Jordan beat Zambia

Share

Jordan has beaten Zambia in a friendly match played on Doha this evening.

The Jordanians beat Zambia 1-0 to hand coach Patrice Beaumelle his second straight defeat in charge.

The two sides were 0-0 going into the break.

However, Jordan secured the game’s lone goal from an unlikely source when Zambia defender Bronson Chama scored own goal in the 77th minute.

Meanwhile, Zambia heads back home on Thursday ahead of next week’s friendly against Egypt on November 14 in Cairo.

    • Ubupuba ba zambia this is the same as Manchester United the best team in europe losing to nkwazi of zambia

      Tulimakula how.many bembas played?

    • Patrice is best coach so far!
Remember that was not the Zambian team, its a CECAFA team. I wish Jordan faced their friends they played with at World Cup Under 20 in Canada:
      – Kola
      – Mayuka
      – Fwayo
      – Clifford
      – Stoppila
      – William Njovu
      – Sebastian Mwansa (captain)… this player really has annoyed me… he was the best midfielder.

    • @Nostradamus
That guy (Sebastian Mwansa) was really a good midfielder. I remember having watched them at 2007 U20 WC. He really impressed me. I have never heard of him recently ever since he joined TP Mazambians.

For yesterdays match it was just a fate of the defender. Surely how will somebody nechifukushi just score your own goal. But seriously we need reinforcements to the team, not experiments. Noway the coach should start with certain strikers that are not even famous. Have heard sate-sate is a competitive striker.

    • jo,is it true that your mom slept with a horse to give birth to you?no wonder everything you post here makes irritated.*****

  1. Jesus Christ was baptized in the river Jordan…..
maybe our beau….. coach will follow suit and at the end of the coming two centuries, bring us glory.
i was of the view that after renard, faz would sit down and seriously think over our declining football fortunes with a view of improving but alas, was i so wrong.
it seems it will always be ‘back to the drawing table’ excuses all over again.
whoever draws on that board should be very tired by now.

    • Bad to who? It is good news to those boys from Kitwe, at-least they eat some couscous for first time in their life.

    • In fact I am grad abaice baishibako ku Qatar…. ku mangalande. You are the ones losing, those boys won, so many stories mu ma Chibuku bars ..” bakahamba ku Doha kusuma, ku Qatar mudala, the capital of Jordan, where Jesus resurrected”

    • Dear Bloggers it is not always wining a game that determines how good it but how you perform against any team. Today is not FIFA calender day so Zambia featured a second class team coz most of the players could not be released for this game. It was even mentioned that the full sward will only be available for the Egypt tournament. I personally still value this exposure as an individual for the younger players. VIVA CHIPOLOPOLO

    • Currently & frankly speaking, Zambia is in a CRITICAL shortage of strikers. Mayuka is now a ball boy at FC Sochaux in France. Jacob Mulenga?. Chamanga & Chris are now tourists in China. Mbesuma ? The where about of Singuluma & Sakuwaha still remains to be unknown.Kalaba, Sunzu and Sinkala were all kidnapped by and in the hands of the M23 rebels in Congo DR. Kampamba only scores for Nkana and feels shy to score for Chipolopolo.

  2. Aweh there was no real zambian player in the game all are from the small boys academy, Jordan can’t beat the zambia that won the Africa cup… that’s how I look at football period don’t argue

    • THIS DOES NO HOLD WATER BANE. WE SHOULD NOT TAKE THE GAMES FOR JOKES BY FEATURING THE AMATEURS TO KEEP ON EMBARASSING OUR OWN COUNTRY AND THIS SHOWS THAT WE ARE NOT SERIOUSY.BY THE END OF THE DAY , WE ARE GOING TO LOSE OUR RANKING MU FIFA

  3. Never bank on a soccer fan for he changes colour every second!
Good luck chipolopolo boys hope you are learning something from these games.

    • AND SO YOU THINK NIGERIA IS THE BEST TEAM IN AFRICA? WHEN ARE GOING TO BE LIKE NIGERIA SO THAT OTHER COUNTRIES CAN COMMENT ABOUT ZAMBIA?

