FAZ Super League top scorer and Nkana striker Ronald “Sate Sate” Kampamba will compete against Kondwani Mtonga and Bronson Chama for the 2013 Zambian Football of The Year Award.
The 2013 FAZ/MTN Football Awards Gala will take place on February 12 at Moba Hotel in Kitwe- where Nkana will finally be crowned 2013 league champions.
FAZ announced on Monday that Kampamba, who scored 18 league goals last season, has been nominated for the top award along side Zesco midfielder Mtonga and Red Arrows and Zambia defender Chama.
Nkana coach Masauso Mwale has been nominated for the Coach of the Year Award along side Zesco United’s Tenant Chembo and Nchanga Rangers trainer Fighton Simukonda.
Defender Billy Mwanza (Nkana) is eyeing the Most Disciplined Player Award together with Shadreck Malambo (Arrows) and Julius Situmbeko (Power Dynamos).
The Young Player of the Year Award will be contested for by Bruce Musakanya (Arrows), Malambo and Situmbeko.
Footballer of the year = Kondwani Mutonga
Diciplined: Billy Mwanza- need back in Chipolopolo (That Situmbeko with the Kenya issue!?)
Young player: Musakanya
Coach= None of those nominated, but Tenant Chilumba or Chintu Kampamba.
