Heavily Armed Police deployed at Radio Mano to block GBM

Zambia Police in Riot gear on Airport Road during the laying of the foundation stone by PResident Sata at the Kenneth Kaunda International airport

Over 50 armed policemen were deployed in Kasama this morning in what residents believe was an attempt to block Former Defence Minister, Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba from featuring on Radio Mano at 10am.GBM was scheduled to feature on the live program to explain development projects in the constituency.

The Former Defence Minister said he is in his constituency on a retreat reflecting on his future and does not wish to generate any contention .

Mwamba who is Patriotic Front (PF) Kasama Central Member of Parliament said that he had taken time off to reflect on his past and the future.

“I am here with my family. I want to go and check on my land where I want to start farming. I am with my wife, grandchildren and my other relatives. We are having fun, I like infinkubala, I am reflecting on my past and future,” said Mwamba.

He wondered why people wanted to make his resignation an issue when he did it on moral grounds.

GBM said that the heavy presence of armed Police officers in Kasama was creating tension among the people and has since asked government to allow him enjoy his peace after leaving government.

[pullquote]I resigned on my own because I had to defend my family, there is no need to panic[/pullquote]

He said that the heavy presence of police in Kasama had created an impression that there was confusion and tension when there was nothing to panic about.Mr Mwamba was speaking ahead of the arrival of two ministers Miles Sampa and Jean Kapata dispatched to meet with local party officials.

Mwamba said that there was no reason why government should send armed police officers in riot gear as if there was tension or anarchy in Kasama adding that he was enjoying his peace with his family.

“The people are worried about the heavy presence of police in Kasama and they fear it could be because of my presence but I think there is no need to panic. I am getting fillers that some people think I would incite people to violence but for what benefit would I be doing that? I cannot do that and I am above such politics. I resigned on my own because I had to defend my family,” said Mwamba.

The Kasama parliamentarian said that there was no need for the authorities to get agitated by his resignation from government advising that government should be happy that he had decided to resign because his family was special than political appointments.

He said that the action he took was out of principle adding that mid this year President Michael Sata sent him to Northern Province to discuss the impasse between Bashilubemba and government over the enthronement of Paramount Chief Chitimukulu and that the Head of State was aware of what was discussed. Mwamba said that the continued silence and disparaging remarks against the Chitimukulu by government had annoyed the people of Kasama and Northern Province as a whole hence his decision to quit from government.

“They have told me that they are not happy with the decision by government to degazette Chief Mwamba as the Chitimukulu. This matter has been discussed at length with the President. But you see people here are asking me as their MP what is happening. There is no answer. I cannot tell them anything because the President has said nothing over the issues and my fear is that when I come back in 2016 to ask for votes they will reject me because it would have meant that I have failed them,” said Mwamba.

Meanwhile a Kasama resident said this is a sad day for Zambia.

‘GBM is MP for Kasama Central and today, he can be prevented from speaking to the electorates. Parliament has a duty to ensure good laws are made for Zambia.People in Kasama are very annoyed over this development. Sata does not know that he is decampaigning himself by appearing this desparate,’the resident said

    • How childish of Sata is that? People now detest him, this is his only term as president. All the false promises etc….. You are out Sata take note!!!! power has gone to your big head big time.

    • Lt enough of feeding us with this drivel on a minister who can’t string 2 sentences together in English

You are mildly making this gbm popular with this desperate coverage .

What a joke of a country. Anyone aroused by this man’s coverage is delusional so is tge coverage.

A morally poor country has been dragged in far deeper mad than was necessary
It doesn’t take my ACCA, CIMA MSc Bsc MBA to analyse this as well

      Give it up

      Thanks

    • @Zambiano

If GBM makes Sata, have sleepless nights to the extent of risking another heart attack, then he is not useless like you think. Sata is seriously worried that the Northern and Luapula votes will no be divided massively.
What ever he does from now on will simply strengthen UPND ‘s position as the only credible party to restore all the dignity ,freedom and peace Zambia is losing each second that passes.
It also fair to note the irony with which GBM used the Chitimukulu issue to champion his political agenda when he demonised HH for attempting to pay homage to Chitimukulu and supported the enthronement of Mwamba not long ago. All this proves how a sincere man HH is in matters pertaining to governance.

Bashilubemba should vote UPND to get rid of Sata and his madness.

    • Folks ,

Now is the time to start thinking ahead. Lets forget the tribal stupidity peddled by Mmembe and his clique via his past paper and begin to rally behind UPND.

