United Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema says victory is certain for him in tomorrow’s presidential election.
Speaking on a paid for programme broadcast on a number of radio stations across the country through HOT FM this morning, Mr Hichilema said that his confidence of winning the presidential election is also backed by the results of the MUVI TV final opinion poll released yesterday in which he amassed 4,744 votes representing 84.5 percent followed by his closest rival PF presidential candidate Edgar Lungu with 718 votes representing 12.8 percent.
He added that he is confident of emerging victorious because he is the only presidential candidate who has campaigned throughout the country.
Mr Hichilema has since appealed to Zambians to tomorrow turn out in large numbers very early in the morning and cast their votes.
He said that Zambians have an opportunity to elect a knowledgeable and skilled leadership that will turn around the economy.
Mr Hichilema said that God has given the people of Zambia an opportunity to come out of their current suffering, stating that God’s time is the best.
And Mr Hichilema has said that Presidents who will come after him, if he wins will not have retirement homes built for them.
Mr Hichilema said that he will not have a retirement house built for him, but that his job as President will be to empower citizens with housing through the introduction of a long term mortgage product which is lower interest rate bearing.

For ten weeks, HH has maintained a well oiled and well coordinated campaign machinery never seen in Zambia before. He has shown a rare strength – rallies, meetings, Radio interviews, visitations to markets and hospitals etc – for ten weeks plus and still he does not look ragged!!!!
This is just a glimpse of what the man can do.

He talks about cement prices when a majority of Zambians cannot relate because they cannot build home. He has failed to effectively mention how he plans to create employment. Mangango and Zambezi West were parliamentary bye elections and you of all the people should understand what characterises such elections – DCs left their stations for campaigns. all the 16 DCs from Western province were in zambezi campaigning for PF, even the for Luampa the same thing happened. people were drilling boreholes during voting. HH hasnt said he will win by 84% but you need to begin to ask yourself questions like why is it that even with the tangible roads that the PF has done in towns, people are doubting them? PF failed us on governance issues and they were not a coherent lot. if they win this election, then they really need to improve. i personally voted for MCS and PF but has swung to HH solely based on this score.

That is based on a sample by Muvi TV to make inferences about a population. It is scientific enough to draw a conclusion as to who will win. Why do you think most opinion polls at least agree that HH is winning although with different percentages? Why do you think this time around, pro ruling party opinion poll surveyors like Neo Simutanyi are jittery and cant declare the ruling party candidate as winning except those done by some bogus surveyors like Emmanuel Bwamba and the like? They know things are clear this time who is winning but they don’t want to recognise.
HH said God had told him that he is going to win the election – that is prophecy from the mouth of HH. After the results we shall see whether HH heard the voice of God or the devil or his own voice or he was just lying. If God told him no rigging will succeed and HH will be president. If God said so no one will stand in his way. Who Am I to oppose what God has said. If Mr. president HH of UPND lose the election he should keep quite and stop accusing PF that it has rigged the election.
It is my view that if Mr. HH, won the election Zambia economy would be the worst in Zambian History. His plans is not different from KK, and we have been there before. It goes without a word that HH has run the most well thought-out, clever and well-synchronised campaign in the history of Zambia’s opposition just like he is arguably the best corporate manager in the history of Zambia.

To me this is not an extraordinary campaign HH has run but within what he is capable of doing that many people fail to do; he is talented that whatever he touches turns into gold because of his expanse of knowledge, skills and experience.
There is no doubt that his well thought-out, clever and well-co-ordinated campaigns give a picture of his organizational skills encompassing physical and mental organization and time management abilities.
And good organizational skills are essential for successful…
successful republican president to balance a host of different duties. This is part of the parcel of qualities HH can bring to the Zambian presidency.
Besides, it shows the type of government HH will run if people were to give him the mandate to serve Zambia.
For 50 years we have been searching through endless stacks of leaders and policies to find the one leader and policies that would move Zambia forward and we have such a leader in HH who knows the value of being organized.
HH’s organisational skills will definitely save time and help keep Zambia socially, economically and politically humming along smoothly for the benefit of all Zambians and posterity.
Certain of winning, in which country, bantustan definitely! Lungu was engaged in quantity and quality campaigns, and that’s why he will be sworn as Zambia’s sixth president on Wednesday , 21st January, 2015!

Your provincial predictions are meaningful. I expect a similar outcome. I might add the the magic number is 40%. EL will get no more than 40% with a margin of error of +\-2%.
The challenge for HH is getting above 40%. I think he will get 42% +\-1%.
IF he loses please let him rename himself, HAKAINDWE , because HAKAINDE means passing through and HAKAINDWE means someone will surpass him .

I had almost kept quiet until i saw those unrealistic opinion poll reults. 85% is not only wishful thinking but it is a product of grandiose hallucinations. the government of HE King Cobra (MHSRIP) did a commendable job to have anticipated an epidemic of heart attacks post 20 January. I can see Dipak on a stretcher followed by anotherone carrying Maureen Mwanawasa (with her illusionary doctor title fron up some Kabulonga shop), I can see Desai gasping, I can see nalumango frothing from her mouth, I can see Mutati with a stroke, I can see GBM with mouth pulled to one side of his ambi-abused yellow face calling Chama, I can see Membe soiling his pants and the post newspaper has not been published, I can see Mutembo Nchito going into self inpossed exile, I can see VJ losing his memory. Mailo.
It’s like HH and the Muvi TV went into a slumber! Todate to them the PF is still fighting and has not filed in the nomination – you know what dreams can do to people. I fully understand the effect of losing an election felt by Halibelela Hukulusa HH but I kind of don’t seem to understand the effect on the MUVI business’ credibility. Maybe HH already has shares in MUVI TV. He is a business man and Muvi TV is in business. The biggest question is HOW CREDIBLE is the MUVI TV in their business dealings? I have refused to get the MUVI TV’s decoder(I just don’t know why- I hope it could just click on my mind, why, why not get a MUVI TV decoder, why?), but the question of Credibility still lingers on mind.
Anyways, tommorrow we prove them wrong!
The interesting thing is that results will come in first for the swing provinces of CB and LSK.
If one candidate takes one and the other candidate the other, it will make for an interesting show.

Don’t be moved by HH’s words, the man is full of pride, he is like Lucifer, to him there is no one in Zambia who could be his match or above him in every thing, be it in education, wealth, health, etc this is his way of thinking. This is Zambian politics and not western where opinion polls matter a lot. That opinion poll is a doing of MUVI and not the general populace. The fall and end of UPND is coming after 20th Jan 2015. The voting pattern has not changed in that we are using the 2011 voters register, most of the young people you are seeing at the rallies don’t even have voters. Time to pay back Zambian money.
Those opinion polls are all trash. They are sent by few paid up UPND members sending dozens and dozens and there is no credibility in such polls.
Just this afternoon, HH has already cried foul that the elections will not free and fair. Some of us who read in context have already deduced that the man has conceded defeat.

I start to think the opinion poll was conducted in Southern province. It is not possible for HH to win the election by more than 80% across the country. This can only happen in one province and that is Southern only where history has always repeated itself. Kay, If Edgar Lungu indeed not a Moslem as you seem to suggest, why hasn’t he repudiated this accusation publicly? He has been mute over it. Is he hiding something? And for God’s sake, why is he fearing to come out in the open and deny that he is a Moslem?
I think EL is a conman. Any wonder he has been tight-lipped about Ruth Mbandu’s death. He only used it as a whip to try to subdue Miles Sampa into submission. This is the guy some of the Zambians are excited about, wanting him to be their president! It is a disgrace.
