    • Ni ba Lungu chabe. I think tribal UPND should break away from zambia. You guys voted for HH on tribal lines. if we want to see the victoria falls,we will go to see it on the Zimbabwe side. @pretty you lost.

    • check the handshakes,,, Lungu & Scot handover of instruments of power,,,, then check lungu & Mugabe,,, then you say bla bla bla freemason HH,,,, because you are blind, you dont see your own family wtiches busy pointing at neigbours

    • Congratulations to H.E. President Edgar Lungu. Your inauguration speech was inspiring for all Zambians. May God guide you and our great Republic.

    • I personally don’t like Mr Lungu, but given all the trials, tribulations, harassments and rejection he faced from his fellow top party members, I say he must have some brain in that alcohol ridden body. I mean he beat Scot at his game. By the way, most Zambian men are drunkards. You may refute it all you want but it’s the truth. The first thing you do when you get off work is grab a beer. Come weekend you start with a beer with your morning meal till Sunday evening. If that’s not a definition of a drunkard, then tell me what is. So you are in good company with MR EL.

    • His dressing is got to improve. That was a childish tie he wore there, that is worn by 20 year old, I wouldn’t allow my fiance to wear it let alone touch it.

His cabinet will have a bearing on the strength of the opposition. If he discards one too many , they may join rainbow or UPND

19 months and he is out. He has t play his cards right

Mugabe had no right to be there, he is stain for me.

      Thanks
      Bb2014

    • Amazing…. This world is crazy. You never know what God gives you tomorrow.
I like the read tie, those we used in the 80’s.

    • Mushota you & N(n)icky, if he exists are a stain on LT. This moment is epic by any stretch of imagination, which you two may not have anyway! EL will have something, credit to him, to have weathered so much storm. Love him or Lothe him, he’s in your history books. He has more trials and tribulations to endure in the future but I am sure he will prevail. The wolves are lurking I but Eddie will do what he knows best, put into practice the lectures and tutorials from the School of SATA (MHSIEP)!

    • There is no insurance against stupidity and in this case the stupidity of a four provinces, Luapula, Northern , Muchinga who voted overwhelmingly for Lungu. Not even eastern had such level of stupidity. This guy is not presidential material by any measure. Also Miles in photo 23 and 28 does not look like someone who can wait for 2021 or 2026. He looks like someone who wants it for 2016

    • @Arithematic
I cant agree with you more on Miles Sampa,, the man looks bitter, cant even afford a fake smile,,,,, he wants 2016 so bad

    • I’m just thinking of what Watch Galu is will write about the suit? They seem to have issues with everything. Viva EL!!!!!

    • Southern, Western, North-western, Central and Copperbelt Provinces should forget about the presidency and move on. So much injustice has been done by people ruling our land since independence on our land, our resources and our people. It is high time we joined the Barotse activists in a peaceful and diplomatic endeavour (for now) for cessation of NW Rhodesia/ Barotseland from Zambia. You can even see that the standard that we have up to date in terms of leadership is our own Levy Mwanawasa. These People are just on our land to loot. Nothing will come out of this land as long as foreigners keep on ruling us.

    • @koswe, and what benefit would lying give to me? Lusaka times must be inaccurate coz I on a few occasions it has actually put a U.S. Flag when I’m in Zambia. Believe me when I say I was there. Took many videos and pictures. You are probably just a frustrated UPND cadre who wants to take it out on me lol

  1. Ni ba Lungu chabe. I think tribal UPND should break away from zambia. You guys voted for HH on tribal lines. if we want to see the victoria falls,we will go to see it on the Zimbabwe side.

    • @Lloyd banks

      What a myopic person.

If you want to see the V/falls you will go to Zimbabwe?

So if you want hydro-electricity power station on the Zambezi and Kafue gorge in Southern Province?

What of the coal in Southern Province?

What of the Ports of entry/exist Katima, Kazungula, V/fall, Kariba and Chirundu?

Beef and Maize in the South and Lenje land?

Copper in lambaland and North Western Province?

      Lusaka in Soli land?

