A message to PF followers

Dear brothers and sisters of the Patriotic Front It is with great sadness that I have to sit in my room wondering what pain and anguish you must be going through considering how your leadership has over the past year taken your feelings, emotions and health for granted.

How long will you let them lie to you and treat you like you are simple machines whose purpose of existence is to merely satisfy…their hunger for power by giving them the support and votes they need to be ushered into office?

Time after time they have lied to you, raised your emotions and tampered with your blood pressure just for their selfish desire and amusement. Some of the incidences in which they have taken you for mere puppets are as follows:

1. PF/UPND Pact

Some time ago a union between your party and the United Party For National Development was formed on account that neither of them could defeat the ruling Movement for Multi-party Democracy alone. While this was true, the UPND were looking at a more bigger picture of giving Zambians meaningful change by providing a leadership with a national face (UPND’s major strongholds are PF’s weakest areas and vice versa) and harmonizing social-economic policies considering that the two parties were different ideologically i.e the PF being socialist and the UPND with a propensity towards capitalism, the PF’s main preoccupation was that of sharing leadership positions; kind of saying lets take care of our selfish interests first and then the wishes of Zambians will come later. When the UPND did not agree to this they were called all sorts of names including UNDER 5’s and that they were so shallow that they THINK WITH THEIR TRIBES.It is these insults and other irreconcilable differences that led to the demise of the Pact. Its almost easy to blame the PF for they have shown on other occasions that they cannot work with other parties and are intolerant of divergent views. In 2006 their pact with the United Liberal Progressive party collapsed because they ULP wasn’t consulted and did not agree on the stance taken by the PF to promise to liberate FTJ (mhsrip) without a fair trial because he was innocent and that as a way to gain votes in areas were the late was popular.

2. APRIL FOOLS DAY CIRCUS

After the collapse of the pact, the PF went on a solo campaign and lied to you by telling you that the elections would be held on 01st April, 2011. They again psychologically prepared you to cast you votes on a day reserved for FOOLS! More fictitious dates were announced by your leaders and you still believed.

3. TEA-PARTY GET TOGETHER CONVENTION

In a bid to create a picture that they were a democratic party, your leaders hosted a convention were 3500 delegates were in attendance. To everyone’s shock and dismay, not a single ballot was cast yet proving to you that democracy and divergent views were alien to the PF. Sadly however such tenets are enshrined in their constitution which they have promised to deliver within 90 days of assuming office.

ARTICLE 57: ELECTION OF MEMBERS OF CENTRAL COMMITTEE

(1) The election of twenty (20) Members of the Central Committee shall be held at the General Conference of the Party.
(2) Candidates shall indicate to the President of the Party not less than one day before the day of the Conference their intention to stand for the office of the Member of
the Central Committee.
(3) (a) The President of the Party shall submit his list of candidates together with the names of other candidates for the office of the Member of Central Committee to the
National Council for consideration and approval.

The question is why should the constitution demand that someone aspiring for higher level needs seek first the approval of the president? Is the president a god?

4. MASS DEFECTIONS

Your leaders promised you defections to you party in large numbers from the ruling MMD. The yet again prepared you psychologically to receive people you called liers, corrupt, selfish and incompetent and whose failure and betrayal prompted you to seek change of government.

They demanded that you accept these “rejects” as your leaders because politics was not about SERVICE but about NUMBERS. THEY TOLD YOU TO REJECT AND ABANDON MEMBERS WHO FOR 10 YEARS HAD BEEN LOYAL TO THE PARTY AND ITS CAUSE AND INSTEAD OPT FOR JOB SEEKING POLITICAL OPPORTUNISTS.

5. DESPERATE MEASURES

Seeing that they were ill prepared for the polls after the election date had been announced, your party had gone into panic mode.First was when they filed an injunction restraining the candidate of the ruling party from standing on flimsy charges of parentage. When this failed they demanded the halting of the election date on other false and baseless claims including those to do with the printing company contracted to print ballot papers, and the source of funding for campaign materials.

As if this wasn’t enough they together with their public relations wing newspaper published a false opinion poll suggesting that your leader would win the elections by 55%. SADLY HOWEVER THE UNIVERSITY THEY CLAIM HAD CONDUCTED THE POLL ISN’T EVEN IN EXISTENCE.

They then brainwashed some of you to the point of having voices inside your heads telling stories that not even three year olds cannot believe. I CANT HELP BUT ASK: HAVE YOU BEEN BEWITCHED? HAVE BEEN TURNED INTO ZOMBIES? These questions silly as they may sound remind me of a story I read early this concerning fears among some of your members that that some leaders had become so desperate that they had resorted to witchcraft.

6. PARANOIA

It seems in the end that your party is trying to use lies, rumour and gossip to create in you a sense of insecurity, hatred, and paranoia that these elections will not be free and fair through constantly attacking the ECZ, the police and the judiciary thereby creating a false impression that you cannot trust the above institutions and as such the only to acquire justice is through unrest and violence.

But remember WE ARE ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION AND THIS COUNTRY IS BIGGER THAN ANYONE OR ALL OF OUR LEADERS. LET US NOT BE FOOLED INTO BELIEVING THAT INSTABILITY IS THEY KEY TO SUCCESS AND THAT PEACE IS STUPIDITY! THIS IS THE OCCULT VIEW OF PROGRESS AS WAS WRITTEN BY A MASTER MASON IN THE 1940’s

7. DONCHI KUBEBA

Finally I leave you with the real meaning of donchi kubeba. That which your leaders wont tell you about the selfish dictatorial manner in which they will run this country. Have you noticed that non of you never reports on anything progressive or developmental that your leader said except the” crowd was big and ni donchi kubeba” ? Thats because they never engage you in issue based debates but just vilify other people. Tell me how will talking about Rupiah, Dora or HH put any food on your table and send your children to school? How will rumours improve your lives?

