center serving 12 000 people up to 35km away, or and it even has 2 nurses and a public health tech (we call him doctor). There are also 4 basic schools and 3 community schools, we are happy even if one has two teachers, after all we need the girls to get married when they turn 14 or grow breasts (whichever comes first). I was surprised yesterday I met a 16year old girl who is single and she says she still has her english (ichisungu)! Anyway just to say that we happy with the good policies of the MMD and Alabi.

  156. This is a Dictator Mentality why take too long to announce the election year holding a country hostage and then you announce not giving enough time for people to campaign.Africa the Land of cheap dirty scum bags

    • Hey, former British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, gave 6 weeks notice for elections last year. It’s not only Africa, the UK, oldest democracy, does not have a fixed election date.

  157. @255 kangwele, if you want to hear the worst of a leader scandalising people, if you want to hear a leader’s foul mouth and I mean FOUL mouth, tune in to ZNBC TV tonight at 20:00hrs for a repeat of Stand Up for Zambia.

  158. @259 kangwele, many of us when we read the Post we do so with a pinch of salt. We know that it is not the “independent” tabloid that it claims to be, except to the extent that it represents Mr Mmembe’s individual “independent” opinion. As an individual Mr Mmembe wants to use his paper to select leaders for us all, the 13 million of us, even when he knows that those “leaders” have a murky past which was revealed by himself Mmembe, amply and abundantly recorded in past editions of his own “newspaper”. Well he can fool some of you, but not all of us. And fortunately we have Chanda Chimba III on the side of truth.

  159. @mushota sweetness, dat muzungu wil not be wit you in de long run come back dear n i wil gladly welcome u back.rmb de gud sex we had?ala bee thax 4 de date n surely its a three horse race btwn mcs,hh n rb.may de best man win.

  160. Right now I am watching ZNBC TV News and I have heard the President clearly state the date of Tuesday 20th September 2011 for the elections. PF cadres please, are you deaf? Everyday you make fools of yourselves by criticising everything and everybody over crystal clear matters. Just what kind of human beings are you?

  161. Let the game begin…..
Lost 3 election and a 4th one coming … its going to be a world record

  162. Think about this … Sata has lost the last two elections … ask urself y and he still wont concede defeat … if he was democratic he would have chosen somebody else to run for elections which could have given PF 80% chances of winning … most of the PF leaders are MMD defects … this goes to show the man is power hungry and more like mugabe who he was gna invite if he were to win elections .. such is the calibre of the man … RB might not be perfect but he has achieved developments all around the country and can be seen … economy has been stable … for the sake of peace and any wise thinking person would vote for RB and not Sata for the sake of peace in the country … Lets live in peace and not fight each other as we all brothers and most of all zambians …

    • He has actually lost the last three elections; 2001, 2006 and 2008 now going for the fourth in 2011. Lost to LPM twice and once to RB, I guess he is used to losing twice to the same candidate. lol.

  163. RB for development, RB for Economic Empowerment, RB is a President for All Zambians another 5 years with President RB will result in changes that Zambians have never seen taking place in their country before. He has achieved so much in 2 and a half years, what more 5 years. My Vote is for RB, BAFUTI, NAFUTI, Chwerela:d

  164. Some opposition leaders have spent all their time 24/7 criticising everything that the government has been doing. Instead of telling people even one thing of what they will do or do better, they have foolishly believed that criticising will bring them the much needed votes. Now they have only 50 days to sell themselves across the country. I hope that they learnt Zambia’s geography well when they were in secondary school, that the country is not only Lusaka and Copperbelt, it is a large country of 753,000 square kilometers. To cover this vast expanse during campaigns is not a joke especially if you travel by road, even if Rupiah Banda has tried his best to level the playing field by repairing or tarring most of the roads across the country.

  165. So Masebo missed the election date in her announcement by about a month, not too bad but Mr Sata should begin to doubt mole information from her by the same margin.

  166. #262 Common Sense.

