Oswald Kalamba hoping for Zambia call-up

Share

DR Congo based Zambia defender Oswald Kalamba says he is still waiting for a chance to play for Chipolopolo.

The Don Bosco right back said he has always been ready to turn out for
Zambia.

Kalamba said God’s time is the best.

“I am waiting for God’s time to play for the national team. I cannot force matters,” the ex-Green Buffaloes defender said.

“I am ready to play for the national, I just need a chance,” Kalamba said.

“Even in Congo people respect me they say I am a good player. I remember in 2010, the DR Congo national team coach named me in his squad but he was told that I was Zambian,” he added.

Kalamba played for Lubumbashi club Lupopo FC before joining Don Bosco in January 2013.