UPND has 6 provinces under its belt right now and more people in other provinces are fast realising that and joining the cause to de-campaign this st.up.i.d government of Sata and his madmen. If Bashilubemba can also join in, then come 2016 Zambia will easily manage to get rid of PF’s mad government and restore economic prosperity, peace, low cost of living, rule of law, fair justice, high standard of education, high standard of medical care , sound agricultural policies and above all freedom.
GBM should use his business acumen to find a way to punish these mad PF stooges.
HH and UPND are the only way forward for…

    • Brilliant message Wanzelu dude, if people could abandon this tribalistic nonsense which actually happens to be the only thing they talk about when dissing HH, and try and think objectively, then we might have a chance of salvaging our country. Mealie meal prices are high and people are complaining about the cost of living. wat more do chaps like Zambiano need to see that this govt does not know it’s a.ss from its feet??

    • Brilliant message Wanzelu dude, if people could abandon this tribalistic nonsense which actually happens to be the only thing they talk about when speaking against HH, and try and think objectively, then we might have a chance of salvaging our country. Mealie meal prices are high and people are complaining about the cost of living. wat more do chaps like Zambiano need to see that this govt does not know it’s head from its feet?? Do people really think that once voted in, HH would be insane enough to prove people right by appointing tongas all over the place? He is more astute than that. Sata is dull and uneducated that is why practising rampant nepotism and tribalism is no problem for him.

    • SATA IF GBM DIES , WE KNOW ITS YOU BEHIND THE KILLING. WE KNOW HOW YOU OPERATE.

IF HE DIES THEN WE WILL SPONSOR A COUP TO HOUND YOU AND YOUR FAMILY OUT OF STATE HOUSE AND TAKE YOU MAXIMUM PRISON.

IGNORE THIS MESSAGE AT YOUR PERIL.

    • KABIMBA ABOUT TO BE ELIMINATED THROUGH SICKNESS TO PAVE WAY FOR SATA’S SON MULENGA TO TAKE OVER THE PF PRESIDENCY. DONT SAY I DID NOT WARN YOU.

    • if Sata has be `fair` for once, can he please charge GBM and his followers with treason,, the same thing he did in barotseland

  1. this is as expected. now that gbm is out of govt he will experience what his colleagues in the opposition are going through. even sata after 2016 will go through the same. politicians never learn

  2. Waiting for statement from Dishonourable Mwansa Kapeya, Minister of Misinformation and Lies as to why the Police, a law enforcement agency, should deploy armed police to protect a radio station. Where they tipped off that armed robber were planning a robbery? Why should a public service be engaged in stopping an MP from entering a radio station. Is there a crime or any public disorder likely to happen if GB went ahead?

    • I concur.I am totally opposed to show of force at the slightest provocation or suspicion thereof.Government has overreacted to involve police on a purely party squabble. You are making a hero of an individual you could have easily dealt with politically or diplomatically. What’s more with using armed police at every turn, is the danger that people may get used to seeing armed men and may one day dare the men in uniform with disastrous repercussions.Use police sparingly for state law and order only, like at the palace and Linyungandambo infestations.

  3. Ata ! I hate how Fat Albert has started grabbing headlines.Pf leave this joker alone your giving him attention will just end making him to appear more wiser than he is(am not talking about his business abilities though)

  4. GBM can not win presidency but he will destroy PF chances. Lets by adult diapers. The diarrhoea will be un imaginable in PF. Dust to dust. Ashes to ashes. MHSRIP.

  5. I dio ts stop including the President in everything. Why can’t u find out from the police command of kasama why they did that?l for one in this morden world i have no respect for any chief tho i come from there.GBM,BOLA PANSHI.WISAMWA SANA.

  6. sata’s father is from southern province and his ka nina from tanzania

leave bembas alone wenama yampanga iwe sata, we bembas we respect each other, in riches or in poverty.

    • @live wire

Have contracted Sata’s confusion disease? The writing is on the wall. See how you have moved from supporting Sata to divulging information that some of us have known for years, that Sata is pure Tanzanian period. Both his parents and uncles and Aunties hail from TZ. His parents came to Zambia as economic migrants in the 40s when sata just a young man.
To put the record straight, having a Tonga father or coming from TZ is not an issue at all. What is an issue is how he is threatening and disrespecting all our traditional institutions and they way he busy stealing and damaging the peace and tranquility that once existed in our lovely Zambia.Under Sata there is no more fair justice,no rule of law,no freedom, but only more poverty ,starvation, intimidation, and high cost of…

  7. These are situations where soldiers decide they are tired of all this nonsense and decide that maybe they would like to stay in State House for a bit as well while they promise fresh elections and since GBM was their boss, they would decide that maybe he would be the best to stand while Sata and ka Kaseba are chilling mu prison. And how come ever smiley Kaseba cannot appeal to her i.diot of a husband to reinstate ama nurses? does it mean she cannot see how people are suffering coz of no experienced nurses?