The poorest portion of Zambia is Northern / Luapula province which is completely economically dependant on NW Rhodesia.

Viva NW Rhodesia!! Let us forever remain united in brotherhood as we face the shenanigans of NE Rhodesia!!

    • You are very stupi.d, pf deliberately chooses not to extensively campaign in southern and western provinces…..

It seems to me that tribalism in Zambia is Anti-Tonga. I get the impression that one group of tribes have a superiority complex. Tongas are very welcoming and kind people….. and hardworking too.

    • You must be an ignorant i diot. Don’t you know the UPND strongholds are the real Zambia, without them you have no Zambezi, no Kafue even, no Kariba and Itezhi Tezhi and no mines. You the good for nothing bunch of economic refugees from the North and East are ones to be driven away from Zambia. You can call you new country anything, Luapula may be, we wont be bothered.

    • for better zambia you need opposition remember it is the nation to benefit not two boys there
as much as your opinion need respect others matters too
      sober up bro

    • @Lloyd banks
Your careless mouth and dullness marks the beginning for demarcation of Zambian into North Western and North Eastern Rhodesia. We know our boundaries. The H/Q for NE Rhodesia is Chipata (Fort Jameson). NW Rhodesia will decide which H/Q. We are characteristically different people. We are fed up of being cold tribalists. We will fight for this disintegration forever.

    • Thank you for that suggestion, then you will be importing electricity from Zimbabwe and you will be charged duty to export your goods through Southern Zambia.

  2. Congratulations H.E. Lungu.

We your compatriots the people of North Western Rhodesia (Barostse, Lenje/Lamba, North Western and Southern) voted for your opponent HH-UPND. We were 37 000 short of votes you gathered from North Eastern Rhodesia (North and East provinces).

Your Excellency, we voted for HH because Zambia has become a divided country where we the custodians of wealth are marginalised by the intruders from the North especially who bring nothing to the economic table but corruption.

Unless this changes, we the people of North Western Rhodesia for eternity will always vote for non-corrupt and inclusive political parties.

This is not a matter of Tonga v Bemba; this is about NWR revolting against tribal supremacy of the North.

    • @Salamat
What you said makes a lot of sence and marks the beginning for demarcation of Zambian into North Western and North Eastern Rhodesia. We know our boundaries. The H/Q for NE Rhodesia is Chipata (Fort Jameson). NW Rhodesia will decide which H/Q. The colonialists saw that we are different people 100 years ago. We are fed up of being cold tribalists. We will fight for this demarcation forever.

    • I would not put it any better, these guys are treating us like we are Palestine and they are Isreal. No respect whatsoever, it is their tribalism, nepotism and super mist view that has united us. They even have the audacity to inaugurate their president in our land. I did not see any northwestern Rhodesia person of importance at that celebration,

    • That is what I enjoyed most. To be fair, Guy Scott and cartel treated E Lungu poorly. I thank God that their scheme unravelled before their very own eyes.

Where is Musa Mwenye and Msiska who threatened to arrest Edgar?

Where is the mukumfwilwa who said Edgar was not annointed?

How beautiful to see Miles Sampa eating humble pie!!

But I didnt see Hon Munkombwe politics of the belly and Masebo and GBM!!

    • To Mr Edgar Lungu I say; know your enemies. Know them very well. No acts of revenge right now. Keep them very close. Revenge can wait a life time if it has to and should never be seen as such. Am talking Guy Scot, Miles Sampa and Fred Mmembe.

    • KAMBWILI,MILES SAMPA ,CHENDA,SIMUUSA,LUBINDA,MULONGOTI,MASUMBA,MULUSA,DORA,MUHABI,KALABA,CHINTALA,KOPULANDE EVEN FRANK BWALYA SOME OF THIS WILL JUST COZ CONFUSION AND MUKWITA AND MWAMBA.
TO BE TRUTHFUL I FOR ONE THINK THE GUYS WHO ARE REALLY HARD GUYS ARE THE ONES WHO GAVE HHHHH VICTORY
THESE GUYS ARE HEROES AND IF OU CAN EMBRACE THEM .
LOOK AT MULUSA ,MASUMBA ,KOPULANDE ,TAIMA JUST WANT TO CAPITALISE ON BELLIES.NOT FACTORS AT ALL .
FACTORS IS WHO CONTROLS PIPO .MUHABI WASTE OF SPACE .
LOOK AT MASEBO GAVE EL TOUGH TIME

  3. President for all zambians, not only for people from the East. Shame on those who voted on tribal basis! Congrats H.E E.C. Lungu.

