Sata fires IG and all DCs, disolves boards of BOZ, ZRA, NAPSA and ZESCO

Share

Former Inspector General Francis Kabonde has been fired

President Michael Sata has fired all the Seventy three District Commissioners and appointed civil servants to take over the positions.

The President has since directed all the dismissed district commissioners to vacate office and government homes with immediate effect.

President Sata said that the District Commissioners should not be affiliated to any political party.

State House has produced a list of recommended civil servants to be appointed as District Commissioners.

The President also fired Inspector of Police Francis Kabonde. President Sata has appointed Copperbelt Commanding Officer, Dr Martin Malama as Inspector General of Police, taking over from Francis Kabonde.

President Sata has ordered newly appointed Inspector General of Police, Dr Martin Malama to sweep State House clean of corruption.

Mr Sata said that State House is full of corrupt officers who benefited from the previous government.

The President said that some Police officers at state house acquired canters which were corruptly obtained by the MMD government.

And President Sata has dissolved the boards of Zambia Revenue Authority, ZESCO and the National Pensions Scheme Authority -NAPSA.

Mr Sata has also retired ZESCO Managing Director, Ernest Mupwaya and has replaced him with the former chief Executive Officer Cyprian Chitundu.

President Sata says Mr Mupwaya was dubiously appointed as Managing Director of ZESCO.

    • Such prudent leadership and anti corruption drive increases confidence in the economy mudala, and thus positively drives the strength of the economy.

  1. how many more people are going to get fired without enquiries being made? i know they have to get rid of corrupt people, which i support, but has mr sata fired these people after investigations have been completed?i doubt that. i hate to say it but this sounds like dictatorial tactics. i do hope for the sake of zambias, zambia doesnt turn into another zimbabwe.

    • Dont be silly. Obviously you have personal issues. Every head of State works with a team that he feels confident with. Those people who have been fired saw it coming. Where were you looking? Dont just hate. Its easy to hate Michael Sata because he has surprised those who did not hope he could win, by actually winning. Please dont hate, and dont confuse people’s minds. Of course you’re free to express your opinion, but be more responsible than hateful.

    • Maybe these people were already known as corrupted before he took power, I also hope it’s not a move to put people he liked beforehand, Hope again it’s for the best for a new Zambia, although the old one was OK too :-?

  2. President Sata Promised Change within 90days. To be frank with these people critizesing the president, MMD was rotten from the head to the tail. How does one sale a bank with out papers. Mr.President hold a press cönference to announce the reversing of Zamtel. By the way there is one fat cat called Amon jere at Zamtel getting about K200million. Please take action now you find that even Zamtel was sold with out papers. Dont give them time they will prepare fake papers.

  3. A new president needs new people around him, IG and those boards,NAPSA,ZESCO and ZRA they knew that this day will come from the day Sata became president, he promised to clean out all these corrupt officers. Good job Mr president about DC, putting civil servants as DC officers and NOT politicians coz that is civic position.

  4. Can you imagine the damage to be done if Sata was a court judge? He apparently would make all case decisions without court deliberations ,no evidence collected ,no witnesses to give evidence bcoz he knows it all by himself. This decisions are getting ridiculous by the day and he needs to know that even as president there are rules to be followed. He is issuing directives like a 15th century african village chief who ignores advice of village elders.

  5. Beatiful! This is fire! Burning all chaff in its way. Not perfect but necessary. May God give His Excellency more wisdom and courage to foster the change Zambians need. VIVA!

  6. #6 zambianraisedbritishborn,

    You Moron Hyena!!!

For goodness sake, how do you expect Sata to investigate the firing of District Commissioners and the corrupt IG Kabonde?

Every Zambian have advocated for the appointments of civil servants as DCs and not party cadres!!

And Dr Malama qualifies to be a proper IG and a modern one for that point!!! He is a current Zambian generation in tune with what is currently prevailing in Zambia!!

  7. The next move is that Chief justice must go he has overstayed in that capacity, and board of directors at ZNBC they must be preparing for exodus too.

