Power Dynamos have moved swiftly to deny that Nchanga Rangers coach Fighton Simukonda is on their Christmas wish list for the 2014 Faz Super Division season.
Sources familiar with the development at Arthur Davies in Kitwe have said coach Tennant Chilumba’s position is not under threat.
“Fighton? We are all surprised we don’t know where this story is coming from,” the official said.
“Because Power wanted him before Tennant came and now has closed that chapter.
“His name has never been discussed in the recent meetings.”
Chilumba is currently halfway through his one year deal with Power after joining them in June.
Chilumba saved Power from the brink, turning around the clubs fortunes in their last 14 games to finish 8th after flirting with relegation prior to that.
