    • Ala bane umupila nipachibansa, not muma newspaper na muma tavern…mwamona nomba twasebana! Ilya iyaba Lesotho yali kwati filya twale eba kubwaice ati WECHIKULU PAKAICE !!!!

    • Zambia is relatively a good team, but they, together with their fans get giddy and overly excited after a single win that they forget to stay focused on practicing for the next game.

Keep your eye on the prize!!

    • I SAID IT. F***************************************************************************
      SURPRISE US.

  1. No change there! Same old story. Next news please. I am going to support England in Rio de Janeiro f- whatever will be will be!

  2. Some of us reserved our comments last week as we know that Lesotho is a non entity and are merely wiping boys of the group….like I always say and I say it AGAIN – this current crop of players, the coach and the FAZ empty suits are not WORTHY to go to Brazil. Missing chances like that really laughable.
    Wake up people!!

    • Robin relax….I thought winning Lesotho was a foregone conclusion. Didn’t know that it pushed mighty Chipolopolo to cloud nine. I think this was a very good result for Zambia because I thought that they would lose. Well done boys; you saved face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Ba Robin
Lesotho is a very small pub team, a NON ENTITY that was easy 6 points (home and away) in bag which Zambia LAMENTABLY FAILED to collect… yes I was ashamed of my gullible countrymen jubilating over that win.
The game that mattered most was the Sudanese game…Zambia is an average team coached by an average manager and overseen by your corrupt great king and his empty suits in Football House. You must be mad to think that this team can win in Ghana.
      Wake up!!

    • @ Jay Jay, you are a judas number 2 after Sata, ubufi iwe, liar!! Last week, you were almost kicking my balls because I suggested that Mweene should give chance to Munyao. And that Zambia should play with 1 defender… Today Renard made a historical team of playing with 1 defender = Hichani Himonde.
      – Kondwani is midfielder
      – Chasamba pa 3 is Midfielder
      – Mayuka ku 2, striker
Amazing so many goal scorers…. Bamukolwe nga bafula ubushiku tabucha bwangu.

  3. Last time I said that this team is useless and can’t score and you people called me names. Now who is the joke on now. You guys must be jokers, with such a blunt strike force you think you can represent Africa?

Losers, let Ghana represent us and do us pround.

Maybe we should have just let Nkana play Sudan than this team which was struggling to beat Division 1 teams.

Where is Mushota to pour more scorn on this? For once I will support her. Zambia football is just useless now. We should have just sent Nkana to represent us.

  4. The boyz dd all they could its not just our day. Like the west Afrikans would say “our gods were on holiday”. Zambian fans mwiponta pantu imwe you do not appreciate. Boys we are in contetion until the last game. Dont lose heart. Go Zambia goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  5. To me, this confirms Ghana and Sudan as better teams than Chipolopolo, coz Zambia has 11 points which include 3 FREE points awarded to us by FIFA whereas Ghana has 9 that they accrued from their brilliant play. Sudan beat us 2-0 in Sudan and have forced a draw here, so they too are a better side. What is also given is that Ghana will definitely beat Lesotho tomorrow and leap to 12 points – making our Ghana outing the biggest nightmare of all times for Zambia! Clearly, with a coach like Renard the writing is on the wall…

    • Let us support our team until the september when they take on Ghana. They did us proud when they pulled off an impossible task to win the Africa cup of nations, beating Ivory Coast. While we are dissaponted, Zambia never lost a game in the recent Africa Cup of Nations and the two teams that qualified in their group went on to fight it off in the final. People are forgetting that we have already beaten Ghana in this competition. We can still go and beat Ghana in Ghana. We probabaly need a striker but we still have a team and coach

    • You are forgetting that Zambia beat Ghana in your analysis. Hadn’t Sudan been deducted any points, Zambia would be having the same points as Ghana today. having beaten Ghana already surely they Ghana cannot be better than Zambia.

    • Plz Amayama failing to win a single match as the holders of the CAF cup was really disappointing and I have always known Zambia as a very good team, or at least they brag.

    • @Amayama
Don’t forget that you gave the Black Stars a hostile reception at Levy and they have not forgotten….ask yourself this; can your overrated average team handle the selfsame atmosphere in Ghana?
      Wake up!!