Hey, former British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, gave 6 weeks notice for elections last year. It’s not only Africa, the UK, the oldest democracy, does not have a fixed election date.

  167. No normal and patriotic Zambian would expect RB and MMD to lose the 2011 tripartite elections.RB has fathomed all armchair critics and their political dreamers every patriot consider parody. He has systematically galvanized his victory with resonating national programs.I pray Sata doesn’t enter into a stroke this time around after losing 4 times in a row. What can one expect to gain from Icasa Nkandu Luo, Mulongoti, Mpombo, Mangani, Derrick Chitala, Masebo,John Mambo, Kabimba, GBM, Kapijimpanga and such criminals? What is the reason Zambians would risk with these chaps again?

  168. @269 concerned, in addition to peace politics is about governing and delivering development to the people 24/7, it is about bumper maize harvest, stable food prices, schools for our children, hospitals, roads etc. There is no holiday or election period where development is concerned, unless we stop eating, shopping, travelling, becoming ill, or even going to school until after elections. Sane people know these simple facts, that is why they will not change a government that delivers on these things to usher in unknown elements who have not even been polite enough to tell us what they can do for us if we voted for them.

  169. Oh, and maybe we should stop collecting taxes especially mining taxes during election year, what do you say PF?

  170. Repeat: I watched ZNBC TV News at 19.00hrs and I heard the President CLEARLY and in SIMPLE English state the date of Tuesday 20th September 2011 for the elections. PF cadres please, are you deaf? Everyday you make fools of yourselves by criticising everything and everybody over crystal clear matters. Just what kind of human beings are you?

  171. What a f 0 0l so predictable. Why say the elections are soon really soon then next day come out with it? My children have more tact. Any way I hope all your things are packed.

  172. Whatever happens in these upcoming elections one thing is for sure.Having Michael Chilufya Sata at plot one will be really bad for Zambia. The man is temperamentally unstable, given to angry outbusts and has dictatorial tendencies.PF would probably do better in elections if somebody else was at the helm of the party. The office of presidency requires some level headed guy.

  173. VIVA HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.. THE BOAT CAN NOT MOVE FORWARD WITHOUT YOUR HAND TO PADDLE IT..NO CHWEEEECHWEEEEE CAN TAKE PLACE WITHOUT YOUR HAND FLASHING!! YOU ARE A FACTOR AND THE MAN FOR PLOT1 THIS TIME.. KYIME KYA FIKA..

  174. So what have you lost by announcing ,thanks ,now i can plan my flight to help you out of the office. Those ministers fired plse try to apply ,PF may consider

  175. just got my voters card ready RB u are 100 percent guaranteed of my vote be assureed whateva happens 6am 20th start countin mine is a definate and i know so is the vote of all of us who want to secure the future of our childrens generation

    viva RB NAFUTI NAFUTI

  176. wooooooooo i have formed a new party called oppressed people’s party(OPP) join me for those who want change.vote wisely

    • whatever the date 20th or 28th PF is read gunned and our president Mr Sata is winning the elections.
      R B thinks he is smart .:)

  177. whatever the date 20th or 28th PF is read gunned and our president Mr Sata is winning the elections.
    R B thinks he is smart .

  178. If Sata or RB wins, it is very likely that non of them will finish their terms due to old age and Zambia could end up having another Presidential By-Election. It is a shame that none of the main political parties are headed by young Presidential candidates with the exception of HH. However, HH does not seem to have the “Obama factor” and therefore ruled out of this year’s elections as a winner. Looking, ahead, the main political parties should start grooming future leaders so that we don’t end up with “old politicians”. HH can win 2016 if he re-brands, collaborates and works with others outside UPND.

