President Michael Sata
President Michael Sata

President Michael Sata has said that he has no intentions of turning the country into a one party state.

He was speaking at State House today when he swore in newly appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs Effron Lungu and Commerce, Trade and Industry Deputy Minister Richwel Siamunene.

President Sata has officially appointed Effron Lungu as the new Foreign Affairs Minister replacing Given Lubinda who has been dropped pending the determination of his disciplinary case by the party’s Central Committee.

President Sata has also appointed another UPND Member of Parliament Richwell Siamunene as Commerce, Trade and Industry Deputy Minister, becoming the second UPND MP to be co-opted into the PF government after Greford Monde who was also appointed as deputy Minister two weeks ago.

President Sata swore-in Mr Lungu this morning who was until his appointment Foreign Affairs deputy minister. President Sata made no mention of Mr Lubinda during the searing ceremony.

Mr. Sata urged the newly appointed to work hard in the execution of their duties.

Others sworn-in are Dr. Roland Msiska as Secretary to the Cabinet and Robert Kamalata as senior private Secretary in the Office of the Vice president.

And President has announced the death of Chieftainess Chanda Mukulu of Kasama, Northern Province who passed on this morning at the University teaching Hospital (UTH) in Lusaka.

  1. I would like to see Zambia implement a ban on child production unless you earn at least £18 000 kwacha equivalent
Has anyone noticed how the population has almost doubled from 9million to now apparently approaching 15miliion in just 17 years that is absurd!
People that is 66% increase in population, in a country whose average life is less than 40! This is not about my PhD why are the poor allowed to have children? Why don’t we cap it?
I would love to see an arrangement where people get a licence from the government to have a child and if they happen to have a child without a licence an abortion suffices
I think then we could reduce population and help alleviate this country from its poor doldrums and be the next ‘Botswana’
    Anyone agrees with me?
    Thanks

    • which do you belong for you to encourage the killing of an unborn child. if you want to be rich by killing innocent souls then you are not a christian but from the other world. therefore I dont support your notion. its ridiculous. you can be intelligent to have a phd but you are not wise at all.

    • Wisdom is different from knowledge, you can go to school to have knowledge, but wisdom is God given and for sure one of the two lucks in Mushota

    • Wow Mushota, strong views but I see a lot of logic in what you are saying. The problem would be the authoritarian nature of government that would be required to carry out such radical policies! Needs a lot of thinking through…. My regards to you.

    • This ka Mushota b.i.t.c.h just talks when her p.u.s.s.y itches for a d.i.c.k since she works in a brothel where men do not frequent! What sort of stupidity is this?

    • as a PHD student you should know by now that labor is part of ‘factors of production’….judging you by your public utterances such as this posting, i would not be surprised if your parents told me that they used a condom but you were still conceived and born….learn to humble yourself as no one in Zambia lines up at your house for a meal!

    • Your arguments boarders on human rights which Im afraid is a slippery subject because it has no straight forward answers.Over and above your imaginary PHD should be sufficient to eduacate you that implimenting your suggestion would infringe on people’s rights.Similarly the law never stopped you from getting into bed with Nick and getting pregnant out of wedlock. Why do you want to put a cash cut off point on who should have children?Your argument could be dismissed in Scotland as senseless.I dont know why you want it in Zambia.

    • But kapuba ka Mushota. Just because you can’t conceive you shift your anger on the poor who are fertile. Anyway keep your radical ideas in your head.

    • I am shocked and trembling that you would dismiss a definite suggestion that would work
My concern is as follows what will happen to the population in the next 50 years ?
In China you are only allowed to have one child and believe me China is a First world country they are scared of ‘humanly polluting their country’, Zambia is poor and I think these steps should be taken NOW

When I was in traffic was insane too many cars on the streets and seeing that zambia is poor to do anything about this and all the people on the streets, the best thing is to curb the population!

WHO do I have to qualify my point for you to understand it?

Forget my fiance Nick or my education this is common sense and should be supported and adopted NOW.

