    • Yes, if only this former President was clean. Where are his children? What is this Carter Foundation Centre up to insisting that he is clean against facts which they know?

    • he never exbited such respectable statesmanship when he was president, all he did was,run government like a mafia organisation. Stealing and masketeering were the hallmark of nyamasoya’s daily bread.
He even hated his predecessor a man that a gave him a lifeline.

  1. This man doe not inspire confidence
He is clearly being investigated his children are corrupt
and he married a ‘grand child’
How anyone finds such a man inspiring is beyond me

    Thanks

    • Mushota,
It is NOT an issue of inspiring. But if you have been following Zambian politics (which I am sure you have been), over the last two decades, Zambia has not produced a leader/diplomat of international repute. RB is the first one and mind you, it is NOT the Zambian govt sending him but foreigners! Isn’t that weird?
Therefore, in spite of his shortcomings, Iet’s give him the necessary support he needs. After all, nobody is perfect! 🙂

    • How many black women in Europe are married to ‘grandpas’ just to stay in Europe, if you don’t know the age of your dude maybe you are one of them dating a grandpa, let me tell you one thing love is something you can’t control so please mind your own business with your nick and PhD.spare me from your madness too much attention seeking isn’t good, things are happening in your country come up with wise solutions, they are people who loves your comments but sometimes you are just beyond stupidity. One day all these countries we are can send us back and then? You don’t know what tomorrow brings so don’t mess up in advance@mushota

    • Mushota wenda na Ba mote 1972 = 41 am dripping wet here appetising for u alas u r being miss used . Meet at Glasgow calabash

    • am begining to suspect mushota is a guy man… maybe a shemale without breast. unbelievably ranting like that!, like a guy man who was `compressed` in africa and now find his freedom to be oiled behind in europe.

    • Mushota, 1972 is old!!! I married 23 year old girl when I was 27. By 33 I had 2 kids. A 41 year may not give you any children!!!!!!

  2. thieves uniting…
birds of the same fearthers flocking together…
no matter what this banda thing tries, in terms of image building, that he never achieved when mmd brought those ‘image builders’ from the states, his immunity is going.
AND then, only then will we know how crooked this f*** @m***k sto;e from our treasury.

  3. R.B-A humane, far-sighted statesman in his lifetime, he became a legend and a folk hero after losing the previous elections. Now he is a superb politician, he has persuaded the people around the world with reasoned word and thoughtful deed to look to him for leadership!

  4. Election observation does not make one a statesman, this is the job for NGO’s,so all NGO observers are statesmen and women is it?Any i***** can observe elections, there are no skills or talent required

    • To head one like the Carter Centre requires you to be a Statesman.. I know it hurts you to see RB in the limelight but just learn to live with it.

  5. IN STEAD OF SAYING RUBBISH ABOUT THE MAN,LET US JUST PRAY THAT HE CONCLUDES SOME GOOD WORK. HE IS REPRESENTING THE WHOLE NATION OF ZAMBIA NOT HIM SELF AS AN INDIVIDUAL.

    • If your under5 chap is so brainy why is it that the chap does not debate issues and why has the chap not won in areas where it matters not just in Monze and Mazabuka…

  6. The only two presidents in Zambia that have graciously left state house are from the east, KK and RB (and yes KK is from the east malawi to be specific dont feed me with you Chinsali bull) What does this say about us easterner lol. Just thought i should throw in a ka tribal shani shani, imwe tu Kolwe murderers from bemba land dont even start with me. Happy weekend ya’ll one Zambia one nation!! one love.

    • Shameless Kwiindi, Kolwe angala paMusambo anaasha, other tribes would have made it political for you cousin!

    • iwe mambala, ma zambians eikapo kolwe muyako pamu pando mu state house lomba waona atonga angolila lyonse, i think ti labile nabo atonga ayasu kuti tiba punziche vomu fumyapo Sata.
Ati chifukwa cho kulya akolwe kwanu, you dont even know how run a government mungo jumpa jumpa nama appointment and reshuffling just like the same young monkeys that have filed your stomach, ala basop bati. kumaso nga fulufute mambala iwe.
going for a drink now with one of your bemba sisters hope she wont embarrass me with stealing pub glasses, tamuleka ichipe chabafye, pakafye mwibe .

  7. Whethwr RB was from the east, west, north or south,he was dull and wreckless and has nothing to do with his origins. He was simply a bad president who shouldn’t have been

  8. RB,a wiseman from the east,a superb statesman,a skilled diplomat of int’l repute and a visionary who steered Zed’s economy to gr8t heights.RB make us proud there in kenya with your objective insight and ethical approach. We’re very proud of you Papa unlike the fossil we’ve got at plot 1.