  8. Sheeeee!it seems GBM has always have a hiden agenda.lf he resigned on principles or moral ground he could have already started working quietely but he regretes his descions made on impulse.l persive his intention was to anger Sata.GBM easy!

  9. Personally I am very happy with the happenings currently going on in Bembaland especially what is GBM is experiencing. This is the same man who foolishly sent ZAF fighter jets to terrorise and intimidate Lozis in Barotseland and how ironic of him to cry foul about the deployment of armed police to his doorsteps. Now he is about to reap the whirlwind!
The same applies to bemba and PF cadres on this blog who rejoiced and insulted defenceless lozis who were being rounded up indiscriminately, tortured, locked up and had trumped-up charges of treason slapped on them.
This GBM/ Sata stand-off will be vicious and protracted because it is bemba against bemba. In the meantime the lozis are on respite while watching the scenario from the terraces. GBM, we warned you to leave lozis alone.

    • London Eye,
      Right on the nails’ head.
This is the same GBM as defense minister sent his troops to Barotseland saying….”Lozis will be sorted out severely” as I recall GBM’s echoing threats of violence and intimidation against the people of Barotseland.
Now today it’s HIM, GBM yapping about peace?
Shocking hypocrisy indeed. GBM sent military hardware to Barotseland, why is he crying?
GBM before you remove a needle in your neighbors eye, remember to first and foremost, pluck out the log in your own eye.
      Barotseland is nothing but Litunga.

  10. GBM IS STILL IN THE EMPLOY OF THE PARTY. HE HAS NOT RESIGNED.

IF THE RULES OF THE EMPLOYMENT OR CLUB LIKE UPND, PF, NAREP ETC STIPULATE THAT A MEMBER OR EMPLOYEE SHOULD SEEK CLEARANCE FROM HIS EMPLOYERS TO APPEAR FOR RADIO OR TV INTERVIEWS, THEN I DON’T SEE WHY ANYONE ELSE SHOULD NOT COMPLY.

WHAT LT IS NOT SHARING WITH THE YOUNG UNEMPLOYED BLOGGERS ON THIS SITE IS WHETHER ANYONE TRIED TO CONTRAVENE CLUB RULES….

    • But at one time Sata, shouted at his MPs and Ministers, why they are not going out to people who voted them and explain the development or not replying to HH. with that statement from the president, it meant, one every one was given clearance to talk at will and two, every one in PF is a spokes person. in short GMB as MP has already a clearance from the president

    • Hey chap, don’t take us for fools. An MP does not need any permission to talk to his people. Its only that we dealing with cheap chaps like you and Sata, who cant even appreciate that GBM bought Sata and his wife ISUZU double cabs. THIS COUPLE was very poor 2 years ago but today, they can afford to throw GBM away. Power is sweet and it corrupts absolutely. As you go up, dont forget the people who put the staircase for you, lest they decide to remove the same. no soft landing.

  11. I regret uku vota uyu muntu called Satan anyway days are numbered and the clock is ticking Satana you are out no bunga kushefye apanono ninshi yakwana 100pin.

Am so so disappointed though bonse balinganafye ubushilu.

  12. Whether u insult Sata or not what the police did was very commanderble for that situation is capable of breaching the peace. GBM must wait for somedays then he can begin to address pipo thru that radio.lt was 4 his own gud too.

  13. Mr. Godfrey Bwalya Mwamba if you are reading this please avoid the press in whatever form. Appreciatively it is your right to engage with the press but for the moment this will not help you in anyway. Please just enjoy your holiday with your family and stop commenting as you already have informed the nation reasons behind leaving government

  14. The stupid actions by the PF and it’s president against bashi Lubemba and now GBM, will snowball into something they won’t handle.

  15. Personally I am very happy with the happenings currently going on in Bembaland especially what the famous GBM is experiencing. This is the same man who excitedly and foo.lishly sent ZAF fighter jets to intimidate and terrorize defenceless Lozis. The lozis were subsequently rounded-up, tortured, locked up and had trumped-up charges of treason slapped on them. Now, how can GBM cry foul about the deployment of armed police at his doorsteps? How ironic! Surely soon he will reap his whirlwind.
There are bemba and PF cadres who got excited about the inhuman treatment of lozis and poured scorn and insults on them, now they are busy condemning Sata.
Already this GBM/Sata stand-off is being mishandled and it is going to be rough and protracted especially that it is bemba vs bemba. Wait and see!

