Chipolopolo in K32m AFCON budget

Government has approved a K32 million Africa Cup budget for Chipolopolo.

Zambia is among 15 teams heading to Equatorial Guinea for the Africa Cup which runs from 17 Janaury – 9 February.

Sports Minister Chishimba Kambwili said he was confident Honour Janza’s side will excel at the AFCON.

“Government has approved a K32 million Africa Cup budget for the national soccer team,” Kambwili said on Thursday.

FAZ made the budget proposal for Chipolopolo which was submitted to the Ministry of Sports.

  2. Fun how our priorities are when the majority of districts health services in Zambia run on less than K3m budget annually.

  3. ZMK32M is too little please consider more money for the champions we cant afford to underpay them, more especially that KALUSHA is being targeted as sports minister while kambwili defence
