Ballot papers printing completed

Share

Printing of ballot papers for the January 20 presidential elections has been completed.

ZANIS reports that Ren-Form Sales Director Jean-Pierre Du Sart confirmed that the printing company finished printing the ballot papers this afternoon.

This means that the ballot papers will now have to go through the process OF stitching, guilotening, packaging and palletising in the next four days.

Mr Du Sart said the ballot papers will be ready for dispatch to the airport by Wednesday this week.

“We are just asking for space at the airport and as soon as we are given that, we can start moving the ballots by Wednesday when everything will have been finished,” he said.

The ballots papers will be flown to the Lusaka this week on Saturday.

    • In acting the Constitution,
      Stopping nepotism, Stopping corruption,
      Promoting One Zambia One nation,
      Creating real jobs,
      Increasing govt revenue collection,
      Reducing our national debt,
      Stoping anarchy & violence,
Restoring Zambian pride. This is what HH is promising. Lungu what have you got?

    • What is the minister of home affairs Mr Simbyakula doing with the ballot boxes and papers in South Africa?
The home affairs minister is a PF official who should not be in contact with the ballot boxes because he is interfering in the electoral process. This should be condemned with the contempt it deserves.
PF is desperate to rig elections, if not, what is Hon Simbyakula the minister of home affairs and PF cadre doing in South Africa with the ballot papers? The credibility of this by PF is a shame and sham!
16 days left till PF is democratically elected out off power, no matter how much these criminals and hooligans conversed by confusion and violence, want to rig.
The visionless Edgar Lungu is suicide to be a president. He’s a visionless drunkard according to himself.
      The Skeleton…

  1. It seems HH has lost hope of winning why is asking Hon. Lungu to sign a contract with people. Had HH not made too many promises in comparison with our limited money may be he might have won. Zambia has no money to meet all promise from the mouth of President HH. He should learn to be honest in order to reach Plot 1.

  2. HH is so smart no wonder he he is so rich and successful.

From lies about constitution, borosteland, chitimukulu, sata’s illness, their presidential conference, political violence, now EL’s health, their campaign money from muslims Boko haram, is it the love of the country why people will vote for PF or just being typical African or the equivalent of anti progress which lead to assassination of Martin Luther?

  3. What Security measures are put in place when allowing foreign companies to print Government sensitive products. In other countries such tasks require security clearances even for locals who work on them.

  4. Hope PF didn’t print some other ballot papers in Zimbabwe. Other political parties should have been sleeping on top of those papers, you never know, Zambia is unpredictable, lawless state.

  5. 50 yrs after independence we can’t print a basic document and we claim we have made strides? Zambia needs better and we hope this is the last time we are printing ballot papers abroad.
