Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi believes he has assembled a strong squad that will challenge for the 2015 FAZ Super League title.
Nkana have signed more than 12 players for the new season that begins with the Charity Shield on Saturday.
Chambeshi said Nkana have experienced players who would spearhead the team’s title chase.
“I have seasoned players who can compete. I am happy with the way they are playing in friendlies,” he said.
“Come beginning of the season I think we will start on a good note,” Chambeshi said.
Meanwhile, Nkana’s credentials to challenge for their 13th league title will be tested when they face Zesco United in the Charity Shield semifinal finals at Arthur Davies Stadium on Saturday.
Nkana have never beaten Zesco in the last ten years.
“It will be a different ball game,” Chambeshi said.
Thats the team go boys
Beston Chambishi, you really need to pull up your socks this season. Not what you and Hector Chilombo did at Power 90.
Positive results should be seen this season.
Beston Chambeshi wont be Nkana coach by june 2015 if the team fails to do well!!!his work after replacing late Mwale last year was poor and am sure he was given a second chance hence allowing him to continue and buy him so many players!!he will have no excuse if Nkana performs bad in the first 15 games!!!SINCE NKANA HAS NEVER BEATEN ZESCO IN LAST 10 YRS,I CAN SEE THEM LOSING ON SATURDAY AGAIN!!! “IFINTU NI LUNGU”!!!
