A group of Zimbabwean fans called Friends of the Warriors are
organising six buses to ferry supporters to Zambia for Saturday’s
return leg of the 2014 CHAN qualifier set for Levy Mwanawasa Stadium
in Ndola.

Friends of the Warriors secretary-general Arnold Whande has told Zimbabwe daily that the that his group was negotiating with the government and a private company to get six buses.

“As the supporters we want to do our part, we want to be there in
numbers. We are negotiating and we should be able to get at least six
buses,” said Whande.

“The plan is to depart on Friday and we are looking at getting fans
in from different parts of the country.

“The brass band and our cheerleaders will be part of the travelling
team and we want to go there and make an impression and help the team
achieve its goal of qualifying to Chan. The fixture is still very much
alive and this is the time the Warriors need us more than ever.”

Zambia and Zimbabwe played out to a scoreless stalemate in the first
leg in Harare on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe coach Ian Gorowa reinforced his squad with the
inclusion of Bruce Kangwa and Kuda Mahachi as he seeks a winning
formula.

  2. Welcome to the battle front brothers. Zim will be humiliated this time around with a huge goal margin. Go Chipolopolo. @ Nostradamus Isn’t nice to talk sport instead of politics you sound great without any political word coming out of you. Thats the way to go we are all Zambians.

    • He could be a Zimbabwean. May be the father is a/was a Zambian. This is not surprising at all. Were we not told a few years ago that Charles Musonda’s son was gearing himself to play for Belgium?
