    • HH is headed for victory now. Judge for yourselves.

      ECZ announces totals from 80 constituencies.
      EL = 533,613
      HH = 474, 076
      Lungu leads by 59,537
      The constituencies verified from each province are as follows:
      CENTRAL ========= 6 from 14 constituencies
      COPPERBELT====== 17 from 22
      EASTERN========= 8 from 17
      LUAPULA========= 10 from 14
      LUSAKA========== 12 from 13
      MUCHINGA======= 3 from 10
      NORTHERN======= 4 from 13
      N. WESTERN====== 5 from 12
      SOUTHERN======= 12 from 18
      WESTERN======== 3 from 17

    • TO ALL OUR SUPPORTERS LOCAL AND ABROAD. Like we told you,stay calm.we are about to finish compiling the

      results for all 150 constituencies.So far we are done with 140 and HH is leading with 20,000 votes.The remaining seats : 3 are in

      northern province,2 in eastern,chama district to be precise and 5 in western province. And we can confidently say that the upnd is the party that is producing the next head of state.whatever propaganda is there from our colleagues please ignore,as matter of fact,they know what we are talking about,but they just want to bring confusion.We refuse in the name of our lord Jesus Christ.

      ONE ZAMBIA,ONE NATIONAL & ONE PEOPLE.

      ZAMBIA FORWARD.

    • I have been reading comments from people that Tongas should learn to live with others, just what do they mean? What about those married couples from different tribes, with one being Tonga? Why is it tribalism when Southerners vote for credible leadership? So Tongas were not tribalists when there were voting for MMD and PF in the past few years?

      Let’s look at the Copperbelt province. Given how much that province contributes to our country’s GDP it should be a world class province by now. I just don’t understand how people can vote for the same rubbish politicians who only entered politics to make money for themselves. Zambians really need to wake up!

    • So that’s 37 not counted for Edgar and 24 not counted for HH… And the gap of 59000 to be closed. Plus 9 from central province to be shared….

      Well Edgar has got this election by the balls.

    • Ati Maite iwina ichungulo ….. did i not tell you.

      HH leading by 20,000 votes after 140 constituencies

      Some more good German beer

    • @MM LE GRAND and other members of TEAM DELUSIONAL PLEASE READ THIS MORE THAN ONCE TO GET THE GRASP OF REALITY..

      For HH to beat EL he needs to get the 59,537 votes from the remaining 70 constituencies and then he has to top up on the votes which EL will get from the very same 70 constituencies…IS REALITY SINKING IN YET..EH GUYS IS IT ???? Sorry guys even in terms of probability its very, very unlikely unless you tell me 50% of the voters in Northern, Muchinga, Eastern and Luapula voted HH which we all NOW KNOW THANKS TO THE OTHER RESULTS THAT THEY DIDNT…

      … YOUR WELCOME

      NOMBA NI EL2016

    • Where is Emmanuel Mwamba kanshi? these chaps were getting very xited yesterday..PF let me tell u one thing just in-case you forgot. Team HH has invested so much in this campaign and there is no way you gonna rig this one. We have planted our monitors across the country.. Team HH on the move and forward to state house.. You were laughing yesterday ati forward apitilila na state house…sorry guys you were facing the wrong direction…

    • @MM Le Grand

      Only a few days ago we looked at the distribution of voter registration across the 10 provinces based on the 2011 voter registration which is also being used in the current elections.
      It indicated that Provinces like Western Province only offer 8% of the vote while Southern, Eastern, Copperbelt and Lusaka offer higher % returns for candidates.
      It is a fact that one will need at least three of the big blocks to take the day and the real battle grounds are CB, Lusaka and Northern/Muchinga Province.
      The candidate who takes these will carry the day and so far PF looks to have secured those even before considering EL’s Eastern Province which he is expected to take.
      It will be close but EL will take the day.

    • In short, this works out as follows: PF is execting to gain from 31 constituencies (Central, Eastern, Luapula, Northern, Central and maybe Lusaka) and UPND from 24 constituencies (Southern, Western and N/Western).