      Thanks

    • You bloggers, why waste time to read mushoto or watever his name is. This is a chap whose father wasted his liquid in the production of this zygote. Mushota is a useless blogger that tries to work on other bloggers mind. Ignore her/him comments and she/he will die a natural death on this platform.

    • Hear this Mushota: “Beware of all covetousness, for a man’s (person’s) life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”
Poverty or riches is NOT what determines the humanity or basic degnity of a person.
Take a serious re-look at your proposal and think through it. As presented, it is harebrained but would have extremely evil consequences for society if implemented.
Think again, my dear PhD Mushota!

    • You will die a sad death, a normal human being God fearing cannot say such things. successful people don’t talk much about themselves, am not too sure about the PHD you lair. if you want to control population please drink some poison.

    • I am shocked with the reasoning on banning child birth. If the author is a Christian, he will appreciate the fact life is given and taken away by God, the Almighty. Then the bare fact is that, only 10-20% of Zambia’s land is occupied. The problem we face is not people having children, it is all about the poor social and economic structures that can support families, joblessness, corruption, greed, unreasonable dispensation of instruemnts of power and polarised political set-up, abetting graft. China and India are budding in their economic growth because they first have utilised their internal market before looking outside and that means you have a population big enough to purchase what you produce. Even in the absence of PHDs, farm labourers, miners, industry workers can support growth

    • Ba Mushota a huge population isn’t always a bad thing. By the way whats the population of Scotland-not including you- and its size compared Zambia? In Economics people are called human resource but the only the problem is on how to efficiently use it to full capacity, look at China and the other Asian Tigers. First thing first EDUCATION EDUCATION EDUCATION and I don’t mean your kid of education.

    • NECESSITY IS THE MOTHER OF INVENTION. HISTORY TEAHCES US HOW EUROPEANS INVENTED SHIPS SO THEY COULD SAIL TO OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD IN SEARCH OF SPICES AND OTHER STUFF. IN ZAMBIA WE’RE TOO FEW FOR OUR LAND SIZE & THE PRESSURE TO BE INNOVATIVE IN A BIT TO SURVIVE AND EXCEL ISN’T SO MUCH. CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT MALAWIANS SLIGHTLY OUTNUMBER US, YET THEIR COUNTRY IS PROBALY JUST OVER 12% OF OURS? SO WE NEED TO STOP DOING THIS THING FOR ENJOYMENT BUT RATHER RECREATION!!

    • Mushota, for goodness sake why don’t you for once do us all a favor, please get yourself a pistol and blow your brains out. The world will be much better with one less !d!ot running around opening their legs and breeding more !d!ots!

You are really so aggravating sometimes and it is not even funny. Please simply plug yours up if you are so concerned about the world population—PhD my @$s!!!!

    • Do you think you are the only one with PhD here on this website? Abakali tabalanda. It seems you are doing PhD in psychology online. If you are a PhD student. I am sure you your opinions would have been full of wisdom. By the l am a PhD and a professor of chemistry. What have you done in life that is making you arrogant towards your fellow Zambians? If you had a PhD l am sure sense will be coming out of your mouth. Go to a reputable university and earn a decent PhD.

    • Did you mean KR18 000 or GBP 18 000. Also is per month or per year. There is a very big difference between these two amounts. Even the Kr 18,000/month is earned by very few people in Zambia.

    • If you take into account the size of the coutry and our natural resource base, Zambia is actually under-populated. The poverty in African particulaly Zed is just due political stupidity and greed.

    • I can’t be suprised Mushota only Stupid *****s can support that because abortions for them is as easy as killing a rat.

Do not abuse that name (Mushota) it comes from a respectable royal family of my lovely mother.Use your PHD somewhere.Do not touch God on his eye.He has plans for us to multiply and subdue the earth. In Fyototo(China) there is a one Child policy but why are they too many like sand.Who feed them?it’s not you Mushota it’s God almight who give them means to fend for themselves. So please find another topic to talk about and leave us alone who are FERTILE.