  6. Well done LT.
    Brief and to the point.
    Nothing more to report

Perhaps Mweene was not ready yet to play, but then it appears we are back to our drawing ways with our boys not able to score goals.
Did we observe a moment of silence to honour the fan who was killed or murdered by police?

  7. Maybe we can use the money to build a school in chibolya. Beating Ghana at home will be tough but it can be done.

  8. Ala bane mwiponta the guys have put us on the Map some of u can not even bring something gud to yo family but u only bring shame elo ninshi…….

  9. zambia is poorly organised team with poor snd casual approach to matters national interest. its a national problem that spans into politics and governance

  10. I think HH should have attended the match again to inspire our boys since Sata is never at the games. How do you expect Zambia to win or score goals.KK , Chiluba and RB used to attend matches and we always won , even by a small margin

  11. Right, its not a terrible result, obviously below our national expectation. Who said Sudan were a right-off, they aren’t… If the team can gather strength and unite, we can still do something in Ghana, its not impossible.

    • We never did anything in Gabon before, let alone winning the cup final…But we did. We v still got to maintain self belief…it all starts at the conception stage. We can’t give up before the battle is over. Jacob Mulenga will score in Ghana, he has been consistent, and is on form. We ll wait and see.

  12. When we win you praise us, you should also praise us when we lose or draw! We put in all our efforts but sometimes these things happen in football and you should just encourage and support us! Who really want to lose a game anyway? Some of you cannot even kick a ball but busy condemning us, Brazil, Argentina and many other countries have lost important games before and that is the name of sports losing and winning or and drawing after all! I’m a very disappointed player.

    • Form wanes and peaks, like everything in life..Nothing remains on the same level. Even the seasons change and fluctuate..its the same with football. If you understand the game, you would know that alot of it is in the mind, our players need inspiration, belief and encouragement for them to restore their focus. Mayuka is not finished, thats a very unfair comment. You fail to analyse the situation. When Mayuka was the god in 2012, you need to observe his background, he was on top of his game in the Swiss league, and before that in Israel he was on a roll. But, at the moment he has gone through a big change, new league where he is fighting for his place, new culture-a difficult culture at times for us from Azania/Zambia…But our players are young with a future including Mayuka.

    • We dont have the luxury of hand holding players with their emotions at such a crucial stage in the qualifiers for them to perform wel. If Mayuka is not mentally prepared to handle the challenge, then he should be dropped and pave way for others that are mentally prepared. He has to man up. He’s not a 13 year old kid who’s emotions need nurturing

    • We dont have the luxury of hand holding players emoions at such a crucial stage in the competition for them to peform. If Mayuka is not mentally prepared, then he should be dropped and pave way for others that are mentally prepared. He has to man up. He’s not a 13 year old kid who’s emotions need nurturing

    • Well, I suppose you are right in a way. Though I still look at the human side of things… and humans will always have emotions, especially young talented footballers. They are still developing as humans, and FAZ must have programmes off-pitch for mental development, the human aspect to keep our players focused… or else we ll just keep disposing of players each time they are out of form. Mayuka has done it before, and he can still do it. We need him for the long term.

    • But yes i do agree with your point, maybe he must be dropped at this stage in the qualifiers until he sorts himself out…Zambia will do it in Ghana, especially if Ghana win tomorrow, that may go in our favour, as Ghana will relax and probably write us off, and we tend to do well when written off. Exciting.

  13. ZAMBIAN FOOTBALL FANS wake up remove and the wool over your eyes, forget about Brazil, teams that are worthy of such theatres, start plaining for those tournaments 4 years in advance something that your self serving corrupt empty suits at Football House can NEVER achieve.
Like I always ask – what do you intend to do when you get to Brazil when you can’t win matches that matter? Is your goal to embarrass us? Let the Black Stars go there.
    WAKE UP people!!

  14. Zambia national team is over rated its just an average team.

instead of Removing subsdies on fuel and mealie mea the pathetic failures (pf) govt were supposed to withdraw sponsorship from football and channel the money other benefiting avenue.

