Nkana thrashed FAZ Division One North side Nkwiza 5-0 in a practice match at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe on Thursday afternoon.
Talented striker Reynold “Sate Sate” Kampamba registered a hat-trick while Jimmy Ndhlovu and Chileshe Chibwe scored the other goals.
The Nkana bench is depending on friendlies to keep the team, which has been inactive for more than seven weeks, in shape.
Kalampa last played a competitive match on July 3, beating Power Dynamos 2-0 in the big Kitwe derby.
Since this FAZ Super Division Week 14 tie in Wusakile, Nkana have never played a league match as they have contributed five players to the Zambia squad which has been “busy” since June.