  8. Well done your excellency! civial servant should have something to smile for, not a situation where party cadres with grade seven certificates are holding such sensitive positions. some civial servants are higly qualified and a move by the previous govt upset most of them

  9. \:d/ ALL i’M SAYING PEOPLE
    YOU ASKED FOR CHANGE
AND YOU GOT THE CHANGE, 90 Days ba kalamba
    twala inyelawila during this time
    King Cobra no shit

  10. Why has he by-passed Commissioner Graphael Musamba as IG? Further, he has fired all DCs and will replace them with new DCs – where is the change here? Do we really need these DCs????

    • May be you should wait and see who replaces the DCs, and for your choice of IG, does the president need your advice?

  11. SATA has been in GRZ for a long time. He has been in LSK for a very long, long time. He knows government ministries and agencies like the back of his hands. If you have followed politics even his opponents for years were peplexed to learn that he had data which only Ba Shushushu could have! Zambia needs him that is why we voted for him. A New broom sweeps better! Go Mr. President. All Ba MMD bloggers here who thought he would never the President are still in shock!

  12. What assurance is there that the new appointees are not PF cadres. One can be a civil servant but also a PF cadre. I think that telling them to vacant offices and homes with immediate effect in being inhuman why the rush? who is this so called sata trying to please. Will there be no hand overs from the old.

  13. and we thought it was for the better……here we go again misusing powers , the banks , the police , and the wait and see

  14. Only people who benefit from corruption are not happy. Tell me what is wrong with Sata saying DCs should be civil servants, not party cadres? By the way, Dr. Malama congratulations. I know Dr. Malama from UNZA days, he will sweep out corruption. Sata is just doing his job, very well!!!

  15. Payback season in full swing. These ongoing changes may appear to be severe for the momment but they may just turn out to be necessary in shaping Zambia’s future.

  16. In the Western World leaders resign on moral grounds. This should be a lesson well done mr President.Zambia is not poor.Mr President plse clean all the dead woods we don’t want chekelako send the strong message no compromise here in the UK there is no room for corrupt leaders.Don’t hesistate to fire corrupt leaders.MMD had expected this no wonder they tried to use all Govt.machinery and resources to stop mr President Sata.Welll done Sir

  17. Fitamfye biggie !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fyonsefye kuyabele, why keep them??? Balilya palifula chapwa………..

  18. Inspector of Police Francis Kabonde, thank god he has been fired. He never did anything when people were being harassed for no reason.

  19. Mmmh BOZ,NAPSA,ZESCO Boards dissolved, wooow hope Mr president you will put into the constitution security of tenure for technical positions like the BANK GOVERNOR,Auditor General etc.(The issue of Dr Fundanga,an intelligent and an accomplished man,now messed up by RB and MMD make sad reading indeed). Can Zambia attract qualified and dignified Zambians in its current constitutional influence from the executive ARM?? Also on all the Boards don’t put people you can easily control but men and women who can stand up for Zambia. Men and women of values and integrity, academically qualified to sift through matters that are hearty to our country. Theissue of FINANCE BANK like all investments in Zambian MUST be protected by the law. Investments or businesses should never depend on politicians

  20. But you Zambians, Who says SATA is not making enquiries. He IS consulting and announcing WHAT HAS BEEN DECIDED by his consultative team. Nishani mwe bantu! Just relax and watch the man clean this country in the next 90 days.

  21. Zambians. Take a look at your zambian kwacha note. It is being printed by THREE different companies. De la Rue, SABN and Giesecke & Devreint. Don’t you just smell a rat?

  22. comrades, if I may say, President is well vested with how Government machnery works, trully like said one follower, “that he had data which only Ba Shushushu could have” that is why you should not cheat yourself that he is acting blindly.By the way, its good to make swift changes and later sit and watch the guys at work. If he delays he will be compromised by thos who would go crying, just on Sunday at a mass, they wanted to take him for a ride by saying that he should forgive RB, he swiftly rose and told the priest that…how do you run a government which says it will fight corruption then on the other side you let go the theives?? running by 10 comandments” baba…one says thow shall not steal….the rest you know. Go on President, You are on the right track. only thieves will worry.

  23. @41 Abantu aba balempapusha ine mwe…..Do you even need to consult to fire the IG??? That is straight forward, he knew it was coming and we ALL he was going to be fired, why should we beat about the bush? Ni working Government iyi fyonse who were aiding and abetting the MMD bullshit kuyabele..We are cleaning house….