    • @London eye

      I totally agree with you.
This just proves that the tribal nonsense Mmembe tries to use against UPND is all rubbish. Tribal politics has only existed since PF came to power and the only party that practises tribalism is PF. Unfortunately its backfiring big time because Zambians are above tribal politics in this era except Mmembe and his PF minions of course. So if tribal politics works then why is PF ripping it self apart through Bemba on Bemba fights.
All I care about right now is the pace with which GBM will destroy PF in Northen and Luapula provinces. GBM please accelerate the process, people are tired of PF’s monkey business.
For now only UPND and HH will bring back the Zambia we are losing under these PF f.o.o.l.s.
GBM be careful, Sata has hatched a plan to kill…

    • @The london eye
Bo london eye… ki niti!!.. it will be interesting to see GBM being charged with treason also ,,, the same thing he did ku bo sinyinda

    • london eye u are a good analyze,yr gbm victimized offrs and soldiers that they want to coup sata and some where retired on national interest bcoz he wanted to pliz his boss that he gud intelligency, let him tell us what he has done for the defence that he can be proud off o the tribal organ he wanted to bring in the defence by victizing a section of other tribes.

  16. Ba GBM naimwe bola panshi you can not be a president and kwena ba Pf balwala diarrhoea bfwayefye amatebela Winta abindike, balufyanya presidential material G.Lubinda, guys just go and support abena Chipimo we shall move together,Kabimba, Scott na Sata balyumana akapi now we will wait for them u battle filed just like we waited for MMD when we supported Satana

  17. Then incorporeal beings like @dudalove are suggesting what their master(Lucifa) would want to happen to our nation. Are there merits for the soldiers to do the unspeakable?Stop blowing issues out of proportions u gud for nothing.DEMON !

    • Hello, how much are you worth? i have $300 dollars for you and other PF cadres on this platform. Contact me and i can give something better than these people are paying you.

  18. Imagine the tax dollars government is paying to deploy 50+ cops to Kasama for something that basically started off as a family dispute. This manpower could have been better used to reduce crime and deter drink driving on our roads during this festive season. If these selfsame leaders like Sata and his greedy deadwood cabinet are unable to sort issues in their own backyard, in all honestly how on a earth can they even contemplate tackling more complex issues in Western Province.

We are paying a heavy price for electing this man….we can do better than this.

  19. We Are Just Yapping,Yapping, Yapping….
And Yet We Have Not Been Told About Party Rules As Regards Addressing Press Conferences.

As Member Of A Political Party, One Needs Clearance From The Party Before Addressing A Meeting Or Holding A Press Conference.

    It Is That Straight Forward.
For Now I Would Advise GBM To Quietly Either Resign From The Party Or Take A Vacation Until Next Year.

    • You refer to recent happening at one of cabinet meetings, where Sata, shouted at his MPs and Ministers, why they are not going out to people who voted them and explain the development or not replying to HH. with that statement from the president, it meant, one every one was given clearance to talk at will and two, every one in PF is a spokes person. in short GMB as MP has already a clearance from the president

  20. The specie is finally transforming itself into a full Alien having been hibernating for the last century! Peaceful people of Kasama be Alert and takecare!

    • @cindy
peace in bemba is now threatened to a breaking point… this is not good!! barotseland is also in flames,, trabalism and dictatorship wont help Zambia… Sata must respect traditional leaders, must respect all Zambians,, he must also know that he is not a god

    • @ndobo @Cindy

Lets not beat about the bush about this impasse. The only solution to this madness about to set fire to Lubemba land is to boot out Sata and his fellow mad men simple as.

    • @Wanzelu
I hear you my brother and i feel your pain,,, the same every good standing Zambian is feeling… setting fire on lubemba is no solution, innocent people will be hurt.. but setting fire on Sata and his hyeana crew is a better solution..

Sata is a president at a wrong time.. he should have been president after KK.. I will tell you now as we end 2013.. Sata will be the worst president in Zambian history

    • @Ndobo and Wanzelu,
For some reason I’ve had a soft spot for the President but on My Kashuu Town?!!!!! That Spot has vanished a Billion Light Years away!

