Voting in a new party will create a dislocation of government programmes-Chitala

Mbita Chitala
Dr Mbita Chitala

Veteran politicians Mbita Chitala and Sebastian Kopulande have endorsed the candidature of Patriotic Front (PF) presidential hopeful Edgar Lungu ahead of this months’ elections.

Featuring on a QFM Radio programme dubbed ‘political and economic stability during the transition period’ monitored in Lusaka yesterday, Dr Chitala who served in different portfolios in the MMD government said Mr Lungu is the only qualified individual capable of carrying on the PF developmental agenda.

Dr Chitala who among the portfolios also served as Zambia’s Ambassador to Libya and former deputy minister of Finance said Mr Lungu will effectively carry the PF mantle forward because he has an immense knowledge and experience in the running of national affairs.

He said voting a new party in power will create a dislocation of government programmes which the PF has massively developed during their three years tenure in office.

Dr Chitala said opposition political parties should have just allowed Mr Lungu to go unopposed but did not do so because they do not have the interest of the Zambian people at heart.

And Mr Kopulande who is also a renowned economist said Zambia has recorded rapid economic growth during the PF regime adding that Mr lungu is a s a selfless leader who is seasoned to further expand the economic affairs of the nation.

He said government has spent over K1.2 billion to organize the forth-coming presidential elections which he terms as a waste of resources as it translates into excess expenditure.

“The colossal sum of money to be spent during this election period was not budgeted for because death is not something that you can plan for, so all the money to be used is just a waste of resources, instead the opposition should have allowed Edgar Lungu to continue with developmental programmes unopposed”, he said.

Mr Kopulande who also served in the MMD government as an Advisor to President Fredrick Chiluba said more money will be wasted if a new government is voted into power because no opposition has the required number of Members of Parliament which is 75, further stating that a new government will waste money forming government by recalling and appointing people in various positions.

Mr Kopulande said PF should be voted for continuity because foreign reserves have progressed and the economy has tremendously grown further stating that Mr Lungu is qualified to ensure that Zambia attains higher economic growth.

He said change is irrelevant because government is not in crisis and that was why Mr Lungu has declared that he wants to carry on the vision of the late President Michael Sata.

Zambia goes to the polls this month on January 20 following the death of Mr Sata in October last year.

Eleven Presidential candidates are participating in the elections.

    • Aba ba mumbwe yabanyokola njala over!!!

All a new president has to do is dissolve Parliament & call for General elections so that we can kick out PF forever!!
The presido will then most likely have a majority in Parliament!!

    • LT please use proper English designations – ati Veteran Politicians?? Proper term is Veteran TURNCOATS!!! Ask anyone who was at UNZA during their time!

    • Ba Chitala,
How much have you been paid to utter your sentiments?
You shud hae been more vocal when people were requesting the PF to enact the constitution.
No short cuts now that we have come so far. Expensive or not we are going ahead.
Did you even dare to protest when by elections were being effected?

    • 1). PF has 81 MPs + 25 supportive opposition MPs serving as representatives of the75% of Zambia. They have the number to effectively represent Zambia and meet the 2/3 threshold or quorum required to pass legislative bills in the August house.

2). The UPND has 25 MPs with MPs from MMD and independent MPs that are backing them who give UPND a 37 legislative vote in the August house far below the quorum to pass any bill. Their MPs make up 85% representatives of Southern province constituency and not the 75% of nation.

3). The 2015 budget has already been passed making it impossible to follow through HH’s ridiculous promises of free education,, free healthcare, loan for every marketeer and entrepreneur, increased salaries for the Public service, deliver new hospitals &…

    • Creating real jobs, improving the education system, lowering the cost of living, supporting farmers, providing cheaper healthcare, building BETTER roads and infrastructure. This is what HH promises to deliver. Lungu, if you have a vision and you believe you are the right candidate then accept HH’s invitation to a live televised debate to discuss these issues. HH is ready anytime.
      Wina azalila

    • @Senior Citizen, why are you worried? Tukafisova. A number of PF mps will endorse HH after the victory.
We are following the constitution afterall.
      Just concentrate on your campaigns.

      Viva #FlightHH2015.

