Luka Milanzi Hopes for Better Fortunes at Zesco Utd

Malawian midfielder Luka Milanzi says he was targeting to play regularly at Zesco United where TP Mazembe have loaned him.

Milanzi has joined Zesco on a one-year-long loan deal after struggling to command a place in the Mazembe team.

He told LT Sports in Kitwe that he was excited to join Zesco.

Milanzi stated that he was not content to stay at Mazembe minus playing.

“They (Mazembe) didn’t give me much time to play that is why I asked for this loan move,” he said.

” That is why I am here I want to play. Being a player is about playing,” Milanzi stated.

“I am feeling good and the boys (Zesco players) are very friendly so it is good to join them,” he added.

Zesco had interest in Milanzi before he joined Mazembe.

  1. All African players (except Egyptians & South Africans) will belong to TP Mazembe.
Anyway, ZESCO has to use the opportunity to use international players like Milanzi to up-lift the image of the team.