  24. Kabonde should have gone after Mufumbwe election, the chap ran away from cadres instead of protecting citizens. he let Will Blunder on opposition and innocent citizens… Good riddance, who needs a police chief like that? No need foer commission, it was all in black and white.

  25. # 7, I am just wondering who the President must inquire from? These are positions that are constitutionally Presidential prerogative to appoint and disappoint. Who do you want President Sata to ask for IG position? Who do you want him to ask for PS positions? Who appointed DCs? Do you want Sata to come and ask you if he can remove Kabonde? What in your small brain do you think are Presidential powers if he has to inquire about everything? When Rupiah Banda was doing all he did, who did he inquire from? Even things that the nation in unison said he must not do, he did. Why didn’t you cry dictatorship? Do you want every position to be appointed using a referendum? Do you in your right senses (if you have any) expect President Sata to work with Kabonde and all those MMD DCs? Think pliz.

    • @kalos2121, you are a genus! Please ask and educate them, dum asses!!! We don’t need to move backwards. Viva Mr. President!

  26. Only a MAD person gets upset when dirty is swept away because he/she loves dirty and that is where he/she gets dirty food from. Who is MAD NOW?!!!!!!

  27. #48, you hit the spot. it seems #7 is not thinking. You move in house you need to clean it up before settling. By the way, may be #7 is just frustrated because his relatives IG is fired. Look at what happened at the coal mine in Maamba, Kabonde and RB failed to execute their duty in prosecuting the chinese who shot zambians, Plese #7 dont prompt us to write rubbish on this forum. Stay cool as the country is being cleansed of the dirty left by you associates.

  28. You MMD cadres are so pathetic like your brains are littered with the dirty from Soweto Market. Did you last think? I have read and watched your foolish posts about dictator this, dictator that. Where did you see a new President working with their political enemies manpower? Why should this be Sata’s problem that DC’s were MMD cadres? Why can’t you just accept defeat to this hardworking Zambian? I time again told you that when the real government take effect, it will be you lazy bums to suffer, and yes, you must suffer to consequences of your misdeeds. If you expect to let HE Sata to keep you in offices, then what change would that be? You failed with RB, do you want to make Sata fail too? Do you guys have migraine headaches when you think? Please just for sake of sanity, try hard.

    • bauze mwandi!! they are busy ducking when the man of action is busy organizing his house will support his HE all the way after all it shall be well

  29. You fools screamed “Nafuti, Nafuti, Nafuti” to MMD corruption and failures. Do you really want that? Why should we people suffer because of your stupid corruption and failures? Sata has been in Office exactly a week. By this time Rupiah had been out of the country on trips 3 times. Is that what you want instead of cleaning house? Do you want Sata to work with the likes of William Banda, Chalwe and other MMD cadres who committed crimes while Kabonde was watching and cheering? What happened in Mufumbwe? Kabonde was in town, and people were killing each other. The fool never even made a plea for people to stop hacking each other. Do you expect Sata to work with such a person? Sata was tear gassed in the presence of Kabonde, and you all laughed. Do you want Sata to keep such a person?

  30. Sata fires all district commissioners and requests them to vacate the houses immidiately! Is this a President or a shift boss at Nchanga Open pit? And i can see his brainless Kaponyas on this blog ululating. These district officers are Zambians with families, with school going children. Why should they be treated like murderers? Why cant Sata give them enough time to prepare—–these are not senior officers. Give them reasonable notices. And yet just last week Sata declared to rule on 10 commandments. What does the 2nd commandment teach us? And how can the whole president be carrying a list of his own preferred junior officers? Sata has apponted Malupenga as permanent secretary, is this guy a civil servant? Isn`t Malupenga a PF cadre?