    • The East and north voted on tribal basis, we in west and south are victims if tribalism, all the top soup goes to you guys you expect us to just vote for you. Shame on you for calling us tribalist, when you are the chief of all tribalists.

  4. Illiterates voting other illiterates in. useless country with a majority of foolish eligible voters. m****** mwe

  5. President for all zambians, not only for people from the East. Shame on those who voted on tribal basis. Congrats H.E E.C. Lungu!

    • You live in denial.

Until now, the people of North have never voted for UPND.

That is precisely why the people of North Western Rhodesia will continue to identify with UPND.

How can you say tribal voting since HH cannot be simultaneously Chokwe, Lamba, Soli, Luvale, Mbunda, Kaonde, Toka, Lozi, etc. All these voted for HH.

By the way NW Rhodesia also gave more votes to the PF candidate than NE Rhodesia gave to the UPND candidate.

So what is tribal about this?

    • President Lungu worked in legal department at one of the prestigious financial institutions in Zambia. Lungu I know is a hard working, focused and sincere person. He is a humble person but not a pushover. I earnestly believe and humbly request fellow Zambians to give him full support to deliver on his promises. Next 20 months will be challenging for him to undo the last 40 months lawlessness and free for all conduct of some of the so-called ministers, MPs, Civil Servants who could not be disciplined due to late President Sata’s ill health. President Lungu, congratulations and hope one day we, your colleagues of 1980s can stand up and feel proud of you. Cheers!

    • ?@TrueZambian
President for all the North Eastern Rhodesians. You have failed to live with people from North Western Rhodesia. You insult them calling the Tribalists. From today, forget about this cosmetic union called Zambia. It is Fluke. There was no tribal voting last week but God was showing you that we are different people. British saw this 100 years ago and had two capitals: Fort Jameson and Kalomo. Kaunda duped North Western Rhodesians with a useless One Zambia One Nation. We will demarcate as we know the boundaries. Live where you are you will be naturalized. We are tired of being called Tribalists. Demarcation process starts now from your message. VIVA WESTERN PROVINCE, VIVA NORTH WESTERN PROVIVE, VIVA CENTRAL PROVINCE, VIVA SOUTHERN PROVINCE!

  6. Congrats Mr President Lungu, that’s the way to do it, you have done it in style. My advise to you now is to consider appointing your rival and UPND President Hakainde Hichilema as your VP after all, you are both Zambians, young, educated, conversant and familiar with the Zambian Political history.

You must work together to uplift the living standards of the Zambian masses who have suffered so much at the hand of previous corrupt regimes of RB and the late short fellow, Chabala Kafupi. Further and without delay please, reward old man Scott for being there for you and the late President Sata. Consider too in your new Cabinet former first Lady Kaseba. She too deserves some position in your cabinet and/or Government.

Once again from these frozen lands I say, Congratulations…

    • HH is too big for VP in the PF. He deserves to be president of Zambia-how can HH be vice when he is more a leader than your EL. That is an insult my friend. Just keep your confusion to yourself in the PF, we are not complaining in the UPND, we are comfortable as an opposition because we not job seekers.

  7. EL should have invited HH and sat next to each other thats the best way of starting to unite the country.am mindful dipake did represent upnd.their is no loser in this game we only differ on our approach in solving problems.

    • If HH did not accepte that he lost…. Hahaha has rejected this elections. He does not deserve to be at Heroes Stadium. NO. He must first accept that he lost before we will forgive him. Tell him I said so.