    • CENTRAL ========= 6 from 14 constituencies (8)
      COPPERBELT====== 17 from 22.. (5)
      EASTERN========= 8 from 17… (9)
      LUAPULA========= 10 from 14… (4)
      LUSAKA========== 12 from 13… (1)
      MUCHINGA======= 3 from 10… (7)
      NORTHERN======= 4 from 13… (9)
      N. WESTERN====== 5 from 12… (7)
      SOUTHERN======= 12 from 18… (6)
      WESTERN======== 3 from 17… (14)

      PF STRONGHOLDS OF CENTRAL, CBELT, EASTERN, LUAPULA, MUCHINGA, NORTHERN AND LUSAKA HAVE A TOTAL OF 35 CONSTITUENCIES REMAINING

      UPND STRONGHOLDS OF NW, WESTERN AND SOUTHERN HAVE A TOTAL OF 27

      WITH THOSE FIGURES I LEAVE YOU ALL TO JUDGE FOR YOURSELF KEEPING IN MIND EL HAS A LEAD OF 59, 537 (WHICH ISN’T A SMALL NUMBER)

      …YOUR WELCOME

      NOMBA NI EL2016

    • The winner is known already looking at the way rural votes are coming. EL hasn’t performed so well in rural areas giving an advantage to HH. It is as simple as that.

    • “UPND DEMANDS RECOUNT” BA LUSAKA TIMES TELL US MORE ABOUT THIS…

      WOW THAT IS THE FIRST TIME IN HISTORY I BELIEVE A POLITICAL PARTY THAT CLAIMS IT IS WINNING HAS EVER DEMANDED A RECOUNT EVEN BEFORE THE FINAL COUNT…

      BA ZAMBIA WE LOVE YOU

      NOMBA NI EL2016

    • Vision, whatever, are you sure Central is PF. This was MMD & trend is 90% of MMD has crossed t UPND! And looking at PF losing margins, 59, 537 is an easy figure to liquidate! Besides, unpaid farmers are in those constituencies remaining. Just helping you come to grips with idea of losing.

    • 2020 Vision is Emmanuel Mwamba paid by PF specifically to issue bogus statements on this website. Even his arguments and statement have no logic and substance just like Lungu – empty tins think alike

    • Chipolopolo took an early lead against DRC who came back and leveled matters. Again today Zambia were in the lead only for Tunisia to come from behind and win the game. What does this trend tell you about the possible outcome of presidential elections. Chipolopolo sounds more like PF.

  1. To get to that number, ECZ has added HH’s strongholds. The PF candidate will be announced as winner.

    • When will Zambians know that copperbelt and Lusaka is not Zambia.Mazoka,Mwanawasa and Banda won all there elections without These places.Watch the space.HH is winning with 2% lead.Its done bane believe it or hang yourself.

    • hmmmm,which fat lady mwebantu. sure even such sayings kukopela mwe.mbwamwe!!!! Pantufye mwaliumfwa from ka movie mwatambile. please, get that shiiiiiiiiiiiiit out of here!!!!!!!!!

  2. Who ever is going to be president must prioritize uniting Zambia. The division of Zambia by region – North and South – as can be seen from the voting pattern so far should worry any level headed Zambian regardless of party affiliation.

    • I will be the first one to look for a Bemba woman and marry her very quickly. One very true thing is that we Tongas love Bemba women so much.

    • @ Commodore
      I am 100% behind your statement. Zambia is a poor country but what has worked so far for the country is the unity which used to be there.
      Sata in his 3 years ruined the relationships between the 72 tribesbadly such that the environment of tribalism has festered like a bad Boil!
      We seriously need to be united as country before it becomes worse. The problem is,the politicians are more than willing to advance tribalism to profit their greediness.
      Just look at how the PF were so RACIST towards Guy Scott. It was so shameful and cringe worthy.
      A leader worthy their call- should unify Zambia as it was in Kaunda and Chiluba era

    • And the tragic thing you are seeing is the sliding of the nation into the previous North Eastern Rhodesia (East and North) and North Western Rhodesia (Barotse land, Southern, Soli land, Lamba land and North Western).

      This cannot and should NOT be allowed to continue lest a schism of the nation occurs.

      There is no other explanation…..Lungu or HH, whoever emerges the winner must reach across the national divide and break this wall.

    • You are right. Need to realign citizens the way King Cobra did districts, eg Mpezeni swaps with Litunga, Mukobela with Mwata Kazembe, Chiti Mukulu with Snr Chief Mweemba, etc. It can work!

    • Absolutely. We need to have “One Zambia, One Nation.” It was great not to have all these tribal sentiments being aired. Let us bring up our children not to see tribe but the person.
      I have never seen Zambia so divided! Thanks to PF we are divided. And we shall fall if the situation is not corrected.

