Nkana face Mamelodi Sundowns on Thursday in an international friendly game in Kitwe.
Sundowns will host Nkana at Arthur Davies Stadium where the South Africa side has set up its training base during the club’s 10-day camp in Zambia.
The match will be Nkana’s first official practice match during their 2014 pre-season training ahead of February’s CAF Champions League and Charity Shield engagements.
Nkana coach Masauso Mwale said they are delighted to have secured the friendly against Sundowns who are currently taking part in a four club tournament in Ndola involving Zesco United, Power Dynamos and DR Congo side Bon Bosco.
“We are going to see areas where we need to improve and assess where we are in terms of preparations,” Mwale said.
Meanwhile, Nkana are also scheduled to face Don Bosco in their second friendly game on January 20 at Nkana Stadium.
