Janza said he will be in charge of the team for the Botswana friendly instead of Herve Renard.

  1. Against who? Botswana???? Lol don’t complain when the ranks comes out!! Your friends are playing big teams and you go and pick botswana!

  2. This is the Great Kalu administration for you, still organising friendlies with (no disrespect to Botswana) low ranking mediocre teams in the neighbourhood. The only teams we should be playing friendlies with in Africa are in the North and West.
How do you let the assistant handle this when we have a head coach who we are paying handsomely in dollars. Do you think the fans would let former England manager Cappello let his assistant handle a friendly game and take a week off. That is part and parcel of being a National coach; FRIENDLY GAMES as that’s only time you have the players to yourself  in between league games, qualifiers and tournaments.

    • If you building a team for the future, then what’s the point of giving HR time off isn’t he part of it…remember that next time around we won’t go into these games as underdogs but as continental  champions as so we have to be prepared and train with best. Why isn’t FAZ utilising the Ndola stadium for hosting friendlies and looking for sites for a building training facilities if they are concerned about the future instead of camping in RSA where your president Kalu resides.

  3. @4 Moonga Mulanga, You clearly have no idea what you talking about nor know how those rankings are calculated. Go to FIFA website and find out. You my friend would make a good candidate for Kalu’s administration team as you have a very simplistic and very laid back approach to issues.

  4. VIVA FAZ. Now you continue to think logically. This is a development side (Zambia B) including the coaching bench. I applaud this move by FAZ because it is forward looking. Some of u didn’t look at HR when Musonda got injured in that final. Go back and revisit all our 2012 CAF games n you will realize that we were in dire need of a defender or two. All the goals that we allowed were as a result of a certain position in defense that we were experimenting on. Well, now is the right time to experiment n find our missing pieces. Also you will recall that that’s how HR built the Reigning Champions of Africa. It was day-in-day-out Lubumbashi or Chingola spuring with DRC, TP, n Lubumbashi select. VIVA FAZ. Now is the time to strengthen our reserve side so we can dig deep when if nd b.

  5. honor janza ,the name sounds as if it may have come from angola the portugese like to come up with names like that.

  6. Jay Jay congrats my man, you have very clear and concise points. Some of the points made by some individuals here are not thorouhly thought out or looking why things are opinionated in certain ways, they hastily jump to conclusions without any foresightedness. Why is it that Zambia does not play bigger teams? because of rankings my friends and lack of proper administration. you watch if we don’t get a good result, we tumble and mind you when you are ranked over 60 (I Quote) proffessional leagues are not hindered from buying home based players.
    something to think about!!

  7. unfortunately rankings are a key part of the game,in terms of player transfers, sponsorship of the national team.can the so called great kalu organise high profile games wth financial rewards as is the case.ba feecolour ba faz need a major shake up.botswana the tswana f.u.c.k.e.r.s

  8. Too many blind Kalu bootlickers pa Zed, its very unpleasant sight…they can’t even question the man!!

  9. Remember people that every time you play a friendly with a low ranking team… the low ranked team has more to gain from the result than us if we lose. How on earth do you think the likes of Algeria are where they are today…some countries use friendlies to market their players in Europe and abroad…imagine if a local based player is sold for $700,000 that would a big boost to their budget for a local club like Nkana or Zanaco.
The AFCON party is over lets move on people!!

  10. May 20th is too far to start shouting, after all Kasengele this is your last announcement, you loose at the next AGM.

  11. Europe for what?Playing football while being called a monkey. The last four AFCONs have after all been won by players based on the African continent.

  12. The problem in Zambia is that we do not know the reasons why certain friendlies are being played. Ask the Technical Team why these friendlies are arranged and why play with these players. Who knew Nathan Nyirenda before the AFCON?

  13.  @Ceausescu,  stop thinking like underdogs that boat sailed a long time ago…lets be progressive and goal oriented, you don’t gain anything from prostituting the players all over the place….I even doubt it if you’ll see that selfsame payment you are on about with these corrupt Kalu fellas.
Why don’t ask your admin the right questions not that my friend.. ask them about the TV rights nobody knows who collects those monies last time i asked…what are they are going to do with the winning AFCON money and grass-roots’ football..remember inter-schools football games, remember that wasted talent that was display at those games.. that’s where it should start.

  14. @Jay Jay.Who told you that it is the National football Association which taps talent from schools? What is the role of the clubs and soccer academies?

  15. # 22 there is nothing wrong with using a B side and be paid for it. only 3 players from AFCON 2012 will be there. they were not even regulars. Mind you Botswana is not a bad team. We could even meet them at AFCON 2013 wouldnt it be nice if we are aware of their playing style

  16. I don’t think Tuesday will be a FIFA day. that means the game will not affect FIFA rankings. If that is the case, experiementrs by the B team could be useful!

  17. Esther Dorothy Loram Posted on Iwould like a scholarship in the above field of hmaiitnes in your institution ,how can i access one ,i would like to persue a masters in Gender Specialised in Education from Africa

  18. To find the greatest bang for your buck it’s extremely recommended to buy your footwear through sanctioned sellers.