  3. It will turn out like this:
    Provincial Totals so far.
    North Western Province
    UPND: 47,524.
    PF: 7,316
    Southern Province
    UPND: 175,540.

    Whatever happens EL is going to State House….Watch this space!

    • This is actually the true picture. UPND chaps, read today’s Post Newspaper comment, “When you have lost an election, taking carders to protest will not change anything, it simply means you never did you homework in efficient and effective manner, start preparing for the next election”. So we all know who has been taking carders to protest the results, hahahahah….

      UPND lawyer publicly pleads with ECZ for a recount, despite their doctored PVT figures.

      Edgar Lungu is the SIXTH PRESIDENT OF ZAMBIA, NACHIPWA

    • Your celebration will soon come to an abrupt halt when the poll results for only one constituency from HH’s strongholds are posted. There is no need to argue. Just wait and keep your eyes and ears open.

    • Global Eys, Lawyer Chilupe was asking the question for Lungu because the losing margins in UPND strongholds are unbelievable for the Lunguans.

    • More correct. Close to what I have. I am behind by a few constituencies.
      Total number of Valid Votes Cast – 1,168,304
      4R – 4,327
      NAREP – 3,987
      UPND – 505,938
      UNIP – 6,980
      PF – 618,768
      HERITAGE – 3,464
      MMD – 10,355
      FDD – 9,788
      CDP – 2,122
      GREEN – 998

      Ifinti ni Lungu

      Sorry HH needs to concede defeat. try next time
      FDA – 1,577

  4. But don’t those poling stations account for only less than 20,000 votes, assuming there is a 100% voter turn out?

    Why can’t ECZ release all the votes cast and received?

    As for TIZ, what on earth are they doing? What is the point of their PVT, only to parrot what ECZ say?

    Come on people, you can surely do better than that. Put UPND or PF at ease, and let the nation move on!

  5. tonga bullllllllllllllllllllllllls bye bye .HH bye bye.nothing will change because edgar has state security at his residence right now if you are denying go and check for your selvels .hh has lost again

    • @Bwana

      I took up your challenge and visited the Chief Justice/Defence Ministers home located at corner of Brenthood Drive and Leopards Hill road just a couple of metres from the Kabulonga Round About.

      Therein are a lot of cars of I suspect PF campaign team.

      There is NO take over of security. In fact, I didn’t see any Policeman.

      Bloggers, don’t be deceived by the likes of Bwana….go there and check for yourselves.

      Abash PF lies…..ba donchi kubeba.

      I voted HH. And will accept EL if he wins.

  6. PF are visionless, they were celebrating with old results. Now check out HH overwhelmingly and overtaking the blind PF followers!
    Today is the day one Edgar Lungu ditched the Proven Failures (PF) into political oblivion! The problem with PF is that, they are intoxicated with Donchi Kubeba sickness and therefore, even the demise of Sata, PF is still the same dwellings of denial.
    No amount of Donchi Kubeba sickness can stop Gods time. The violence that PF put people throughout the country and pay back time is here.
    Viva HH! Viva Hakainde Hichilema! Viva UPND and Viva victory for Flight HH~15.

    Inside your body,
    the one & only,
    The Skeleton Key
    ~206~

  7. We are now on 141 constituency…HH is still leading by 27,000. This is after the inclusion of one town in Western Provoince.

    I must say that the figures that have come from Northern are no inspiring.

    PF brace yourselves for the worst…When I told you yesterday that we are way ahead, you did not believe.

    The next time I shall post here, is to declare victory or defeat in all honesty

  8. HH is already an online, muvi tv and zambian watchdog opinion poll president, coin security and cattle has already been sent to his house.

  9. AT LEAST IT GIVES UPND CHANCE TO HOPE AGAINST HOPE AND CONTINUE DREAMING ON. LIKE ONE HOLDING ON TO A THREAD WHICH IS GOING TO SNAP ANYTIME.

  10. During the latest ECZ briefing, UPND Senior lawyer Martha Mushipe acknowledged HH will be defeated by over 5, 000 ballots according to their PVT and brought in calls for a possible recount.

  11. Edgar changwa Ngwira lungu is winning. 62% of those votes in the 34% turnout for the remaing constituencies since at least 40% are in the Of supported

    The headline will simply send shocks and some loosing candidate will collapse with such headline

    put the figures announced on excel and see the remaining in characteristics and down wet or over wet accordingly and see.

