Demoted FAZ Super League side Roan United have confirmed Fordson Kabole has head coach.
Club chairman Chisoni Miti says Kabole has been given a one year deal at Kafubu Stadium.
The veteran coach was hired by Roan last October in an interim capacity after the dismissal of Dean Mwiinde.
“We have actually engaged him (Kabole) on a one year contract, subject to renewal depending on his performance,” Miti said.
With five games remaining last season, Kabole failed to help Roan survive demotion.
Now he has a task of leading the Luanshya club he last coached in 1996 back in the Super League.
“We are on course and preparing adequately for the new season. I think everything is in place now,” Miti said.
Meanwhile, Roan begins life in Division One North on Sunday with a Week One match against Konkola Mine Police.