    • But who has read and followed your STUPID PF procedures eith? SataN himself doesnt abide by them?
SataN appointed Chikwelete as Lusaka District Chairman at Chawama – no elections were held per party rules! Did you say SataN had not followed rules? No you IDI.OT never raised such issues!!
SataN even broke the Electrol Law when he went campaigning in Malambo and Vubwi – did you raise issues of breach of Law? Of course you dunder.head didnt! So why now raise such stupid issues with GBM when SataN doesnt follow procedures or even more importantly, LAWS?

    • @LUAPULA PREMIER

Its shocking how you expect the financially comfortable ministers like GBM to follow the rules when Sata the leader breaks not only party rules but all the laws enshrined in the Zambian constitution. Sata should lead by example.

I can see your hypocrisy clearly now. It is ok for Sata to break party rules and all laws in Zambia because he gives you guys brown envelops? No man, thats not right. Sata is just another kembo who should not be above the law.

What happened in Zambia in 2011 was a case of giving power to a confused man to
to bring confusion in Zambia.Very soon @Luapula, you be his victim when you fail do him a favour in return for the brown envelops he gives you.

Only HH and UPND can sort out this mess Sata and PF are busy creating up down the…

    • @LUAPULA PREMIER
If your boss demeans you in public, in public is where you demean your boss. This is basic supervisory management procedure which Mr. Sata hasn’t grasped. Chindika umwana nao ngakuchindike. Bakateka, ba Sata, because he has certain presidential powers, he has to abuse those powers. Why don’t people talk about Sata’s abuse of power, his involvement in affairs that doesn’t concern him? I say GBM was civil the way he resigned, Sata doesn’t deserve a dignified goodbye. He is uncouth.

  21. He was doing the same to the opposition MPs where they directed for one to seek permission from a local dc. Waona chapita mawa…………

  22. But who has read and followed your STUPID PF procedures eith? SataN himself doesnt abide by them?
SataN appointed Chikwelete as Lusaka District Chairman at Chawama – no elections were held per party rules! Did you say SataN had not followed rules? No you IDI.OT never raised such issues!!

  23. Mr president, do you really think you’ll always have the police. Even to a defenceless chief you decide to send the police. What is this? Your friend,RB found and left them, they didn’t save him from leaving power. Yours will be terrible sir. What wrong has my paramount chief done. Or maybe you’ve become too powerful this time. I’m praying for 2016, you won’t have my vote sir.

  24. PF is a party of criminals, joining hands to plunder national resources. GBM is on record to say that he funded PF and it is his time to get back what he spent and more.
Shameless *****s. Sata is getting 15% from all Road Contracts. Willie Nsanda is the medium and it is open secret amongst the Chinese, South Africans and Europeans who are bagging all big contracts.

    • You now make it look as though GBM never got GRZ contracts…no wonder we’re calling him principled as we are too forgetful. .. they are all the same selfish greedy politicans.
      Wake up! !

    • @protege

You are spot on! That is one the reasons why GBM has left the pack to clean himself because he knows that when UPND comes to power heads will roll. They will account for each every penny they they are steali.
Imagine from $2billion in foreign reserves to a debt of over $3 billion in just two years! How pathetic!
      PF come 2016 kuya bebele.
ONLY UPND AND HH WILL SORT OUT THIS MESS PF ARE CREATING UP DOWN THE COUNTRY.
People can not take it any more. Sata is fighting chiefdoms, creating hunger and starvation, breaching our constitution, restricting our freedoms, stifling the media, destroying our health care, education and agricultural system,s and above all stealing millions via RDA at state house. What a shame!
VOTE UPND 2016 if you want real meaningful change to happen in…

  26. Batu ba hesu, luna nisi pulumuki mwa State House. Sitongwani tuwe!

This is what happens when you give the hallowed national responsibility of leading the country to an illiterate and nja tuwe (dog).

Sata-n has no clue that in a democratic society a person has the right of thought, opinion and expression.

Does this Sata-n have advisors? Don’t you know you advisors that the free flow of information, ideas and opinions are human rights and essential to the functioning of our democratic order?

Every Zambian has the right to hold views without restriction. Who is Sata-n to stop people from expressing themselves?

How are will going to exercise the right to freedom of expression with such interferences? GBM like any Zambian is free to seek, receive and impart information…

    • GBM not long ago said that, ” Lozis will be sorted out severely” upon sending his troops to Barotseland. The same GBM did not give the people of Barotseland freedom he’s now crying for.
In fact, GBM sent fighter jets to Barotseland and cause terror to the point peaceful people.
GBM ki hypocrite, a rich sikuba.