    Edgar lungu is winning the elections

  12. Sorry mates, I have very reliable data that HH has indeed won but questions to be answered are: i) Why was voter turnout so high in Southern and Western Provinces? ii) Why did North Western vote against EL given that three of the country’s main mines are there and several hundred youths from there are employed in the mines? iii) Why was turnout so high in Central Province (districts in the south like Chibombo and Chisamba and Mumbwa) rural high (than districts in the same province like Serenje and Mkushi) than urban places like Kabwe town? iv) Why did we allow VJ join UPND and not offer him a job in PF? What was Guy Scot really doing? Did he help us or helped the opponents in the cover of the night? I have too many questions!

    • Go and ask your grandfather those questions. We told PF not to ejaculate quickly. We are reminding them not to ever do that. The fact is that whereas PF members were following wherever Lungu went, UPND spread out to all constituencies at once. PF is gone whether you like it or not and this should be a big lesson. I am just sorry that they will have difficulties to pay back what they borrowed from Boko Haram.

    • Kindly ignore first 3 sentences in Python’s post. However, in addition to the rest he says, I am reliably informed that people in north and north/east rural constituencies were at a loss: they didn’t like Lungu, yet they didn’t want to vote for a Tonga in HH, HNCE THE LOW TURN OUT!

    • Check your reliable data. HH is behind again by 112,000 votes with 91 constituencies counted thus far. Look, two points make a line, three make a trend. Edgar Lungu is your President. Accept it.

  13. IF EDGAR LUNGU IS DECLARED WINNER, THEN IT IS THRU HOOK AND CROOK! A DRUNKARD TO BE PRESIDENT OF OUR BELOVED LAND! I REFUSE ! THESE CROOKS ARE BUSY WORKING OUT CALCULATIONS OF VOTES TO ENSURE LUNGU STILL WINS/TAKES A LEAD. WHY ARE YOU AFRAID AND JEALOUSY IF A TONGA BECOMES PRESIDENT? WHY DO YOU ALWAYS TAG ANY TONGA CONTESTING FOR PRESIDENCY IN OUR OWN MOTHERLAND AS BEING TRIBAL. BUT NOT SO IF IT IS BEMBA OR NYANJA? WE SHALL NO LONGER ALLOW OURSELVES TO REMAIN DOCILE WHILE OTHER FEW GLUTTONS MAKE US DOCILE IN OUR OWN LAND. THIS LUNGU IS A FOREIGNER FROM MALAWI. THIS BWEZANI MUMBUYO BANDA ALSO A FOREIGNER FROM MALAWI. WHY BLOCK INDIGENOUS ZAMBIANS FROM RULING US? WHY? TONGA UPRISING IS EMINENT! WE SHALL FIGHT! WE SHALL FIGHT!

    • Do not be desperate. HH has lost the election and you know it. No one has crooked anyone here, international observers are monitoring. UPND is just not as popular as PF across the country. Period!

    • you snakes, is anything wrong with a tonga man to rule? are they not zambians? how spacial do you think you bembas and nyanjas are, thief’s, full of triblelism.how i wish i were a tonga than belong to a bunch of good for nothing creatures.tongas are peaceful and in fact intelligent people.accept it or hang yourselves a tonga man will take the day.TONGA IS RISING,SOON BEMBA WILL BE A THING OF THE PAST only then will zambia be a real christin nation.

  14. THE REMAINING 70 CONSTITUENCIES. PF/UPND STRONGHOLDS

    LP-4/NW-7
    MP-7/CP-7
    NP-9/0P-
    LSK-1/0P-
    CP-7/OP-

    PF=41 STRONG HOLDS against UPND=34 STRONGHOLDS.

    • What you are not taking into account is that in as much as HH is losing in PF strong holds,he is getting some votes,but EL is losing with very big margins is HH strong holds.

      There is no formula here bwana .It is complicated.

    • The hole in the boat is too big. The boat is sinking fast and it is unlikely that there will be a survivor.

  15. Sorry in the of supported areas with huge strongholds. HH has no Chance to win Edgar lungu will win

    Its confirmed on excel

    • But the numbers and differences in HH’s stronghold should worry every PF supporter. HH campaign team were more organized than chimwela party.

  16. Too early to celebrate these elections really, tables are turning and us the non partisan shall have the last laugh. I hope the losing candidate will accept the outcome and forge forward. Losing and winning will always along side! I know some people will go into shock at the end of the day. it is paramount that one party will celebrate while the other will cry foul!