  2. President truelly has the people of zambia at heart. The appointment of Hon Siamunene shows that the President is committed to running an inclusive government so that development may be taken to all parts of the country. The honourable deputy minister should be commended for rising above petty politics practised by bitter HH and his tribal enclave UPND. This country will be transformed under the visionary and inspirational leadership of President Sata and the Patriotic Front. I want to urge all Zambians to support the PF as it is the only political party with a programme for Zambia.

    • i beg to differ… just analyse how he be littles parties where these MPs come from, its not about ‘inclusive’ ni divide and rule.

    • Oh dear! Another primitive and useful !diot who believes that the country can only develop if everyone was a member of PF and Sata’s Sycophant!

    • Sata should be sick in his head to poach from the party he claims killed Mr Chanda even before he is buried. Save us from this comedy Sata and appoint us who supported and voted for you within the PF. Can the team of doctors be constituted immediately so that they examine my president’s state of mind!

    • Am suprised that some pipo are stil jumpin around and celebratin that sata is president. It’s not abt him being the president that we’re nt hapi abt,it’s th way he’s runing things in th country pliz mwe bantu.

  3. We don’t expect you to turn this country into a one party state your Excellency. Kindly just leave opposition MPs alone! Is that too much to ask?

  4. This president is so petty. Is it his duty to anounce the death of a Chieftness? One wonders whether we have a working president because everything about him is so petty. I can assure you, we have another three-day mourning period coming. Those are the only decisions he can make. He never makes decisions on polcy because the PF have no policy; let alone Sata cannot comprehend so many things hence the indecision. We are in for it. Having a president who does know what he is doing is tantamount to having the country on auto pilot. Zambia twafwa.

  5. Actions speak louder than words Mr. President. Am personally disappointed with the events that have engulfed our country of late. Police brutality, intimidation of the opposition, reckless application of the public order act, just to mention a few, all of these point to the fact that; you are right on truck with your evil agenda of turning this country into a one party sate ,that has left the international community wondering whether you are a democrat or self imposed despot bent on cracking on whoever opposes your authoritarian rule. This is the fact on the ground and no tonnes of lies will change that. Thank you.

  6. Mushota someone would have to be outside their mind to even remotely agree with you. For a PhD fraud you have a misguided analysis. Anyhow to counter your vomit…GOD said go on earth and multiply you don’t need Kr 18,000 or pretend to be in pursuit of a Phd to have a child.

  7. Now that he has spoken to the nation he will go back and hibernate and come back when he has bribed another weak soul with an office and a car with a flag. Brick by brick the whole country will be PF with Sata at the apex of Bemba hegemony Kapwepwe dreamed about. Then it will be back to square one when the whole edifice collapse into rubble as it usually does! Vanity!

    • MY DEAR, YOU CANNOT BLAME SATA. THE OPPOSITION SHOULD BE STRONG AND RESOLUTE ON ITS OWN. IT IS NOT THE DUTY OF SATA TO MAKE THE OPPOSITION STRONG. IT IS NOT HIS DUTY TO HELP UPND OR MMD BECOME STRONG. IF THEY ARE NOT STRONG ON THEIR OWN THEN THEY SHOULD BE BLAMED FOR HAVING WEAK MPS. ONE MAN CANNOT MAKE A ONE PARTY STATE. UNLESS THE OPPOSITION IS MADE OF DULL MPS. SATA HAS HIS OWN PARTY TO CARE ABOUT.

    • You are obviously a useless !diot! Sata is using State resources for his project of vanity. It is not his money that he is squandering on his ego trip. This is taxpayers money which should have been used on developmental and social projects in the country. You and Sata have something in common. You both have no moral centre. You do not know the difference between Right and Wrong. You must be a beneficiary of his nepotism and tribalism!

    • ATI BA UPND MPs BALIBA PRINCIPLED? HOW CAN THEY BE SUPPRESSED BY A POMPOUSLY FOOLISH LEADER. THEY WILL BE JOINING PF ONE-BY-ONE. SATA, GIVE UPND A VERY LONG ROPE. I LIKE SATA- HE’S A SHREWD POLITICIAN. UNDER5 CAN’T MARCH. HE MADE A MISTAKE TO ELOPE AND DIS-ELOPE FROM PF. HE WOULD HAVE BEEN VICE PRESIDO BY NOW. IT’S THE VERY BLUNDER HE MADE THAT DRIVES HIM CRAZY.