  27. This ka Teacher in Zambezi called Chidata Kambanji is busy politicking on his face book campaigning against PF in preference for MMD.Its unacceptable for a civil servant to openly engage in partisan politics. As PF in the province,we should appeal to PS Seyuba to have this chap disciplined with immediate effect. When he is fired then will be free to fulfill his political agenda.

  28. Is Northern Province up for grabs? Do the latest events mean the demise of PF in the region or not? Is GBM trying to establish his political base there as he has already endeared himself with the Royals there? HH’s infamous attempt to visit Chitimukulu’s palace recently was catastrophic. Does UPND stand a chance in the region that has so far proved too hostile to outsiders? How about Nevers Mumba’s MMD? How much of a foothold can they gain here? Is Northern Province up for grabs??

    • And if I may add: what do you make of FDD’s Edith Nawakwi? Is she a force to reckon with here or a disillusioned pig farmer?

  29. Mr GBM please stop exchanging words in the media people wont know the difference between you and them. Keep cool so that chibakalipe over.

  30. The chronic drought of able leadership in Zambia has struck gutless levels where even the worst stinking skanks like GBM pass for leadership. We’re in trouble. And it’s always the Northerners who present such garbage for leadership, imagine they were a country of their own, it will be a circus, daily!

    • An inability to think outside the box is what beguiles the Northerners. Uppermost in their minds is regional superiority as opposed to national superiority. As such, they have been prone to fall for charismatic i.d.i.o.t.s as their flag carriers. Mr. Frederick Chiluba was a total disgrace and so is the incumbent.

It is unthinkable that Northerners can vote for one outside of their domain, because in their view, that would be tantamount to forsaking their region. And because they vote as a block, their vote in a general election is significant. Mr. Mwanawasa did win in 2001, not because he won, but only because Mr. Chiluba had to have him as his successor and so rigged the election in his favour. And may not the same be said or Mr. Banda’s win in 2008?

    • Different countries have different criteria for choosing their leaders. In Zambia, a charter box is a crowd-puller and usually carries the day. It’s usually the colour, and not the depth and breadth of what comes out of one’s mouth that we go for. The more comical a politician is, the more likely he will be voted as president. Few, if any, know that there is something called “brain” that is usually critical to one’s success as a leader.

Unfortunately, it is usually the empty calabashes that make the most noise and thus attract our attention. We have not yet, as a nation, demonstrated the capacity to discern the wisdom of an aspiring candidate. It’s usually one’s flair and not his fortitude that steals the show and for which we fly!

  31. @ Hamuntu

Comrade this is the problem with some us who have never worked and followed some code of conduct.

A meeting with your constituents differs from meeting the entire province or speaking on a provincial FM without clearance. Its indiscipline.
It will be like a branch chairman calling for the resignation of a constituency treasurer!

  32. New party led by GBM soon to be formed. It will result in somePF,MMD and UPND members of parliament rallying behind GBM.Watch space

    • you think UPND and MMD mps are grade sevens like gbm to follow him? just because he lost the power struggle to kamimbya to succeed sata and then hatched a scapegoat scheme to hoodwink the gullible 1diots like you then you think he is great, ney

  33. GBM must not be underestimated. Take the landslide that the PF had in the Northern Province and give it to the MMD and RB would still be president!

  34. If Scott, Kawimbe and Masebo are graduates of Sata political academy, Sata is graduate of Kaunda academy. Sata is the only political leader whom KK has publicly praised for doing a good job. Sata may do to GBM what KK did to Kapwepwe.

  35. I am anxiously waiting for learned, well researched, unbiased and civilized comment by Hon. Kabimba (SC) as it is expected of the Minister of Justice in a democratic inclusive society who in so far, has been conspicuous by his silence.
On the other hand, let me be ready for usual arrogant and patronizing justifications of loose interpretations of fundamental rights, Constitutional provisions and meaning of so much wanted and expected Democracy.

  36. Declaring Psalm 91 on GBM and family, opposition parties and their families and Zambia. God bless Zambia.

  37. Mushota, my dear don’t be short, sighted, for someone with the accolades you claim to have it makes sad reading that you can sink so low, Bill gates has no papers like you, but you know Him and use his products to carry out your work, GBM can employ you and feed your entire family with surplus to share. In the end your ACCA, CIMA BSc and MBA mean nothing to people like him, because without them he did 100times more than you could do ever in your life. @Ndobo, what has resigning got to do with treason??? What grade are you???