    • I would be surprised if there are people who take this guy Mbita serious. This is what happens when people depend on politics for a living. Even there thinking begin to depend on politics.
What does this Mbita guy mean when he says dislocation of programs. There is only a year before general elections, so according to Chitala, PF will finish all there so-called programs between now and December, 2015? I pity the students that this guy Chitala teaches.

About the budget, how many bye-elections has PF caused without budgeting for them? How many districts did PF introduce without budget?
In addition to that PF has contracted a huge external debt in the 3 years they`ve been in power. Under PF, Kwacha is the worst performing currency, the price of corn-meal has increased more than…

    • Any selfless patriotic Zambian guided by a sense of self reality is alive to the fact that sadly our brother HH a known capitalist out of desperation has fallen for some ridiculous utopia. He is impulsively cooking up populist pronouncements at any time he fails to connect with the people. These uncoordinated policy statements are made without a sense reality and remorse. You can see how he has lamentably failed to qualify them. Therefore, other than wishful thoughts harbored of merely fulfilling one’s democratic right of participating in elections, HH is is alive to the fact that El is in the strongest and best position to retain the PF ruling mandate for the common good. HH is heading for yet another humiliating ballot rejection at the hands of a first time entrant.

    • @Senoir Citizen1.3

Your reasoning is worrying me. The #s in Parley swings, HOW MANY MPs are supporting HH as we speak ? More than 85%, Talk of GBM,Masebo,Mutati, Pande etc.

@ Nasilele12 I ve NEVER HEARD your Kachasu man debate in Parley. The only person I ve listened to is Lubinda and if Lubinda STOOD it was going to be ok NOT THIS KACHASU man.

    • Yes!!! Yes!!! and Yes!!! again. Humo Hwine Hena Haikaivotela Heka = 5Hs or simply Hunder 5! I think I’m a great poet.

    • Dislocation of programmes is what happens the world over when a new government is voted in. It is not a valid reason to keep the same government esp a failing one. What is important is how the transition is done. If the outgoing government had workable policies then the incoming govt takes them up. MMD had policies which PF continued and then claimed to be theirs. So “learned gentlemen” (laughable) stop waffling.

    • @#1.1 flag kapoli (or membela pig),

Assuming Hunder 5 won, he wouldn’t dissolve parliament but would just do what other presidents in the past have done – appoint desperate MPs from opposition. However this won’t happen because Hakaivotela Heka! Even kids know that.

    • A Monkey and Baboon where seated next to each other during mass in church. Then the Priest said, turn and tell your neighbour, you’ve been created beautifully and adorably in the image of our Almighty God.The Monkey turns to the Baboon and laughs out loudly,Then tells the Priest,Eish!!,tell him yourself I don’t want to lie in church…

I don’t want to lie about the deranged reasoning from PF cadres!

    • The Independent Observer-Zambia – Headlines for 04/01/2015?

Don’t be overconfident, Scott tells PF

      Picture
DON’T be intoxicated or overconfident with support that the PF is enjoying from the people, Acting President Guy Scott has told PF members In Chingola.

And Dr Scott has told PF to immediately stop ferry cadres from one town to other because his message is tailored for individual district.

Speaking during rally in Chingola at Kaunda Square in Chiwempala today Dr Scott said PF should not be overconfidence like the first Republican President Kenneth Kaunda in 1991 who though he could not be ejected out of power.
He said PF should not act like a boxer that goes in the ring for a fight without preparing himself.

      “Such behaviour can…

    • All those talking about economic growth mean an increase in the number o f street vendors. They should have pushed for a new constitution to avoid bye elections. Opposition parties are exercising their democratic right. I fact the same PF would be saying opposition is too weak to challenge them. They are feeling the heat. democracy is expensive. With good planning costs can be saved but not under PF.

    • Ba mdala bafitala fyee!

