Power Dynamos have dropped football pundit Ponga Liwewe and sports administrator Andrew Kamanga from their executive.
The duo are part of five changes to the executive committee made by the club that include Precious Chisenga, Edward Ngosa and Fred Chalenga.
The five have been part of the Power executive since December, 2013 and have been replaced by Chishimba Kaela, Obed Chishala and Muntanga Sibalwa.
“The changes have been made in order to enhance service delivery and in preparation of the launch of Power Dynamos Football Club as a business entity in the next few months,” club secretary Ricky Mamfunda said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Benny Simukoko and George Lungu retain their positions and chairperson and vice chairperson respectively.
Mamfunda also retains his position as club secretary alongside treasurer Heggie Kalangwa and committee member Morton M’
…This could be the end of Andrew Kamanga’s gross opportunism of getting to the helm of soccer administration together with his minion Simata Simata.
This the Kamanga who sent Warriors to Division one and ran to Power, Thanks Power for jetissoning this guy.
He is the one who fought battles to create a parrarell in Zambia where most teams got punished by FAZ. He is a danger to Zambian football. He flew to Zurich with is pal Simata to seek FIFA guidance; they were chased like dogs…He is a fool.
As for Ponga, I think he needs to do more and identify himself with People like Pivoty Simwanza or Chitembeye. These two mean well. Ponga can still challenge for FAZ presidence and bring his connections to our league also.