  17. The numbers doesnot support HH but Edgar lungu let’s wait at 1410. and here from. ECZ

    Revised Edgar Lungu 65%

  18. This is game over for UPND do your maths from the remaining constituencies PF is remaining with 37 strong-holds while UPND with 31 strongholds and with UPND strong hold the population isn’t much as compared to PF’s stronghold “but”, PF is already ahead by 59 537 votes and that is a killer punch for Lungu to through HH out of the boxing ring. Stop comforting yourselves that HH will win, come back to reality and accept defeat or else one will have a stroke or a heart attack.

  19. All i can say is i fear for Zambia if EL carries the day. He lacks charisma, a solid manifesto and his health appears questionable. If this is what you want, as the votes seem to show, then let the people’s will be heard. But mark my words there shall be chaos , plunder and confusion and perhaps another head of state funeral the way this is going. Lets pray for peace!

  21. Whether lose or not it just elections. We laugh about it and move on.

    I miss Wanzelu. Nostadrum. Mei Matunga.

    Please come out .Dont hide. we are ready to congratulate YOU and HH.

  22. 6% is not a wide margin. This is a very tight race. Anything can happen, that is democracy for you. Lets just try by all means to avoid violence at the end of it all. It will not benefit anyone. It will take us backwards. We have enough problems already as a country. Let the voice of the people be heard.

  23. All one needs to be is a normal human being by analysing the results without malice. Be loving to both of these Zambians who are in the race. There is no need to start being negative in what one says on any of them. Why are you people always behaving like animals that God never gave the ability to reason. You went to school, but it is like going to school was shear waste of time for some of you. I mean your comments should be of mature nature, after all it is the same Zambia where we all belong and cherish so much. As for me I give Kudos to both gentlemen. One thing to note here is that there is NO IDEOLOGY at stake, both of them just want presidency, period.

  24. All of you are living in the Past. Here is the latest:

    PVT Results from 140 constituencies now show HH/UPND are now IN THE LEAD by about 20,000 votes ahead of EL/PF.

    So what we are waiting for really is for the ECZ announcements to catch up with the PVTs. All PVTs and the internal reconciliations of the political parties themselves now indicate HH/UPND in the lead. Now it is just a question of whether UPND can maintain the lead to the finishing line. According to PVT, there are only 10 constituencies that have not sent in numbers: 3 from PF strongholds, 2 from Eastern province which is so far neutral, and 5 from UPND stronghold. Do your numbers…!!!!

    • Which PVTs are you referring to when during the latest ECZ briefing, UPND Senior lawyer Martha Mushipe acknowledged defeat by over 5,000 ballots according to their PVT and brought in calls for a possible recount.

      To say they will lose by about 5,000 votes is just one way of comforting themselves. The fact is under the current defective constitution, even one vote is enough to win you an election. Bottom line is the UPND have unwittingly publicly admitted defeat.

      What happened to the now infamous MUVI TV opinion poll that sent UPND supporters into ecstasy? HH will win this election by a whooping 84 percent.

    • And the fact that ECZ is investigating reports that its officials are inserting numbers for PF to boost the numbers.

  25. I’m still calmly waiting for the final count. Browsed quickly through the comments…..didn’t you guys know campaigning ended @ 1800hrs on January 19th????

    So what’s the beef? The die’s been cast.

    I kinda expected camaraderie now, with warm friendships being forged after the good fight…

    (*sigh*)

  26. I thought Tumfweko.com announced around 4 am this morning that EL has won and that security have already secured his home-bamambala even showed a picture of HH apparently sobbing after having conceded defeat. I went for a shift in frustration thereafter thinking we are dead and buried only to come back and discovering that it is actually still game on, how sweet!!……….Faka, kunka mulilo HH bana badie nsima!!

    UPND iwina ichunguloo!!!

  27. strong hold for hh – 27
    strong for EL – 43

    only if you can tell us that all in remaining 70 will vote for HH which is not possible

  28. I am done preparing his excellence’s maiden speech to be delivered on Saturday. Mr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu will add few things of his own though. Have a good day people and thank you for your votes.

  29. Balalila nge ng’ombe ati mooooooooooooooo…………..?…ke ke ke ke ke,Ukulusa kunfwika shani?To my pf family lets waer white tomorrow kupasa ichililo.One love.

  30. 70 constituencies to go, UPND strong hold constituencies remaining as follows, southern 6, western 14, north western 7. PF strong hold constituencies remaining as follows, muchinga, luapula and northern 27, eastern 10 and Central 8. Whom do you think is getting it. The result above is authenticated by ECZ by 10.30 hrs today

  31. This is a very exciting election.The winner will have every reason to celebrate.The competition is too tough for the contenders.