  31. Who is next? I think it is just right to fire those who worked with old regime and hire your royalist anywhere in this world. The Bemba say nsansa ku nchinjanya(sp)!!!! They smiled and enjoyed during MMD err and its time for others to smile and enjoy….common guys no need to throw tuntrums to each other

  32. I remember when Justice Sakala refused to shake Sata’s hand at a funeral. I wonder if that incident has come to haunt him. Did he shake Sata’s hand at the inauguration ? What goes round comes round

    • Walasa pakebo! Like the saying goes YOU SHALL BE DECORATED, PARADED AND ANNOUNCED BY YOUR EMEMY. Thats exactly what happened to our President. Viva MCS

  33. our new IG is a performer & very fit man in his reign as cb police chief sanity has returned kuno kumigodi ba sakala ba copper naba jerabo bonse yali luka that’s the kind of. Man we need in such an office not ba Kabonde iyi yena ni good riddance? Ba cadre chikalamikalipa fye let all the rotten eggs go talema navo

  34. I dont feel sorry for these guys who fired… Zambia is for all, let others also get fat…or fatter for GBM… we have more actions than 90 days…Viva PF and Ba Sata …nicekeko…Sata knew what to do if voted a Presdo 10 years ago..so for him this is normal speed.. just fasten your seatbelt if u re MMD or UNDP…

  35. Credit should be given where it is due. Mr. Chitundu’s appointment as ZESCO MD is a good decision. The termination of the DCs employment contracts is also good. We will, however, crutinise their replacements. The appointment of Dr. Malama as Police IG is also good. Appointing Max Nkole as PS MOH is a blunder. The man is a PF cadre. Micheal should have appointed any of the hard working civil servants within the ministry. Appointing Amos Malupenga as PS is another blunder. Amos is politically inclined to PF. There are many hard working civil servants at Director level who deserve to be promoted to the position of Permanent Secretary.

  36. Power in the hands of a Cobra. Jobs for PF cadres. Strange Times of Zambia, Daily mail The post its all Sata. Democracy at work even the post has been silenced there man is at state house.

  37. Satan did the right thing firing DC’s appointed on party lines. Then he produces his own list of new DC’s from State House. What’s the difference? They will start acting on party lines – exactly the rot we thought was going with out with MMD.

  38. Dc s am afraid are supposed to be in line with the Govt of the day, so they ruling party should have a say on whom to give the post, period. Viva Sata for the list u have produced from State house.

  39. Dont lie that the Post has been silenced. The Post criticised Sata for nominating more than 4 relatives to his cabinet in their editorial. The Post is The Post. Even if I am PF, I am ready to accept constructive criticism from Post, Zambian Watchdog or whatever. I will also criticise my govt when it does wrong things. Meanwhile, I can’t imagine what will happen in the next 80 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  40. Action after Action. Let Parliament open and you will see ACTION ORIENTED BILLS being presented. We need to clean up the mess and corrupt before we start building. Tighten your belts because we are moving at supersonic speed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  41. I have no problems with him sacking all this deadwood, it was a waste of space and I’m glad it has been gotten rif off. However, nearly 90% of all his appointments thus far have been Bemba. Just watch the backlash come back to engulf him. The man’s tribal bigotry is dangerous and just watch this space, it will not be long before the wave comes back to drench him with vernomous force.

  42. These are symptoms of a rotten and ineffective constitution, or may be we do not have one or it does not touch on core issues of democracy, if it does then it works only for Kaponyas. After all these wholesale pronouncements by one Zambian then we must think of a very good constitution, because these are merely symptoms of a defective system. May be SATA is right by just showing that the system allows one man to “dance” while his entire cabinet looks on. Our priority should be a “people” driven constitution- Dean (MHSRP) emphasized the point of a good constitution, without it even a good president will fail.

  43. According to pg44 of the PF Manifesto 2011 – 2016:
“Ensure that Permanent Secretaries are appointed by the President onthe recommendation of the Public Service Commission and subject toratification by the National Assembly;”Have the PS’s that HEMCS appointed been ratified by the NA and were they recommended by the Public Service Commission as per the Manifesto. Some of the actions of the last couple of days have been in direct contravention of his own party manifesto. This is going to be an interesting boat ride

  44. Pray that you don’t die soon or else you will miss the new Zambia.Chiluba said “are you ready” , I advise you all to tune your minds to this speed because as far as I know king cobra we are not even halfway. The next 90 days will be crucial. Only those who benefited from MMD will complain the speed.

  45. You people who are complaining I thought everyone expected the PF to fill sensitive positions with its own people who can run with their policies. How come you are complaining about these changes. I don’t blame you because you anticipated the SERVANT KING to be slower in implementing change than RB. Just accept that you got it wrong by the time we will be rolling our change every key and desirable personnel should be in place. So get used to our style Zambia is in a hurry to develop, Please watch!