  179. OOPs the news of Mr Mwansa Chriticles-Permanent secretary of ministry of science and technology to be adopted is quiet clear that RB now realises that he didn’t choose candidates properly. he is changing people he annouced adopted with new comers who didn’t even apply to contest. He makes wonder! What was the reason for him to announce adopted candidates if he knew certain candidates would be removed? He is bringing more confusion in the party.Maluba for Mwansabombwe was adopted by MMD.How come he wants to listern to Mwata kazembe who doesn’t like Maluba? Is mwata the all constituency?MMD wanted maluba but RB wants to impose Mwansa who refused to stand at first. But the news is that the man has been issued threats if refuses, therefore Mr Mwansa has no choice but to stand

  180. Am waitng 4 RB’s dfction 2 PF.if not twalauma kachema nempanga shalasalangana come 20th sept or whch ever date.LESA NI LESA & HE KNWS ALL WHT WE RE GOING THROUGH.O WE NEED S CHANGE I DONT MIND WHO I WLL VOTE 4.

  181. But mwandi sure, PF in an election day shocker with an incomplete list of parlimentary candidates! Michael nefyamba fyakwe must be panicking. They wont sleep starting today. Right now they are in meetings trying to “manualize” the list instead of going to the grass roots.

  182. The rigging mechanisms have been installed, the MMD is now certain of a landslide victory but the people will play the game. Nothing much to say, i only urge the pf to embark on massive campaigns at the grass roots.

  183. Finally rupiah has buckled to relentless pressure from the majority of Zambians. Its now time to carry out the dismissal he has signed.
we have in the past shown a lot patience but rupiah and his cronies have not appreciated us.
He has cause enough damage to the country, it about time he went back to his little farm somewhere in eastern province on the border with his native country
    Adios rupiah!!

  184. ‘Political gimmick goes wrong; PF will vote on the 20th and your party on the 28th.I wonder who they gonna vote for because Sata will be at plot 1 by then.

  185. Why are some bloggers congratulating RB for announcing the election date? In the current dispensation, he is supposed to do so anyway – and he is late! Next time we will enshrine the date or Month in the Constitution so we don’t have Presidents who think they can p.u.s.s.y. foot about with the election date.

  186. We want change, we want masebo! we want change, we want mulongoti, we want change, we want mpombo, we want change we want sata, we want change we want mangani. You PF kaponyas are the dullest political followers. Useless!

  187. Too bad the Titanic is sinking,i feel pity for you kaponyas who are following the cobra blindly. Now that that the venom is finished we are retiring SATA to chitulika.

  188. Viva Alaabeeeeeee! You have been such a wonderful president! You have rare qualities that other people vying for presidence this year do not have. Humility is one of them and a listening hear…oh my need I continue! Nafuti Nafuti..I can assure you of my vote.

  189. You Silly kaponyas Party ya Fiwelele. Sata has no capacity to function democratically. Constitution is not his cup of tea. He cant change, tell him to recover the pangas and guns he distributed in chawama. its a shame that desperation has blinded even people like Chitala to go to bed with Sata. Masebo is empty, Mulongoti is empty, Mangani is empty, but Luo and Chitala they cause such embarrasement on the learned fratenity.

As for winter K even his father does not think much about him

  190. # 293 – there are too many GUMU GUMUs on this blog – nalema navo!! Mushota you are a material girl which is close or easy to confuse with a ‘ule’ so you done it to yourself. Does your small boy know what you do on this blog or are you cheating on him?? If he finds out that you are a freak believe me he will make you swim back to ZED in your handbag from Paris!!

  191. I hope SATA does not carry the day, then thats the end of us in Diaspora as there will be no more dual citizenship. Zambia is still a long way to go not to and I can’t deny accept another nationality. I may not have been the closes person to zambian politics but HH seems to be more of a reasonable candidate. Zambian’s we are intelligent and have a good judgment, lets mage a good choice and not let the next 5 years go to waste.

  192. NO WONDER THEY ARE BUYING VOTERS CARDS AT NKULUMASHIBA SECONDARY SCHOOL IN LUANSHYA AT K 50,000 WHEN DORA VISITED THE SCHOOL AND PROMISED TO HELP COMPLETE THE SCHOOL FENCE.NI DONCHI KUBEBA