This is the thin crust of belly politics and poverty, surely infitala fyaba Chitala is just another PF cadre.
The PF are the laughing stocks of the world, people like the Chitalas have nothing better to walk about, but just another yapping from a proven failures (PF) pathological hypocrites.
Seriously shocking! Who would really in their God given normal mind can choose Edgar Lungu for president? Only hooligans conversed by corruption and visionless can do it. These are the ones we term in political science as, cheese eating monkey converts! They have nothing else but destruction.
Please vote HH for best agricultural, economic, democracy and diversity development enshrined with prosperity.
16 days left PF to be kicked off.
      The Skeleton Key
      ~206~Bones.
      HH…

    • HE IS RIGHT. NO WONDER COMMUNIST COUNTRIES LIKE CHINA HAVE VERY STABLE GROWING ECONOMIES. DEMOCRACY IS REALLY A DRAWBACK, AND CHANGING GOVERNMENTS ANYHOW COSTS THE COUNTRY TREMENDOUSLY

    • He is speaking like someone who has never been to school. Where is the evidence Chitala. In fact the opposite is true because the PF is a party mostly controlled by fools as alluded by Mwamba in yesterdays post.

    • What this political novice think that Lungu is under any obligation to maintain PF ‘s current personnel structure? There is totally nothing that will stop Lungu from appointing fellow Easterners just like Sata did.

Lungu is a Muslim who knows no forgiveness but only vengeance. Lungu is on record saying he will sort out his sworn enemies within PF including Mmembe.

Now that he has teamed up with a fellow Muslim RB, he will be obliged to implement RB ‘s vengeance against all Sata’s associates persecuted RB and helped Sata win over RB.

If Lungu wins, the cabinet will be transformed dramatically to replace most Northerners with Easterners just like Sata did. No surprise here to be expected here at all.

      Vote HH to restore sanity.

    • Iwe Neo-Pamafi(Aka Patriot) wa bosoka ama saya!!
You may hate HH, but it won’t help your cause! only a “stewpit” political schemer would fail to see that a majority opposition will make his life hard. Having just won the presidential by-election, the most prudent thing to do, would be to go for a General Election to obtain that rubber stamp from the electorate to do away with PF once & for all, & to have an Effective majority that wouldn’t inhibit gov; it is better to do it at their weakest – having lost the by-election, their candidate obviously will have to be relieved for losing!

    • TRUE ANALYSIS OF THE SITUATION BY THE TWO ECONOMISTS. TRULY THE OPPOSITION LEADERS HAVE NO INTEREST FOR THE COUNTRY AND ZAMBIAN APART FROM THEIR PERSONAL INTERESTS TO OCCUPY PLOT 1. ZAMBIANS MUST NOT BE F00LED TO THINK THAT HH CAN DEVELOP ZAMBIA ANY MORE THAN SATA AND PF. OPPOSITELY, THE CHAP WILL JUST DERAIL THE MASSIVE DEVELOPMENTS TAKING PLACE NOW. ZAMBIANS DON’T WANT A JOB-ON-TRAINING PRESIDENT. ZAMBIANS NEED AN EXPERIENCED LEADER LIKE EL WHO WILL CONTINUE WHERE SATA LEFT OFF. GOOD AND FRANK ANALYSIS FROM CHITALA AND KOPULANDE- THANK YOU. VOTE LUNGU.

  1. Aba ba mumbwe yabanyokola njala over!!!

All a new president has to do is dissolve Parliament & call for General elections so that we can kick out PF forever!!
The presido will then most likely have a majority in Parliament!!

    • 1. Be a Smart Poll Watcher. Throughout the campaign, opinion polls will be taken by a variety of groups to evaluate public support for the different candidates. Polls reveal who is leading at a certain point in the race. As you read the polls, ask yourself these questions: Who sponsored the poll? Were all the figures released? (When parties and candidates pay for polls, they may only release favorable data.)What kinds of questions were asked? Were the respondents selected randomly? How many people were included in the polling? Are they likely to vote?
2.Rate the Debate .You should enjoy watching a televised debate because you are so well prepared to understand the questions and answers and to evaluate the candidates’ performance.