  32. GUYs LIFE MUST CONTINUE EITHER DREAMING OR NOT. LET AS AVOID CONFRONTATIONS AFTER ALL WE ARE ALL ZAMBIANS.YOU KNOW WHAT WE ARE JUST ASSISTING THIS POLITICIANS TO TAKE THEIR CHILDREN ABROAD TO GET BETTER EDUCATION, AS FOR AS WE JUST REMAIN LIKE BEFORE.SO LET AS KEEP OUR PEACE.

    REGARDS

  33. Iliko bad. Mushota can you decide what result you want to see. One minute ur rooting for HH in the next ur rooting for EL make up yo mind!

  34. The results are already well known. HH is a 4 times loser! They are just postponing in UPND pain for you 1 tribe party. EL has won 7 provinces. How can u win the Presidency with only 3 provinces, regardless of whether you all turn up 100% to vote? How? Two of your provinces voter list is cancelled by Copperbelt alone. Lusaka cancels out ka Southern province, meaning the remainder of eastern and all the northern provinces is just MBASELA. Work with other tribes, Zambia is 1 country.

  35. Rasco absolutely right. No need to be harsh against each other. This competition is good for us citizens because it will make whoever will win to work hard to our benefit. Never in Zambia should we encourage landslide victories.

    So bloggers stop being hard on each other and the loser should start planning for 2016.
    In my views it will be very dangerous for the opposition to win this election because they will have to impress for the next one year which is impossible to achieve.

  36. HH worked EXTREMLY HARD and he deserves the VICTORY. Who is Edgar ? He cheated all the way through. Zambia is not a monarch where one is anointed. Let him go to North Korea if he wants to be a anointed.

  37. NOTHING BUT THE REAL AND REAL TRUTH

    To all Zambians who prefer nothing but the truth, please hear this truth from me and not the propaganda you are being subjected by people that only want to alarm people.

    HH is now leading Edgar Lungu with more than 27 000 counted so far 141 constituencies counted so far.

    Very soon the ECZ will declare HH the winner of the 20th January 2015 Presidential Elections.

    HH IS THE 6th PRESIDENT OF ZAMBIA.

  38. EL is leading…HH is catching up… EL is still leading…HH is… This is actually a good Holywood movie script… Most of the pipo dont how this movie will end.. the fact that one need to use a calculator to predict the winner is very entaintaing.

    Having said that my calculation points to EL to win this one by a simple majority.. 10 votes will do .

    • So after all HH has a following outside the so called Bantustan?

      Brethren, lets abash tribalism and those who want to divide the nation on tribe for politics of the belly. Munkombwe is chief of them and some bloggers like Kudos , Gen and other incorrigibles.

      Lets embrace each other at the communion table of oneness and nationhood.

  39. APOSTLE AUSTIN LIABUNYA said this during a night of cross over service he conducted in the township of Area 23 at Music Crossroads tent in Malawi’s administrative capital Lilongwe in the wee hours of 1st January, 2015.
    “What will happen in Zambia during the coming elections is similar to what happened in Malawi during her elections” said the Prophet to a listening congregation adding, “there will be fake alliances
    among political parties.”“They will not win; God will scatter them by fire.”
    Describing HH as a youthful leader, the Prophet said “The young man must be clever “I see stealing of votes from him. He simply needs prayer so that this issue of stealing votes from him should not happen otherwise God has said he will win….and if they will steal his votes….”

    • @Pretty your Malawian preacher is definitely one of the false prophets mentioned several times in the bible…he is a certified charlatan, swindler, womanizer and con artist…so what does that make his followers??? Just asking…

      NOMBA NI EL2016

  40. \[ \frac{\partial ^2 \psi }{\partial x^2} + \frac{\partial ^2 \psi }{\partial y^2} + \frac{\partial ^2 \psi }{\partial z^2} + \frac{8 \pi ^2 m}{h^2}(E-V)\psi = 0, \]

    This is the equation used to verify the final results.

    Its not a matter of simple addition.

    This is why it has taken three days to add the numbers from 150 constituencies where the total number of voters is less than 3000, 000.

  41. @Wils
    43 Remaining Constituencies – PF
    27 Remaining Constituencies – UPND

    Do the Maths!