  15. while Zambian players and fans where making a lot of noise especially Mbesuma, Sundan methodically plotted Zambia’s down fall. First they gave Ghana 3 points and 3 goals, secondly they have made sure Zambia does not get the 3 points. “poetic justice indeed”

    • Let’s call it Sudan-justice. They have their 3 points back, and taught Zed a good lesson. Do not bank on points you did not actually play for. As for the Brazil dream, it is becoming a nightmare. When will FAZ wake up?

    • Not entirely useless BUT you are spot on about them representing the continent as they are not WORTHY especially with the incompetent empty suits at Football House!!

  16. Well done the Chipolopolo boys. Iam ever proud of u and thanks for that very exciting game but it wasn’t easy boys. I won’t give up on u til final whistle in Ghana.Today u got a point after all.Yesterday we where at 10 today we at 11 out of ur sweat boys. When u fall. I will fall boys. When u celebrate i join u in the celebrations and when u cry, I cry out loud with u

    • The fact that Zambia had a draw today, does not mean the end of the world in football, actually the truth is Zambia needs to win against Ghana, nonetheless the challenge is on the technical bench to find a winning formula against Ghana. On that material date, Zambia national team should soccer first within 20 minute if we are to carry the Day.

  17. TODAY’S RESULT IS WATER UNDER THE BRIDGE – HISTORY- GONE. THE WAY FORWARD IS WE SHOULD STRIVE FOR A GAME PLAN TO WIN AT HOME, KEEP FULL CONCENTRATION ESPECIALLY SOON AFTER SCORING. I ALSO THINK TIME IS UP FOR JOSEPH MUSONDA, KATONGO , MBESUMA AND KENNEDY MWEENE. MAYUKA HAS A GOOD UNDERSTANDING WITH KALABA AND HIMONDE WITH SUNZU. A TOUGH ASK IN GHANA BUT ANY RESULT IS POSSIBLE IN SOCCER-JUST PLAY FOR IT.

    • Lesotho to do what? The Black Stars are not your average team the win their away matches..that’s where you FAIL to see.
      Wake up!!

    • And you call yourselves AFCON 2012 Champions with a manager who is unable to read a game really laughable, relying on non entities like Lesotho….FACT is ZAMBIA is NOT WORTHY to represent the continent.

    • Not long ago Scotland ranked 74th beat Croatia ranked 4th in their home ground, do not rule out Zambia beating Ghana or Ghana losing to Lesotho, the name of the game is FOOTBALL!

    • HR is not technically astute even today’s game reinforces my point that’s a FACT Scotland have an excellent and experienced manager in name of Gordon Strachan who has the ability to read matches unlike the PE teacher employed by the empty suits at Football House who has outlived his usefulness and FRANKLY out of his depth.

    • It is not about who is coaching Zambia, rather it’s about using the chance that is there for our country to qualify to the world cup, I am putting all ‘the eggs in one basket’, Zambia has a chance, so we need to beat Ghana at home, it does not matter who the coach is, but we need a positive mentality among the players to win in Kumasi.

    • Our strikers should go beyond Rodger Milla’s status if we want beat Ghana at home, that is from the historical perspective, our strikers should stand beyond what Zambia has achieved in the past.

  18. Country Men and Women we serve the most respected God.God does not like those who suppress and oppress the poor.
You expected to win when poor two souls were killed yesterday and you expected to win?
In as far as there in injustice in this country the lord God almighty who hears will never entertain such barbaric killing of unarmed people.

  19. Only a foool can conlude that Ghana has gone through. I know they are winning 2moro,but will beat them in Ghana. They are beatable. Let them call all their stars will beat them

    • Let Zambia win so that she has a chance of representing Africa at the World Cup 2014, maybe there we may draw all the matches and just win the World Cup; what with an astute PE coach and versatile players…….kikikikikikikiki. For now well done Sudan you have indeed redeemed yourselves.

  20. Forget about Brazil .Our National team lack fighting spirit and secondly none of their skills march that of Ghana either. Just imagine thriving on draws for all tournament qualifications. Zambia always loose the grip and chances to nonentities at last minute even with massive support at their door step. It has always been bruising battles even with smaller teams. My advice is dismantle this none performing team right now and start looking for quality players through out Zambia and you will get them for sure. For how long are we going to wait for good results from the national team. Time to build and prepare for future football invents should start now as new stadias are currently under construction as well. No excuses for failures

    • In life always take chances, if the probability is one over a million, go for it, there is a chance, but If it is Zero then stay away, Zambia’s situation is one over three, that is strong a chance which both management and the players could utilise to reach the World Cup.