  8. HEHEHEHE MWEETWA YOU AR NEXT. HONESTLY WHY WAIT TO BE MINISTER UNDER UPND IN 2040 WHEN YOU CAN EASILY BE MINISTER NOW???? GREAT MOVE SIMUNENE. MONEY NOW IS BETTER THAN MONEY WHICH YOU CANNOT SEE. VIVA SATA

    • UPND WILL JUST BE COMMITTING SUICIDE BY IT’S OWN. WHEN AN MP IS APPOINTED MYOPIC UPND EXPELS HIM/HER (OH! SORRY HH HAS NO REGARDS FOR WOMEN THEREFORE NO WOMAN IS ALLOWED TO BE MP IN UPND OR ARE THERE?), SO ON AND SO FOURTH. LONG SUICIDE ROPE.

  9. He will now hibernate for atleast 1 week.

Reverse psychology: ‘I have no intention of turning this country into a one party state’, read ‘my intention is to turn this country into a one party state’. Actions speak louder!

    • IMWE BA UPND MULI MBUTUMA SANA. IF SATA IS A MAD MAN, HOW CAN YOU ACCEPT A LONG SUICIDE ROPE FROM HIM? CAN YOU SURE ACCEPT A LONG ROPE FROM A PERSON YOU KNOW IS MAD AND EVEN START USING IT TO COMMIT SUICIDE? NI WISDOM BAKWATA FYE BA SHI MULENGA.

    • Mushota has raised an issue. Instead of putting up your arguement, you resort to insulting her. This shows that you are weak with no cocrete contribution to make. You may call her names, but I think she raises more sensible points than your insipid insults! Viva Mushota!

  10. Mushota Zambia has a very little population.17 million is a very small number.Comparing Botswana to Zambia is utterly absurd.Mushota if you are really a Phd student,at least you could know the demographic difference between Zambia and Bots you twat!

  11. Swearing-in ceremonies have now become a weekly fixture, perhaps a show of power, a stroke of the ego…”I will give you this, I will give you that, the others cannot give you etc”

Next week a deputy minister of foreign affairs will be sworn in…this is a big joke!

  12. MUSHOTA I’m convinced that sometimes you think without the clutch. Your brain is in single-mode, no changing of gears on topics.

  13. Mushota! Your behaviour indicates that your background is somehow from a poor family (thats why you not proud of it) and imagine that law existed. You could not be blogging on LT us exposing your Mounorished(sp) upbringing. Be sincere to yourself and have time to reflect on the happenings in relation to your style.

  14. Rabson Chilufya’s (UPND candidate) House in Mpongwe has been burnt down by PF cadres. Police are refusing to arrest the PF criminals. King Cobra is ruling! Mulilo! Wa katako wapya! Please someone take this relic back to the museum!

  15. many more bye electionz to come…someone with wisdom would see what this chi sata is doing is nosence….mr president cnt u have mercy 2 see the lives of people who are dying in the bye-elections?next it will be u with ur cancer……SATA IS THE WORST PRESIDENT ZAMBIA HAD NEVER HAD……..

    • kapokola you dont think whats petty about announcing the chief’s death? Remember the chief died in UTH, he did not die in the village. If no one announced your fathers death dont talk about this you dont understand. town mouse iwe!

    • SOMEONE WITH WISDOM WOULDN’T EXPEL AN MP WHEN APPOINTED TO SERVE IN GOVERNMENT. SOMEONE WITH WISDOM SHOULD REALIZE HOW LONG THE ROPE IS OF EXPELLING ANY APPOINTED MP. BUT, BECAUSE UPND LEADERS ARE EMPTY HEADS THEY CAN’T SMELL THE COFFEE. UPND MEMBERS HAVE THEIR NOSE SEALED WITH COW-DUNG BY UNDER FIVE, BOY, HH.

