Share

Nkana lost 3-0 away to TP Mazembe before the game was abandoned in the second half.

The match was called off after a heavy downpour in Lubumbashi on Tuesdays afternoon.

All three goals came in the first half of the game that were scored by Mazembe’s Zambian duo of Rainford Kalaba and Jonas Sakuwaha.

Kalaba scored a brace while new signing Sakuwaha added to against their compatriots.

Nkana head back to Zambia on Wednesday after their one-day visit to Lubumbashi.

  1. Who cares? afterall the game was abandoned who knows nkana would have come back, no one is a winner untill the final whistle

    • Malinso wansekesha.

      Nkana could have equalised???

Nkana could have played na Ref, same thing we did Zambia Vs Nigeria at AFCON. The ref could have given Nkana 5 penaulties. he he he he

    • In this case, the final whistle was blown just that it was blown off earlier than expected. Our Zambian team lost. What are the rules of the game according to CAF/FIFA regualations?

  2. When is our local Soccer League gonna be attractive? In the 70s and 80 the Premier league used to attract soccer fans to the extent of filling up a stadium, which is no longer the case now. At that time Soccer was atrractive starting from Primary Schools. The Standard of Soccer in a Secondary School Team, e.g. Mufulira High School would beat all these teams we have in the Premier League today. Abraham Nkole, Ackim Musenge, Benjamin Bwalya, Kalusha Bwalya, Gerald Mwamba etc. All these guys were picked to play in Mufulira Wanderers first team coz of their competitiveness in the School Team. What has happened to competitive sports in schools nowadays? Inter house, Inter Schools, Inter Districts and Inter Province. That was the best arrangent we have ever had, which has been totally crashed.

    • Too much intertainment in the homes nowadays leaving no room for other activities outdoor. Our Children rush home for tight TV schedules (programs) just after school. Others who can make good players spend hours drinking various types of beer. Sad!

  3. Lesotho v Zambia; 22nd March, Zambia v Lesotho; 8th June, Zambia v Sudan; 15th June, Ghana v Zambia; 7th September, 2013…

  4. Lets get local players like what keshi did, these guys are too ,”rich” satisfied with wat they have achieved ma local players will have something to prove.

  5. No problem it was all Zambian players losing to each other. no foreign player scored against Nkana so no embarrassment. Something should be done, Sakuwaha scores at club level, Jacob scored a good goal pa wkend and Kalaba scored twice yesterday then we say we have no strikers??? This is unacceptable, Renard is the problem here!! lwenu muka believer…