  21. This is football big up to those that are standing by the chipopolo in times like this one ..nangu tu wine nangu tuluse we zambians viva chipolopolo..

  22. We’ll always support our team through thick and thin. Some bloggers here act as if we’ve lost the match.Gentlemen anything can happen 2morrow and even if ghana won we still have that match in kumasi which will be more than a final. I urge you fellow Zambians don’t give up hope…we still in the race.

  23. kevin-prince boateng(AC Milan) Michael Essien (Real madrid) Andre and Jordan Ayew (Olympic Maesseile) have all decided to play in Kumasi in september. is there still a chance?

  24. i’m ghanaian and i must say i admire the chipolopolo in the way they disposed the so called giants to win the afcon, but whatever happens tomorow against lesotho today the match against zambia in kumasi is w@t every ghanaian is waiting for.to beat us back to back in such a painfull fation this match no longer a jst a normal match even if we beat lesotho, the match is now personal. May the gud team win…

    • That’s what Zambia is capable of doing, beating you back to back, though we have to get our strikers read for that task, nonetheless Zambia is good from the time Chitula G to Kalusha Bwalya and the present day Jacob Mulenga.

  25. @31, you a useless. How many pipo are killed in nigeria by boko haram yet nigeria wins? Even in sudan. Leave the Almight God out of your demonic spiritual way of thinking. Its the fake prayers that were conducted to extore money from the unsuspecting public by these money grabbing pastors that cost us this game. Ati overnite prayers ku bethel!! Zambia is a nation of jokers coz we always glorify human beings than God, why not ve prayers in silence without puplicity? Those tuma pastors wanted to make a name for themselves not for the Almighty.

    • Boko haram or whatever its called is a terrorist organiastion. God cannot punish Nigeria for the atrocities committed by a terrorist organisation, instead he pacifies the people by making their team win. Also, there is a difference between killing a criminal and killing a man who has occupied a piece of land illegally. why not kill all the street vendors then? They’ve occupied prime city land illegally.

  26. @mwepo haw many times do u want david to kill goliath? Uve beaten us twice one @ afcon n’ another @ ur home grounds and after messin up u still wan to beat us again in kumasi seriously?ok keep on dreamin…thats exactly w@ the nigerians did sometime ago and we brought them down to earth..!! Seriously beatin us in kumasi.!!?? The ivorians who are our neighbours will not even dream of such a tin..ok8sep we shall see all hell will break loose….but dont worry we wont mistreat u as u did to us we are a Peacefull andGod fearin nation ok dont worry…

  27. The ivorians who are our neighbours will not even dream of such a tin..ok8sep we shall see all hell will break loose….but dont worry we wont mistreat u as u did to us we are a Peacefull andGod fearin nation ok dont worry…not even brazil can prevent us from qualifying have,is not just by chance that we are brazilians of africa…”woku apem a apem beba” “if u kill a thousand a thousand shall come in their wake”…..

  28. All is not lost if anything it’s actually good we’re going to Ghana wanting only a win, personally believe we can do it, but the players need to all believe and trust each other and their Manager, good luck Ba zed and God bless, we’ll see u in Brazil 2014 🙂

  29. please leave

Please leave the Almighty God out of football. This is blasphemous. Who said God is partial and would have wanted to see Sudan lose? God simply gave us a draw in his fairness. Let us pray about winning souls, national peace, the economy etc and thereafter we shall experience the favour of God for this country(so called Christian nation). I get troubled when i see a lot of soccer fans in such drunken stupors and engaging in illicit activities, i.e womanising, insults, reckless driving, public nuinsance, God must forbid. And with such we expect to win? Some people wanting to pray only because of football. Let us pray without ceasing in truth and spirit. What a shame!

  30. Brazil ranked 22 in the world. Can you believe it?They are no longer small teams in football.Look at Cape verd with a small population doing fine.Lets have nurseries where we can start taping talent whilst they are still young otherwise we are doomed.