  16. There is happiness in coming from Poor background and achieving so much, but not when you feel ashmed each time you remember. Thats y Chiluba will still be one of Zambia’s greatest Sons, from such background to Presido thats what i call fighting spirit/ determination. Once you Born you all the same reach or poor parents it’s the way we interact with thoughts about ourselves which makes the Mushotas.
    Baby Gal have a Life!

  17. You bloggers, why waste time to read mushoto or watever his name is. This is a chap whose father wasted his liquid in the production of this zygote. Mushota is a useless blogger that tries to work on other bloggers mind. Ignore her comments and she will die a natural death on this platform.

    • SO, YOU DON’T THE REASON THEY READ MUSHOTA’S BLOGS? SIMPLE ANSWER IS THEIR REASONING CAPACITY IS ON THE SAME LEVEL WITH MUSHOTA ADDITIONALLY, MALOFWA ABENGI TABAKWATA IFYAKUCHITA.

  18. @1 Mushota, certainly you are senile my cousin (forgive me for using this terminology, I tried to look for a lighter substitute but couldn’t find one).
There is disorientation and incoherent approach to issues by u my tribal cousin.
Learn to address the subject of the topic. I get irritated with someone who attempts to digress from responding to real issues at hand without apology.
What relevance is it between the statehouse news and your birth control theories?
Am sorry, I may sound to be too harsh with u, but u have to understand me that, I want things to be done or answered correctly.

    • Remind me who you are, why I should follow your rules and why things should happen the way you want?
You little toad crawl back to your hole!

      Thanks

    • ESPECIALLY THAT YOU ZAMBIANS ARE ALLERGIC TO HARD WORK. YOU WOULDN’T LIKE A MAN OF SATA WHO’S RESULTS-ORIENTED. YOU ARE STILL LOOKING FORWARD TO COUPONS. HEADED FOR TROUBLE WHEN THEY ARE CONSTRUCTING ROADS, RE-BUILDING THE RAIL LINE, MFEZ’s ETC? YOU WILL BURST OF JEALOUS YOU GUYZ.

  19. @ Mushota No.1
What type of a PhD are you persuing! Your kind of reasoning and analysis is not reminiscent of someone who is persuing studies at such a distinguished level! You are saying that the population of Zambia has ‘doubled from 9million to now apparently approx 15 million in just 15 years’. My friend this is total nonsense and a first year Demography student who has done DE111 and DE112 can not ignorantly reason like that!
For your information, despite Zambia having a young population, the annual rate of growth is quite stable around 3%! Moreover, there are various factors that affect the growth of population and notable among these are the rate of mortality, fertility and migration! These 3 variables are the main determinants of demographic dynamics! This is data chimbwi iwe!

  20. “I have no intention of turning zambia into a successful nation ” -that wud be a more accurate statement since all you do is create, districts, appoint or swear in officials, attend by election rallies and get fixated on the opposition.Nothing of substance goes on in ya govt and in ya head.

  21. Surely the president’s leadership style boggles the mind. How does he as a leader fail to mention Lubinda’s name as a matter of courtesy and diplomacy? What crime did Lubinda commit that makes the president so angry? Whatever it is Lubinda is a human being like all of us and should be treated as such.

  22. I like the way you move….UPND is singing…every day am suffering…shuffle your feet people…every day am suffering

  23. congrats to mr lungu on his promotion and to bad for given…the president is at liberty to appoint whoever he wants as long as he doesnt break the constitution……..as for the deputy minister i still feel this post should just be scraped one and for all

  24. Ndelolesha fye to what this ***** is doing..whatout time will surely catch up with you.Remember you will not be a president forever u fool

  25. I dont understand the UPND, they complain that sata is a tribalist by appointing too many bembas in his cabinet but when he appoints some UPND MPs from their party into his Government they are furious and expel them. You did not give the president MPs from your province, what the hell do you Sata to do.

  26. Some comments are not only trivial but reflect the deep psychological scars of those who post them. What do you gain by insulting the head of state who is the symbol of your nationhood?