    • Before the event, get some background on the debate sponsor and follow any conflicts over the debate itself.
3.Rate the Debate Format. A good format should be interesting and fair, should provide information about the candidates and issues and should help you judge the candidates’ leadership abilities.Does it hold your interest?Does it allow the differences between the candidates to surface?Does it make it easy for the candidates to discuss the issues and respond to opponents?Rate the Moderator/Panelists.Is the moderator in control of the debate? Does the moderator or any of the panelists talk too much? Are the questions fair and equally tough on all the candidates? Are the questions clear? Is there enough information so that viewers understand the meaning of the answers? Are follow-up…

    • Is there enough information so that viewers understand the meaning of the answers? Are follow-up questions used to pin down the candidates?Do the questions cover all the important issues?
4.Rate the Candidates. As you watch, be aware of your reactions both to the substance of the candidates’ remarks and the visual images that are conveyed. They can be powerful. Clearly, the power of images can cause voters to overlook what is being said. Are you influenced by the age, gender, clothes or physical characteristics of the candidates? Who appeared more relaxed, more sincere, more confident? Who uses television better by looking directly at you, for example? In judging substance, decide who answers or evades the questions. Do the candidates tell you their stands on the issues, or do they…

    • Do the candidates seem well informed and give answers consistent with previous positions? Are their answers realistic or are they just campaign promises?
      5. Sort It All Out. Review the information you have collected and ask yourself these final questions:Which candidate’s views on the issues do I agree with most?Who ran the fairest campaign?Which candidate demonstrated the most knowledge of the issues?Which candidate has the leadership qualities I am looking for? Is the choice clear? Then pick a candidate.
6.Do Something!Back the candidate you believe in.Talk to others about “your” candidate.Be a letter writer. Tell candidates, newspapers and party leaders how you feel about the issues or the campaign.Volunteer to work on a campaign. Then on election day VOTE! Vote, It’s In Your Best…

    • Then on election day VOTE! Vote, It’s In Your Best Interest!
      7. One Vote Makes the Difference. In 1960, John F. Kennedy won the presidential election by a margin of less than one vote per precinct. In 1968, Richard Nixon won the presidency by a margin of fewer than three votes per precinct.Democracy truly works only when people exercise their right to participate in the electoral process.Make democracy work — get involved!

    • This reasoning is shallow and does not contest the reasoning of mbita’. U think resolving parliament is that easy? Get to your books.

  2. Ala such garbage still around?? Spent force you don’t come with any voters apart from you and your stomach!!

  3. Dr Chitala you need to shut up! There is already a dislocation in governance. Government leadership is not a preserve a particular party, persons, group etc. That is why it is called democracy.

    • @ bia the concentration speaks for its self. PF has more members. Maybe as one said – if pf members defect to upnd that will work. Again upnd as the post once recently noted, its not good for upnd mps to join other political parties but others joining or supporting the party.

    • Ba mumbwe aba balebosa chabe kunsala. What disjointed reasoning is this: PF has failed so let’s allow them to continue!!! Surely you can’t be serious. Can you not see the failed promises, pangas of intolerance flying left, right and centre. Voting for PF is asking for more of intolerance!!!

  4. People talk about saving money but we spend more, remember the HIPIC sacrifice the country made.
    but poor governance means wasting.
From lies about constitution, Barosteland, chitimukulu, sata’s illness, their presidential conference, political violence, now EL’s health, their campaign money from muslims Boko haram, is it the love of the country why people will vote for PF or just being typical African or the equivalent of anti progress which lead to assassination of Martin Luther?

  5. Hon chitala you are 100% right allowing PF to go unopsed wud have given opsition enuf amunition to fight lungu but what can they say about lungu who has never been president before and his record is clean. elyo why shud we change a working govt compare a lowest paid worker in govt with highest paid at any of HH company. Did HH suport PF salary increaments what were his comments? OPEN YOUR EYES

    • @6 THIS IS VERY GOOD OBSERVATION. TRULY HH DID NOT SUPPORT SALARY INCREMENTS BY SATA. NOW, WHAT MAKES PEOPLE THINK HH WILL BE DISHING OUT FREEBIES. IN FACT HH HAS NEVER AGREED TO ANY OF THE INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT PLANS- MEANING BUILDING ROADS, HOSPITALS, UNIVERSITIES ETC. TODAY HH WANTS TO CONTINUE WITH SATA’S DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS! ULABEJA MUSANKWA.