    PF 43 x 0.3 (30%)= 12.9
    UPND 27*0.9 (90%)= 24.3

    the %s are in terms of voter turn out in these areas. Math for you
    please get a life, HH has won

    ati security kuli EL, yes so that he doesnt insight his chaps for Violence weshilu weh

    • Ba Chumbu… Poor attempt at mathematics! Are you assuming that all the remaining constituencies have the same number of voters?

    • @chumbu are you are primary school pupil??? Mamaye muli chipuba…

      AS THE VOTES CONTINUE TO ROLL IN WE EXPECT LUSAKA TIMES NEXT HEADING TO BE ALONG THE LINES OF…

      “EDGAR LUNGU WIDENS LEAD”

      BA ZAMBIA WE LOVE YOU

      NOMBA NI EL2016

    • @Chumbumunshololwa

      You are onto something.

      I will not reveal more….let him who has insight dwell into what chumbu is pointing to.

      The law of averages and marginal incremental differentiation is the tipping point for this election.

      I now appreciate those differential calculus classes….there is something in the offing that will surprise everyone in Zambia.

      Look at it this way……two people found 18 sealed boxes filled with bundles of cash. The stronger one got 12 sealed boxes and the other one just managed to get 6 boxes. Who got the biggest loot of cash??

      Think carefully…….is it possible for the one with 6 boxes to have got more cash than the one with 12 boxes.?

      You get it…..kkkkkkkk…….there is a shocker on the way!!!

  42. TIZ PVT totals as of 3 minutes ago are as follows:

    PF – 604,213
    UPND – 486,256

    Difference: 117,957

    You do the maths. And don’t use ZWD’s figures

  43. it seems PF is winning looking at the results from western province.I’m now confident that EL may be the next president of Zambia.

  44. Latest PVT by TIZ after 91 constituencies is as follows: Edgar Lungu – 618 768
    Hakainde Hichilema – 505 938

    Difference between the two is 112 830

    • To beat the difference, we need three Tonga constituencies of 40,000 registered voters each.

      Or 5 Monze’s to catch up and a few Namwala’s in order to win.

      Impossible.

      Mrs Lungu just start preparing a few phrases as you learn to mingle in the diplomatic world.

      Learn things like , Group eight, GDP, Mining Conglomerate, HIV and poverty reduction strategies. stake holders.

      Remember stake holders has got nothing to do with meat.

      With immediate effect, identify a different hair salon, know where to do your nails. Identify new phasion designers,

      Learn appropriate meals for breakfast, no more Nshima for breakfast.

    • A total of 80 constituencies have been counted and announced so far with PF candidate Edgar Lungu getting with 533,613 while the UPND’s Hakainde Hichilema has 474,076 votes.
      The gap between Lungu and HH is 59, 537.
      The breakdown of the 70 remaining constituencies is as follows:
      Southern Province has 7 remaining
      Western Province has 14 remaining
      Central Province has 8 remaining
      Copper belt has 5 remaining (Rural)
      Eastern Province has 11 remaining
      Luapula has 4 remaining
      For Lusaka all have been completed
      Muchinga and Northern Province combined have 14 remaining
      North Western has 7 remaining.
      From the above breakdowns, 36 remaining constituencies are in the UPND strong holds where they are expected to win all of them with good margins that may offset Edgar Lungu’s…

  45. TONGA BULL YOU ARE WRONG
    1.LUSAKA 1 CONSTITUENCY REMAINING
    2.SOUTHERN 6
    COPPER-BELT NOT JUST RURAL EVEN SOME URBAN CONSTITUENCIES
    3.NORTHERN AND MUCHINGA 16 REMANING

    PLEASE DO NOT MISLED THE PEOPLE

    • He is note wrong. Check my post @ 64.1

      The argument is actually simple. If it were in Mr Sata’s time, this election would have been over as EL has led in in most constituencies thus far. BUT….AND this is the BIG BUT…..he has NOT managed to draw the massive turnout and votes that Mr Sata had and also this time and for the first time UPND has made a decent showing in PF stronghold from 1% to close to 15%. BUT ALSO it has managed to maintain the massive sweep of its strongholds.

      I gave a differential calculus anology using 18 sealed boxes of cash….and perhaps I could be onto something.

      Whatever happens, let us both camps, PF and UPND, maintain peace in Zambia.

  46. Okay LT, thanks for this update but data has since changed. HH is trailing by 112,000 votes and N. Western, Southern are materially completely counted.

    • @Lord Voldemort (The Dark Lord)

      I voted HH.