  8. Finally my president has done it, please H E Edgar C Lungu, embrace all despite tribe and the way they voted. Everyone loves you and expect the best from you. We also know that the time is short but try and bring development to the country as whole. Lastly don’t have hatred towards whoever was against you during the trying time of elections

  9. Any other foreign dignitaries in attendance apart from Bo kuku Bo Lobati Mugabe? Michael Sata Mark II… it has begun, the reincarnation of Sata where no neighbouring president visited during his entire tenure other than his kind Mugabe.

Whatever happened with the gods for Zambia to deserve this curse of poverty despite her potential. Even the Angolans who fought for more than 30 years have surpassed us and are now ahead of us. How can we progress with the likes of Kambwili, Emmanuel Mwamba at the helm of our leadership. I really hope Lungu can turn things around, even just 1% better than Sata.

Kanitundila is joining in to share the spoils… and the shameless KK is of course always there. All the best to you Mr Lungu… may God impart wisdom in you.

    • Am very tired of empty noise makers in the likes of Leopard Kambwili, it is sad that its not the last time we are seeing of these batch of Kabolalas,,,,,my people pa Zed are very disappointing to maintain these try and error batch.

  10. @Salamat..I have not mentioned any tribe..I have said “Those who voted on tribal basis” I don’t care how many tribes you have in North Western and I’m not interested to know what tribe you are! We are all zambians thats our identity, not tribes.

Stop whining, most places and rural areas in zambia are not developed!

    • TrueZambian……this election cleavage and chasm exposed is something that MUST be addressed.

How come NW Rhodesia voted UPND and NE Rhodesia was PF?

In my view this has nothing to do with tribe…i hope. Certainly not in NW Rhodesia!! For all I know, HH is not Luchazi or Kaonde, or Nkoya or Mbunda or Nyengo or Luyana or Lenje.

      This is the worry…..!!

  11. Congrats Mr. President, don’t forget to appoint Munkombwe, Great Bag of Maize (GBM) and solola Murambiwa S. Masebo kkkkkkkkk. Anyways congrats once again and come 2016 you still have my vote

  12. it is one zambia one nation tribal labelling should have gone with twenty century
Nation needs to grow now don’t compare yourselves to Zimbabwe look forward for the benefit of your children and grands

    • Forget about One Zambia One Nation nonsense. Back to NW Rhodesian map and NE Rhodesian Map. We trusted KK’s One Zambia One Nation nonsense. We are sick of being called Tribalist. Westerners are right with BA64. Viva Western, Viva North Western, Viva, Central, Viva Southerm provinces. Munkombwe had a point when he said let us rotate the presidency. Some North Eastern Rhodesians Fools are saying other Tribes will never rule. Your saw last week that these other tribes can rule and to stop this you only had to resort to stealing votes using dubious ECZ.

  13. It’s time we had a rotating presidency between NE and SW Zambia like there is in Nigeria between Muslims and Christians. It’s obvious the NE and SW Zambian people distrust each other so much – No need to pretend.

  14. The first 4 pictures are weird, Lungu fails to smile at wife but instead shows her a long and wrinkled face. Well, at least he had a smile for Guy Scott.

Pic 29, Lungu raises the MMD symbol higher than the PF, in fact there are more MMD symbols than PF. Is it RB brewing up things?

  15. If i were Edgar Lungu,i would never bring any bantustan in my cabinet.then i wouldnt develop southern as voters from there will never vote for a non tonga even if PF Govnt fulfilled all promises, gave them free food, free education, all free plus pocket money, when voting HH(a tonga) will still get 95% votes!!let president Lungu stop wasting time and resources in southern as tongas will never vote for a non tonga.tribalism is in their blood!WE SHALL VOTE LIKE THEM IN 2016 SINCE WE’VE LEARNT!!!I CANT WAIT FOR 2016 TO DEFEAT HH ONCE MORE!!!!GO PF GO!!!

    • Ehe…Eddy

That is why North Western Rhodesia would prefer to stay with UPND.

In any case what economic benefit does Luapula, Muchinga and Northern Provinces bring to the Zambian Exchequer. Zilch, nope, zero.

You are just parasites leeching onto the economic wealth of NW Rhodesia. There is nothing you can do to disadvantage NW Rhodesia, it is the economic heart and engine of ZED.