  6. Yaba ati let Lungu stand unopposed. Mbita you dont make at all. Dislocation of government programs its been happening way back in time every time a new government was formed. I fear for Zambia the PF government is a violent government and if Vodka Lungu wins violence will continue . It breaks my heart that some people still wants the PF gov. ZAMBIANS PLEASE STAND TOGETGER AND VOTE THIS THUGGERY GOVERNMENT OUT.

  7. what hope is UPND if all the pipo who ruined our country can join HH? Has HH apologzd eg his part figting with MMD in north western and chilanga? His part fighting PF. His party is ever right. what of comments made by his members eg nkombo, Banda and now masebo and her state funerals what of MUBEMBA NGU SATAN. Thank God HH is going no where!

    • @monde, they have just endorsed him. Take heart my friend – Masebo is not UPND but PF.
Nkombo and Banda can speak their minds. HH is not a dictator.

      Viva #FlightHH2015.

  8. Dr. Chitala and Mr. Kopulande are just expressing their views. But their views are completely wrong, as usual! A good number of Zambian PhD holders are an embarrassment!

    • completely agree with. IF this is the calibre of Zambian intellectuals then the country will turn into a failed state because they are incapable of analysing a situation which needs to be put right. The PF is mismanaging the affairs of the country. In other words Chitala and Kopulande are happy for PF to continue with the plunder of national resources. I think these two men have become useful *****s for PF inspite of their PhDs. We know that they are beneficiaries of PF financial incompetence. They have never heard of the word COALITION. The new President will work together with MPs from other parties to pass laws.

  9. I would be surprised if there are people who take this guy Mbita serious.

In addition to that PF has contracted a huge external debt in the 3 years they`ve been in power. Under PF, Kwacha is the worst performing currency, the price of corn-meal has increased more than…

  10. UPND intelectuals surely can we go for HH untrained governor leaving lungu a trained governor? lungu has acted before while HH has never seen a govt pay slip can we go for such a person simply becoz he has money? Job on training is nolonger in zambian language store

    • Some people had positions under PF because of their biological or regional connections with those in power & that condition alone does not make them better than others who didn’t have the connections. The best assurance for progress is CHANGE.

  11. U can ignore Kopulande’s wise counsel at yo own peril, he is educated and qualified to analyze political and economic environment. UPND want to talk all the time and not listen. U can’t learn by talking, u learn by listening. HH does not even have the levels of education That these guys have attained. But hear him and his supporters talk. One may think that HH is the most educated guy in this country. Wat can help HH to start using effective tools of economic and political analysis is furthering his education

  12. @Nasilele !!

But was NOT SATA experienced as you put it. Wht happened ?

HH is not a disgruntled guy. He is a VERY ORGANISED guy who cant do ‘chipantepante’ as wht we ve seen with PF.

PF should just prepare to pack their bags and leave us in piece.

  13. Every Party that comes into power uses the country’ s resources to develop the nation. UPND, FDD or MMD will just phase out the current cabinet and appoint a new one. Implement all developmental programmes and project left by UNIP, MMD and PF. All these years opposition MPS have been supporting progressive policies, projects and programmes.

  14. That is illogical. There is the stronger reason to change government: so that the problems afflicting the people are mitigated and the country set on a better course. Anyway, change of government is inevitable because voters threshold required to do that has already been crossed. HH is just campaigning to achieve more than the 50% + 1.

  15. what kind of thinking is from so called educated. we are merely following the constitution. pf knew all along that Sata was not health to work as president hence they forced him all the way. there will be nothing as dislocation. These two gentleman have been been paid.

  16. Yes in just 17 days, Zambia’s nightmare will be over. There will be no more PF in power, no PANGAS, no more violence, no more deceit, no more quarrels! I can’t wait!

  17. The argument being made is an economic argument. No need for name calling, any policy analyst who looks at this situation objectively would agree with this. If you don’t agree with it, simply show up on polling day and vote for your preferred candidate. It doesn’t negate the validity of what has been said. Happy voting Zambian people.

    • @ Olympia Extention.