  9. WHEN ONE FOLLOWS THROUGH CNN, BBC, AL JAZEERA TV CHANNELS OR THE INTERNET THE KENYAN POLITICS AND THE CORRUPTION WHICH IS INHERENT IN THAT NATION, ONE BEGINS TO APPRECIATE WHY RB HAS BEEN A DARLING IN KENYA. 95% OF THE CANDIDATES WOULD REQUIRE AMSTERDAM TO HELP THEM SUBMIT THEIR ELECTION PAPERS AS MICHAEL WILL DISQUALIFY THEM FOR CORRUPTION.

AS FAR AS CORRUPTION IS CONCERNED, KENYA IS THE SCUM OF THE EARTH. HOW DO KENYANS LOOK TO RB TO CERTIFY THEIR ELECTIONS WHEN RB COULD HAVE BEEN REJECTED BY HIS OWN PEOPLE EVEN IF HE HAD BEEN IN OFFICE ONLY FOR 3 WEEKS. THANK GOD HE LOST AFTER 3 YEARS.

    • Geez, your hollier than thou attitude is intoxicating.I guess zambians are so clean thats why we have the ACC? You’re scum yourself.

  10. RB WILL MONITOR ELECTIONS AND CERTIFY THEM FREE AND FAIR LIKE HE DID IN THE DRC.

MICHAEL SHOULD HAVE BEEN REQUESTED TO DO THE VETTING PROCESS OF PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES.

AT THE END OF THE DAY THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN NO ELECTIONS FOR RB TO MONITOR IN KENYA.

  11. RB HAS BEEN MONITORING ELECTIONS IN AFRICA FOR ALL MOST 2 YEARS!

WHICH ELECTIONS HAS BEEN CERTIFIED UNFAIR SINCE THEN BY RB’S TEAM? OR IS IT JUST SOME COSMETIC EXERCISE?

  12. I have difficulties to understand the appointment of RB to lead the 50 man observer in Kenya general elections by the Carter Center.
This is a man who had refused to concede deaft. It had to take alot counselling, including some embassies who advised him that he was going to plunge the country into chaos.
What free and fair elections can he talk about? when himself believe in rigging.
The man is just hoodwinking the Kenyans and other observer missions.

  13. i still dont know what the fuss about RB is ? The man obviously is not a winner. He was beaten in an election by an old man in opposition when he had the govt machinery on his side. He is currently the shortest serving president in Zambias history. in the 3 years he was in office he never made any meaningful change to be remembered about. He simply was gliding on LPMs framework and he clearly didnt understand how to go about it either thats why the people of Zambia rejected him after just 3 years.

    • So you mean a sitting government should never lose elections because it is in control of ‘government machinery’! Did you want Banda to rig the elections? Is this what you are planning with Sata? No wonder governance has deteriorated under this regime. You are indeed putting government machinery at work. You have turned the Police into a PF militia, wasting money on a bloated Executive , staffing of the foreign service with your illiterate relatives etc! Honestly in which part of your anatomy is your brain located if you have any at all?

  14. That a prphet is not wthout honor in his own country is biblical truth.

While some at home continue to vilify the name of RB, unbiased world seeks to benefit from his wisdom and diplomacy.

I personally commend RB for having maintained a climate of political inclusiveness and tolerance started by his predecessor – State Counsel Levy Patrick Mwanawasa and for the buoyant economic stability and growth – in real terms which the bulk of most Sub-Sahara nations could only dream of as they battled with the ripple effects of the recent global economic melt down.

The PF continue to take the nation to a higher level under the pragmatic Michael Chilufya Sata – His Excellency – because a firm foundation had been laid. Thanks to RB and his leadership.

Long live RB. Long live Sata. Long…

  15. IF IT WERE BRITAIN OR USA THAT HAD INVITED THIS OLD CROOK I WOULD B WORRIED .NOW THAT IT IS KENYA I CAN’T .A COUNTRY OF CORRUPT PEOPLE WHO CAN’T SEE ANYTHING WRONG IN THIS FOSSIL WAS DOING WEN IN STATE HOUSE. EMBACILES WANT 2 TURN HIM INTO AN ANGEL

  16. @22 it is not Kenya that has invited this unpopular man, it is the carter center observer mission. An organisation set up by former US president, jimmy Carter.

  17. His invitations started with overseas Universities, you do not read man! And he is still going strong. Wait and see. RB come on more invitations RB banee!

  18. God bless you bwana RB for the good work and good name you’re giving Zambia in these kenya elections. We’re very proud of your leading role and recognition so just shame the PF kaponyas by flying our flag + respectability high.