  46. At least he has the guts to do it, alot of these people belong in jail, look how many British Lords & Mps of all partys ended in jail for fiddling expences.Lord Taylor got 12 months in prison for fiddling £5,000,Chungu and alot of these MMD crooks people stole millions of dollars.Zambians please let us help our Preident clean up this mess created by Chiluba were they thought they owned Zambis

  47. WORK IN PROGRESS..CLEANING IN PROGRESS!!!
What did you expect when he said he will bring dignity in 90 days…you ZAMBIANS have been VERY docile, brain dead, lazy for far too long under that corrupt frog RB and 20 years of MMD…when this man was Lusaka governor he sorted a lot of things….Please sir carry on!!
    I SALUTE YOU Mr. PRESIDENT!!!

  48. Fellow Zambians, the president started ruling the country a long time ago no buwelewele alebomona what investigations are people talking about? Iya sangwapo yaliko nakakwibele could tell,he had the presidency at heart thats why he used to tell them that let me come and show you how to govern people…..we have just started if your uncle was acting like a cadre we are sorry he must go we are washing this corrupt nation and numbers in parliament only few petitions would do simple.

  49. As a person who had to leave his beautiful ranch due to continuous corruption and harassment by police officers taking orders from someone at the “top” on behalf of a well known Irish thief, I am VERY happy to see this broom sweeping clean.  I will be back home by the end of the month.  Time to continue building the nation.  Sad I had to loose 12 years of development under MMD.
How many others are in my shoes who will be coming home again at last.
Let the Nation finally develop without people paying or accepting bribes for the wrong it causes.:d

  50. I am not a PF fun but I totally welcome the reinstatement of Cyprian Chitundu as ZESCO managing director. I support all these moves that he has made. Keep on going. I would have done the same if I had been voted into state house.

  51. Good move, and we hope for better from this changes. But the GRZ should find a good system of work and to seal all the loopholes of corruption.

  52. Mr. President, please Francis Kabonde. The man was nothing, but a party cadre. Wasn’t he recently with RB on the campaign trail on the east coast? He needs to explain the escort vehicle saga. People need to realize that corruption has to be tackled from every angle, if  we are to succeed as a country. MMD did a lot of damage to our country, thank God there is new sheriff in town. Plunderers can run, but they can’t hide.

  53. Zambian love to complain, just like those jews complained about Maana that heaven sent them… THE SAME vILLIANS everyone wanted sorted out..now some people have a problem with what method Sata uses to deal with them like they cared for any poor ass Zambian.. if they had been upright caring good servants i would have a problem with sata ..but they derserve just that.. just like F.T.J just derserved to be thrown into jail straight with no shit about lawyers..

  54. # 73, wayoyomba yewe. We told you that Wina Azalila. Now, have you read that document called the constitution? Where does it say that it will change automatically when PF get in office? Are asking Mr Sata to wait for the Rupiah Banda appointed Public Service Commission to give him names to appoint as PSs and then go and waste his time with HH run Tonga Party to ratify his appointments? Washala mune, keep on waiting for ratification from HH. Us we have moved on. What you read in the manifesto is what they will recommend to be in the constitution. PF is not as stupid as HH’s party. Sata showed him that he was really not a factor in the PACT, but the fool wanted to impose himself on the people and the PACT. It is bye HH. Also, be reminded that Sata ratified everything with the Zambians.

  55. BEMBAS!!!  WE ARE BACK IN GOVERNMENT WE WILL SHOW YOU HOW WE DO IT BETTER, BIG UP MCS SATA, BUT IAM NOT ENJOYING THIS SPEED AND NO REASONING WAY OF DOING THINGS I THINK SATA AND PF ARE ENJOYING POLITICAL ORGASIM

  56. # 86, you can have your orgasm too if you want. But choose how you do it, which wont be our problem or business. The speed is in relation with damage done to the nation. Tomorrow will be asking people if they want the “Abuse of Office Law” back and it is a resounding yeeessss Sir! No need to worst time with HH and MMD criminals to debate this issue. Do you remember the Nkana Rugby team motto? MEN AT WORK, now it is SATA AT WORK.