Come 2016 and forever, we are with fellow NWR!!

    • @Eddy,
Your are so dull looking at what you are saying. Did you hear anybody from Western, North Western, Central, Southerm provinces say the Rubbish you have said? The .
So Forget about One Zambia One Nation nonsense. We are Back to NW Rhodesian map and NE Rhodesian Map. We are sick of being called Tribalist. Westerners are right with BA64. Viva Western, Viva North Western, Viva, Central, Viva Southerm provinces. Viva Munkombwe . You believe that other Tribes will never rule. Your saw last week that these other tribes can rule and to stop this you only had to resort to stealing votes using dubious ECZ.

  16. We really put in a spirited fight. Could someone tell me the number of constinuences HH came tops. This would have equated to the number of MPs we would have had in Parliament had this been Parliamentary and Presidential elections. Bravo to areas like Simba and rural CB, LS and Central who turned the tables and gave us their vote!! PF do not be carried away too much ……tusunami is coming in 2016 and you know it.
One more thing, can UPND make sure that Mugabe’s boy heading IT Dept at ECZ is dismissed. Our own smart graduates have no jobs, so why give it to a Zimbabwean, unless of course there are some hidden motives!!

    • Thats what you always say , even in 2016 you will lose. HH will lose come 2016 coz this time will be a landslide victory. Other provinces will vote like Southern .

  17. Ba Koswe, I am not sure whether you are privy of fashion styles. So I will school you so that next time you do not repeat your lack of knowledge on some topics.

The loop less pants are meant to adjust when you lose weight or gain a little on the tummy. Polo Ralph Lauren, Ralph Lauren Black Label, Ralph Lauren Purple Label and Paul Stuart are popular in designing trousers with side adjusters. These are in the same category of Haggar trousers. Now, go and Google Haggar trousers.

Congrats to Edger and the PF. We did not need to change government for the remaining 18 months, it is a huge cost to the tax payers. For the losers, congrats to you for your time, work hard in 2016.
Be safe mother Zambia and I will see you soon if God will.

  18. @ salamat

You are not honest just like your president HH who was claiming to be a church elder and yet he is not even a registered member of the church

  19. @ salamat

Your warped thinking will not get you any where, just wait for 2016 when we are going to mobilize the whole of Northern provinces and eastern to vote in numbers like you did in southern, Then will put your HH in the dust bin

    • @ Salamati . Think ma men. This voting paten tells you that One Zambia One Nation nonsense is a nosense. You cant fight nature.

    • Grand….thank you for confirming your tribalism.

So since we can’t live together, we revert to the 1911 two.nation status. NER and NWR.

it won’t be first time you have voted against NWR. last election you only have us 1% of your vote!!

    • ……..wait for 2016 when we are going to mobilize the whole of Northern provinces and eastern…..

      @Grand

Why wont you organise NW Rhodesia. Why concentrate on Northern Provinces which are economically deprived but for the taxes from NW Rhodesia.

NW Rhodesia taxes are building schools, hospitals, clinics, universities (two in Muchinga) whilst the owners of the wealth are being deprived of development.

Our resources are being looted for the benefit of the Northern Provinces. Come to Ndembo or Mboe people live despite being owners of the copper money you are looting.

NW Rhodesia – Aluta Continua. UPND nayo nayo till Maibuye!!

    • Mobilization was just in some parts of southern. We will mobilize as well. In Western and NW ,Central , CB rural , Lusaka. You have a probl

  20. I don’t see any Asians and Arabs represented even though we pay the most taxes to GRZ.

    Discrimination has got to stop.

  21. Impressive pictures of our new president, especially the one with KK and Robert Mugabe beside him.

    One Zambia, One Nation.

