Zambian coach Kelvin Kaindu says it was not easy for his Zimbabwean club Highlanders to win the US$ 130,000 first prize in the 2013 Mbada Diamonds Cup on Saturday.
Kaindu led Highlanders to winning their first silverware in six years with a 3-0 victory over How Mine in the final.
In a post-match interview, the ex-Zanaco star thanked God for the victory.
“It was not easy at all, it’s been a long time since Highlanders got any silverware and we thank God,it was him who led us today,” Kaindu said.
“It’s a special day for us Highlanders and we want to build from this and come back even stronger,” he said.
Kaindu added:”This victory was good for our players and they deserved it.”
Meanwhile, Highlanders missed out on winning the league title last week just on inferior goal difference.
League champions Dynamos, Highlanders and Harare City were all tied on 54 points on the final day of the Zimbabwean Premier League.
That’s low self-esteem, that Kaindu himself is not a good coach, but God is. There is no way God can only like Highlanders and not Platinum or Amazulu. Kaindu learn to praise yourself, need to sell yourself and team.
In all good things, the glory belongs to the Almighty God!
Solola Bye!

In a christian nation learn to glorify God in watever gain ! “GLORY BE TO GOD” Kaindu is very right. The problem with some pipo is that they are Phd icons ‘pull him/her down’ phd.