The economy as we speak is spiralling we ve to arrest this situation and bring things to order. These guys ve really messed up with everything; they cant pay farmers and so many inadequacies.

HH is a VERY ORGANISED MAN and those in MISSION abroad WHO are ‘dysfunctional’ will just ve to b home BUT those who are ‘harding’ working ve to CONTINUE. HH will move in Phases, the USA way BUT NOT abruptly like a “CONFUSED PERSON” with chipantepante. BUT MINISTERS will be REPLACED UNLESS OTHERWISE where discretion is used LIKE SATA DID to Dr Kasonde…& others who retained their positions……!

      #FlightHH2015

  18. Mr Kopulande, what measures are you using to claim that Zambia is having a rapid economic growth under pf? The living standard of majority Zambians has gone down. Unless if you are saying, the problem is wealth distribution. Then the question is, who are benefiting from the economic growth? Economic growth when farmers are not paid, no wage increase, unemployment levels high, the kwacha weak, I don’t understand this. Government is borrowing huge sums of money which is not even put to good use, thus economic growth? Remember you are not the only economist in Zambia.

  19. If the PF made massive development in the few years they were in power, then their work will speak for itself and people will vote them in.

    #OneZambia

  20. @Sernior Citizen Turncoat Mbita-You are very dull & obsolete on the political arena. How many MPs does Chipimo,Miyanda,Nawakwi & other jokers have? So you are not observing how the Zambians have suffered in almost all aspects of social-economic & human development under PF. One highly wonders how you got your doctorate-Mbita!Hope its not Masumba Formula. There is no progressive realisation on almost all sectors of human development let alone no attainment of any single MDGs under PF,only debts, lies, nepotism & corruption as well as violence. What can a normal human being support PF for when the majority Zambians are more worse off economically than they were under MMD.Its ZwaZwaa PF nomba!

  21. The pictures says a lot about him…….. Look at the picture again and read what it is telling you…..would like to hear from you. There are many perspective to look at it from but for the sake educative and informative discussion lets restrict our selves to the following: Trust, Confidence, Objectivity, Optimist, Persist and Attention seeker.

For me the issues brought out about E.Lungu to have continued could have been sorted out via the constitution…… I thought we learnt something after Mr. Banda took over form Levy ( Rest in Peace) thereafter elections were held within 90 days.

  22. Ignore Mbita. Ignore Kompulande. The people of Ambia will teach PF a lesson and RB will learn a lesson for his deals with Nigerian Muslims by secretly bringing in cash for elections. It amazes me too how Zambians can since so low to support acts of violence because they would like their Lungu to win. Would you be supporting violence if your relatives were the ones being targeted? For Lungu and Scott, we don’t just wants to hear words of condemnation. We want action arrest the ones involved in causing the violence.

  23. As usual UNDP supporters are like a horses with blinkers. They have narrow view of national issues. To UNDP this is a great opportunity to get in government and fix the other piop esp bembas. This will never happen esp with HH in charge. I voted for Mazoka but will never vote for HH. And HH will never be a president of Zambia. Why… because I say so.

  24. What Mr. Chitala means is that Lungu is the one who will maintain the status quo; meaning the nepotism that we now see. To the point that colossal sums have been wasted on by-elections, it can be argued that the situation could have been avoided had the new constitution been passed in the 90 days as we were promised.

  25. AT FIRST, I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND WHY CHITALA, MULONGOTI AND KOPULANDE COULD NOT SUPPORT HICHILEMA. AFTER DEEP THINKING AND REFLECTION, I FOUND THE REASON: INFERIORITY COMPLEXION AND JEALOUSY. THEY ARE EDUCATED PROFESSIONALS BUT HAVE FAILED TO SUCCEED AS HAKAINDE HAS SUCEEDED PROFESSIONALLLY, IN BUSINESS AND POLITICS. THEY HAVE OPTED TO SUPPORT A FELLOW FAILURE, LUNGU. PRESIDENT MWANAWASA FACED A SIMILAR SITUATION FROM FELLLOW LAWYERS AND OTHER PROFFESSIONALS.