  27. POLITICS IS NOT A GAME FOR UNDER FIVES. WHAT MOST PEOPLE HAVE FAILED TO SEE IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOVERNANCE AND POLITICS. HH AND DR MUMBA ARE BUSY WASTING TIME FIGHTING SATA WHILE PF IS CONSOLIDATING ITS PARTY. CONTINUE FIGHTING AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT IT WILL BE 2016 TIME FOR ELECTIONS. YOU HAVE ALREADY LOST 2 YEARS.

    • BAICE SANA BA OPPOSITION ABENA HH NA MUNZAKE NEVERS. BACILI BALEFISHA MUMATEBELA. YOU ARE RIGHT MY BROTHER. THEY ARE JUST BARKING ALLOVER THE PLACE LIKE REBID DOGS.

  28. Wina azalila, sata is not the first 1 to appoint those to serve in govt from the opposition.mapatizya should patiently wait for his turn, why re you against evrything ba sata will do.

  29. vicious cycle/circle who to blame? All are to blame Sata and Opposition. PF was barely in govt and opposition promised to make Zambia ungovernable. PF with 71 MP’s is short 9 MP’s (80 MP’s) for simple majority it needs in the house and at same time some quarters say PF govt is regional or tribal? If only PF MP’s are made ministers/deputy then it would be a complete “Kolwestan” govt and a recipe for total tribal division. The quandary, if Sata is to have an all inclusive cabinet/govt where does he get MP’s from others regions e.g. Southern/Central/Western/North-West the few PF MP’s from these regions (I. Wina, W. Simuusa, F. Shamenda, W. Kabimba, E. Chenda, S. Masebo) are full Cabinet Ministers. Sata trying to kill 2 birds with 1 stone have majority in parliament and penetrate…

  30. continued (#45)…penetrate other regions. Politics is a game of numbers and a dirty one at that! All political parties want those numbers if it was PF MP’s defecting trust me the opposition would have no problems with having by-election. Politicians are ALL liars and they don’t really care about the people otherwise they would be working together and not pledging to make country ungovernable or poaching opposition MP’s resulting in costly by-elections!

    • But Sata is using taxpayer’s money to buy these guys political careers. Corruption in its worst form!
      Only time will tell.

  31. MUSHOTA, IF YOU DON’T HAVE A GRAIN OF RESPECT FOR YOURSELF, PLEASE HAVE ONE FOR NICK AND STOP EMBARRASSING YOUR HUSBAND WITH YOUR IGNORANT VIEW. EVERYONE HERE APART FROM YOU KNOWS THAT A COUNTRY’S POPULATION DOESN’T NOT STOP IT FROM ACHIEVING GROWTH OR DEVELOPMENT. WE CAN HAVE A POPULATION OF 100,000,000 AND STILL HAVE DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH. WHAT REALLY MATTERS IS HOW WE USE OUR POPULATION EFFICIENTLY AND PRODUCT ENOUGH TO ACHIEVE THIS GROWTH. IF YOU DID YOUR RESEARCH YOU WOULD KNOW THAT ON AVERAGE WORLD POPULATIONS ARE INCREASING NOT DECLINING. GOVERNMENTS ARE FINDING WAYS TO USE THEIR RESOURCES IN MORE PRODUCTIVE WAYS AND YOU ARE HERE TALKING ABOUT FORCED ABORTIONS..PLZ MUSHOTA STICK TO YOUR LOW GRADE PHD AND DON’T INSULT PEOPLE WITH REAL PHD’S…

  32. Let me pose a couple of questions in hopes that the educated bloggers will educate me. Who fired Given Lubinda? Was the speaker on the NA in order to relegate Lubinda to the back bench without oficial notification or did the speaker fire Given?

    • let me answer you my friend; the speaker cannot fire a minister. its only the appointing authority (in this case, the president) who fired GL. National assembly was notified by State house about the changes and by the time GL was going into parliament that morning he had already received his letter of disappointment…thats why he went straight to the back bench.

    • You cant prove that, these are members of Parliament not from the streets. the law allows him to do that. Change the law.