      The strongholds that PF has are not what they were in ba Sata’s time. Ba Sata won the 2011 elections with only FOUR provinces but with massive sweeps in province.

      Did EL have command of these strongholds that in the time of ba Sata only gave HH less than 6 000 votes for both Northern and Luapula? Did EL record same massive sweeps that ba Sata had? HH is now scoring same in two constituencies in the bastion of PF (CB, Lusaka, North and Luapula).

      That is the achilles heel of EL; his lack of sweeping command of PF strongholds.

  47. YOU ARE ALL FOOLS. HOW DO YOU TALK ABOUT STRONGHOLDS WITHOUT TALKING ABOUT THE LOW VOTER TURN OUT? YOU MAY CLAIM TO BE HAVING STRONGHOLDS BUT LOOK AT THE TURN OUT. MWANYA ELO LWAPYA NOMBA. LEKENI BAMBI BESHEKO.

  48. HH has won, the delay isbeing caused by backdoor negotiations for PF to relimquish power. You think ECZ would have results and fail to tell you all this time? why would they ask TIZ to stop updating the public? PF just need to conceed defeat and we will have the results as soon as they do so.

  49. When U cannot Identify all voters in the voters roll use the Kth analysis in sampling and select an appropriate sample would be voters Given those characterises in those constituencies

    You will observe that the Voters mean in sample-turnout and population (registered voters) tend to crystallise around a normal distribution

    Given the characteristics of the voters in Zambia its either a plus or minus for the other candidate

    In this case the candidate with a larger sample makes the grade

    Put on excel and sell that Edgar has a larger sample in those outstanding areas and therefore will carry the day
    Edgar Lungu For President 65% revised forecast from 62% of those voter turnout

  50. MMD has given votes slightly to HH moving him from the firmly projected of 32% to somewhere 51%

    HH cannot win given the skewness of votes given that turnout

    Edgar Lungu 6th President Elect 2015

  51. TIZ: PF Maintains Lead in 91 Constituencies Counted
    Here are the Statistics from the 91 constituencies we have captured so far.

  53. I have been a contractor supplying building materials to builders of a castle in the air! The castle will still be there in the air! Wina azalila!

  54. What’s up with Lusaka times, last update from them was at noon. 5 hours later and nothing, why? Are you supporting someone, before you where releasing figures like hot cakes. I know ZWD is biased but they are releasing ECZ results and the numbers are getting tighter. There are romours of Mwamba and Chungu computer hackers being arrested. I am not in Zed but we might be see something momentus happening. Let’s wait and see by tomorrow.

  55. Justice Irene Mambilima is addressing the press at Mulungushi Conference Center. I can’t speculate what she is talking about. The briefing is in session. But I still maintain what I posted last night that HH will emerge the winner in this election.
    Details about Justice Mambilima’s press briefing will come to you momentarily.
    Good day.

  56. ECZ ANNOUNCES AT 90 CONSTITUENCIES COUNTED THUS FAR

    EL MAINTAINS LEAD AT 50%

    HH TRAILS BEHIND AT 45%

    BA ZAMBIA WE LOVE YOU

    NOMBA NI EL2016

    (BA LSK TIMES WE NEED A NEW HEADLINE BABA)

    • At 100 its 50% PF and 46% UPND …of the 1,270,762 total PF is at 634,795, UPND at 589,347 margin of 4% on the two….

      It now all depends of the make up of the 50…I know most are UF strongholds. Even if they share the spoils half half PF will carry the day.

      Ndie mwamene nionela. Mbo hili hintu basa

  57. “I will not be pressured into doing anything wrong. not afraid of being fired”

    “Please try and be rational even if you are politicians.”

    ~ Ireen Mambilima just now

    My love abounds.

    • Wow! She said that?! Mama Justice Mambilima is a blessing to Zambia and Africa as a whole. May God Bless this woman.

    • @The visionary

      Isn’t she a treasure?
      She also just said “There is too much misplaced militancy.”

      I’d like to know so much more about her. I’m still advocating for her being made Chief Justice.

    • You read my mind. I was just saying to myself if HH wins we should petition him to nominate her for Chief Justice. She can sweep-clean the judiciary.

  58. The latest updates by TIZ PVT shows that after 100 Constituencies the results are as follows:
    Edgar Lungu 634 795 HH 589 387.

    The difference is now 45 408.

    • ECZ has all the results are ready. They`re just buying time for security purposes before they finally announce the winner.