    • When it is the Northerner or Easterner at the helm of power you start saying One Zambia One Nation. But then if it is someone from other regions nearing the coridors of power (HH), you deliberately forget the slogan but go on the top of your roofs shouting that u can’t rule. Am a Northerner, but am hurt by this deep hypocrisy. Let the best person rule, be it a Luvale, Lozi, Tonga, Namwanga, Kaonde etc. The only time this division based on regions will end is when people from these regions who feel marginalised will be given a chance to rule and that will be the time One Zambia One Nation slogans who start making sense.
The kind of insults directed on HH and his tribe in the just ended elections by people with names such as Chanda, Mulenga, Phiri, Jere is just heart breaking and must be…

    • @Zezemba

If you indeed are a Northerner, tell your mates that times they are a changing!

Never ever, will the people of NW Rhodesia be hoodwinked by the ‘One Zambia One Nation’ tool of oppression of KK who used it effectively to silence the opposition from NW Rhodesia. Anyone who had an alternative view was labelled tribal and ostracised.

No longer will the people of NW Rhodesia watch and see their wealth purloined to develop the unproductive Northern regions.

If northerners cannot stand a person from NW Rhodesia at State House, then let the country revert to the pre 1911 states.

  22. Power is sweet zo ona, Even Kambwili and Sampa made sure they were the first ones to congratulate him? Watch the vultures at work. Lungu should now be his own man free from these good for nothing and wasteful people. The cries of the marginalised provinces should not be ignored but instead prioritised if you want to turn your narrow victory in to a majority next year. Congratulations and we salute you for making sure our constitution road map does not become a talking point for the next campaign season. We also hope you will take a grip on on the countries debts which are spiralling out of control. We expect a young financial controller at the helm of the ministry of finance. It would also be a nice unifying gesture to tour all the provinces and say thank you to the great people of Zambia.

  23. Did you notice? In picture number 29, probably under the influence of liquor, Lungu forgot to flash the PF symbol and went for the hour. RB/KK is in charge of the govt.

  24. GBM,Masebo, and the rest money and cheap talk doesn’t choose the president but God congratulations mr president we are praying for you to lead this beautiful country mother Zambia

  25. SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

    IT WAS A PAINFUL LOSS!!!!

The Zambian watchdog wishes to announce to its esteemed fans that it will soon change its name from ZWD to Bantustan/UNPD DOGI.

Any inconvenience this will cause is deeply regrated.

    HALILA HAGAIN

  26. Where’s the belt, you ask? Well, the apparel is not your run-off-the-mill type that you maybe used to seeing on Cairo Road. No loops, you see!

    • @Victor

This is the attitude that will drive the country into an intractable civil contest.

Munkombwe, despite being used by successive northern political formations, attempted to redeem himself when he stated that Zambia was a large country made up of many ethnic groups and peoples and that the regions must have a chance to be heard through governing.

He said that North, East, West, North Western, Southern provinces must occupy presidency on rotational basis. This is a viable solution. If the north thinks they can continue to dominate the political landscape by even sponsoring people like Lungu, Zambia’s unitary state will be compromised.

  27. Please you have won, chapwa. You do not have to continue insulting us from so-called “small tribes”. We are also human and Zambian. Just enjoy your victory.

  28. Heres what I can quote from King Solomon in Ecclesiastes 9:11 “I have seen something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but time and chance happen to them all”

In our context both time and chance have happened to ECL.

  29. iwe Lloyd Banks if we break away from zambia what will you be eating? Do you know that you will be exporting dry fish for a living

  30. Statistics:

1991 – North Western, Southern, Western and Central provinces gave Chiluba 100%.

1996 – again in 1996 they gave him almost 100%

But at the time when Mazoka was very popular and got a resounding vote even in Lusaka, Northern and Luapula Province rejected him. This time around the same thing has heppened to HH. Then who is tribe?

    • Whether you voted for or against Edgar Chagwa Lungu, he is the President of all Zambians – whether you like it or not, he outnumbered all the presidential contestants. It is now water under the bridge – Let move on as One Zambia One Nation, smile!!!!!

  31. SORRY FOR POSTING ON THE PAGE MEANT FOR DULL ,SENSELESS ,PIECES OF HUMAN HIPS OF FLESH……WHO EVER MADE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOVE ,,,,,,,YOU ARE THE ONES AM REFERRING TO ……STUPID *****S……ONE ZAMBIA ONE NATION FOR LIFE ………