  33. chi colour cho ci Satana,u think we re foolish mafi yobe we mbwa we.in your stinking brain you don’t know that you re turning this beautiful country into a laughing stock we cipuba iwe with your stupid advisers .Let me tell u ,u re being used by yo so called Mmembes ,Nchitoz to be a laughing stock we mbwa ya muntu.Hw can a ministry have 3 deputy ministaz sure Zambia with that money you re paying the greedy ministaz oh my God.Yo Dr wife tell u Docs nw regret regret voting for you .Bamakaka imwe.

  34. It has been reported that a total number of ministers is now past 70. Is that not madness? He promised a small efficient cabinet. What a lie! Vanity.

  35. The worse thing is the blind loyalty we give these politicians, Actions speak louder than worlds, your actions do not agree with you mouth.
i wonder how shallow he thinks of PF MPs not holding an executive portifolio?

  36. Sata and his minions have been undressed on BBC Focus on Africa as well as on Voice of America. Looks like the wheels have come off. The PF is now a Rogue Regime. Pathetic Foo.ls . Everytime they pick a weapon ; they choose a boomerang. Poor Mmembe and his buddy Nchito have been described as corrupt! Their credibility is no more. How NICE! Never thought I would live to see this day. Ka FTJ must be smilling in his huge coffin! How the mighty have been reduced to rouble!

  37. Even if you did, Mr. President, you would NOT. We, the people, would not allow you. Keep in mind sir, that you don’t own the country. Rather, you only preside over national matters. Your real of control begin and end there.

  38. People, why do you bother yourselves with this man called Mushota? He always manages to derail the topic. At most he is humorous, with his imaginary role as a female with a boyfriend called Nick. He does make interesting points sometimes, but it is definitely not worth getting upset about. At best, enjoy the joke, at worst, just laugh it off.

  39. Intention or no intention it’s irrelevant. What is important are the actions. In so far actions speak clear: Rule by decree, Actions contrary to the Constitutional provisions, Abdication of the Rule of Law, Bias application of the law, Nepotism ………

  40. UPND U CAN DECEIVE YO SELVES . U HAVE NO CONSCIENCE. U ARE REALLY HURTING .HOWEUER,IT IS U THAT ARE SURFERING MORE. U CAN’T MATCH SATA THAT’S Y U HAVE RESOLTED TO ALL SORTS OF SATANIC MANNERS THINKING THAT IT WILL TAKE U ANYWHERE.SHAME ON U LOOSERS!

  41. AS U INSULT THE WAY U DO THE REAL MAD PIPO ARE SEEN.DE WAY U HAVE BEHAVED FROM MMD ERA SHOWS U ARE DEVIL INCANETS ,BLOOD SACKERS BUT YO DAYS ARE NUMBERED. WEN OTHERS ARE BEING PEACEFUL DON’T THINK THAT ARE COWARDS LIKE U. 1 DAY U’L CRY.DEMAGOGUES!

  42. family planning is very important if zambia is to develop, people are fathering like dogs have children you can raise properly and feed……..

  43. Mushota, in a way I know where you’re coming from but unfortunate it’s not as easy as you put it, especially the fact that their are no benefits paid by our Zambian government to support the citizens that have no jobs or are struggling to look after their families, like they do in the developed countries,so what I’m trying to say is, it’s rather difficult to tell someone how many kids they can have when you don’t support them in any way, you mentioned China only allowing one child per family, the truth is, it’s on condition and the condition is, you have one child only the Chinese government will give free education, free hospital, priority housing etc and if you have a second child you loose some of the benefits on the second child like free education or free medical support etc, so…

  44. End of the day families do have a choice to either just have one or more and if you look at the Chinese case, Zambia is no way near the level of development and we in Zambia have plenty of good farming land or we need is proper organisation and hard graft( work) we can feed china and some of our African neighbours and that’s a fact.

  45. Iwe chi psyhcho mata, you actions are typical of a full trying to turn Zambia into a one party state. Any way you are already sell by date, no place for you at embassy park and that young man will officially take over girl friend Christine