  57. Sata electrocutes ZESCO Boss. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha. Is this guy who turned off electricity in Lusaka just because Sata was addressing a national rally in Mandevu and he did not want people nationwide to hear the Message?

  58. @Kalos2121, You correct SATA is at work.I fill like we are moving at 170KM/H. 2morrow the Cobra will definetly bite some more have got a filling.

    • South African Airways flieght No.8155 cruising at 800km/h expected to land at Oliver Tambo International Airport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! am your pilot MCS enjoy your flieght and make sure all your laguages are secure and seat belts fasten……. in case of emmergency landing ensure that you have Dr. Malama’s cell Number

  59. It is inhumane to evict these people from their houses. They need notice. These are Zambians and they need respect. Is this what Satas rule is going to be characterised. The problem with us people is that we fail to perceive how it is being on the receiving end of injustice and that is why we are capable of so much cruelty. You can fire these people but they have rights under domestic and international law. I advise these people to use the courts to delay their evictions. No court will enforce such badly thought instructions from the highest office. Remember that we have three organs of govt and the executive is only one of them.

  60. This trend will continue. After 5 years, all these appointees will also be fired. And because most of them know that, they will make sure they steal in the 5 year period.

  61. #90
Its clear cut that is government property, that’s why you guys don’t know the difference between GRZ property and your assets as you were institutionalized with corruption under those shameless petty MMD thieving good for nothing thugs. Its 2011 now there are no longer jobs for life, wake up, you got used to lazy RB giving free houses unheard of even in rich developed countries.. People in developed countries work 45+ hrs week and you guys laugh every time you hear this. How many public holidays have you had in Zambia so far?? Include Xmas holidays its a joke!!
This is what is needed pa Zed for people to wake up and not just wait for money to jump in their pockets whilst their sipping Mosi.
    Keep it up Mr. Sata!!

    • # 90
I support you. Its time to wake up and be professional. If these DCs were professional in their jobs they could have been treated with respect. We all know that DCs were just campaign tools for the MMD! Who would respect these kinds of people who trampled upon innocent Zambians. # 90 should know that this is some form of punishment and serves as a warning that no party can be in power for ever. Same goes to this kabonde guy who started licking william banda’s dirty boots!

  62. # 3
You surely have no analytical mind! Sata is the only president of Zambia who has had a plan for this country for a very long time. He had promised to ‘sweep’ this country clean of corruption and mediocrity! Where were you when he said he would do these things!

  63. Good cleaning is happening.Mr.President,the Ministry of Health has to be purified too.In MOH doctors work harder and harder.Even with their on-call allowances they have no good claim. We work for so many extra hours but we are only given one fifth of our claims while the remaining dissappears. The guys just chew the millions and have no one to check the vise.Look at how i suffered when i was a junior doc.You make 14million/month on on calls ,you get k1.5m after 2months.The rest goes unclaimed.Next these cadres running our missions only respect children of ministers.Even the children would threaten them of firings if the scholarship allowances are nt sent in time.
    Please clean the missions

  64. Yes you wanted change can the president have a heart where can someone have a house to move his family in immediately. Some of the children are in schools ooh what a change

  65. Decisive moves which should enhance confidence in the economy as corruption is minimised and mediocrity swept clean. Bravo and remain consistent.

  66. My friend all those guys who have been fired have aquired houses thru rampant cooruption which was the order of the day in RuBish Shrek’s government. Next all those dismissed must now be fully investigated including RuBish and his family since they were the one fired first. Lets clean up Zambia Mr President like you said it sticks of corruption.

  67. Next we need to know how Mr Kavindele was awarded the railway line contract in North Western Province and how he managed to be flying in the Presidential chopper with RuBish Shrek. Corruption will be a thing of the past and all those assholes who entertained it will be behind bars. Our ultimate goal is to have RuBish explain to the Zambian pipo why he entertained corruption at such a massive scale and the only way to do it is by stripping him his immunity. Bravo H.E.M.C.S

  68. Before you settle in a new house you need to clean it. What the president is doing is fine, only corrupt elements will complain because they know that their source of income will be compromise. Please dont complain just wait and see whats coming. Honestly do these guys complaining expected Mr. Sata to work with close allies of RB? Please work up and jump into the boat.