  4. AFTER A FLUKE AFRICAN CUP WIN, ZAMBIA WILL NEVER WIN ANOTHER TROPHY IN A MILLION YEARS- THE CHAPS HAVE GONE BIGHEADED AND HAVE NO SYSTEM OF PLAY.

    • You are a prophet of doom, my brother. Please will stop ukusabaila. In fact you will be in hell gnasping your teeth by the time Zambia wins the second trophy.

    • You are a prophet of doom, my brother. Please will you stop ukusabaila??? In fact you will be in hell gnasping your teeth by the time Zambia wins the second trophy.

    • Chief , we won it fair and square dispatching the likes of Senegal , Ghana and Ivory Coast along the way ! Zambia has always been somewhere up there in terms of African football ! We are NOT a small footballing nation ! Any team which meets us know they are in for a game ( win or lose ) .
Anyway , who needs people like you to support Zambia when there are so many like me ! GO CHIPOLOPOLOOOOOO !

    • Even before 2012, the whole world including you bob simakai lunda, said the same, BUT you were proved to be wrong.

  5. Scrutiny of th national team wil tell U we R not tht far off, th only challenge is th strike force, or is it th lack off. Soon afta Afcon’12 our strikers switchd off eg Mayuka (kwati ni bwanga mwa bofeshe ku Afcon’12.)

To be honest, if not for this problem we would hav not only defended our title in S.A but also qualified for th WC in Brazil.

Dear Patrice, js luk for strikers n all ur troubles will b history. U r blessd wit stable goalies, reliable defenders and one of th best attackin midfields.

Cut th goal shy strikers ASAP.

    • He is always chewing gum, Bronson Chama. Otherwise he is good lad. Not bad guys be realistic. that was a mistake!

  6. They’ve tried because Nigeria lost by 2-1 congrats Chipolopolo go go forward but lets work on mistakes anyway too bad for Bronson.

  7. If we keep on saying “keep tuning up boys” we jes fooling ourselves. the best we can do is start pushing for a new coach. pipo were busy celebrating the 2-0 loss to brazil, saying we’ve tried when Patrice showed us that he is incapable of reading da game. this evident by crude changes he made. Damn…Festus included in that squad…for wat!! we gat talent in Zed lets give chance to sharp strikers…and forget about “tu ma” bribes. damn….

  8. Lets give the new coach time. He is building a youthful team. Mwe bena Zambia nimwebo kamutasha kali kwitobo. We should be patient. Too much talking in Zambia thats the reason coaches are running away. We always want to win.

  9. U c,the name zambia is a big name,a country.so those who go in dis name shud eva b seriours, dis gam of soccer if nt managed well will put zambia on no world recognitin if dey cotinue pe4min badly,so dot eva say we did’t use big prayers, dis prayers u owes refa 2 ar bigheded jst afa afcon of 2012,so dot owes rely on dem,wat 4.sam soca fans.

  10. why don`t we just employ a qualified coach. patrice is not a coach he was a friend to renar.zambians workup.there are classic coaches out there no one can cheat us nowdays,we are able 2 watch games around the world.and u can say patrice is a coach roughable indeed kikikikikikikikiki.zambia!

  11. Zambia needs a good striking force.. They need sharp strikers who can at least score many goals. We have a better team and the coach looks to be in good shape. Jacob mulenga is an example of a good striker, let’s just pull out our socks and give mother Zambia a happy soccer time!!

  12. Since no opposing player shot a ball past our golie but our own defender, I feel we are doing our level best, keep it up boys, mistakes are human.

  13. agree with you Goal shy strikers…….the guy should build on the confidence of our so called strikers.Anay way ,the whole notion is preety good but let the Egypt encounter be taken seriously.can the Coach tell us ,where is the pressure is? @ home or away?

  14. Save the Boys!! Watched the game in the stadium in Qatar. Our Boys were way superb than Jordan team. Was not just their day. The boys are young and very good. More of these friendly will give them more confidence. Keep up Chipolopolo.