  26. THIS IS WHAT OUR ORGANIZATION IS PREDICTING THAT MORE AND MORE PROMINENT POLITICIANS AND FORMER LEADERS WILL THIS WEEK AND THE COMING WEEK ENDORSE EDGAR AS THE RIGHTFUL CANDIDATE TO SUCCEED THE PRESIDENCY.
SINCE THESE PROMINMT PEOPLE HAVE THAT ADMIRE THEM. THEY SWAY THE MINDS OF THEIR ADMIRERS TO ALSO ENDORSE EDGAR FOR PRESIDENY AND HENCE MAKE PF HEAD FOR VICTORY IN THE JAN 20 BY ELECTIONS.
OUR ORGANIZATION AT THE MOMENT WILL NOT GO INTO PSYCH ANALYSIS OF WHAT PROPELS THE FORMER LEADERS AND PROMINENT PEOPLE ENDORSE EDGAR. THAT WILL BE A SUBJECT FOR ANOTHER TIME. BUT WATCH FOR MORE ENDORSEMENT FOR EDGAR.

  27. Ba Chitala. You are not only a paid gun, but a political prostitute, a tribalist, and a failed political scientist. I wonder who even made the mistake of accepting your doctorate application. Most likely the degree was one of those you have obtained from the streets of India. No wonder you failed in MMD and ZADECO. You were booted out of MMD, and in ZADECO, you betrayed your President the late Mungomba for salt. I wonder why riff raffs like you live longer and political saints die.

  28. Dr mbita and kopulande well done you are real senior citizens who come up when it matters most.Thumbs up.IFINTU NI LUNGU

  29. Chitala is thinking from the belly. Even his intellectual claim is mediocre. He has never published a single peer review paper. He is not on Google Scholar. Let him speak as a hired politically correct PF dander head

  30. bloggers. Where is the LT paid cyber gun Mushota? On PF campaigns in the Zambian villages where there is no internet? Or busy working 24-7 at ECZ doctoring the voters roll??? Having realised that the best option PF has to remain in stolen power is not by blogging PF political propaganda, but by exerting all energies including Mushota’s at the ECZ rigging centre.

UPND, please hire the best brains to carry out voter tabulation & monitoring parallel system, and who can ensure that they hack the ECZ system and drop in electronics mandates to prevent ECZ from rigging from their own system.

Take my advice very seriously. PF have a lot to remain hidden. At the moment, they will not concede defeat. They will not allow any process to remove them from power.

    Zambians get ready 4…

  31. Mbita Chitala is a big failure in business and politics. His mentor was Dean mungomba the late.

Let mbira Chitala explain to us and tell us how late Penza died first, instead of yapping from the belly.

  32. Chipata is simply stating what happens in an ideal sense, he didn’t say that Government will change, NO and so imwe ba UPND chaps take it easy ’cause HH will never ever rule ZAMBIA.
He is saying that whenever Government changes, there’s usually dislocation of of programs and resources not that PF is leaving Government.

It’s an ideal scenario here is giving only.

    Viva Edgar Lungu, viva continuity.

  33. If you that stopping the PF from stealing government funds through the RDA is dislocating government programs then you are right, but then is stealing government funds a government program you can be defending?

If you mean that stopping the PF from impoverishing the people of Northwestern province by diverting resources obtained from their mines to Muchinga province is disclocating govt programs you might be right , but is this the kind of govt program you can defend?

The PF has failed to put money in pipo,s pockets, failed to pay farmers, failed to give us the constitution, caused increase in cost of living, so if the PF have working government programs why are they failing in all these areas? But then we cannot be defending failed PF programs, let these PF programs be dislocated

  34. can some one please answer the following questions.

    1. Who among the surviving and prominent figures in Zambian politics was at one time a key person in MMD ended only with a junior ministerial position.?
    2. Who was that person and still living was at one time labelled as one of the m… mafia by a fellow colleague in their political party?
    3. Who is that person who in the foreign service decampaigned his fellow country person from winning AU chair.
    4. Who is that person who tried to masquerade as as Sata, s trustee in the September 2011 presidential race but was latter disowned.?
    5. Do you remember one of the key people at the helm of Zadeco a political party that nerver succeeded. incidentally that person is still trying his luck by associating himself with any political…