  69. What about this Special Assistant to the President Alfonso Banda who was chased at State House last week and I hear is causing havoc at some department at Cabinet Office. What is so special about him moving back to Cabinet Office. He must also go like the others have done. Can we have sanity.

  70. How did we manage to live with so much corrupt trash around kanshi. Mr President we are behind you 100% sweep, sweep the whole country. Capitalist, MMD Bootlicker etc where are you guys come and join us in the boat as we continue sweeping Zambia of corrupt trash. Pa bwatooooooooooo!!!!!!

  71. No 101 ,what plan has Sata/PF have for the nation. What is the view of PF on the economy, transport, housing, education, health etc.Even corruption how do they plan to eradicate the vice.

  72. @111…. a farmer will only lay his tereces once he burns the tall elephent grass that is spread in his farmland.. so is a builder before laying the foundation from the drawn plan he first aquires a bull dozer to clear and level the ground. SO MCS IS JUST DOING IT THE RIGHT WAY

  73. I appreciate the changes but I hate the spirit behind the change, we should remember that we are a christian nation and the decisions made by the president should depict Godly values. After all it is God who allowed the presidency and it is him who determines the end of each presidency.

  74. No 111. Planning is wholestic. How do you expect PF to plan with MMD Cadres around in Planning Offices? PF should first get rid of all MMD “planners” then start planning. I am sure you understand the planning process. You do not plan with people who will not executive your ideas for the benefit of your ideals. MMD and PF are two different persons at the moment. It will be suicide for PF to plan whilst MMD cadres are still in sensitive positions in Government.

  75. We wanted change and change has come. Lets support the President and appreciate. I cant wait to hear the outcome on sale of ZAMTEL and FINANCE BANK. Those that are critizising are immuned to change. Bafyelwe inchushi, bekala buchushi buchuchi, babombelafye ubuchushi balefwaya bakafwe nenchushi? Imwebantu nichani ayiii!!!! CHANGE YOUR THINKING!!!!

  76. ZNBC BOARD MUST GO THERE IS NOTHING THEY DOING. IF ZNBC IS TO MADE A GOOD PUBLIC BROADCASTER THE FIRST STEP IS TO FIRE THE BOARD AND START AFRESH. NAPSA IS INEFFICIENT AND ZESCO. ZRA IS THE KEY REVENUE COLLECTION CENTRE, IF ZRA IS CORRUPT THEN IT WILL AFFECT REVENUE COLLECTION IN ORDER TO RUN GOVERNMENT.

  77. President Sata be careful, consult first, you dont rule a country by directives & decrees
this will make you a Dictator. The people you are firing, arresting, have you heard their side of the
story? . You may be a Darling today but give it a year also you will be criticised left and right

  78. @ Maria thats serious sense you make right there, some of these *****s here are just talking rubbish, the man you guys elected president is going against the true meaning of Democracy. How does he make people who corrupt or otherwise rendered service to Zambia its a shame. Soon he will be shutting down media like Lusaka times, watch this space

  79. 55 years was better, let it then be optional. Those who want to retire at 55 can do so and those who want to go all the way to 65 can do so also.

  80. Ala ni tsunami! did you see the 2 day’s post picture of the vanguished Chituwos,Kabinga pende, prof Lungwagwa & Kozo lodge. they looked dejected, lost not knowing what has hit them. Ba Sata bakali bane. you wait and see. however, we recorded one blunder bakateka you should hve waited for the findings of the commisison of inquiring on FBZ befoer acting. don’t b emotional. we know that these crooks wanted you dead. Stay focused & eyes on the ball. Not all Civic servants were bad RB boys made them behave in that manner. Inzaba nyokula njala.

  81. DCs fired with immediate effect, ordered to vacate their homes with immediate effect, surprisingly the list of recommended Civil Servants is already there or submitted at State House already.Interesting.A lunatic at work.Bakamba,do you still smoke the pipe and weed?I thought your Doctors asked you to stop.CHI DICTATOR.

  82. # 123 you think with your balls. have you seen he list of DCs. Actually we should be agitating for a total abolishment of he DC position . they do nothing other than being a conduit of political convenience. DCs don’t even have annual work plans. Thats why Civic leaders should be above board and handle all issues in their districts without political inclination. # 123 respect ba Kateka even if you are agrived. be civil & patriotic.