So this is how your party intends to govern you. I urge to analyse these methods objectively and see if this is the way to govern a country for democracy, development and tolerance for divergent views. Please vote wisely.

ARTICLE 3: PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS

The Party shall ensure that all the public institutions, State-owned enterprises and popular mass and similar organizations are led by persons who are members of the Party and who are uncompromisingly committed to achievements of the Party.

ARTICLE 4: STRUGGLE AGAINST EXPLOITATION

The Party shall wage a relentless struggle against all domestic and international forces of reaction. It shall fight for the eradication of Capitalism, with its offshoots; poverty, with its offshoots of Hunger, Ignorance, Disease, Crime, Corruption and the exploitation of man by man.

ARTICLE 15: OBLIGATIONS OF A MEMBER

1) It is the obligation of a member of the Party:

(d) To support and implement all Socialist oriented decisions and projects proposed or Adopted by the Party;

DISCIPLINARY  ORGANS

(a) The Appointments and Disciplinary Committee of the Central Committee shall be responsible for the discipline of the following leaders irrespective of the locality where the offence is committed;

(i) Members of the Central Committee, Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Provincial Political Secretaries, and Heads of Zambian Missions abroad;
(ii) all officers of and above the rank of Assistant Secretary in the Party and Government;
(iii) all officers of and above the rank of High Court Judge including Director of Public Prosecutions;
(iv) all officers of and above the rank of General Manager of a parastatal organizations

Ps: It is my hope and prayer that your leadership had nothing to do with the tricking of KK into signing a statement concerning the elections

Yesterday I was reading a book by Pastor Chriss called Rhapsody of Realities.In the first devotional for Friday,that is for July, 2011, the pastor is teaching us that a Christian who is fully grown in Christianity will not doubt the ability of God in answering our prayers so if your prayer is for you to be healed believe after prayer that you are already healed. I am saying this to remind people that there are true Christians some where who are praying and God almighty has already answered their prayers. God is going to give us a leader whom he knows will be good for us;Sata ,RB or HH or which ever. God will not fail us again.   57. My worry is that this article is targeted to PF supporters. The biggest worry is that, with due respect, I don’t think many can analyse and understand these issues. The problem is that, this is not support of good over bad, it is blind support that is hinged either on tribal lines or sheer ignorance of facts and truths. To some, sheer hatred has over-ridden common sence and rationality. It has become the same support that is arround football teams. At this point however, I don’t think anybody can be swayed by reason, the decissions have already been made and the sway voters are not so many in my analysis.

  85. One surprising thing about PF and its cadres is the inability to analyze issues.It seems as though all PF cadres/members are indoctrinated with a virus of stupidity and abject foolishness. One automatically becomes an ***** upon joining PF even if one is an intellectual! I just do not know what is wrong with this party.I strongly suspect it has some very powerful satanic strings attached to it,no wonder the public-chicken-killing-rituals and its association to the Post which is claimed to be satanic.

They have one common trait – they think politics gives them the right to deceive and that Zambians are naive and stupid. There is no value system nor principles that have brought them together.     • Don’t waste your breath. PF supporters are seemingly incapable of intelligent discourse. They probably do not understand the issues and most of them have probably not even read their party’s constitution.

    the Central Committee.” This is sad indeed. Such high level dictatorship should be stoped. PF is certainly taking Zambia back to socialism and dictatorship, visible from the absolute powers entrusted in their president.

  205. Did MMD`s constitution when they came into power say they were going to privatise the Mines? Did it say they were going to give away houses, a thing which has suddenly resurfaced in 2011?   206. I have just finished reading the PF constitution and it seems we are basically going back to pre-1991 days. I looks like it will be the Party and it’s Govt of UNIP days. After reading the constitution, I am more scared than ever. Why would someone want to go back to a system that had proven not to work? Even the biggest socialist countries like China and Russia have given up on those ideas.

    I think we are more in trouble than I originally thought. God help us.

    • Agreed. This is really frightening – it is clear that PF has used UNIP’s ways as a blueprint for their own manifesto. Just look at the titles: ‘Member of the Central Committee, Provincial Political Secretary’ etc. The PF constitution talks of parastatals, which may be an indication that they intend to nationalise businesses again. It says they are anti-capitalism. Sociallism or communism again? God forbid!

      One gets the impression that PF supporters are either very young and do not remember the UNIP/KK days (and what is in store for all of us if PF forms the next government), or they have just not bothered to read their own constitution. Very sad. God help Zambia. It really needs some quality leadership.

  207. It is clear to any objective political observer that neither RB nor Sata is fit to rule if the country is to achieve any meaningful and long lasting development. Neither the MMD nor PF is democratic. It is not a choice between two goods, nor between a good and an evil, but a choice between two evils. The trick is to choose a lesser evil. Either way, the Zambians are the real losers.

  212. These constitutional excepts were copied directly from UNIP’s One Party Participatory Decomocracy where only one Man, KK, participated while the rest of us watched. Does the PF want to take us back there? Cant they THINK for themselves and come out with something original. Sata was a stalwart of UNIP…no wonder he cant think beyond UNIP dictatorship, 20 years after the downfall on Kaunda!
